SakuDei

Sakura watched as her former village mates left the battlefield where she had finally gotten her revenge. A small smile played on her lips as she watched them go, friends of a sort once again. "That could have ended very differently." Deidara mused. "It could have but it didn't. Don't be such a downer." Sakura replied. Kisame laughed at the pout on Deidara's face. "I'm not being a downer yeah! I'm just making a statement!" He protested. Sakura turned her head to face her blond and smiled widely, showing quite a few teeth. "Let's go eat. I'm starving." She said. Deidara's jaw dropped and Kisame roared with laughter. The pinkette turned on her heel and headed inside, not bothering to see if the others were following her.

"Congratulations Deidara. She's more of a freak than you are." Sasuke sneered as he passed the blond to go inside. "I beg to differ Sasuke. I don't think you have any right to talk about freaks at all. Even Sai has more of a personality than you do. I seriously doubt it's an Uchiha thing because Madara and Itachi have personality so if anyone's a freak here that would be you." Sakura's snub drifted out of the kitchen. Deidara smirked and stuck all three of his tongues out at the fuming Uchiha. Sasuke glared at the blond and shot him the middle finger petulantly. "Don't be a child Sasuke. You're a grown man. Act like one." Itachi said imperiously as he passed his brother to head into the kitchen with the intent to aid Sakura with the cooking. Sasuke gaped at his brother in disbelief. How could his beloved aniki side with that evil creature from hell?! It would not be tolerated. Sasuke couldn't allow it. She was a demon and it was up to him to get rid of her.

"Ok so because I just used up a shit load of chakra and probably traumatized a bunch of people, I have decided that I'll stray from the healthy course I have been forcibly holding you on and made pizza tonight." Sakura announced. Cheers of relief sounded from Hidan and Kisame while Sasori and Itachi just smiled slightly. Even Madara joined in on the festivities because he was getting tired of eating so healthy too. "That doesn't mean you can slack off though. I'm just being nice tonight. Tomorrow it's back to the program!" Sakura warned as she presented several pizzas. The pinkette huffed quietly as she was ignored in favor of the heavenly delights placed in front of their faces.

"Thank you Sakura!" Hidan sprayed her with bits of chewed up crust and cheese as he spoke. Sakura made a face of disgust and wiped her face off with a napkin. "You're welcome." She said lightly. Deidara snickered from his seat at the table. Sakura sighed happily and took a bite of the sandwich she made herself after the pizzas were finished. "Why didn't you eat pizza too?" Deidara asked. "I dislike pizza actually. I made myself some sandwiches so it's fine." Sakura replied. "Oh." Deidara said. Sakura smiled fondly and moved next to him so that their legs were touching. "I don't mind you know. And about that kiss before that fight, I like you and I don't always know how to say the words so I say things with actions instead." She said softly. Deidara chuckled. "It's ok yeah. I like you too." He replied. "Good because I'm afraid you're rather stuck with me." Sakura said with a grin.

Deidara smirked. "I can live with that." He replied.

Some well deserved peace I believe. R&R.
