Three days later we arrived in my home mountians. Though I said other wise Nemo brought a whole squad of men with us. He kept saying we would need the bullets. When all I thought of it as more meat for the wolves but I saw no use in arguing with him. Thinking all of them would feel safer with a wolf and about ten men armed with guns. On the third day, early evening we arrived at the outskirts of my village. I went ahead of everyone to scout out everything I came close enough to see my families mansion and the village square. Just the sight of my village broke my heart. My once beautiful clean home was now a run down village. Many of the homes's roofs had holes in them, children walked the streets in rages hungery. I saw three men outside the village tavern, four gaurding the front and back door to my families manson which had several broken windows and part of the roof was gone, as well as the north wall. Soon the wind picked up and I got the sent that came off the village making my stomache turn and it's containts come up. I ran behind a tree throwing up the rabbit I had that morning. After I wipped off my mouth I went back to see what else I could find.

I went a little closer to the village still being hidden behind the trees and up wind. I was going to go closer to the village but then I cought a fimialir sent one that sent my heart beating faster, than a fimilar voice came from the shack behind the mansion close enough to the trees I could get close without being seen. I snuck over to a window in the shack and parts of me wish I hadn't. Inside the shack was Skinner. He had black paint all over his body making him visible as well as several claw marks down his back, chest and stomache. His hands were tied to the roof by a thick rope making him nearly tangle off the floor and his head hung down from pain and exsotion. There was another man in the shack with him. He was tall thick shoulders and muscular arms. He whore a dark grey under shirt and had greasey black hair that was combed back. His shirt had specks of blood all over it. He was standing over a table with several knifes. Some had saw blades others hooks at the end and others were wicked sharp blades that looked like they could cut through anything.

"Now Mister Skinner if you will just tell me where the last Adolph is I may just let you live," the man said looking over the blades. Skinner said nothing but kept his head held down. The man turned from the table walking over to Skinner with a blade that looked more like an over grown fishing hook.

"I am getting very impatient Mister Skinner," the man held the hook close to Skinner's chest just scratching at his skin, "Where is the last Adolph?"

Skinner weakly raised his head moving his lips as if saying something. The man leaned closer to Skinner to hear what he might be saying but when his head was close enough Skinner spat on the mans face. His spit just landing in his eye. The man jerked back a step wiping the spit from his face and out of his eye. Skinner weakly smiled at him while the man's face just showed anger and disgust.

"If that is how you want to do this ghost man fine," the man said raising his fist, "I was going to go easy on you. But now I think I'm going to have some fun with you." He started punching Skinner, first his stomach then five more times in his face. When he was down Skinner had a black eye, he had blood driping from the corner of his mouth, and his cheek was swollen to the size of a kiwi. The man then smiled devilishly before he dug the hook into Skinners left side twisting it back and forth as he slowly dragged it up to his chest then dug it deeper into his skin. I could feel my anger grow inside me and the animal in me slam itself against its cage trying deprately to get out and ripe that man apart. My nails were digging into the wood of the shack as Skinner tried to hold back his screams of pain. I was about to jump through the window and ripe that man apart for torturing Skinner but another man came into the shack. The new comer had on a torn British sailor shirt and pants. He had messy somewhat clean brown hair that went down to his shoulders and wasn't wearing shoes.

"Sorry to disturb you sir," the new comer said bowing his head.

"What is it can't you see I'm in the middle of torturing someone," the first man said slashing the hook across skinners back not deep enough to kill him but deep enough to case major bleeding. My body was shaking from my anger and my patients was wearing thin.

"I am terribly sorry sir I just came to inform you that the hunting party as returned with tonight's meal."

"Alright I will be along soon," the first man said then leaned over to Skinners ear, "I'm not done with you yet." Then walked out of the shack followed by the other man. When the men were at the mansion I ran into the shack. Skinner was bleeding heavily onto the dirt floor. The smell of his blood was nauseating whatever was left in my stomach.

"Skinner," I said in a near whisper as I walked towards him, "Skinner it's Selene."

He weakly lifted his head up to face me, his eyes were weak and tired, but he was still able to show some happiness at seeing my face. I cupped both my hands to his cheeks as gently as I could smiling back at him.

"Selene is that you," he said weakly.

"Yes it's me Skinner," I said wiping the blood off his face. As I wipped the blood from his face he leaned into my touch, " I'm going to get you out of here." I reached for my knife to cut Skinner down but he stopped me from cutting the rope.

"Selene don't. You need to go back to the others."

