This is the birth of the twins in Indigo's point of view. This went through my head a lot, so now is time to put it on paper. There is also a reference to the memory fragment from Remembering Indigo. I hope you enjoy the chapter.

One thing I did not want to deal with this morning, was being tired, and worn out. However, when one was pregnant with twins, that did not happen, ever. Instead I was prodded awake by two pairs of feet. I eventually fell asleep, but was woken by Viktor's alarm. I groaned, and very slowly sat up, keeping my eyes shut the entire time. A cramping sensation spread across my stomach, and I opened my eyes, looking at my stomach, hissing in sensation quickly went away, but that didn't stop Viktor from enveloping me in his arms, chin on my shoulder.

"Are you all right?" He asked, concerned.

"I'm fine, it was nothing." He tenderly caressed my stomach.

"I almost don't want this to end. As soon as they're born, they'll grow up, and before I know it they'll be living their own lives." He stopped caressing, and murmured. "I couldn't live with myself if anything happened to you, or them."

"I feel the same way." I respond honestly. He smiles into my shoulder, then kisses it, letting go of me. I get dressed in a short-sleeve long dress, and turn around to see Victor in dark jeans, putting on a long-sleeve dark shirt. He turned around, and saw me staring him.

"Is something wrong?" He asked.

"Am I not allowed to ogle my husband?" I asked innocently. He smirked, then slowly stepped towards me.

"Not without paying for it." He said before swooped down, and captured my lips. My eyelids slid shut as my hand slid up his chest to anchor his neck. We broke apart, and went about our morning business.

When I opened the door, I expected to see Uriel and Harmony together, wearing forced smiles. Instead, I open the door to Harmony, looking like she was about to drop dead.

"Rough night?" I ask, as she walks past me, kicking off her shoes.

"You have no idea." She went up the stairs. Figuring I would get answers from her later, I looked for Uriel. I saw a figure in the driver seat of the new vehicle in the driveway. Slipping on a pair of shoes, and grabbing an umbrella, I waddled over to the driver's window, and knocked on it. Uriel got out of the car, and gave me a tired look.

"I take it you're also not going to tell me anything, are you?" He said nothing, and just walked through the door. I followed him to the door, and was met by Victor.

"What's going on with Uriel?"

"I don't yet, but I'm going to find out. Can you leave Ms. Kavanagh a note to get his suitcase, I have to use the bathroom."

An hour later at the airport, we were waiting for the rest of the clan to arrive, while Xav and Crystal tried to get a car. I felt another cramping sensation, and let a small moan, bending forward slightly.

"Indigo? Are you okay?" Victor held my arms, helping me stay upright.

"Yeah, I just, need to sit down." He helped me to a seat, and I took a deep breath of relief.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I nodded. I looked around for someone familiar, and didn't. "Why don't you check up on Xav, see what's going on?"

"Are you sure?"

"I'll be fine." I respond, giving him a gentle smile. With a quick kiss, he reluctantly left to check up on Xav.

"Indigo!" I heard what seemed like a minute later. I got up, and faced the caller. Sky, and her soulfinder Zed, were rushing excitedly towards me, the rest of the Benedict clan behind them. Sky stopped right in front of me, and giggled. "Wow, you really are glowing." She bent down to my stomach. "Hi babies, I'm your auntie, and I can't wait to meet you!"

"You know, you're going to end up like this someday too." Sky turned really flush and straightened. I was soon surrounded by my family, with Karla trying to get me to sit down.

"Are you sure you're alright?"

"I'm fine." I caught Saul trying to hide a knowing smirk. "And what do you find so amusing?"

"Just an old man's idle thoughts. Where's the lucky father in all of this?"

"Helping his brother rent a car." No sooner did the words leave my lips, did the mentioned trio appear.

"We ready to go?" Vick asked. There was a collaborative 'yes' as we all headed for the exit.

I was in the kitchen when another, slightly more painful cramp left me gasping against the counter. By now I realized what I was feeling were contractions, and noticed they were getting a little closer. With the weather as it was, it wouldn't be a good idea to drive to the hospital. Hopefully I could wait out until the storm got better, before I really needed to get to a doctor. I regained my composure, and was extremely grateful that nobody noticed what happened. I was about to rejoin my family, when I noticed Harmony off to the side, an air of melancholy around her. I approached her, grabbing her attention.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"Yeah, just feeling a little nostalgic." She looked away, caught eyes with Uriel, then quickly looked down, cheeks flushed. I noticed that both of them were being very jumping, especially with each other. Something's going on here.

