*sorry for any errors*
One knock. Two knocks. Three knocks and the door swung open. There Wendy stood in her light nightgown and a loose robe. She secured the robe tightly and opened the door a little bit more.
"What can I help you with, Peter?" She asked leaning against the door frame. Her hair was messy and wavy and her eyes seemed bored.
"Wedding, remember?" He gave her a boyish grin stepping closer to her.
"Peter, I don't know if I can, I haven't even packed."
"You could just wear that dress from yesterday." Oh no, it had slipped from his mouth. Wendy laughed shortly and pushed her wavy chestnut hair back.
"Excuse me? My dress from yesterday? Peter, you were gone before I even wore that dress."
She crossed her arms and stared at him, studying him. She still felt a warmth in her heart when she looked at him. And she always realized something new. This time, she realized he was still a boy.
His moppy, obnoxious sandy curls that gleamed in the afternoon sun and his skin sun-kissed to perfection made him all the more handsome. Even if he now appeared 19, he still had traces of a young boy. His blue green sea eyes held this sparkle in them and his smile was boyish.
"Well um, I was looking for you last night and I saw you and him." He shoved his hands into the pockets of his slacks, pushing his large jacket back.
"Were you spying on us, Peter?" Her voice raising, and stood up straight, stepping out of the comfort of her home.
"I-It was an accident!"He stuttered walking back a step. Wendy stepped forward, putting her small finger on his chest.
"Peter Pan, you have no right whatsoever to ever spy on me! You hear me?" She jabbed her finger harder and he nodded, and grabbed her by the shoulders softly.
"I'm sorry, Wendy." He apologized, and she just nodded. He released her and then smiled slyly.
"Peter, I still don't think I can come."
"Please, Wendy. You're an important person in my life and I want you to be there for me. I mean you're very over me as you were busy kissing that Teddy boy yesterday. I mean it wouldn't hurt you anymore since you have another boy to toy with, right?" And he groaned again internally. He dearly wished to think before he spoke. Wendy's glare was killer. She got away from him shaking her head.
"You ruin everything, do you know that? Did that slip from your mouth too? Why are you so mad at me moving on, you did too, Peter. Can't you let me be happy for once? Why the hell are you so selfish? Bloody hell, I'm even surprised you know the term Teddy Boy."
She spat, chuckling coldly. He hadn't seen his Wendy be this happy, since she came to Neverland. Peter had hardly seen her smile since he came to London. All he did was hurt her and he hated himself. He really wished he could tell her the truth, but for her sake, he wouldn't.
"Wendy, I can't keep aplogizing, you know they're only words. I truly wish to show you how much I regret saying that. I really do, Wendy, but please come to my wedding. It mean the world to me if you came." He said sincerely, and he looked at her state of distraught. He only wished to kiss her till she felt better.
"I know. I guess if you really want me to, I'll go. It'll be a forever goodbye. I only go if the boys and Edward come."
"Wendy you know Edward can't come. We cannot risk the exposure. He'll be very confused and we don't want him locked up now do we? That Teddy Boy will do nothing but ruin my wedding."
"Peter, he's not all that bad!"
"Oh, but he is Wendy. He's turning you into one of those common girls in the city. You'll probably later on have a sailor mouth and ride on the back of his oh so expensive motorcycle while smoking a cigar. You'll lose your innocent touch, you won't be my Wendy Lady anymore!"
"Why the hell does this matter so much to you! This is my life not yours! What's so bad with smoking a cigar or riding on the back of his motorcycle. And stop with the god damn labels. He is not a Teddy Boy, and if he was, oh god forbid you Peter from even caring!"
"Wendy, please don't get mad, I'm sorry."
"Sorry for this, sorry for that , you don't even mean it anymore. I'll come to your wedding Peter, as long as you don't ever look for me again. Is that a deal?"
His heart was breaking, she didn't want to see to him anymore? Well, who would? He felt so disgusted at himself.
"Wendy, it doesn't have to be like this." It sounded as if he was begging, to be honest and frank.
