Hey guys, how's everyone doin? Blah blah blah, let's skip the pleasantries and get down to business. I've been wanting to change Blake's name for a while now because it's a pain in the ass to write and I'm guessing read as well.

So do you guys think I should change it? If so, what to? I was thinking about one of these:

- Lawson

- Joshua

- Daniel

- Other (feel free to suggest)

Anyway, here's ninth chapter

"Lake house, do you know it?" Hotch asked Emily as they all met at the hospital in Alex's room.

"Where?" she asked.

"Gig Harbor," he replied.

Emily nodded slightly "Yeah, Key Peninsular,"

"Can you take us there?" JJ asked.

Emily sighed and closed her eyes briefly "I guess I'll have to, won't I?" she asked rhetorically. Before anyone could ask her about her discomfort, she cut them off "Let's go then," and walked out.

Blake looked at JJ and Morgan in confusion who just shrugged in response before they all followed her out.

The teams were split into three cars; Hotch, Blake and Reid in one. JJ, Rossi, Emily and Morgan in another. Gibbs, Ziva, Tony and McGee in the last. Emily was driving in front, leading the rest of the agents towards the lake house. So far, she had been silent, she hadn't said a word except for a few quiet yes, no's and shrugs.

Derek, who sat in the passenger's seat, kept glancing left at her. He watched as her eyes watched the road but her mind was somewhere else. He watched as her hands gripped the steering while as if it were a lifeline. He watched helplessly as she suffered in her own mind. He knew he wouldn't get through to her, not yet anyway. He knew in his own mind that she had to process what was going through her's. He knew he couldn't help her yet. He couldn't talk to her because he knew she would shut him out. That was her flaw, that was her downfall. Her downfall that might push her downhill again, it has before. His mind flashes back to Doyle, and how he told her to trust him just days before she ran off. So, no, he wouldn't talk to her yet. But he could show her that she wasn't alone.

He put his hand on her shoulder and gave her a smile. A small smile. A trust smile. A smile that would show her that she's not alone in this shit hole of an earth. She returned the small smile. It didn't quite reach her eyes, but the emotions were there. She looked at him with gratitude, but he knew she wasn't all there. She was still afraid of something. She wasn't able to share it though, again, part of her stubborn-ass independence persona, a persona he loved and loathed all at the same time. He loved that she was strong as hell but he hated that this act wouldn't allow her to trust anyone, it wouldn't allow her to let others in.

He was pulled out of his thoughts by Emily stopping the car and turning the engine off and getting out. The other three agents in the car looked at each other in confusion and did the same "What're you doing?"

They had stopped on a dirt trail in the middle of the woods. Large trees surrounded the three yard wide road and there was nothing around for miles.

"There are cameras all over the property, he'll me out of there or dead before we get to the front door," she stated flatly as she started walking slowly, inspecting the floor and the trees around them.

"Well, is there any way to get into the property?" asked Tony.

"Sure, walk up the driveway," she said sarcastically "As for not being seen..." she said crouching down beside a large rock beside a tree that looked a hundred years old "There's only one," The rest of them looked at her in interest as she kicked the boulder rock away with ease.

"What the hell?" Blake asked "How heavy was that?"

Emily shrugged "20 pounds maybe?" she looked up at him and smirked "It's a fake," as she brushed away leaves and sticks she revealed a large hole.

"What the fuck is that?" JJ asked.

"Our way in," Emily said as she sat down, dangling her legs in the hole as if she were sitting on the edge of a cliff "I dug it when I was fifteen,"

"Why?"

"I needed a way out of this shit hole," Emily said looking down into it "Oh hey, the ladder's still here," she smirked and jumped down into it without another word.

"You gotta be kidding me right now!" JJ yelled down at her, then saw Emily's smug grin as she jumped in after her. The hole was about seven foot deep and five feet wide so everyone could fit in without crouching "Ouch! Jesus Christ woman!"

"Don't blame me, there is a ladder there," Emily said with her hands in the air.

"Well it's been a couple of decades since you used it so I'm not listening to you," said JJ with a glare.

"Neither has your mom but you still listen to her," Emily muttered earning a chuckle from Derek up the top, before they all jumped in, one-by-one.

"That's not funny," JJ slapped her friend in her arm as Emily laughed at her own joke.

"I beg to differ,"

"So where is this taking us anyway?" Hotch said as Emily felt the walls.

"Come on motherfucker, where are you?" she muttered until she yelled "Yes! Gotcha," Suddenly little fairy lights lit the ceiling down the tunnel as far as they could see.

"Wow, you are full of surprises aren't you?" Blake asked.

Emily shrugged "I knew my parents wouldn't miss them, I managed to steal them out of the attic when they were having one of their fights," she then started walking down the tunnel, her fingers trailing along the left side of the dirt wall "They fought so often they didn't even know I was gone most of the time. Took me three weeks to dig this, I had to make sure that it wasn't going to collapse on me as I was digging it, I had to put these wooden beams up," she gestured to the wooden planks that stood vertically every few feet and above their heads on the ceiling.

"You built all of this?" Reid asked.

"Yep,"

"Why?" asked Gibbs.

"To see you," Emily said, not looking at him, or anyone for that matter "You were coming home from deployment, and I knew I'd be up there, you'd also be leaving not long after,"

"You were about to be shipped off to boarding school," Gibbs made the connection "And you were on lock down,"

Emily nodded "My parents being the almighty protectors they are," she said sarcastically "Even though the only thing they were protecting was their reputation," she muttered. Before anyone could comment, she stopped at a dead end "It's not far from here," she crouched down again.