"We need to talk." I say grabbing her hand, and dragged her into the library. I telekinetically closed the door, and faced Harmony. "Okay, enough secret behavior. What's going on with you and Uriel?"

"Nothing is going on with me and Uriel." That has to be the most pathetic lie I have ever heard.

"Hmm. Okay, can we try that with a little more conviction this time?" I respond sarcastically. Harmony looked at the floor.

"I asked him to help me go through my memories in case I missed something." Guilt crashed down on me. Uriel's gift allowed him to see a person's past, but didn't allow him to pick and choose which memories. Considering all that has happened to her, it hasn't for Harmony to share things. I went over, and rubbed her arm.

"Is that why you seem on edge?"

"I guess." She replied half-heartily.

"Why do I get the sense there's more?

"Well, ever since then, I can't stop thinking about him. It's like, a part of me now belongs to him." Wow, that's big . . . And she doesn't even see the meaning of it.

"I don't believe it. You're in love." She looked up at me in disbelief.

"What? No way?" I had to hold in excited giggles.

"That just further proves my point. You, Ms. I'm-too-busy-enjoying-life -and-freedom-to-have-someone-hold-me-down, is in love with sweet, sensible, Uriel Benedict." Part of me was glad, because I knew Uriel was way better than any guy she ever went out with. The other part was slightly annoyed that she was denying it.

"This is stupid. I've only known him for two days."

"So, it took me fifteen minutes to fall in love with Victor."

"This is crazy, you know that right?"

"You're in love. You're in love." I teased.

"Shut up." We both laughed, until another contraction hit me. It'll be alright, I've just got to hold it until after the storm. I felt a wetness between my thighs.

"Are you okay?" Biting my lip, I shook my head.

"Nope. I think my water just broke." She helped over to the wall to sit down, when another contraction hit me. "Christ!" I was focusing on my breathing when Vick came in, and asked how I was doing.

"Come on, we'll get you to a hospital." He said, grabbing a hold under my armpits.

"That's not a good idea. The storm could easily change into a hurricane, you don't want to be stuck out there." Harmony explained. Soon the entire family came to see what was up, and Harmony appointed Xav to be the doctor.

I'm not sure if I'm pleased, or worried about this. I telepathically tell Vick.

It'll be fine, I'm sure of it.

Everybody then went to secure the house, with the exception of Karla, and Crystal. I then realized where I was, and grabbed Vick's shoulder.

"Help me up."

"I don't think-" I settled a glare on him, stopping him from talking.

"I am not, giving birth, to our children, on the floor!" I seethed. Xav, and Vick helped me up from the floor, and lead me to a couch in the study.

Three hours later of painful, prolonging contractions, I had finally reached my breaking point.

"Please, just make it end. I don't want to do this anymore." I moaned.

"You're the one that signed on to do this, there nothing I can do." Xav joked, trying to bring up the mood. Big mistake.

"I saved you from your brothers when you were just a baby, you ungrateful, narcissistic toad! If you don't help me right now, I swear to God, I will make you regret my decision!" I snapped. I don't think I had ever seen Xav more scared today than right now, when he stood there, staring at me, completely petrified. I barely noticed everyone else's shocked looks, when I suddenly felt a completely different sensation. Xav seemed to feel it, as he then crouched down in front of me, to catch the baby.

"On your next contraction, push." Panic began to overwhelm me. I'm about to give birth. I'm actually going to fricking give birth to my baby. The panic quickly went away as the contraction it, and I solely focused on pushing. After three more pushes, Madison was born, and Karla left my side to take care of her. Another three pushes later, and the second baby was born. I collapsed, feeling exhausted, then glanced at Xav. He stood up, and swayed until Crystal took a hold of him. Poor thing.

"Sorry, about what I said." I croaked.

"Ish fine, all in the past." I inwardly cringed, as Crystal led him out of the room. I looked at Victor, and saw him, holding our second child. He looked down at me, his face indescribable.

"Can I hold her?" I asked, holding out my arms. Vick gently lowered down, and gingerly placed the baby in my arms. I looked down at the sleeping child, and thought it was all worth it, just to hold her like this.

"What do we name her?" Victor asked. The perfect name came to me.

"Cassandra. I want to name her after Harmony." He smiled in understanding, then looked back at the baby.

"Perfect name." He murmured. I completely agreed.
