Author's Note: It hasn't been too long since I last updated which is a good thing. I'm going to try to update every other day so that I will have this done by the end of June. I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans.

Jinx and Kid Flash were well known throughout Keystone City because of their jobs as heroes. They often were stopped when walking around town for autographs and pictures. Kid Flash didn't seem to mind too much, but Jinx was a different story. She could tolerate some attention, but after an extended period of time she would usually grow agitated and impatient.

Jinx and Kid Flash had been alerted that there was a bank robbery in progress and the criminals had some high tech weapons which worried the police force about the safety of the public. A crowd had gathered around the boundaries set by the police around the bank as they waited for the young heroes to apprehend the criminals.

"Try to trip them, and I'll take care of the rest." Kid Flash instructed Jinx as he started to do his part of the plan.

"Got it," Jinx answered as she waved her hands which caused the thieves to trip which gave Kid Flash enough time to grab their weapons.

Kid Flash zoomed around the bank as he grabbed the weapons, and gave them to Jinx for her to destroy them. He then tied all the men up with some rope so that he could give them to the police. Jinx threw a hex at the pile of weapons, and they all melted.

"Let's go deal with the paparazzi now." Jinx growled because of the unwanted attention she was about to get as soon as she walked out the door.

"They're not that bad." The red haired boy commented as she ran out to hand over the crooks.

Jinx walked outside, and she was immediately swarmed by reporters asking how hard it was to take down the bad guys and other stuff like that. Like the good girl she was, she answered all of the questions that were thrown her way. Her partner, on the other hand, loved all of the attention, and that annoyed her even more. Why was he so happy all of the time?

"Do you have any plans on helping the unfortunate this Christmas season?" asked a reporter which caught the pink haired girl off guard.

"I hadn't originally thought of it seeing as how this is my first Christmas season as a hero. I would be glad to help out in a way I can though." Jinx replied as honestly as she could.

The crowd eventually diminished and left. Soon the streets were vacant save for a few pedestrians. As the sorceress and the speedster were about to leave they heard someone calling them.

"Mr. Kid Flash and Ms. Jinx?" called out a little boy.

"What can we do for you kiddo?" Kid Flash asked the younger boy.

"My name is Jack, and I wanted you to come to my house and surprise my little sister and brother." Jack answered.

"Why aren't you with your family?" asked Jinx.

"I snuck outside the house so that I could ask you guys." Jack replied innocently.

"We can stay for only a little bit." Jinx sighed.

Jack showed the two the way to his house. They ended up at a small house that was a few minutes away from the scene of the crime they had just stopped. Jack opened the door, and the two teens followed him inside.

"Jack!" Jack's mother cried out.

"Look who I found mommy." Jack announced proudly as his mother saw the two heroes standing behind him.

"Thank you for bringing my son home." Jack's mom said as she sat in a chair.

"He wanted to surprise his little brother and sister?" Jinx stated a little bit confused.

"Oh you must mean Sarah and Tom," Jack's mom revealed with a sad smile, "They're both sick and he wanted to cheer them up, but times have been tough ever since my husband died."

The two younger children walked into the kitchen where Carrie (the children's mother), Jinx, and Kid Flash were seated. To say they were surprised was an understatement. They ran to the young heroes, and were bouncing up and down with joy.

"Jack brought us here to surprise you guys." Jinx said very sweetly.

"Let's play." Kid Flash suggested which caused the kids to start pulling him out of his seat.

The kids took them to the living room which would allow them more space to play. Jinx and Kid Flash watched as the kids brought out their toys and instructed them on how to play with dolls, action figures, cars, and dress up. Soon the two heroes were wiped out from all of the games that they played with the young kids. The hours seemed to pass by like seconds.

"You two are welcome to stay for dinner if you want." Carrie called out from the kitchen.

"We would be glad to stay." Jinx answered.

The young heroes ate dinner, and stayed for a little bit afterwards. When it was time for them to leave, the kids hugged them, and thanked them for spending the day with them. As the heroes walked outside the door they heard a little voice from the front door of the small house.

"Thank you for coming," Jack said, "This gave us something to smile about instead of being sad."

The two heroes smiled as they left the house that would stay with them for the rest of their lives. The little kids gave Jinx something that she didn't really have as a young child. Fun. She had never had so much fun before.

"I want to do that again." Jinx said quietly as she got onto her companion's back.

"Of course Slowpoke," Kid Flash smiled as he zipped off to their apartment, "Anything for that beautiful smile of yours."

Author's Note: I don't feel too good about this chapter. I kind of ventured off the path I wanted. I hope you still liked it though. Let me know in a review or PM. Those are always welcome
