A loud roar woke Allen from his sleep, he sat up and looked groggily around the room. A sharp pain, shot through Allen's back as he sat up and the pain went around to his belly. Rubbing a shaky hand around his belly he could feel the baby pushing against his belly, squirming. "What's wrong…?" He asked the child inside him.
Looking around the room Yamira was asleep, on the floor, where she had been when he had left the room earlier. Her raven hair was strewn out on the floor everywhere and one of her arms was over her belly and the other next to her and her legs kicked out under below her. Smiling, he tried to get up and as soon as he did his head began to spin and another pain shot up his spine and traveled through his belly. Sitting back down, he pushed himself back up. Looking down at his belly, it was slightly bigger than it had been yesterday. Sighing he walked to the door. "Neah…" He said aloud.
"Hm?" The voice asked in his head.
"How'd I get back in my room?" He asked opening his door, and looking around. Johnny was nowhere to be seen.
"I dunno… All I remember is having a little talk with Rouvelier…" There was laughter to Neah's voice.
"What'd you mean?" Neah didn't answer him. Looking down the hall, Allen could see people running around down the hall. They were all in a frenzy. He could see Alma walking towards him, Allen could feel a growl rising in his face. "It's okay Allen…" Neah's voice was calm and showed no sign of hostility.
"Alma…" Allen called out and the black haired boy looked up with a smug smirk on his face. The shadow user walked past him and he watched the dark boy pick up his child. "What're you doing with her?" Allen asked reaching for his child and Alma handed her to her mother. The child was clutching the katana she had been laying with tightly, not letting it go, even when she was picked up from the floor and placed in her mother's arms.
"It looks like you're mate has come to get you, and he's brought a little troop with him too!" Alma said with an almost giddy quip to his voice.
"So… Kanda's here…." Allen asked. He could feel the tears brimming in his eyes. His mate had come for him. "W-where is he?" He asked frantically looking up at Alma with expectant eyes.
"Calm down, little princess. Don't be jumpin' to conclusions! You're not allowed to see him just yet! He'll have to get to me first and I guarantee that he will find me, and when he does I'll get what I want!" Alma laughed and took Allen's hand. "Now come along princess, I'll take you to the left wing. Yuu has been seen on his guardian with a shadow and fire user on the roof. They came down on to the north wing. Also a water user, the princess of the shadow kingdom on her guardian, a light users, and a lightning user." Allen didn't notice he was being pulled along as he thought about the list of magic users the dark boy had just named off.
"A shadow user…"
"Tyki!"
"A fire user!"
"Lavi!"
"A water user~"
"Lenalee!"
"Princess of the Shadow Kingdom~"
"Road!"
"A light user?"
"Marie!"
"And a lightning user?"
"Bak!"
Allen was now smirking. Letting himself be pulled along as he held his daughter, he looked at the back of Alma's dark hair. "He has no idea, what he's in for!" Allen purred to Neah.
"Mommy," Looking down at his child, Yamira looked back at him with eyes so much like his own.
"Yes baby?"
"What's going on?" Allen looked up from his daughter, to Alma, who was practically skipping as he lead him on.
"Daddy's come to get us, don't worry! You'll see him soon!" He promised her and she cuddled into his chest still clutching the katana as close to her as possible as if it were her life line. Smiling down at his precious daughter, he loved how she reminded him so much of his mate. "Kanda! I'll wait for you!" He growled lowly.
"I think they know we're here!" Road said with an excited tone in her voice.
"I would think so too, lady Road." Lenalee said with a frown on her face. After jumping into the portal beside Road and her guardian, the two had wound up somewhere inside the castle. By the looks of it, they were in the sleeping chambers of someone, whom, the two girls had no idea.
"Come on, hop on and we'll start looking for Allen!" Road said offering the green haired girl a hand up on to her guardian. The water user took her hand and was pulled onto the large fox. "Slowly," He said to her guardian who began walking down the corridor they were in. After rounding a corner, Vaneal stopped in his tracks and his ears perked up. Looking around, Road pat her hand against her guardians flank as he began to growl. Next thing they knew, they were surrounded with many masked faces.
"Who are you? You don't belong here!" One of the masked men said stepping forward. Only to jump back as Vaneal snapped his large teeth at the stranger.
"I am Road Kamelot, Princess of the shadow Kingdom in the realm of fire! I am here, looking for my best friend…. The price of the fire kingdom, perhaps you've seen him?" She said with an almost sadistic smile on her dark features.
"No one is allowed to see the hostages! Orders from Master Rouvelier!" The man said and a wall of ice was thrown up in front of the two girls. Sighing, Road looked back at Lenalee and the green haired girl nodded. Waving her arms at the wall of ice, it dropped with a heavy splash of water.
"Where, is my lord?" Lenalee growled causing the grunts to back away in fear of the green haired girl. No one answered her as they held defiant glares towards the shadow princess, and Lenalee. Heaving a frustrated sigh she sent a wave of water towards the men. They were all washed away and thrown against the wall. Tapping his sides with her feet, Road urged Valeal forward. He stepped over and around the men who were coughing up water and trying to breathe from having the air knocked from their bodies. They looked around the grunts quarters. No sign of Allen, or Yamira.
