Recap:

Have it your way cub, I'll protect you from ever having to kill humans again, but you've lost my respect. You chose to selfishly kill yourself and even me in the process then try to be strong enough to fight for your right to life. I will always be there for you cub. Shukaku whispered sadly as he licked away the blood from the unconscious child's face. The giant monster laid there curling his body to warm Gaara from the gust of wind coming from the broken windows while sadly watching him breath. The beast knew that Gaara was going to get strong, he had the power, but he was sensitive as most children were. He would have to do the hardest thing he'd ever done and cut off any communication with the child and let him deal with everything on his own. He wouldn't be able to comfort the child when he is taunted or when he is upset, he would only appear to him when he is real danger. I love you cub, but you have to grow strong.

Chapter 9:

Gaara shuddered at the sad sweet voice that reverberated in his mind as though surround sound had been installed full blast echoing endlessly in the darkened room. He sat silently as he watched himself as a five year old sleep on in silence, it was deceptively calm as the monster nuzzled him until the bright lights of early dawn caused the shit the to hit the fan.

"He's a monster"

"Look at what he's done"

"In the palace too"

"Kill him now, he's still asleep"

"Don't be stupid, look at what he's done to his own assassins"

The image faded as the image of Shukaku disappeared, the voices however got louder and angrier. There was a fading for mere seconds before Gaara came face to face with a cluster of angry faces that had included his estranged brother and sister and even his father. They faced him with disgust on their faces as an older villager trained under ANBU took him into their arms and teleported them to a damp darkened room.

"Where am I?" the small pathetic voice escaped the redhead as he was roughly dropped onto a metal chair aligned with spike all throughout the arm rests. He avoided them upon landing however the radiating pain coming from his spine told him he hadn't escape some bruising. Wincing the now five year old shook off the pain and focused on the darken figure pacing in the shadows inches from the chair.

"Gaara, why are you still here?" came the raspy voice as the figure stood stock still from their insistent pacing. They had yet to look at the child or even remove his mask, but Gaara immediately knew he was in danger. He felt as though he were stuck in the middle of a pit of poisonous snakes with only the clothes on his back for protection.

"I have nowhere else to go" Gaara innocently replied as he shifted uncomfortably from the chair, the air around him stung his lungs as the pungent smell of rotting corpses and bodily fluids wafted into the room. His eyes were finally adjusting to the lack of light only to see a giant python slither not a meter from his leg looking absolutely famished.

"Now, now child. We both know that is not the reason, you have enough power to destroy everyone in this village and the next. Why do you choose to stay and absorb the hits from lowly humans? Don't you want to rule the world?" The sickly hissing of the words the man uttered made the redhead's stomach drop in both the memory and in present day. The creepy voice seemed to mock him is their praise and threatened him all at once with knowledge of his strength.

"I don't want to rule, I want to exist in peace" Gaara glanced at his left only to find more snakes, most of which he recognized as poisonous and others were foreign. Swallowing the lump in his throat Gaara sighed and tried to get the creature in his head to talk to him. 'Shukaku please tell me what is going on. It's been a year now that you have been silent... please tell me. I need you' the young vampire begged as his eyes caught the sickly pale skin of the ANBU kidnapper.

"You surely know that you shouldn't exist, you're an abomination. A monster. You, dear child, have no chance of 'existing' in peace with other humans. What would you say to working with me to bringing down humanity and vampires together to their knees. We are different, we deserve to rule as superior beings." the wicked being slowly inched out of the shadows in slow almost graceful snake like movements, his mask inching off its perch on his face. An almost gleeful smirk emerged as he listened to the child's quickening breaths as anticipation and fear filled him.

"Who are you?" Gaara asked ignoring the questions being thrown at him. He was extremely uncomfortable as he felt himself inch further and further from his seat. Reigning in his fear and turning it to some semblance of bravery he used his powers to summon a dozen sand daggers all facing the snake like kidnapper.

"My name is Orochimaru, dear prince, and you must know by now that I'm not human, nor am I ANBU" The pale man's yellow slits bared down towards Gaara's sea green orbs, accenting his creepy supernaturally glowing eyes were purple splotches. Long dark hair hung like curtains about his face darkening the paleness and adding his own shadows to hide himself with.

"I can smell you, you're not vampire either. What are you?" Gaara sent his daggers inching closer to the snake like man and waited for a response. Every nerve in him fought with him to leave and never turn back, but he pushed it aside in favor of finding out what this man was.