"I could have come alone," I said hoping he would think I did so I could get him out of here and get him to Jekyou to patch him up.

"I know the boys better that... They would never let you wonder off by yourself," he weakly laughed then started coughing up blood.

"Easy Skinner you're to hurt for any jokes but I can get you to Jekyll and he'll patch you up I promise."

"No they have my sent now I would just be leading them to you. You have to go back to the Leauge, they can help."

Tears formed in my eyes at his words ,"Skinner you are asking me to leave you just like my sisters and brother had told me, and cause of that they died. I won't let that happen to you."

"And I can't let these men get their hands on you, Selene. You have to go and get the League."

My tears started falling as I hugged Skinner crying as I hugged him ,"I can't let them kill you. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if They kill you and I could have stopped them!"

"Don't worry I won't let them kill me," he resting his head against mine, "You have to go, I'll be okay. Don't worry." He then kissed the top of my head.

I wiped the tears from my eyex and nodded at him, "You better not die."

"I won't." I kissed his lips then ran out of the shack praying that I would make it back to save him. I ran back to the League and told them everything. From how many men I saw to Skinner's wounds leaving nothing out.

"Well this is a this is a fine mess," Tom said throwing his hands up.

"there has to be some way to win this,"Mina said.

"Any ideas,"Swayer not making the problem any brighter,"We are going to be up against an entire army of werewolves and all we have is a sharp shooter, an inventor, an American agent, a doctor/monster, one vampire and best of all ONE WEREWOLF!"

"Are you done,"Allan asked looking up from polishing his gun.

"Yes, I believe I am."

"Are you forgetting that we have about ten armed men,"Nemo pointed out.

"Yes but the bullets in any of your guns won't do anything to those wolves, only make them mad."

"And what bullets should we us,"Tom asked his mood not helping anything.

"Silver bullets."

"Well great I'm sure we have those wait no we don't,"Tom kept going on how this was whole thing was hopeless then the whole League got into an argument but I tuned them out. I knew they were just scared about facing werewolves and were concerned about Skinner. While the League was arguing I was trying to think of a plan to save Skinner and my land, but with the League argument and being so loud I couldn't think clearly so I went for a walk.

I wondered around for awhile trying to think of something to, anything but it was no good. I couldn't think of anything. I started getting frustrated with myself and angery. Hot tear boiled up in my eyes.

"HOW AM I GOING TO PROTECT THIS LAND IF I CAN'T EVEN PROTECT ONE PERSON,"I screamed they punched a tree. I cracked the tree causing a fist sized hole in it and popes my knuckles in the proses, "Ow".

I then kept walking till I came to a familiar log cabin. Out of curiosity I went up to the cabins door and knocked. I don't know why I did something just told me to. At first nothing happened so I knocked again, and again nothing happened so I tried a third time. The third time the door flew open and I was pulled or more or less pushed in by an invisible force. I landed on the hard wood floor head first then flipped head over heels onto my back.

" Ow," I grunted looking up at the ceiling then sitting up rubbing a my now bruised forehead. I looked around but saw no one. The house seemed to have been abandoned for years, a thick layer of dust covered everything and cobwebs were on every corner.

"Hello anyone here," I asked as I got to my feet, " Is anyone here?"

I walked into a small kitchen with a wood burning stove and a table at the center of the room with two chairs at the end of the table. I laid my hand down at one end of the table dragging my hand across it as I walked around the table. My hand wiped off a layer of dust and there was a clean path from where my hand was. Something felt familiar about this place like I had been here before. I looked around the room and saw one of the cabinet doors ajar. Curious about it I went over to it and found that it was the only thing in the house that didn't have any dust or cobwebs on it.

'Weird,' It thought to myself, 'If anyone lived here why would they only keep this one cabinet clean and why is it the only thing not covered in dust?' Slowly I reached for the handle of my knife and the cabinet door. I opened the cabinet and found a bowl of freshly picked blueberries. The bowl was a freshly carved polished white lime stone. Even the inside of the cabinet was completely clean; not even a spider in it. I pulled out the bowl to examine it closer. Then it hit me I was in Cathy's cabin the one I came to all those years ago. Suddenly a bright blue light blinded me making my drop the bowl causing it to shatter. The light blinded me for a second then I heard a soft voice say my name, I looked up holding my hand in front of my face shielding my eyes but I could see a female shaped figure wearing a beautiful red silk dress that flowed around her and her hair was long and burnet. She looked like my mother the last time I saw her twelve years ago.