"Neither of them are down in the grunts quarters!" Road said in her head. Before they had left, Road had established a telekinetic link between everyone. She was able to transmit her thoughts to them whenever she needed to. They could also reply to her via the same telekinetic powers. This was the easiest was to make sure no one checked somewhere twice as not to waste time. "Lenalee, and I are headed down to the dungeon area."
"Understood Road, thanks!" Kanda replied back.
"He's coming for me, you know that, don't you!" Allen said as he watched Mana pace around in front of him.
"I know!" He said giving Allen a sideways glare.
"If you don't put up a fight and just let him have me, you won't die!" Allen said with a slightly pleading tone to his already pained voice. "If you just talk to Kanda, he won't kill you! If you promise me that you'll let me go, I'll tell him to let you live!" Alma seemed to contemplate the offer. He turned to Allen as the boy doubled over as a harsh contraction rippled through his body.
"Allen! You know what this means right!" Neah said in a somewhat distressed voice.
"He couldn't have picked a worse time to come…" Allen groaned rubbing at his swollen belly as the contraction began to ware off.
"Who?" Alma asked coming over to stand in front of Allen.
"The baby…" Allen said with a soft whimper.
"It's far too early!" Neah groaned.
"How long has it been?" Alma asked leaning down next to Allen.
"Three… Three weeks…" He mumbled. "When I was pregnant with Yamira for the whole term… Because… Because I was taken from home, I wasn't allowed the medicines I needed to keep the baby from sapping my own magic…" He said as he began to pant lightly. "Please Alma, just let me go back… Don't fight Kanda, you helped me, so don't fight with him. He'll kill you!"
"I don't know if I can do that… He left me… for you! He had one responsibility, to bring you, the wind user back to the realm of ice! But no, you had to be the one for him, you had to be the one to be his mate!" Alma said, his voice getting higher as he worked himself up. Standing he looked down at Allen, dark marks beginning to appear on his face and arms. "You're the reason he left in the first place! It's your fault! All your fault!" There was a dark pointy tail sticking out from behind Alma, as a dark aura beginning to surround Alma as the shadows began to seep in to his own. "If it had never been for you, Yuu would still be mine!" Dark marks also began to appear on Alma's face as dark matter began to swell around him, as shadows began to feed into his own shadow.
"That's where you're wrong." A deep, almost feral voice growled. Turning around Allen couldn't help the smile that appeared on his pained face.
"Daddy!" Yamira squealed running to her father and wrapping her small hands around his waist. He reached down and put his hand on her head.
"…Yuu!" Alma purred, a delighted smile showing its self on the dark demons face. Kanda drew mugen and pointed it at the demons throat.
"You took my mate, and my child… Even if I had stayed and you had been sent to retrieve Allen… Once he was brought here, I would have mated him anyways! He is the one I was meant to be with from not now until the end! Not you!" He said glaring at Alma. "Baby girl, go to mommy…" Kanda said patting Yamira's head. The small Kanda look-alike ran over to Allen.
Allen pulled her close and hugged her to his chest. He would rather her not see any of it if they really were going to fight. "Kanda…" He said looking up at the raven. Their eyes met and they seemed to be sharing deep emotions on a level no one else would ever understand. Gray and blue met and before they knew it, Allen's eyes were screwed shut as another contraction rippled through him. His eyes went wide for a minutes. He could see a pale clear aura surrounding Allen, but as he continued to look the aura was slowly beginning to darken. He turned his glare to Alma, a deep growl left the raven as he charged the dark haired boy.
"What did you do to him?" Kanda howled as he used mugen to slash at Alma's body the dark haired boy simply jumped back dodging the attack.
"I haven't done anything, the little princess is going to have the baby…" Alma said with an almost amused smile on his face. Kanda stopped in his attack and looked back at Allen. "But right now that's not your concern!" Alma snarled, a large amount of dark matter swelled in Alma's hand and he fired it at Kanda, throwing the raven back into a wall.
"Kanda!" Allen screeched, but when he tried to get up to go to Kanda, Alma's tail wrapped securely around Allen's body hoisting him high into the air above all of them.
"Allen!" Neah said panic collecting in his voice as Allen struggled against Alma's tail.
"I'm okay… Look…" Allen looked down at his body, Alma's tail had wrapped around his body but it wasn't at all wrapped around his swollen belly. It wasn't squeezing him either, it was just tight enough to hold him in the air. "Alma, listen to me!" Allen stressed looking down at the seething boy. "Can't you forgive Kanda, what he did, he did to live! You can't tell me that you wouldn't have done the same thing to live your life, to live and be happy outside of a realm where you were only used as a test subject. Kanda was part of experiments, so I'm guessing you were also part of those same experiments. You could also have found a way out, instead of choosing to hate Kanda for abandoning you!"
"Shut up!" Alma screeched his hands on his head. "As long… As long as Yuu, is still alive…." He mumbled squeezing his head tighter, stumbling around he fell to his knees.
"He wouldn't understand… Moyashi… He's too far gone!" Kanda said picking himself up. "The only way to get through to him… Is to kill him!" Kanda said holding mugen out to Alma.
