not long after Brains got in, there was a knock on the door, "Foods ready whenever you are." Fred's voice called through the door. A few minutes later Brains got out with a towel wrapped around her hair like a turban, she wore the clothes she wore yesterday. She retraced her steps back to the kitchen.

Fred sat at a small kitchen table with a bowl in front of him and a one across from him, both had spoons sticking out. She pulled out the chair across from him with a smile. "I wanted to wait so we could talk while we ate." He said

"Cool, what did you want to talk about?"

"Well…" he trailed off.

Hiro drew up his hood and shoved his hands in his pockets. He walked down a shady alley, the buildings around him gave way to a square. The smell of fish and motor oil filled the air, but Hiro didn't mind, he was a man on a mission. He was looking for a guy,a guy by the name of John.

Wasabi looked at Honey, they were in Wasabi's van, driving through the streets looking for there small and very unstable friend, they drove by the lucky cat, Freds house, his garage, and the collage. He wasn't anywhere. Now they were driving around the streets of the more run down side of town, hoping to spot HIro walking around, maybe looking for a bot fight. But to no avail. "We're going to find him Wasabi, and even if we don't he won't find Krei. He couldn't take him on by himself without Beymax anyway."

"That's what i'm afraid of, what if he some how finds Krei? That kids a freakin genius. He'll find a way to stop the bots, he invented them after all. He could probable build something to stop the micro bots and he could probably hold his own in a fight. But what happens if at first Krei fights fair, then draws a knife or a weapon of some sort, Hiro couldn't fight him then. But he's blinded by rage and grief. When this happened last time Gogo pulled him out of it, well now Gogos the reason it's happening. There's nothing we can do but delay till Gogo wakes up and there's no guarantee she will!"

Honey Lemon looked down at her feet, she could feel the tears welling up in her eyes. She knew it was true, Every word of it, but she still believe that Hiro might screw up and not find him. "Wasabi… your right."

He glued his eyes back to the road, but couldn't shake the feeling of Hiro doing something he'd regret, and if Hiro got himself killed Gogo probably wouldn't forgive them. "This is going to be a few days to remember, that for sure."

Hiro stumbled through the square, trying to find the guy he barely remembered. He stopped into Jackies, as close to a diner and you could get in this area of town, he pulled up into a booth and looked around at the people, everyone looked shady. If he even muttered bot fight in here he would be mauled by competitors, easy place to scam people form the little money they had. Hiro dropped his head into his hands. This is going t- "Hey kid, why so glum?" a man's voice asked, Hiro looked up to a nondescript man.

"Oh it's nothing, i'm just looking for someone and i can't find them." Hiro put his hand back in his hands expecting the man to leave.

"Well you're not going to find them staring into your hands now are ya?"

"He lifted his head again, "I guess not, but i don't even know where to start. It's been years since i saw him and even then it wasn't for lon."

"Than why are you looking for him?"

"Just trying to relay a message and get some odds and ends."

The man sat down across from him. "Maybe i can help, if there's something in it for me." The man grinned.

"Sure, i'll pay you if we find him, other wise your get squat."

"Deal, i know everyone that frequents the square." he leaned back confidently.

"Ok, a man named John."

"... anything else?" The man waited for something else to go on.

"Last i saw he was working on a car and wearing a plaid shirt. Might be a bot fighter."

"Well that narrows it down a bit. I think i know your guy and if i'm not wrong he should be right over there." The man pointed out the window. "Now my fee."

"No, your fee when i see it's him that my terms were."

The man scowled. "Fine, go check i'll wait here."

As Hiro got up the man raised his hand and a waitress came by to take his order. Hiro crossed the square to where the man pointed. "John." Hiro said. The man, being waist deep in an old car again, slowly pulled his top half out.

"Who wants to know?" His southern drawl, obvious in his voice.

"You probably don't remember me, my names Hiro Hamada, and i was with Go- Lieko the last time she stopped by. I came to relay a message, and maybe get a few parts for something i'm building."

"I kinda remember you, oh right you're the guy thats in love with Leiko." He grinned. "Hows that going?"

