Author's Note: This is going to be a twist of Little Red Riding Hood…though I suppose Red: Werewolf Hunter has a bit more influence. It will be different because in this world there are three basic fractions, Werewolves, Sorcerers and humans and everyone knows about Werewolves and Sorcerers. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this.

I apologize for how long this has taken me to get this up. It's still taking me a bit to write because of my arm and for the past few weeks I've found time to write very scarce. I am not abandoning it nor forgetting it. Even if I only write a few sentences a day…well I write what I can…but I do apologize for those who are reading it.

Carter looked up at the tall building quite sure that this is where the Huntress was living. One of his pack had come across her scent a couple of days ago but had been unsure and Carter could see what she had meant. Her scent, though still her own, was slightly different. Something was off. He didn't like having something else sneak up on him like that. After all it could be something magical and if he went at it alone he could end up in the ground like his lost brothers and sisters.

At that moment all was confirmed as he saw her exit the building. He inhaled sharply and moved further back in hopes that his cover had not been blown. He watched as she looked around obviously aware that there was someone else there before she stepped forward and called a cab. He waited for the cab to completely disappear before he relinquished his spot.

She was here. She was fine and living her life just fine while he had suffered loss at her hands. He had lost close friends. Sighing he turned and began to head back to his place. It wasn't as grand as he would have liked but it was something that wouldn't stick out and alert others that he was there. Crossing into the city he had immediately smelled another pack which meant he was in their territory. Normally if that was the case he would go right to the alpha and speak to them about his reasons but he didn't want to submit to another alpha. Not yet at least. Not if he didn't have to.

Carter figured he could always ask Georgina since she knew this area but at the same time he didn't completely trust her. He knew that she was in it for herself and so anything he had to ask from her he had to fully consider every angle and try to cover as much as he could. If he didn't she could completely gain control of the whole situation.

Before he made it into his place he glanced up and realized that the full moon was two nights away which meant that tomorrow they would be changing. After he closed his door he maintained from rolling his eyes, "What do you want Georgina?"

"I've been waiting for you and none of your wolves would tell me where you went."

"I'm here now."

She raised an eyebrow, "You seem…resigned."

"I am. I want to be able to move forward and take care of the problem."

"Something tells me there is more to it than that."

"Really? And why would you think that?"

"You moved your entire pack up here. Just to follow a Huntress," she moved in front of him and ran her finger down his cheek, "I don't think so. I think that you want more than just to end her life."

He was looking into her eyes so he felt her finger slowly move down his chest before he grabbed her arm, "And what's that?"

"Something very simple and yet quite complicated in achieving. It's something which you will give you much more satisfaction."

"And that would be?"

"Revenge."

"I just want her to die. That's all."

Georgina tilted her head studying him, "No. That's not true." She began walking around him. When she stopped behind him he stiffened his senses telling him to turn immediately. She placed her hand on his shoulder, "What happened to your pack? How many did she slaughter mercilessly? How many mates were separated? How many child left orphans?"

Carter could feel that pull that he had pushed deep inside him when he first heard of the slaughter come to the front. Had she been in front of him at that moment he didn't doubt that there would be no recognizable corpse. Instead he had time to think and he shoved this part inside of him and focused on the task at hand and that was to rid the world of one more Huntress. Now with Georgina bringing back all of his previous feelings he didn't think he could go back to that. She had ruined so many lives so why shouldn't he ruin her life? Cause hers to be in complete ruin before he took her and kept her in a room with him so when he changed she would die. The thoughts were feeding the animal in him and he relished the extra strength the wolf gave him.

He turned around and saw the Sorceress's eyes sparkle with delight at the murder he was sure was in his. He grinned, "Let's not waste any time."

Blair woke up to the bed moving. She sat up quickly and looked around; Serena was sitting on the bed, "Hey, I figured you'd want to wake up sooner rather than later. Get ready for brunch and all that."

Smiling Blair nodding, "Thanks. Sorry I feel asleep so early."

"Don't worry about it. We have all day today!" Serena threw a pillow at Blair, "Now get up."

The brunette got out of bed and went to Serena's bathroom. After taking a shower and getting dressed she headed out to the main room. Serena was eating a strawberry but stopped after swallowing her first bite, "Sorry…you were still in the shower and Mom's not here yet. I got hungry."

Blair smiled, "It's not a big deal." She went over to the table, "Lily shouldn't be that much longer right?"

"No. She was talking to Eric."

"He's not here?"

"No. He's still in Europe. His plane was delayed."

The brunette nodded, "I see."

"Blair!" Blair turned to the blonde woman who was descending the stairs with a smile on her face. Once in the kitchen she hugged Blair, "I'm so glad you were able to come over." She moved away and looked at Blair, "I am truly sorry about your Mother and sorry that I couldn't be there for you."

"Thank you. It's fine. I was able to take care of things but I appreciate it."

She smiled again and then looked over at Serena before gesturing to the table, "Shall we sit?"