"I was an experiment, I was an orphan in a far away village that had been plundered and murdered by vampires. I was the only one to survive so the vampire decided they had a specially plan for me. They tried to turn me into a different breed of vampire, but I was resistant to the tests. I became something completely different" Orochimaru smirked at him before staring fondly at the python that was slowly slithering his way. "I made sure those vampires never experimented again, only I can and have been doing them"

"If you're so strong why do you need me. I'm only five, I turn six in a week, what do I have to offer? " The young redhead stood and turned from the kidnapper trying to collect him thoughts. He shouldn't egg on the creature before him, but now he really felt out of his elements. Scanning the area he looked for any means of escape coming up empty save for the opening ten feet above him.

"Age has nothing to do with power, dear child" his flickering tongue had the child turn pale, he definitely wanted to leave now. "But interestingly enough you do have genetics that have come a long way. You're the last vampire from the Sabaku family and as far as I know you still hold the beast inside you." at the sinister wink Gaara flinched gathering his sand into a barrier between himself and the snakes.

"You're too late, Shukaku is gone. I haven't heard from him in a year and even so no one has been able to see him." the child reasoned fisted his hands tightly begging internally that he was wrong. Sure, the demon was a pain and the silent treatment was really pushing it, but he couldn't imagine being alone.

"Are you sure about that? The Akatsuki was pretty sure you still have it, then again they underestimated me before, I'm sure you wouldn't mind me checking" Confused and more than ready to get the hell out the five year old bolted to the spot under the entrance before being abruptly stopped. Willing desperately for his legs to move, he was crushed to find none of his limbs able to move.

'Shukaku, please, please help me. I need you. HELP!' Gaara pleaded within his mind as he felt Orochimaru inch towards him. The steps were purposefully slow dragging out his agonizing anxiety.

"Now where are you going in such a rush. No manners! Seeing as you go yourself caught in the trap I suppose you won't mind me extracting your Shukaku, will you?" smirking the pale creature moved behind the child holding a bottle he produced from one of the pockets in his vest. "This will definitely hurt, but don't worry you won't be able to do anything about it"

Present Gaara stared at the screen at the edge of his seat watching himself start to break into a sweat as the beginning prickles of tears stung the corner of his eyes. He glared at the elder vampire as he processed what he'd just said... the Akatsuki was involved? His mind swarmed with questions as he saw Orochimaru tilt his chin upwards and pried his lips apart. "NO" he cried before feeling the calming feel of a sandy tail wrap around his waist.

"Just watch the rest" came Shukaku's empty voice as he refused to give any more comfort than he had still angry with the younger vampire.

Turning his head towards the screen Gaara watched his younger self as his sea greens eyes released the first tear while rolling to the back of his head. From his mouth white foam formed chocking off his air supply and immediately his pale skin whitened into a sickly corpse color. Fearing that his body would die
Gaara stood trying to avoid the image. The tail however tightened its grip keeping him there with eyes still watching as his younger self was indeed dying.

"Should be done in a couple seconds" Orochimaru sighed theatrically as he motioned for something in the distant shadow to come forward. Soft chuckling came from the shadows before snow white hair peeked out followed by a pale teenager with bleak eyes and glasses that hid those onyx orbs.

"What is he's telling the truth, you'll have killed the last of the vampire line from the Sabaku family" the teenager stated with a bored tone as his gaze ran over the deathly child, he snarkily cooed at the child before staring at Orochimaru.

"One less vampire, Kabuto" Orochimaru grinned as his pupil smirked at his response until a rumble tore him from his humorous revelations. He turned away from Kabuto and watched as the child's body arched and a black mass came bundling with equally dark liquids oozing from him mouth.

Watching intensely at the view from a safe distance the snake like creature stared in awe as Shukaku's shape began to come into view. The giant took up most of the space left in the room. The snakes retreated into the cracks on the walls with every bit of energy they had trying to avoid the confrontation that was about to happen. As animals they were keenly attuned to the murderous furry boiling in the creature.

"And he makes his entrance" Orochimaru mused as he smiled at the giant sand raccoon with awe and a bit of fear. His eyes dilated as he felt the wave of power coming from the monster, reveling in the danger of being this close.

"Why have you brought me out" barked out the sand giant as he gingerly took the now completely unconscious child into his arms. Taking a tentative sniff of his vessel he growled placing the child on his back. "What have you done to my cub?"

"Just a bit of poison mixed with a side of my secret recipe, don't worry he'll be dead in no time. All of his suffering will be over" Orochimaru slyly nodded to Kabuto before the underling slowly moved back into the shadows.

