Prompt "A post-war fluffy fic with kids? Like, having the awkward conversation with Ginny about being a surrogate, after breaking her heart for Draco"

"You want me to what?" Ginny screeched.

She was sitting across from Harry in the Three Broomsticks Inn. She had come because she thought he might've come to his senses and wanted to get back together. It'd been 8 months, 2 weeks and 3 days. She counted. It was still as ridiculous as ever why he left. He said he'd "reconnected" with Draco Malfoy and then they started spending enormous amounts of time together. The two had never connected let alone reconnect. She thought. And then out of the blue he told her their engagement was off because he was in love with Draco!

"I'm sorry Ginny. I know that's a lot to ask of you and-"

"A lot to ask!? Harry you left me for him and you expect me to hold a child for you? Need I remind you that you broke the engagement off?!"

"Ginny please lower your voice. This is public…" Harry whispered leaning further across the table. This hadn't really been his idea. Honestly Draco had it in mind. Truthfully Harry and he could adopt had they wanted to, but Draco insisted he kept his best friends sister close. Harry hadn't known then just how close he wanted her kept.

"Fine Harry. I'll be quiet, because we're done here. My answer is no." and she grabbed her coat.

"Ginny! Hang on a second! I picked you because I wanted to keep you around you know! So that the baby could be yours too. When I broke the engagement off I wasn't thinking, I know that. I'm not saying Draco and I are over because we aren't. I know that sometimes he gets on my nerves about how he has to have this brand of tea or this specific colour of velvet cushions, but what am I supposed to do? I love him Ginny and I know that hurts you. But I couldn't stand of being away from him when he makes his dumb puppy dog eyes when I'm mad at him. Or the way he couldn't use muggle objects to save his life, have you ever seen someone walk a toaster? Because I have! Ginny I love you – really I do. But not the way I love him. I look at him every single morning and I see myself falling for him even more. Same goes for at night. And if giving him a child is what will make him happy then so be it. I wanted you to still be part of my life, but if you aren't willing. Fine."

When Harry looked at Ginny she was crying.

"What? No don't cry. Please I'm sorry."

She shook her head, "That was so touching… I mean as much as I hate him, and how much you broke my heart… you really truly love him with everything you have. Don't you?"

"Of course I-"

"Well he certainly tries." Draco interrupted striding over from his table nearby, "And for the record you shouldn't leave a muggle toaster on my kitchen table and not tell me how to use it and expecting me to understand."

"What are you doing here?" Ginny asked, "Spying on us, I suppose?"

"Actually I was here first. I thought you were going to the Leaky Cauldron. I ran into Blaise and Pansy," he pointed over his shoulder, "Thought we'd catch up and all." He paused, "By the way, do you not like the cushions?"

Harry rolled his eyes but smiled nonetheless, "That has nothing to do with it."

Draco gave him a peck on the cheek, "Well, Ginny… what do you say?"

"I think… I might have to say… yes." She smiled, "I hope it's a girl."

Harry looked at Draco, "Narcissa Lily."

He smiled but shook his head, "Lily Andromeda."
