In reference to the title, this chapter is supposed to be imperfect. It's so imperfect I didn't even proofread or use spell check. Why? Well, nobody is perfect, not the characters, me, anything...I didn't even write a real ending. I had to write something that filled in the space between this chapter and the next (which I wrote waaaaaaaay before I even finished 'DPAYDEION' or the last chapter...) I'm posting 'Boys' right after I finish posting this one...
So enjoy the filler!
Inky: Disclaimer -_-"
You could've been more detailed!
Imperfect
Blinky and Glooky laughed as they recalled a previous memory dating before they knew Pac-Man. "Yeah, and remember when she-.." The red ghost couldn't even get the rest of his sentence out as he fell into a laughing fit, but his friend knew exactly what he was talking about. "Oh man, those were good times." Glooky sighed. "Until Pac-Man came along...When do you think Lord B is actually gonna let us invade after he wipes out the little lemon nuisance?"
Blinky looked taken aback, until he remembered Glooky wasn't on the Pac-Worlders side. "I don't know Glooky..." He muttered.
Not too far from the two ghosts, Inky and Winky were attempting to pry a dragon's mouth open.
"Come on Nozzle! You have to open your mouth if you want us to help!" Winky whined.
Inky groaned. "What is up with this dragon?!"
"I dunno, Carrie says that this dragon swallowed something and broke a tooth. It's my job to make sure the dragons are healthy...Grr...Nozzle! Open up!"
The dragon lifted her head and blew fire at the two. Inky shoved Winky out of the way just in the nick of time.
"She seems a little mad right now, let's not mess with her." Inky implored.
"Inky, I have to-" she was cut off when the dragon blew a second range of fire. "Alright let's go!" She and the blue ghost fled from the scene until they accidentally bumped into Blinky and Glooky.
Winky blushed. "Oh, I'm so sorry, Blinky! We were just trying to escape being scorched..."
Blinky dusted himself off and nodded. "It's fine, but next time try to not run us over."
"What's with the dragon?" Glooky asked just as Nozzle fell into a stoney sleep.
Winky sighed. "I dunno...she's being unresponsive to my attempts to help her."
"Why doesn't her trainer take care of it?" Blinky asked crossing his arms.
Winky looked down at the ground. "Well, usually whenever a dragon is hurt or sick they're more reluctant to receive help from their trainers..."
Inky scoffed. "Your dragons aren't 'more reluctant' with anything!"
Winky nodded. "No one takes better care of dragons than me, so of course my dragons actually like and trust me...However some ghosts don't understand the bond between a dragon and their trainer." (A/N: I so wanted to put Pokèmon and their trainer instead XD)
"So I guess friendliness towards dragons count for everything?" Glooky asked.
Winky smiled of course. "Which is why I'm going to give Nozzle her space and try a different attempt later. In the mean time, I think I'm gonna go find Mavis and ask her is she needs any help."
Inky shrugged. "I'll meet up with you later, Clyde and Pinky are there if you need any help."
Winky nodded respectfully. "Thanks for helping, Inky."
"I cannot believe she actually went there with me. I was all like, 'Excuse me? Do you know who I am?'."
Pinky laughed. "Oh wow Mavis, you must've given her a run for her slime."
"You know it Pinky." The two ghouls were swapping tales as Clyde drifted behind them lazily. "Pinky, remind me why I'm going to this thing with you again?"
Pinky huffed. "Because Winky is too busy working, and she was supposed to come with my and Mavis. And since my other more annoying brothers wouldn't bother to take her place, you were kind enough to step up."
Clyde shrugged. "Fair enough."
Just as Pinky turned back to Mavis, another ghost made her presence known. "Hi Pinky." The purple ghost cheered.
"Winky? I thought you were working with your dragons?"
Winky nodded. "I was, but now I'm taking a break from responsibility to make an attempt at figuring out how to deal with her."
Mavis smiled. "Well you made it just in time. We were about to go to see, To Pac-World and Beyond!"
"You can go now, Clyde." Pinky waved away her brother.
"Well now that I know what we're seeing, there's no way I'm leaving now!" Clyde chimed happily.
Pinky glared at her brother, who initially took the hint and left.
"Alright, bye Pinky, Mavis, and Winky."
The other girls bid Clyde goodbye as Pinky held her glare. "Now who's ready to see that movie?" Pinky asked her friends.
"Ooh me!" Mavis and Winky chimed.
After leaving the movie, the girls were cradling each other while weeping.
Pinky was the first to speak. "Winky why are you crying?"
"It's horrible how his dreams of making it to Pac-World never came true before he was vaporized!" Winky cried.
Mavis hiccuped as her tear flow slowed. "I'm crying b-because his friends were all eaten by that monstrous Pac-Man!" She shivered.
Pinky stopped her tears and fumed. "Hey my-" Winky cut her off and gave her a look.
Pinky rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Yeah, that Pac-Man sure was something..." She sighed.
Mavis wiped her eyes and checked her invisible watch. "Uh oh! I better get back to work! Betrayus has a three o'clock appointment!"
When the ghoul left, Pinky turned to Winky. "Can you believe her?! Calling my Paccy-poo...'monstrous'!"
Winky shook her head. "Pinky, our friends don't know about our alliance with Pac, and if they did I don't think they would call us their friends anymore..."
Pinky sighed. "You're right..."
A second later, Inky, Blinky, and Clyde left the same theatre in the same distraught state as the girls.
At first Pinky was about get onto them about following her and her friends, until he realized they were crying. "Are you crying?!" She asked completely astounded.
"N-no." Inky sniffled.
"And if we were, they're 'man-tears', and only a man can cry man-tears." Blinky added blowing his nose in a handkerchief.
Clyde couldn't help but cry even more, splitting in half even.
Winky and Pinky exchanged looks before bursting out in laughter. "M-man tears?" Winky uttered.
"Okay...suuuuuurrrrrreeee." Pinky stretched teasingly.
Winky sighed tryin roger over her laughing bout. "Oh come on, Pinky. I think it's kind of manly to cry at movies. You'd have to be cold and heartless not to." She added.
Inky smiled. "Wow, thanks Winky."
The purple ghost smiled. "Any time Inky."
Pinky clapped. "We should go see it again."
The other made small remarks in agreeable as they entered the theatre once again.
How was that? Not too bad? At least we know how difficult Winky's life got after she got her new job...At least a taste of it...And indeed I made an error in Mavis' name...it's is not Meibus...it's Mavis...and in the next chapter you will indeed find out what she meant by 'Betrayus' three o'clock appointment'...I'm sorry if it seemed rushed I'm just wigging out because of all these Benchmark Tests...-_-" 10th grade bites lava bubbles DX...Anyway hope you are well...In future reference I am not going to write an introductory for my he next chapter sorry...Love you guys anyway! Thanks for reading!