They all sat down and after putting a scone and some fruit on her plate Serena spoke up, "Blair and I are going to go shopping after brunch."

"That sounds like a wonderful idea." Lily took a sip from her glass and looked at Blair, "I hope things are well with transitioning into your Mother's company."

"Things are a bit…different but nothing I hadn't been already prepared for." Blair thought about Chuck and wondered how close he was with Serena and Lily seeing as he wasn't even here. Though she wondered about it she wasn't going to bring it up that would cause anyone to think about the fact that he hadn't left her thoughts since the first time she had seen him. She wished there was something she could do to banish him from her thoughts but since nothing had worked she decided that keeping her particular thoughts and perhaps feelings under lock and key would be the best way.

"Those things do tend to happen when stepping up into a position; still you will do well I'm sure."

"Thank you Lily."

They talked a bit more about some events coming up when Lily's phone rang. She looked at it and sighed, "If you'll excuse me I have to take this." She stood up, "you girls have a wonderful time shopping." And she took her phone and left.

Serena watched her Mother leave, "I wonder who that was."

"Don't worry about it. I'm sure it's nothing."

"You're probably right. So shall we get ready and leave?"

"Yes."

It didn't take Serena and Blair too long to finish as they were mostly done before hand. They went to many different stores and tried on different dresses, shirts, skirts and shoes. The day moved quickly and soon they realized as they sat down to eat that it was already four in the afternoon. Blair sipped her drink before looking back at Serena, "I haven't done this much shopping since I was last here."

"Then you were definitely missing out. I know I've already stated this but…I am glad you're here even though you came because of your Mother's death."

Blair shrugged, "its fine Serena. I mourned her. I'm fine. I'm more than fine."

"Okay. I just…want to make sure you're fine that's all."

"I know. I appreciate it. I just…I don't want to continue talking about it. It's much better to move forward."

Serena smiled, "I agree. So I know that it's already 4:30 but maybe we can go somewhere else."

Blair froze as she realized the time. That meant the sun would be setting very soon. Shaking her head Blair sighed, "I need to get back home. I have some things to look over for work and I want to get a good night sleep before going back in tomorrow."

"Can't you wait for a few hours? We could have an early dinner? Or something?"

"I would love to Serena but I really need to do this."

A frown appeared on her friend's face before she replied, "Alright. Perhaps another night?"

"Of course."

Together the two left and Serena headed back to her place while Blair hurried home. By the time she got in it was a little after five.

"Finally! I've been worried about you. I called and you didn't answer."

"Why would I answer if I was coming here and it would take time to answer taking away from me getting here?"

Dan shook his head, "Right. So where were you?"

"I was out with Serena." She had the door man place her bags in the hall before he left.

As soon as the elevator shut Dan looked back at Blair, "It's almost sunset."

"I know it is. And I'm here. Don't make a big deal about it." And with that Blair went up the stairs to her room. She looked in her closet for one of her outfits she wore when she would go out hunting. It was comfortable and easy to move in but it was also something that she didn't mind appearing in front of other people in. And she knew that it was especially important here seeing as there were many more people around especially those who enjoyed the night life. She pulled on some dark leggings and then pulled out a midnight blue top which flared out slightly giving more of an appearance of a dress. After that she pulled her hair in a simple braid. Then she grabbed a couple of silver stakes and placed them in her purse. She looked in the mirror and after she felt satisfied enough she turned and left.

Once it was dark and the moon had ample time to awaken the creatures Blair stepped outside into the night. Taking a deep breath she purged herself of all her thoughts including Dan, Serena, Eleanor, the store and most importantly Chuck. That was one distraction that could end up being her downfall. Letting all the thoughts go she moved forwards down the sidewalk.

There was a distinct chance that she could run into no wolves however she highly doubted that was the case. The call of the moon had beckoned the creature that lay ever present just below the surface and considering it was mostly locked away for a good majority of the time she didn't think that it would not take the chance to come out and play.

In the town she and Dan had just come from nightlife was not too big. Of course it was smaller and so rumors were more to abound and more people were suspicious. Here though odds of that happening were very slim and as she continued down the street seeing more people leaving their homes dressed up for dates, clubs and parties she knew that it might very well be a long night.

Blair spent a bit of time walking around before she headed to the rather large park that held many trees and was a prime spot in which wolves might find themselves. She wasn't quite sure how more rumors of wolves running around hadn't spread in this size of a city. Unless they had a certain location which kept them away from others however she wouldn't know for a bit if that was true and then it was a matter of finding out more in regards to that.

Sighing she stopped by a tree and stood there listening. Tonight might be for naught. She could be out here all night and just waste a perfectly good night sleeping. It was at that moment when a scream could be heard from a little ways away. Turning towards it she raced through the trees hoping to get there before something were to happen to the owner of that.

The screaming stopped and Blair stopped and slowly began moving in the direction it had come from. As she moved further she heard growling and a girl pleading. Blair peaked out from behind a tree and saw that a girl was kneeling on the ground her saying over and over, "please….please stop…please don't." Across from her and to the left of Blair was a wolf with his paw on the body of a young man who must have been this girls' date. Blair silently moved towards the girl and stepped out from the trees.

