Vampires and Fea have never really got along but were never really friend either, if any it was more of a hunter and prey type of relationship. Yes some type of vampires feed on blood alone but noble and royal vampires are different not because they hold any kind a rank but because of why they hold the rank. Vampires like Ari are not created they are born blood of the purest kind, they do not required blood to live they fed off of the very essence of life itself. Now the Fea are beings of life they are what keeps the season in balance, they infuse life into all plants and animals. They control when crops grow in abundance and when they fail. Royal vampires do fed on human souls more frequently but they will fed off the Fea when they can catch them. The Sidhe are a rare and highly desired source of essence. Just one Sidhe is worth 100 human souls.

The sun was weakly shining through thick clouds heavy with rain. The smell of rain was what lured him out in the first place even with the sun up the promise of rain was much too much for him. Ari creeped quitely out of one of the side doors of his family's manor and down through a small well kept garden. The young raven haired vampire knew that if he was caught wondering about the grounds at this hour he was going to be in some deep trouble. Now his family was not a small one. He had seven older brothers and seven older sister and one younger sister making sixteen in total. He was the youngest brother, with the power to control water as well as being a physic. If he was caught by one of his sisters he might be able to talk his way out of trouble, but if one of his brothers caught him there would be no talking only punishment.

It took only maybe fifteen minutes for him to make it to the side gate before he slipped out. Only when he was safely aways from the gate did he stop and let out a relieved breath. He headed for a small pond that he used to train with his element until it was perfect. But this time as he approached the pond he found that someone was already there. The coppery scent of blood filled the air along with the sweet smell of a flowers and growing thing. Ari knew what kind of being that scent belonged to. Almost instantly his pupils contracted it was a Sidhe and it was wounded and weak the perfect pray. Stalking over to the wounded Fea in a long practiced motion he posed himself to strike and at that moment the wind brought a different smell along with the blood. When that scent hit Ari's nose his desire to want to hunt suddenly vanished his pupils returned to normal and his predatory instincts were replaced with a desire to protect and claim the Fae as his own.

"That's not possible it can't be. A Fea no a Sidhe is destined to be my fated mate my life bonded?" The young vampire whispered to himself as he slowly made his way down to the wound fea. As he got closer he noticed that the Fea was male and was clutching his left side, as blood flowed freely from a deep cut. If the wound was not taken care of soon he would bleed to death. Before his mind could catch up with his body Ari found himself picking up the wounded man and moving him to a small rundown old shed. His used his power over water to halt the flow of blood. "That will stop it for now but it has to be bandaged and stiched close or he will die." he said to himself.

"If you have anything metal that's not iron i can help. But you have to do it quickly before…" the young man said his voice barely above a whisper in his hand he held a small just burning ball of dull red flames. Instantly Ari knew what the young man wanted him to do. After a quick search he found a piece of eternium a metal that was only found in this realm. Ari quickly stuck the metal into the dying fire it didn't take long for it to heat. "This is going to hurt and im sorry it the only way." he said before he pressed the white hot metal against the wound. The young man didn't even flinch he had lost consciousness right before the metal touch him. 'Guess that's a blessing' He thought as he went about cleaning the area around the wound as well as trying to clean the man up a little.

Ari noticed that he had flaming red hair, now that he was closer he noticed that he smelled like lavender and pine. He found himself running his fingers through his hair which despite being dirty was still surprising soft. 'Mine i will hunt down what hurt you and destroy it.' Ari thought as his pupils once again contracted, just a quickly he shook his head clearing all thoughts out of his mind. "What the hell is wrong with me, i must be losing my mind i should just eat him and go back to bed and pretend this never happened. That's what I'll do erase all trace of him and go back to bed." He said to himself as he went about cleaning up the trail that led from the shed down to the lake where he found the young redhead, but as he turned back to head to the shed to finish him off he found himself heading back to the manor instead. ' I must be losing it, with any luck once he gets some rest he will be gone and never return. And i can go back to searching for mates among my own kind.' he thought as he carefully made his way back to his room for some much needed sleep.

The sound of the alarm going off broke through the dream startling him awake. Ari looked down at the still sleeping redhead snuggled next him. 'Mine and i will never let anyone hurt you, not so long as I draw breath.' he thought before shaking him awake "come on my love time to go to work, if we are late again Keru will kill us both."