"Well thats kinda why i'm here. See, we were jumped on our way home, she got shoved out of the way by one of the guys and fell, she snapped her neck on a stoop. She's in the hospital but she looks promising."

John stared wide eyes at him for a second, then grabbed the front of his hoodie and balled up his fist. "I told you to protect her! I told you something bad was coming! TWICE!"

"I know, and i really tried, wait twice?" Hiro gave a confused look. "I remember the car warning but thats only one."

"Kreis going to walk." His southern drawl disappeared in an instant. the chilling memory of the vague threat he had received from a man in all black clothes flashed back to him. But he kept talking, his drawl returning to his voice. "I don't believe you for a second, anyone who would jump Leiko wouldnt walk away from it."

He lifted Hiro off the ground and pulled him around to the side of the car, opened the door and threw him inside. Than rounded the car and got in on the drivers side. "I know who you guys are. So what really happened?"

Hiro huffed and retold the story of his fight with Krei. "I just wanted to tell you what happened, you looked close the last time i was here."

"Well thanks, we were kinda close. She got me out of a sticky situation."

"Ya, i remember her cashing in a favor, so you would tell us where Brains went."

"You said you wanted parts. What for?"

"I'm building something to take down Krei. He won't get away this time."

"How will you make that happen."

"I'm going to disable my micro bots, than take Krei on myself."

"How are you going to take Krei down? From that story, you could hold your own bu Kreis not going to play fair, he never does."

"Who said i would play fair, or even give him the chance to play fair?"

"Look Hiro, right? You're a good guy, good guys play by the rules no matter what, even if the other guy doesn't. Because if the other guy doesn't , it makes you look all the more better when you win."

"Ya what ever. Anyway do you know where i can find a transmitter, antenna and a teravolt battery around here?"

"Ya, dickys just ober there should have that stuff." They popped open their car doors and got out.

Hiro thanked him as he walked away, back to the dinner. The doors jingled as he walked in, he walked to the booth he was sitting at but the man wasn't there. So he shrugged and walked back out and back across the square. He stopped in front of a shake that was littered with mechanical parts. A rather rotund man sat behind a rickety counter. "Welcome to odds and ends, what do you need?"

"Sorry i must be in the wrong place. I'm looking for dickies."

"The names dick. So ya you're here, what do you need?"

Hiro rattled off his list of item, and dick grabbed them. Hiro paid for them, Pretty cheap. Would have costed double at a real store. He shove the materials in his pockets and thanked the man before leaving.

Krei your not going to know what hit you, and trust me you're not going to like it.

Wasabi pulled up to Honey lemons house, the sun had dropped low and disappeared from the sky at least an hour ago. and they had been searching most of the day. Honey thanked Wasabi and reluctantly got out. "Hey Honey," she turned, "Everythings going to be fine. Hiros not going to do anything stupid, and he'll be home tonight."

Honey gave him a smile. "Wasabi, sometimes i think you're too optimistic." She turned and walked up her driveway and into her house.

Wasabi let out a deep sigh and drove himself home. It had been a long day and he was happy it was over.

The day may have ended but for Hiro the night was just getting started. He arrived at his garage workshop as the sun set itself low in the sky.

He sat down in his chair and looked at the monitor in front of him. Brains suit design was still up. In a few clicks he opened up a scraped design, this one, instead of having directed energy in the form of bolts shot from her arms, had an antenna in the back that would shoot electricity, he never could make it work with the energy, but sound waves would do just fine. He spent the entire night working on the suit, he redesigned it and equipped it with his own weapon of choice, a wave of energy not meant to electrocute but to disrupt electrical systems and transmissions. He changed it from blue to black. He used the materials he purchased and some scraps he had laying around. The sui was finished by the morning. He stashed the suit and closed down the tabs on his computer just as the sun came up. He collapsed on the couch and passed out, taking some much needed and well deserved rest.

Oh GUYS is Hiro going to go all red x on Krei. (You get a cookie and a high five if you get the reference.)