"Cure him. NOW." with a beastly growl the monster circled Orochimaru as his true nature dictated, he sized up his prey. The scent was strange and foreign, but he could care less about what had poisoned his vessel. He surrounded the kidnapper in a wall of flaming sand and glared at the creature. "Why have you poisoned Gaara?"

"To bring you out, Shukaku, you are very hard to get through to. You've even given your vessel the silent treatment, not very nice of you" Frowning Orochimaru felt the tips of his long onyx hair burn, the smell creating a less than pleasant scent. Then pain followed as the flames began to lick at the cloth on his legs and feathering light pricks onto sickly pale skin. "Your 'cub' can only be saved by you, but I can't tell you if you turn me into a human...err well a flame." He grimaced at his failure at a joke.

Shukaku glanced at the creature, he felt the already slow heartbeat with Gaara slow even more. Thinking rationally he decided not to kill Orochimaru.. not yet at least. He felt the child slouch even more onto his side and shifted subtly before glancing at the creature before him with more patience."How can I save him?"

"You come with us and we inject him with this serum, he lives and we get to do experiments on you" came Kabuto's soft yet cynically calculating voice. He stood at the other side of the room hold a syringe filled with a horrible looking green elixir. "If you don't comply I drop this, he dies and you in turn die with him"

"Fine" Shukaku bristled as he lowered him shoulders so that the child you gently slide off into the now freed Orochimaru's arms. "I will comply, but you first heal him" Shukaku growled out earning a worried nod from Kabuto who injected the child with the serum.

"To make sure you stay, we will give him the other three syringes progressively to make sure you're compliant." Orochimaru smirked as he roughly shoved the child onto a cot. He watched as Shukaku's piercing eyes narrowed helpless to help Gaara.

Present Gaara stared at Shukaku as he stopped watching the screen, he heard the loud growls and howls of pain emitted from the screen. Color faded as he fought to hold back his tears at how horrible he felt. He knew tears wouldn't erase the memory from Shukaku's mind, the torture was very much real and as Shukaku kept watching it he grimaced at some parts. Sorry wouldn't even begin to cover the requirements to pay back his protector.

The screen blinked as the last of the screams stopped, the image warped into that of the cliff in Suna where he had tried to off himself . Gaara remembered this day very clearly, it had been one of his only single standing memory that had resurfaced after seeing Sasori again. In his dreams he'd seen this scene over and over again. He felt his pain, he utter hatred for himself and the aching emptiness of having Shukaku silent. He understood why he hadn't come, he wouldn't either if he'd been this weak.

Gaara frowned when he came to the part when Sasori said "Promise me you won't try to kill yourself. No matter how bad it gets live on. If it makes you feel better keep the necklace, hold onto it for comfort in you want. Just promise me you'll never do that again."

Anger flared at Gaara as he watched his awe and innocent trust towards the other vampire, he felt betrayed. He want to jump into the screen and rip the bracelet from his hands in the past and thrust it back into the maroon eyed puppeteer's face. He wanted to go back and destroy the vampire, but couldn't. He watched Sasori's face on the screen and let out a heavy sigh. He didn't know what he was doing there, the elder vampire was watching the younger redhead with innocent concern, his face was contorted into a relax smile when Gaara accepted the necklace. Suddenly the burn of betrayal became soothed as he looked into relieved eyes that looked happy to have him consider him.

Together with his old self Gaara muttered a sad whisper "I promise" and his chipper younger self disappeared out of the cliff. Although he was still sore, Gaara could feel that his hatred for his master would one day die out, but for now that numbness was still a bitter feeling for him.

The screen fizzled out the image of an angry mob, he wasn't in Suna anymore. It was an odd village filled with many different people and beside him stood a scared looking blonde keep about the age of ten. He had whisper- like scratches on his face as well as electric blue eyes. He was cowering behind a rather large boulder making hand motions for the redhead to follow him.

It was too late however, the crowds were before him now holding torches to aide them in seeing in the twilight gloom, others held only sharpened tools or religious relics. None of the civilians looked friendly, even the children younger than Gaara there had scowls and glares aimed at him trying to hurt him. Confused the younger redhead in the screen merely stood his ground and glared his own brand at the towns people.

"Leave Konoha, you disgusting vampire. Take the other vampire with you, Naruto means nothing to us, take him away. You are filth and we want nothing to do with your disease." An angry looking man with a stupid looking headpiece and long flowing white hair growled out. Beside him stood a giant toad with narrowed eyes that were aimed at the boulder beside him.

