Chapter 6
"Kurokocchi~ Are you okay?" Kise said. Kuroko didn't respond. "Kurokocchi?" Kise said yet again. No response. "KUROKOCCHI!?" Kise carefully picked him up. "SOMEONE CALL THE AMBULANCE!" Kise shouted. He sounded desperate. Kasamatsu facial expression changed. He felt sad, but once he heard how desperate Kise was, he decided to act.
~Kise x Kuroko~
"What happened to Kurokocchi?" Kise asked the doctor outside of Kuroko's room.
"I'm sorry. But he has been hurt badly and hasn't been treated for days. He then fainted from exhaustion and lack of nutrients." The doctor said.
"Is he okay?" Kise asked. All he want to know is that his Kurokocchi was okay.
"I-I'm sorry," the doctor said. "But he's in a coma."
Ten minutes later, Kise sat next to Kuroko's bed, gripping Kuroko's small hands. He watched Kuroko's face. In hope that the doctor was just kidding and that Kuroko would wake up any minute now. "Why did this have to happen?" Tears pricked his eyes. "Please, Kurokocchi. I need you. I-I want you to wake up. I want to tell you how much I love and cherish you." Kise paused and then nuzzled his face into Kuroko's hand. "Don't leave alone before we even share our feelings properly..."
~Kise x Kuroko~
In his deep slumber Kuroko dreamed. He dreamed of happy moments with his beloved Kise-kun. Like them running happily in the fields, but they were interrupted. He was then stuck in a cold dark room. He couldn't see and there was nowhere to go. Kise showed up right in front of him with the eyes of a maniac. He kept on muttering, "Tell me~" Kuroko was scared. He really did like Kise, but he was scared. HE was always scared. He was scared that Kise wouldn't take him back or just down right reject him. He was just scared. Kise with his voice sounding evil and extremely different from his normal voice continued to say the two words, shoving Kuroko around the cold room. Throwing Kuroko against the wall he shouted, "TELL ME!" Kuroko couldn't handle it anymore. He was scared. This is the kind of scared he feels whenever he wants to tell Kise. He just can't. There is always something holding him back. He squirmed and whimpered from where he was, lying. He couldn't take it anymore. He just cried...wishing that he had the courage to tell Kise how he felt before it was too late.
Kise heard the rustle of the sheets at first. And then he heard light and quiet whimpers. He looked up to Kuroko's face and his eyes grew wide. Kise could sense the feeling of distress emitting from Kuroko. Kuroko continued to whimper when tears streamed down his face. "Kuroko..." Kise whispered. Then Kise leaned into lightly hug Kuroko, "Don't worry, I'm here."
In Kuroko's mind Kasamatsu was the reason for the distress. Kuroko continue to wish that he had the courage to confess to Kise himself. In his mind, Kise disappeared only to be replaced by Kasamatsu. Kasamatsu stares darkly at him and menacingly says, "I will get to him before you do." And then the scene changes. They are outside, Kasamatsu with his arm over Kise teasing the blonde. The blonde was slightly crying because this captain just smacked him in the head because of whatever he did. Kuroko continue to watch. Then there was a pause and Kasamatsu looked over to Kuroko and smirked. "Kise, I have something to tell you." He said to Kise.
"What is it Kasamatsu-senpai?" The blonde replied cocking his head slightly in a cute, childish manner.
"I like you...will you go out with me?" Kasamatsu said, leaning in closer to Kise. After a lot of thought Kise finally said,"Yes. I am sick and tired of going after Kurokocchi only to have my feelings unheard by him." and they continued to walk.
"Kise!" Kuroko shouted. "KISE! KISE!" No matter how loud he shouted or how many times he said the blonde's name the two continued to walk on.
Kuroko just knelt down and cried. Wishing he had to courage to confess. Wishing that he did it before Kasamatsu got to him.
~Kise x Kuroko~
"Kise...don't leave me..." Kuroko whimpered in his deep slumber, more tears running down his cheek. At that very moment Kise was just about to walk out the door.
Kise smiled and leaned towards his precious Kurokocchi. "Don't worry Kurokocchi, I am just leaving to get a drink, I'll be back." Kise kissed Kuroko on his forehead. "I promise...I'll never leave you..."
Kise then closes the door quietly once he walks out, a bright smile plastered on his face. "Even in deep sleep Kurokocchi is adorable." Kise thought.
"I guess you could say that." Kise heard a voice that he recognized a lot.
"Kasamatsu-senpai! Are you here to visit Kurokocchi?" Kasamatsu just stood there with his arms crossed. Then he replied, "No, I'm not. I came here to see you. I need to talk to you."
"Okay Kasamatsu-senpai. About what?" Kise said, clueless about what is going to happen.
"Let's go to the rooftop." And so they went.
On the other side of the door that Kise just closed, there was a loud whimper. And then more tears soaking into Kuroko's clothes. Even in sleep, Kuroko could sense that something is going to happen that could change his relationship with Kise...forever.
In his mind, Kuroko stood alone in the darkness. He was scared, he was alone. "KISE-KUN!" There was no reply. "Kise-kun?" Again, there was no reply. "Am I too late?" Kuroko whispered, before fainting on the dark ground in his mind, only to awaken in reality.
