Hey Guys! Sorry for such a long wait! But I'm back! So lets get down to the point!

Allon-sy!

~Chapter 8~

~Jo~

This was my first time sleeping in the house, that I could remember anyways...there is still the four months that I couldn't remember. At least I had convinced them to let me go shower and go to the bathroom in the TARDIS.

Which is wear I was at now. I was lying awake, with a dire need to go to the bathroom. The bedroom was cold, the fire had died out long ago, and I was shivering under the covers. Did I mention it was thundering and lightening out side.

*Why couldn't I just go to sleep in my room, in the TARDIS?* I mentally screamed.

Sitting up, I got out of bed, slipping on my slippers and a robe. I also thanked god that I basically beat into Jack that I was not wearing a gown to bed. So I was stuck in thin pajama pants and a tank top, which made it colder.

I peaked out the door, the hallway was dark, but when the lightening flashed through the huge window, it illuminated the hallway, making it look really creepy. I took a deep breath and opened the door all the way. Closing it behind me softly, I tiptoed down the hallway, and opened the first door. Jack laid sprawled out on the bed, snoring loudly.

*Do I really want to wake him up? Who am I kidding, I can't go downstairs by myself* I mentally kicked myself for being scared of the dark, and lightening. A flash covered the hallway again and I jumped, and bit back a scream.

I shuffled quickly over to the bed, and sat on the edge. Taking another deep breath, I reached out and shook his shoulder.

"Jack..." I whispered.

He rolled over to face me, but his eyes were still close.

"Jack" I whispered louder and shook a little harder

His hand flew out, grabbed my wrist and dragged me into bed. He wrapped his arms around me and sighed in my ear. My eyes twitched, and flung my arms out, prying him off me, and pushed him off the bed. He landed with an "umpf" and I stood up.

He looked up at me, and I stared down at him.

"What?" He asked, scrambling to get up.

"I need you to go downstairs with me" I said.

"Why?" He rubbed his back side.

"Cause I don't want to go by myself" I said as a flash of lightening illuminated the room and I jumped slightly, letting out a squeak.

He stared at me, with his mouth wide open.

"Shut up" I hissed.

"What? I didn't say anything" He grinned.

"No but you were thinking it" I growled, "Are you gonna come with me or not?"

"Yea yea, I'm coming" He giggled at his joke.

I glared at him and threw open the door.

We walked out into the hallway, and I moved closer to him, without realizing it, until I heard him snicker. I jumped away from him.

"Shut up!" I growled under my breath.

"I can't believe big tough Jo is afraid of lightening" He giggled.

Another flash of lightening, and I jumped again.

"Shut it!" I hissed as we walked to the stairs.

"You first" I pointed into the darkness.

He rolled his eyes, and smirked at me, but went down the stairs first. I followed close enough that when he stopped suddenly, I ran right into him.

"What was that for?" I rubbed my forehead.

"I thought I saw something" He said and I clung to his shirt.

I didn't realize he was joking until he started laughing.

"Stop! That wasn't funny" I whined.

"I thought it was" He laughed.

I pouted and pushed him. We continued down the stairs, I almost jumped on top of him everytime I saw lightening. I followed him to the basement stairs, one hand grabbing his shirt, the other pulled up to my chin. I was shaking cause it was cold...yea that was it.

We went down the stairs, with a small candle that Jack had found in one of the rooms. I sighed out of relief that there was no more lightening, and he laughed a little.

"Don't laugh at me" I whined, which made him laugh harder.

"Its so hard not to, you, who act all high and mighty, is afraid of lightening" He snickered.

"Its not funny" I growled.

We fell into silence as he lead the way to where the TARDIS was. It lite up the room the part of the basement that it was in and I ran to it, barely waiting for Jack to unlock it, pulled open the doors and dashed in to it. I grabbed the first door, and she must've knew what I was looking for. My personal bathroom was there and I was relieved.

~Jack~

I waited in the consol room, after Jo had dashed into the bathroom. The TARDIS was humming softly, and I yawned. It was hard to believe that Jo was afraid of anything, much less lightening. I was still having a great time poking fun at her, and getting her mad.

She came out of the bathroom, looking much happier, then when she went in.

"Better?" I asked, and she nodded.

"Much" she smiled.

"Alright then lets go, I would like to get some sleep tonight" I teased, and she glared at me.

She walked out the door and I followed behind her, locking the door.

"Did you hear that?" She asked her voice tense.

"No? Now you're hearing things? Great" I joked, thinking she was just being paranoid.

She didn't answer and I turned around to find her staring at this hideous creature.

"What is that?" She looked at me, and I looked at her.

"What is what?" I asked, looking at her confused.

"I don't remember" she shrugged and I lead the way out of the basement, without any complaint.

I felt like I was missing something, forgetting something, and I knew she felt the same, from the tight grip she had on the back of my shirt. We got to the top of the stairs and heard something in the kitchen. She looked up at me, and I started walking towards the kitchen. I thought her grip couldn't get any tighter, but it did and my shirt was starting to choke me.

"Jo, easy on the shirt please" I said, and she loosened her grip.

She let go by the time we go to the kitchen and I slowly pushed open the door, and walked in, she followed closely behind. We were about half way into the kitchen, when I deemed it was nothing and turned out. My eyes nearly popped out of my head at the creature behind Jo. She saw my face and wrapped her arms around me, hiding her face in my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and hauled her away. But the minute I turned away from it, I couldn't remember what I was running from.

"Is it gone?" She whispered.

"Is what gone?" I said, and she pulled away from me.

"Was that a joke?" She shrieked.

"Was what a joke?" I asked.

She punched me in the arm, and let me tell you, it hurt, and stormed out of the kitchen, jumping slightly at the lightening. I chased after her cause I was confused at what was going on, but by the time I reached the kitchen doors, she was running towards the stairs. A flash of lightening light the room up and she disappeared up the stairs.

I sighed and walked across the room. With a glance over my shoulder, I walked up the stairs and into my room.

~Jo~

That jerk! How dare he scare me like that!

I crawled into bed and pulled the covers over my head. I laid in bed, not too angry to sleep. He knew I was scared and he took advantage of it.

I laid in silence, not moving, trying to get warm. I heard something creak and thought it as just the wind outside, or the rain. But then it happened again, and again. I threw off my covers, ready to yell at Jack, for trying to scare me again, but stopped and just screamed.

Yay a cliff hanger! Rose and John may be entering in on the next chapter or the chapter after that. There's really not too many chapters left, unless I decide to drag it out a little more! Thank you for reading! Please Review!
