((I know I haven't updated in over 2 weeks and I'm really sorryx10000. My editor disappeared and I've been looking for a new one. I'm good now. Plus I've been really busy with schoolwork cus I had strep throat and now have tons of things to make up, plus finals, a performance, and fixing my schedule for next year. But yeah, this chapter is a Bit shorter then originally planned, but I think I stopped it any a very very good spot. I love this chapter, lots of percabeth feelings. Hope you love it too! Ps. Sorry for the long authors note, hopefully shorter ones from now on. ~karaaa))

Dead? Gone? Sleeping? Was Percy okay? Annabeth was tired of all these twists and turns. Aphrodite hadn't been kidding when she said she'd make Annabeth's love life "interesting". Interesting was quite possibly the understatement of the century. Annabeth was gonna find that bitch and personally give her a nice whack in the face.

Annabeth laid in her bed, sobbing. By now she didn't really care if her friends heard her or not. She didn't care about anything, anything except for Percy.

She wanted him to be with her. She wanted to feel his familiar touch, and hear his voice, and smell his ocean like smell. All she wanted was her seaweed brain back, but that may never happen.

There was knocking and yelling on the other side of her door, but Annabeth didn't care enough to go open it. She didn't care, she didn't care, she didn't care. She didn't care about what she had done, she didn't care that Leo had seen her break down, or that he was still attempting to talk to her through her locked door. It was the first time in what felt like forever that Annabeth just didn't care. She was tired. Tired of trying so hard, tired of being strong, and of always seeming put together. She was tired, not just of living, but of existing as well.

"Annabeth!" Leo yelled outside, Annabeth looked at the door, but didn't respond right away. Instead she grabbed a pillow and stomped towards the door. She opened it angrily, tears still rolling down her cheeks.

"What the hell do you want grease boy?" She yelled, the pillow held so tightly to her hands that her knuckles were turning white as marble. Grease boy? That was the best insulting nickname she could come up with?

"Woah woah! Calm down there, I just wanted to see if you were alright!" He said, and added "clearly not," under his breath.

"What was that?" She hit him with the pillow, trying to seem intimidating. She just wanted to be alone.

"Oof, woah woah! Watch it! Uh, i said nothing!... Anyways, Look, I didn't get to finish what I was saying earlier, you just stormed off."

"Yeah. Sorry about that," she replied, even though she wasn't really sorry. "I'm fine. Just an emotional wreck today," she lied, wiping away her tears with her sweatshirt.

"Um.. Well, alright then. Anyways, I was saying... I'm not sure of what I saw, and I don't wanna scare you. Look Annie, I wouldn't worry too much yet. You're a smart chick, you know that dreams aren't always the most accurate things ever." Yeah, he was right. Still though, Annabeth wasn't too reassured.

She wanted to scream, or lie, or at least say something, instead she just replied with "Don't call me Annie." She forced a chuckle after.

"Hehe... Sorry, I forgot you had a thing against nicknames or whatever," Leo rubbed his neck. "Anyways. I wouldn't think about it too much, just think about how he's out there, and now we have a little bit more of an idea where. Hell, maybe ill even find out some more from another freaky vision,"

A little bit more of an idea. A little bit. It was barely anything, definitely not even close to enough. Yet it gave Annabeth a bit of hope. Maybe Percy was okay, maybe he was just sleeping or something. She doubted it, but it was enough to give her back her drive. They didn't know where he was, or if he was even alive, but at least they were one step closer then before.

Annabeth forced a smile, somewhat cheered up, but mostly just trying to get Leo to go away. "Yeah, maybe. We'll talk later, come up with a new plan. I'm gonna go do research and stuff on my laptop now."

"Well okay then, if you need me, this extreme bad boy will be in the boiler room fixing some leaks," Leo wiggled his eyebrows and chuckled, then turned on his heels and strutted up the stairs.

Annabeth closed the door behind her and sighed. Despite trying to be excited about this new bit of hope, she still felt like crap. Sure, they may have the slightest idea where Percy is, but even with that, he could be dead by the time they found him, if he wasn't already.

Another deep sigh escaped Annabeth's mouth as she plopped on her bed. Thoughts flew around in her head. At first they were hopeful and happy, Percy's face, finding him, holding him, hearing his voice say her name, or wise girl, or anything. She thought of having him back, talking to him, and holding him.

But before long, those hopeful thoughts started to be overrun by bad ones. No matter how hard she tried to stop them, they kept creeping back up. And of all of the evil thoughts, one stuck out the most. One, the most horrifying of all. He could be Dead. Percy, her first kiss, the one she loved, could be dead.

After all of the work she had gone through. After the years of arguing and friendship and secret crushes. After they finally got together for a few months. After losing him time and time again, worrying about him. After hours and days of planning to get him back time and time again. After finding him and holding him close again for a few weeks. After all of that, he could be dead. And not only could Annabeth do absolutely nothing about it, but it would also be her fault. Her fault for what she did, why he was alone in the first place.

Percy may be dead, and it was all her fault.

((review your thoughts and such! Oh also, should I change the rating to M perhaps? There may be some stuff later on that may lead to that. But yeah, Id love to hear from you!))