"What gives you the right to judge what is good or bad or even what is considered filth. We haven't provoked you and have not fed on you, we have not spread disease nor have disrupted your daily routines." Gaara spoke to the townspeople in a loud clear voice void of emotion as sea green eyes scanned the crowd. He raised his hairless eyebrows at the strange motions the tiny blonde was making, he raised his forearms crossed and his head was shaking left to right.

"You are filth and you've disrupted our lives by being here, leave and take the Uzumaki and if you find him the Uchiha vamp with you. We don't need you here" The elder man smirked as he heard the distinct mumbles and shouts of agreements.

"Well then Jiraiya, have it your way, however don't think it's because I give a damn about you not wanting us here. You are a coward, you fear us even though we've done nothing to provoke you. Naruto has been defending this land for years with Kyubi... err Kurama, for years, without him you'd all be dead" Gaara huffed as he felt the telltale signs of weapons being aimed at him and the fear radiating off of some of the townspeople.

Sitting there on the darkened room Gaara stared at the screen in confusion. "Naruto? I've never seen him before, how is it I recognize him in my memories?" Eye stuck onto the images the young vampire missed the amused smirk Shukaku gave as he stared at him.

"Gaara, just stop" Naruto whispered as he heard the bushes behind him rustle turning to it quickly. He was meant with angry looking obsidian eyes that practically threatened to castrate him if he made any sound to acknowledge the new comer. "Please, just let it go"

"Coward?" Jiraiya's boisterous laughter shook the ground as he glared at the young redhead not fifteen feet before him. "You think we don't know about the boy's nightly hunts and his little schemes, we are the ones that clean up after him and hide the bodies. We're done, we don't need little wannabe heroes and we don't need vampires. GET. OUT."

Screams rang through the air as smoke filled the wide expanse of forest they were currently in.

Blasts went off a distance away as portions of the faces carved onto the mountains took their heavenly plunge onto the town. Pained groans and shouts of fear were too loud that the rapid orders the town's leader barked went ignored. Weapons soared into the sky, some aimed at the redhead (who swiftly blocked with his sand) and others landed behind them at the dark shadows that were rapidly descending onto the hysterical crowd.

"Take out the vampires, left flank take out the Hokage and right flank deals with ANBU" the smoke cleared enough to reveal a swarm of strangely dressed people wearing black and white. Most had dark skin, darker that Gaara had ever seen and eyes darker than even the Uchiha's. To his right Gaara held out a hand waving Sasuke to take this moment to get the weaken blonde out (now that present Gaara actually caught a looked he could see the blonde leaking from a darkening hole in his abdomen).

"Cloud village" Jiraiya yelled as he directed the giant toad to attack the people running about causing the chaos he was just mocking Naruto for stopping. The white haired leader attacked what looked like the rebel's leader with a sharp looking knife. Gaara just stood them watching the bloodshed cool as a cucumber, he ignored the pleads the villagers were shouting and didn't even bat an eye as weapons whirled his way.

A dark red eye glanced at the young vampire, it evaluated him, watched his disinterested demeanor and his frown. The other eye, a normal looking lazy dark gray color, squinted behind him in the direction Naruto and Sasuke had disappeared in. The adult male raised an eyebrow at Gaara's statuesque pose with his arms crossed defiantly before making his move. One moment he was still the next all that was seen was a silver mane prancing animalistically as scarlet began to paint the greenery of the forest. Coppery scent blew in the wind, scattering leaves masking the townspeople and children, but they refused to cover the intruders.

Behind him Gaara could see a single man, his skin darker than most in the village, however he wore their native clothes. He fought valiantly with another man about twice his bulk and much faster, he was bleeding from slashed on his arms and a serious looking laceration on his torso. Gaara didn't think much of him, he watched as the cloud village warrior narrowly missed slashing open the man's head, instead he managed to cut the hair band securing his high pony tail.

"Irukaaaa" a screech ripped through the continued feud between the two villages. Gaara ignored it as he began to turn back to the gray haired man, he was probably also a vampire (he was not going to ignore a possible threat for too long). He stopped half turned as a mess of bright blonde hair flashed in his peripheral vision immediately calling his attention back to the other direction.

"Naruto, get out" Gaara growled out as he grabbed his ever present necklace wishing for some much needed patience. The blonde didn't stop, instead he sped up using his abundance of energy (and his demon's as well) to make to the tanned man. Not far behind him was a very ticked off Sasuke sporting a bloodied nostril and a pair of scratch marks on his jaw.