"M... Mo...Mother," my voice was caught in my throat, "Is...that you?"

"Yes Selene it me," she held her arms open to me ,"Oh my little Selene."

The light around her started to fade to where in only was a small outline around her. I felt tears form in my eyes as I ran to her embracing her," Mother. I missed you so much."

"I missed you too my Selene," she said stroking my hair then she held me at arms length smiling as she looked my over, "Look at how much you have grown. My little baby is all grown up."

"I'm still your baby right," my tears were still falling.

"Of course you are baby girl," she said wiping away my tears, "You will always be my baby no matter what." I smiled at her then hugged her holding tight to her, she held tight to me as well. We stayed that way for what felt like hours it ended when my mother pulled away holding me at arms length.

Looking me in the eye she said, "Selene you have to strong for the up coming battle. No matter what you see no matter what they say stay strong. Don't let allow them to see your tears no matter what they do to you or your friends. Stay strong Selene."

"I don't know if I can. I can't even protect Skinner from them," I hung my head , " How can I protect myself let alone an entire village if I can't even protect someone I care about? I couldn't even save Bella or Echen and I couldn't save Garron." I started crying even harder my body shacked with my sobs my mother pulled me close to her chest trying to calm me down. I tried listening for her heart beat but I couldn't hear it which made me cry even harder. She held me close rubbing my back till I calmed down enough for us to continue our talk.

"Selene ever since you were a little girl you would always protect those who could not protect themselves and lead those who could not lead themselves. I remember when you were four almost every day you would come home all scratched up and covered in dirt with a new little friend either animal or human. You would always have a smile on your face when you would tell us about your fights. The village boys were scared of your temper but they respect you and admired how brave you were. How would stand up for the weak, and fight those who were twice your size and age."

I looked up to my mothers face and she smiled at me, "I have no doubt that you wouldn't be protect your friends and our home."

I smiled up at her hugging her tighter as she held me tighter. We stayed silent for a few minutes then she spoke up her voice in a near whisper, "I have to go now baby girl."

She let go of me and took a step back. I felt my heart breaking as the light around her grew brighter and brighter.

"No please don't leave me again," I criedout as the light grew brighter.

"Selene you have the powers of both your father and I flowing throw you we will never leave. We will always be with you even if you can't see or hear us. We will be there for you no matter what."

The started to become blinding I had to cover my eyes, " Mother please don't go."

" I love you baby girl I will always love you my sweet little Selene," with that my mother was gone in a blinding light. When the light was gone I was alone again the spot where she had been was clean and polished. I feel to my knees rolling onto my side hugging myself trying not to cry, but though I tried not to cry my tears still fell from my eyes. I laid there on the floor till the sun started to pick through the window and morning birds started to sing. I sat up wiping my face free of any leftover tears.

"I guess I have been here longer than I thought," I said standing up dusting my self off, " I guess I should head back to the guys. Their probably worried sick..about ...me"

My thoughts were side tracked as something shiny caught the corner of my eye. It was under the floor board in a small bedroom near the door. I went over to it pulling the floor board off I found the answer to one of my problems. I was filled with happiness in that moment. Under that floor board was an entire crate filled with silver bullets. Excited I riped the rest of the boards off. When ripped the rest off I found a pure silver sword and digger and note from Cathy.

"Dear Selene I saved these for you. Go kick some hide." My smile grew bigger as I read the note thanking her, grabbing the crate full of bullets and the silver blades caring the crate over my shoulder I kicked open the cabin door caring my finds with pride and renewed confidence in myself. With this new confidence I started back for the guys.

I made it back to our little camp around noon. When they heard me coming everyone jumped to their feet. Allan was the first to welcome me back ( scoled is really what he did).

" Selene where have you been and where on Earth did you get that crate," he asked. I smiled at him throughing the crate down. It feel on its side spilling out the bullets. Everyone's eyes widened as they saw the bullets.

"Where did you get these," Tom asked picking up a hand full of bullets.

"An old friend gave them to me," I said then stood on the box, " Load your guns boys. For tonight we free our friend and these people." All the men started cheering as the emptied their regular bullets.

"And Nemo," I said tossing him the sword and digger, " Try not to cut your self." I laughed. He examined the blades enjoying the look of them.

I turned to the men back to everyone shouting, " We attack at dusk!"

Here you go sorry it took so long to make. Thank you for you patients. I hope to have the next chapter in sooner than I had this on but I hope you enjoy it.