When Blair touched her on the shoulder the startled girl screamed. Blair covered her mouth, "I'm not going to hurt you. You need to get out of here."

"But Ethan…"

"I'll wait here. You go and call for someone. Where's your phone?"

"I…I dropped it."

Nodding Blair pulled the girl to her feet with both of them still facing the wolf that was watching Blair with sudden interest. Blair wasn't sure what to make of this but instead focused on getting the girl out, "Go and call. It'll be fine."

The girl ran off and Blair watched as the wolf continued watching Blair. She wasn't quite sure why it was so intent on her when the boy was right in front of him. She pulled out one of the stakes and held it in her hand as she stepped closer to the wolf causing it to growl at her. She continued staring at the wolf that had lowered itself closer to the ground. Blair waited knowing that odds were it was going to leap towards her. Just as the wolf let the ground Blair somersaulted away and quickly stood up again turning around quickly so the wolf didn't have her back.

The wolf growled and this time began pacing slowly to the right to which Blair responded by moving slowly to the left. After a few more steps Blair was right next to the boy without taking her eyes off the wolf she slowly moved forward stepping over the boy hoping that he wasn't dead or bitten. This time the wolf lunged forward and Blair moved to the side and stuck the stake into the side of the wolf until she was sure it had to have hit the heart. The wolf whimpered as it fell down with a thud. Blair pulled her arm back and watched the wolf making sure it didn't get up.

After a couple of minutes in which she was satisfied she turned around and moved to the boy checking him over. She realized that there were no marks on him and he was breathing so he would be okay. She stood up and listened intently in the night air waiting until she heard the sirens which meant the girl got out and was able to get the proper authorities. This also meant she had to take off before she was found. She just hoped the girl didn't say anything.

Moving quickly Blair exited the trees wrapping the stake up in a handkerchief and putting it away out of the sight of bystanders. Her hand had some blood on it and so she knew that she would have to get back to her apartment fast so no one would stop her and see the blood. Though she didn't know everyone ad had only been there a while she knew that it was too risky to stay out right now. Had that girl not been there Blair could have continued with her night but if the police were alerted to a girl being in the area…Blair had no intention of going to jail for doing her job.

The brunette quickly made it to her apartment and went up the back way keeping her bloodied hand out of sight. She stepped into her apartment and moved to the kitchen sink. As she was washing it she heard someone come in behind her, "are you okay?'

Turning around she saw Dan standing a few feet from her worry evident on his face, "Yes."

"It's just you're home earlier than normal."

Blair finished cleaning her hand and then grabbed a towel to dry it. She then threw the towel into the laundry and went and sat down on one of the couches. Sighing she gestured to outside, "I was able to save a girl and boy however the police were called."

"Which one was conscious?"

"The girl. I don't think she will remember me. She was very shocked. And besides I think the police will be more worried about the fact that they have a dead wolf tonight but a human tomorrow."

"Blair I don't know. Perhaps you should bring me there and I can try to rearrange her memories."

"Dan the last time you tried to do that spell you ended up giving the person amnesia. I don't really think it's necessary anyways. I'm here and you can vouch for me."

He nodded. Then he gestured to her, "So…uh…I'm glad you're alright."

She raised an eyebrow, "Thank you. Is there something you are keeping from me?"

His eyes widened, "Me?"

"Dan."

Sighing he leaned forward, "Dad called me. Jenny had another vision."

"What about?"

"A huntress was getting tortured. A man had discovered that she was one and so he was torturing her. He was trying to find the Head Huntress. He was trying to find you. Or…well…is trying to find you."

She sighed, "I suppose she's dead?"

"Yes. Jenny watched her be killed."

"Well I'm sure she did not speak so there is nothing to worry about. And it'll be as though nothing happened."

"Blair we can't just pretend that there isn't a guy who's out there trying to find you. What would happen if he discovered who you are and killed you?"

Blair stood up, "I would stop him before that happens. And I don't see why we need to keep on about this. It's over and we can't do anything to stop it."

She started to leave and instead felt Dan's hand on her arm, "Blair, this…feels different." She turned around and he continued, "I mean sure Wolves and certain Sorcerers are out to kill Huntresses but this feels like it's on a whole new level. One where I'm not sure that we'll want to be on."

"Alright, then please enlighten me. It was a vision. Does she know the man?"

"No."

"Does she know where it happened?"

"No."

"Does she know the Huntress?"

"No."

"Does she know when it happened or if this is a vision of something yet to come?"

"No."

"So all I see is a bunch of information that will get us nowhere. Now if you don't mind I'm going to retire for the remainder of the night so that I can go to work and focus on that."

As she shook his arm off and headed up the stairs she could hear his sigh and knew that this was not something Dan was going to let go. And although he wouldn't let it go it was something that she did not need to think about especially considering what would be in the news come morning.