"Oh, God, please down't tell me there's another hole," JJ said fearing she was going to kick over a tine rock to reveal a tiny hole that would suck them down a rabbit hole "Because I really don't feel like playing Alice today,"

Emily didn't respond only searching the ground again, pulling out her phone flashlight. She got into the corner and stuck her hand in a tiny ditch and pulled out a stainless steel zippo lighter. She brushed her thumb over the top of the engraving. It read 'Screw the World, fight for yourself'.

"What now? We have a smoke?" asked JJ sarcastically.

"No, smart ass," she rolled her eyes and flicked off the lid, lighting the flame. She slid the flame along the wall slowly, confusing the others in the tunnel.

"What's she doing?" asked McGee quietly earning a shrug in return from Tony.

Suddenly the flame disappeared from the lighter and Emily closed it. She pressed on the dirt where the flame blew out and pushed it open, revealing a door "Woah," Blake said "This is so freaky,"

Emily opened the door, drawing her gun and walked into the room. As everyone filed in, guns drawn, they saw they were in a wine cellar.

They all followed Emily from the cellar and walked up the stairs to the door. She cracked the door slightly and saw no one before entering the lake house silently. As they all filed of the cellar, they watched Hotch and Gibbs give their hand signals for the teams to split up in twos and search the house.

Emily slipped off from Blake by herself as she knew the lake house inside and out, all the nooks and crannies. 'You don't grow up a single child with no friends for nothing' she thought to herself.

Blake stopped at one of the closed doors, his back to the wall and turned his head to tell Emily something, only to find she wasn't even there. He frowned to himself "Emily?" he whispered "Dammit, Emily," he turned his attention back to the door as he swung it open as quickly and quietly as possible, and secured the room, moving onto the next one. He swiftly opened the door and saw a man sitting in an office chair, a gun in his hand, his back to the desk against the wall, staring straight at him with a deadly grin on his face.

"Well done Agent James, I do applaud you on finding me," he said calmly "I do assume it was you who got through to my lovely partner in crime and passion?" he said more as a statement than a question.

"Put the gun down Cryer," said Blake, his gaze and gun not wavering.

Andrew shook his "No thanks, your turn,"

"You set up your own sister," Blake asked him, not moving.

He chuckled "Why don't you ask your girlfriend," his persona changing into anger "She'll tell you what she did,"

"You have no idea, do you?" Blake asked him.

"No idea about what?" asked Matthew, getting annoyed.

"She had no idea you existed until two days ago," said Blake "I don't know what was said or what you think she said, I never heard that part, but she had no idea who you were,"

"You're lying," said Matthew, standing up from his chair and extending his arm, so his gun was level with Blake's head.

Blake shook his head as he saw a figure in the corner of his eye stand up from underneath the desk "No he's not," it said.

They both turned to look at Emily standing there, gun raised, and a look of 'don't fuck with me' in her eyes, scaring Blake a bit.

"Hey little sis," he smirked as he dropped his gun and put his hands behind his head, dropping to his knees "I guess you won,"

Blake came up behind him and cuffed his hands, pulling him to his feet as Emily spoke over their vest comms "We got him, meet you out front, I'll call it in,"

"Copy," she heard Hotch's reply as she sat down on the desk "We'll interrogate him back at NCIS,"

"Copy," they all heard Hotch say "We'll interrogate him back at NCIS,"

As they all made their way out the front of the mansion-like lake house, they found Emily and Blake standing next to Matthew Cryer, uniforms pulling into the driveway, lights flashing and sirens on. Two uni's took Cryer away and they all stood in a group.

"Holy shit," Blake blew out a breath "That was quite the two days,"

The rest of the chuckled at him as JJ said "This lake house is amazing, how often did you stay here?"

"A lot," Emily said, looking up at the lake house in front of her "I got bored out of my mind when I was a kid and went exploring, found new ways to get in, out and around the house without anyone knowing, that's how I found a floor entrance into the study,"

"I guess we better go and interrogate our unsub," Hotch said.

Emily rolled her eyes "Oh yay," she said sarcastically.

'Breathe Prentiss, Jesus Christ!' Emily thought to herself as she opened the interrogation room door to see Matthew sitting with a smug grin on his face.

"Emily Prentiss," he stated "The Golden Child,"

Emily snorted at his reference "The Golden Child? I don't think so,"

"Oh please," he said, the grin dropping from his face "You went to boarding school to get the best education,"

"Yeah?" Emily asked "Who told you that?"

"Didn't need to be told," said Matthew rolling his eyes.

"No matter what you think, our father loved you more, I wasn't the Golden Child who got to go to boarding school, I was shipped off to boarding school, there's a difference," she said "Whatever you think about me, whatever you think I said about you two decades ago; it's not true. I never said any of it,"

"Seriously?" Matthew asked "You're playing that card?"

"I had no idea who you were until a couple of days ago," Emily stated "My mother never wanted me to know about you, because the more people that know, the more of a chance that the public will find out about Gerald's other family,"

"You honestly didn't know?" Matthew asked.

Emily shook her head as Matthew bowed his in shame "Why didn't you just come and talk to me? Even if all those things did happen two decades ago...that was, well, two decades ago. We're adults now, we grew up,"

"You would've said the same thing I was told twenty years ago," Matthew replied.

"Instead you killed six women,"

So, let me know what you think :)

And I would relaly like some feedback about Blake's name; let's face it, that was poor judgement on my end

Thanks :)