"But Peter, you have to understand this is what I want. This is for everyone's sake, okay?"
"Deal." He couldn't believe he was accepting this, but she was right, it was for the best.
"Wendy?"
She sighed deeply as she walked back into the house, leaning once again against the door frame, "Yes, Peter?"
"Can I kiss you one last time?" He asked frankly, bluntly.
She felt her cheeks heat up, and she chuckled, "No Peter."
"One last hug?"
"Of course, but we'll see each other tonight, won't we?"
"Yes, but I'd still like a hug." He smirked and Wendy walked back to him and tip toed to wrap her arms around her neck. He wrapped his arms around her waist and swept her off the ground, twirling around.
She laughed merrily, "Peter! Put me down!"
Edward was walking down the street, unfortunately. He was fixing the flowers in his hand as he saw the two being twirled around and he smiled. She was happy. That's all that mattered, and Edward thought they were just friends after all.
"Oh Wendy, remember how you flew like this? Remember when we danced in the air?" He shouted, not stopping. She was laughing so hard and it was contagious. He followed after, both not seeing the other young boy walking to them with flowers in his hand.
Edward was still alright with the fact that Peter was with his Wendy.
"Oh I do remember flying, Peter! I do remember dancing in the air." They were slowing down and he put her down softly.
"Remember when you kissed me on that deck of miserable Jolly Roger?" He asked pushed her hair back, placing his hand on her cheek.
"Peter," She breathed hotly putting her hand over his hand.
"Can I kiss my Wendy Lady?" He didn't wait for an answer and began to lean in.
She put a finger on his puckered lips, "I'm sorry, I can't-"
"Wendy?" Edward asked awkwardly, waving the flowers at her face.
She cleared her throat and walked away from Peter. She walked towards Edward and hugged him, but it just wasn't the same. Sure, the electricity and sparks flew when they touched, and it felt special, but when it was with Peter she felt this magnet, this warmth, like it was natural.
"Roses, my favorite." She grinned and kissed his cheek.
Peter was there dumbstruck. He blinked and went back into the world, he stuck his arm out and gave a phony smile , "Edward, nice to see you again."
Edward was about to shake it, but Peter being the childish boy he is pulled it back, "I'm afraid I have lied. Never a pleasure to see you."
"Peter!" Wendy scolded, "Don't be rude and childish. Apologize."
"I won't apologize to that codfish!" Peter taunted, just like he had with the grand Captain James Hook that had fallen.
Wendy laughed, but smacked her hand over her mouth, "Peter, he isn't Hook, so quit it!"
"Ah, darling, he is Hook's son!" Peter teased laughing, he didn't mean it of course.
And the look on Edward's face went unnoticed, he turned a white and quickly recuperate himself, "Hook? Who is this Hook?"
He grinned and Peter laughed coldly, "See you tonight, Wendy." And he left, just like that.
"Tonight?" Edward asked as Wendy pulled him inside. And she smiled like a thirteen year old girl learning her crush liked her back.
"Now boys, I'm sure you have packed lightly, and you told Mother and Father you were all coming with me to go visit Aunt Millicent by the sea side." She said as she lastly put in a pair of flats into the small school bag. She had packed a skirt that fell below her knees and a white ruffle shirt to change in after the wedding.
Altogether, the 8 boys only had 2 brief cases which were carried by John and Simon.
"You know, I have a suggestion." Brandon grinned as he looked out the nursery window. How funny it was, they were leaving the same way they came. The legendary nursery room had now become nothing. It stayed exactly the same, with all the toys and the three famous beds. And the window was still wide open.
"And what is it, Brandon?" Wendy asked as she stood with Michael, her hand over his shoulders.
"We call each other by our signature and infamous names." Mason finished for him. And the boys all nodded in agreement.
"Infamous? Only Peter and you lads know your names."
"Oh piss off, Wendy." Slightly chuckled.
"Hey, Simon-"
"Slightly." He corrected.
"Don't disrespect me, unless you want to be kicked in the groin. Alright?" She snapped and in a blew a breeze and a bell.