"Iruka, just hang on." Naruto flung himself into the line of fire as the beefy opponent disarmed the lanky man, poised to take the brunt of the attack Gaara saw red. Without a thought sand exploded from the ground shooting up on every spot underneath the cloud villains, surprised and genuinely terrified at being tossed thirty feet in the air they all yelped pathetically. The sword previously aimed at the tanned man landed with eerie silence next to the dumbfounded blonde.

"Get the hell out, Naruto. Take the human with you, but get the FUCK out" Gaara warned as he growled furious at the blonde. Something stirred inside him, something foreign that seemed to mesh every bit of emotion he refused to show. Groaning Gaara felt himself warm up, it radiated and flowed with his blood heating every artery, every vessel until his heart burned. "GET OUT" the redhead roared as his eyes began to darken is vision and pure energy filled his muscles with ridiculous strength.

"Kakashi, don't be a hero. Let Gaara have his tantrum, help me with Iruka and Naruto" Sasuke calmly ordered as the gray haired man slowly advanced towards the bent over vampire. The Uchiha grimaced at Naruto's dead weight on his back, but he endured seeing as the stupid blonde twisted his ankle during his suicide hero act. Hesitantly the red eye was covered with a cloth as the elder man walked over to the passed out brunette, he swung the unconscious body over his shoulder before hauling ass into the forest.

"We can't leave him" Naruto moaned as his leg was jerked causing pain to radiate up his ankle. Wincing he tried to turn his body to get a look at his friend. "He's losing himself, Sasuke, you know what happens when we start to.." Sasuke cut his please with an exasperated sigh.

"Enough, we both know what will happen. What are we supposed to do, are you going to get Kyubi to settle the brat down, because nothing short of his master will be able to calm him down." Sasuke cursed as he saw the redhead direct a heated glare at him, turning he send extra energy to his feet to quicken his steps. "He still doesn't even know he has a master, how the hell are we supposed to help him?"

"Sasuke- Teme, stop" His cried echoed as the Uchiha finally set off following a similar path that Kakashi had gone off on. Throwing his body backwards he tried to get the elder vampire to backtrack, but instead he found his body pressed even closer to the Uchiha's back.

"I said stop" the voice was icy deep with a commanding tone that had the blonde stop in his thrashing, his light blue eyes stunned. "I didn't want to do this so soon, but you're not listening to my suggestions. I order you to stop thrashing and to shut up, Dobe." Coal eyes narrowed as a chocked gasp was emitted, he'd hate himself later for the order, but he needed to get the boy to safety.

Upon seeing the last two leave Gaara allowed his self control to crumble, he no longer cared if there were casualties or the consequences. Everyone he cared for was gone and only the humans and their petty hatred was left. 'If they want to see a filthy monster, then I'll give them exactly what they want' Gaara left out a howl as sand encased his skin acting as an armor adhering tightly to his epidermis. The burning subsided, however, the heat was replaced by pain as his bones bended and cracked into place.

"Am I strong now Shukaku?" Gaara cackled as he lifted his enormous sand encased arm and slammed it down ruthlessly on an unconscious cloud rebel. Smiling as the woman had no chance to scream, but he was satisfied by the feel of bones crushed under the force and the warm delicious liquids that violently coated him. Smirking he lifted his hand again and looked over at his many choices, all ripe for the picking.

'How do I choose, how do I choose?' Gaara gleefully spotted long locks of white and smelled the scent of fried frog, the disgusting slime machine got what it deserved. "Well, oh well, look at what's happened to the once big bad leader of Konoha." Gaara taunted as he lifted the elderly man by the back of his cloak "Not so scary and tuff anymore are you, you're never going to scare me" He lifted the man up and smiled as he chucked the man at a nearby tree. He watched as the tree broke into pieces masking the sound of broken bones, but the blood loss that assaulted Gaara's nose ensured the death of the leader.

Next Gaara looked at the Cloud leader, he had no real beef with this man, however he'd ordered his assassins to attack him. Nothing personal, it's just only the strong survive and in order to ensure that he'd live longer this leader just had to go. Grabbing a muscular dark colored leg the young vampire lifted the leader up watching the unconsciously serene face, looking for a weapon he spotted the boulder Naruto had been hiding behind. "This is for my injured friend, you messed with the wrong vampires" Gaara flexed his arm and used the leaders body as a human club and went to town on the damn boulder. With each swing a wild bit of satisfaction crept into his soul.