That bell was such music to all their ears, especially Wendy. A light flew into her face, and Wendy shouted in joy, "Tinkerbell! Oh my, how much I have missed you!"
Tinkerbell said an ununderstandable profanity, but she still tingled in her face.
"Tinkerbell, don't be rude, it is after all Wendy Bird!" Peter laughed as he flew into the room and he studied and took in all the boys.
"Boys, how nice to see my lost boys." Peter smiled sincerely, proud of how the boys had grown up.
"Peter Pan, our ex grand leader. Always an honor to see you." Curly sarcastically said as he leaned against the bedpost.
"A lack of sarcasm would be much better." Peter chuckled, not angry at all, but enlightened.
"Slightly, you look wonderful , my friend. My right hand." He greeted Slightly and the lost boy rolled his eyes, but laughed.
He moved onto the next boy, "Twins, still looking exactly the same."
He went on, "Nibs, looking quite different actually. Oh, Curly, I can see you still have that attitude problem we need to adjust. Ah Tootles, my little boy is now a grown man, how adorable."
Peter chuckled and moved onto the Darling boys, " John, my momentarily incommand, such an Englishman are you not?"
And he looked over at Michael next to Wendy, "Michael, you have also grown up wonderfully."
Finally he stopped at Wendy, that was in the white dress he had suggested, "Wendy looking beautiful as ever."
Tinkerbell buzzed in his face and fluttered all over the place, "Oh Tink, don't be jealous."
"Tink," Wendy waved her over,"How are you loving Victoria?"
Tinkerbell began to buzz like crazy and Slightly translated, "She said she loathes her twice as much as you."
"Glad to know you still you loathe me." Wendy giggled and Tinkerbell fluttered to her cheek and she felt something cold touch her on the cheek.
"Wow, Tinkerbell the great and jealous fairy gave Wendy a kiss!" Peter laughed loudly and Tink flew over to him, pulling on his hair.
"Ouch! Tink, sorry!" And she stopped, nuzzling his neck.
"Are you all ready to join the island of Neverland once more?"
Shouts of joy erupted and Peter ordered, "Tink do your magic and boys and lady think your happy thoughts."
In a flash, Tinkerbell sprinkled each and everyone of the teens with fairy dust and all of them rose up. The laughs were uncontainable and everyone flew around the nursery.
Adrenaline pumped through Wendy and she smiled so wide, it began to hurt. Peter, like before, stood on the window sill, in some trousers and a white button up shirt.
"Have I ever told you that I miss your leaves and vines?" Wendy shouted over the loud chatter of the lads.
"Until now." And then everyone quieted down, looking at the great once leader.
"Here we go!" And he jumped off the window, shouting with joy. His boyish shouts made the flight all the much better. Everyone flew after him and they couldn't get over how good they felt. They flew all over the place. They flew around the Big Ben and flew down into the snow covered streets.
Wendy flew next to Peter smiling big and beautiful.
"Tell everyone to grab on now!" He yelled through the wind.
"Everyone grab onto each other's ankles!" Wendy screamed loudly and one by one they all grabbed on and Tinkerbell flew up to Peter. They flew into the second star of the right and the universe was speeding up to them. They flew by the planets and the stars.
And they zoomed into another world. Everything went white and there it was, the gorgeous island of Neverland staring back at them.
"Lads, welcome back."
This chapter isn't so great ): sorry loves, i felt kind of woosy and this was actually a filler chapter. All the fun shall begin on the next chapters (; . so sad my story is almost coming to an end! Don't worry, I'm already coming up with new ideas for a new story! Please do favorite and follow and leave reviews.
To be honest with you all, I feel as if no one really reads this story ): Not many of you leave so many reviews. But the ones that do, thank you! I have actually messaged back some of you. If it wouldn't be too much to ask, may I please get 7 reviews? I feel as if that's quite a lot. Of course, I don't need them all to post a new chapter, but it'd be appreciated. I don't really need reviews to write, but they help a lot and I'd just love if that happened.
Have a lovely day all of you