'For all those years of torture, pay back sure is a bitch, isn't it?'

The red head disposed of the bloody pulp noticing the lack of a head and a left arm. He huffed as he went in search for another toy to play with, he looked this time at the scattered bodies laying in the forest. Eyes sliding about faces and judging them, he recognized a bunch of them as the people throwing weapons. He saw one child in particular that had been even nastier than all the other kids, with sick satisfaction the mad vampire slowly and purposefully lifted the child by the scruff in the back of his neck.

"You should always be nice to people, because you never know when the bully becomes the bullied... or better yet the next corpse"

Present Gaara had gone white as a ghost after watching the first of his mad murders, he was appalled by his lack of sanity. His eyes were dark with mal intent, much worse than that creep, Orochimaru, which only served to add onto his disgust. "Stop" he whispered to himself, he wanted so badly to reach out and smack some sense into the younger redhead in the screen. He was about to murder an innocent kid, he didn't know any better! What was he supposed to do when he has been conditioned to hate and mistreat vampires, there was no reason to kill the impressionable child.

"STOP. DON'T" Gaara yelled ignoring the fact that no one would answer and his memories would probably show that he had done what he was planning on doing the whole time.

Shukaku held his breath as he stared at the eyes that had made him extremely worried all those years ago. He had felt the heat of madness and anger that day, but held fast to his promise not to just to his cub's every beckoning calls. He watched as one by one he'd drenched his hands in more blood, he defiled the bond that he had with his master. The bind was being tainted with anger, with murder and pieces of his vessel's soul were dying with every life he took.

Just as Shukaku lost hope in the redhead and bowed his head in defeat he felt a pull coming from
Gaara's very soul. The young vampire ignored the pull, too busy thinking of the best way to get revenge for every moment he'd been mistreated since his arrival.

"Gaara, you can't keep going this" came a stoic voice from inside his mind, a hint of worry marked the voice as familiar.

"Make me" The redhead chuckled as he decided to just use the child as a human football and place the child on the floor, he moved back a couple steps until he was satisfied with the distance.

"Enough, stop this NOW" the necklace he wore around his neck glowed as the red sand shook insistently in the pendant. A huge pressure grew as he fought to keep control, he wanted revenge after all. "Gaara forget this moment, forget the slaughters and forget the events that led up to this. I order you to sleep, when you wake up, you will be back in Suna, Shukaku will take you there. You will never kill a human again by your hands" came the saddened order, the voice faded away and Gaara became more lucid.

The haze he'd been under came thundering down as realization cracked down. The redhead could finally see what everyone was talking about, he was a monster, he was the very thing he denied ever being. His eyelids felt heavy and the burning faded, ice, the cold isolation and no consolation of him being ever forgiven. Sea green orbs blinked as scarlet filled his view.

" My poor cub"

Gaara shifted uncomfortably in his seat as the screen died, he waited for anymore memories to resurface, but found nothing playing.

"Now you know" came the cold growl as Shukaku left his side. The young vampire felt foolish and as though he were a spoiled brat. Groaning he place his hands over his face and took a few steadying breaths before figuring out what to do next. For one he should make amends to Shukaku and prove himself strong, and then he had to apologize to Sasori. He was wrong and he saw exactly how much he's been wrong and how much he need the puppeteer. Steeling himself for one of the hardest (and only real) decision he's ever made Gaara let himself feel out the real, physical world.

"Gaara, Gaara are you okay? Answer me." Sasori's worried tone met him, his eyes still lidded from the heavy drowsiness he felt. He tried to push against it, but fell short so instead he used his voice.

"You really need to stop worrying so much"

A/N: . ! Sorry guys, I was supposed to get this up a couple days ago, however, I have been having a rough couple of days. I got car sick on Sunday (first time since a decade ago), then my spiders disappeared and I had my whole hand swell from several mosquito bites, then my cat, Russiacat, wouldn't leave me alone and I procrastinated on getting my visa until today... SIGH~... It's been difficult. Anyway enough of my ranting, I made this much longer than usual to make up for the lateness. Enjoy, because I probably won't have time to upload again before I leave for Paraguay. BYE! ~TheRussianGaaraKid out!~

PS- Thank you VampireDoll666 for always commenting, I love reading them.

PPS- I watched the movie Mama and loved it, it wasn't scary or over suspenseful, but I liked the idea. I wish I could create something as cool.