"Hey, Tyki... Where did Lord Kanda go?" Looking around Tyki didn't see Kanda anywhere. Looking down at Lavi he shrugged. "Do you think he went off on his own to find Allen…" He said a bit of worry clouding his green eyes.
"Don't worry about it lovely, he'll be fine, he's Allen's mate, he would do anything for him, and I don't think that includes dying any time soon!" Tyki said caressing Lavi's face. The red head leaned into the warm touch. "I guess you're right…"
"Tyki, Lavi, can you guys hear me?" Road's voice sounded in their heads.
"Yeah, we hear you! What's up?" Tyki said.
"You'll never guess what Lenalee and I just found… Well, better yet, who!"
"Is it Link?" Lavi growled. He was ready to kill that bastard for taking Allen away from them and betraying all of them!
"No, but if you come down to the lowest level where the dungeons are, you'll see what I mean!" Road said with a happy quip to her voice. Both men knew what that meant, whoever she had found, she was going to torture them, at least till they go there.
"Understood, we'll be there as soon as we can!" Tyki said and Road's voice disappeared. "So what are we going to do with all of them?" He asked looking down at all the foot soldiers the two had taken care of.
"Nothing, they shouldn't have gotten in our way, now let's go, hopefully we find Link on the way, cause I'm just itching to see what he as to say!" A shiver ran down Tyki's spine as he listened to his red head growl. He loved when Lavi was feisty and mad.
"Alright, alright!" He said with an amused smirk as he followed Lavi down some stairs.
As the two got farther and farther down, they were met with the same down almost every hall. Grunts were laid out unconscious or on the brink of it, all around and down the halls as they went farther down the castle. Most of the time there was water splashed around, meaning Lenalee had been there.
When they finally made it down to the dungeon Vaneal was laying outside, keeping guard of course. As they walked by the two pat the fox on the head telling him he was going a good job. Pushing the heavy door open, they were greeted with Road and Lenalee, as well as a man that was chained there to a wall.
"Who do we have here?" Tyki asked looking the man up and down. There weren't any serious wounds on him, but he indeed had some deep bruising on him. Tyki moved closer and lifted his face. This demon, was old.
"I'm guessing it's Rouvelier…" Road said with her hand under her chin in thought. "But… Why would the Lord of this realm be chained up in his own castle…?" She questioned allowed not to anyone in particular.
"Because precious Allen, or should I say the 14th inside him did quite a number on him!" A voice said from behind all of them. Turning, the room they had been standing in was completely covered in ice in an instant. Giving the room an almost blue glow as the light from the hall show in. "It was nice that all of you came here to rescue dear Allen and his child!"
"Oh, how I've been waiting to get my hands around that throat of yours!" Lavi growled when he turned to the blonde.
Link simply smirked. "I've missed you too, Lavi! How are your children?" He asked with an almost sadistic quip. Lavi growled deeply, and before he could lunge for the blonde Tyki stood in front of him blocking his red heads sight.
"It's one this to insult any of us, but the moment you bring my children into this, is the moment you just ask me to kill you!" Tyki growled with a calm face. Link simply widened his smirk.
"Oh well… I wasn't after your children anyways! I got what I needed, my "master" needed Allen to be revived!"
"You won't be reviving anybody today! We're taking Allen, and you'll die before you get the chance to try and use Allen!" Lavi said as he jumped over Tyki and lunged towards Link the two clashed in a flash of fire and ice. "You have no chance against me! Fire always burns away the sins of ice!" Lavi screeched as flames engulfed his fist and he landed a punch to Links face; burning on contact. With the force of the punch, Link was thrown back against a wall of his own ice, knocking the air from his body.
Lavi stood panting as he watching Link try to get up. Reaching for his hammer, a spear of ice pierced his leg where his holster held his hammer. Screaming out, Lavi grit his teeth. As Link stood the smirk that was on his face dropped to a scowl when a dark hand wrapped itself around his pale neck. "You'll pay for that!" Tyki said in a deathly low voice. Slamming him back up against the wall. Tyki held a vice grip against Links throat enough to slowly, and painfully squeeze the life from the blonde.
"Lavi…" Lenalee said in a soft voice as she stood in front of Lavi. "I'm going to melt the ice, it's going to sting but I can try a seal it up, okay?"
He looked at her with a pained face, and smiled. "'Kay, Lenalee…" Closing his eyes he bit down on his lip. Holding her hand in front of the ice she touch the spear and it melted away instantly, and went to cover Lenalee's hand. Biting down on his lip harder he let out a pained squeal.
"Do you see what you've done?" Tyki snarled, pushing Link farther into the ice laden wall.
"Doesn't matter, you're all going to die anyways- Agh!" Tyki dug his nails into Links throat, making blood pour out.
"I'm going to seal it now okay… Lavi?" Lenalee inquired letting her hand lay over the whole in Lavi's leg. "Its not that big, so I'll be able to seal it right up!" She said giving him a smile. He opened his eyes and smiled back at her before slamming them shut again when the flesh and meat in his leg began to form and seal back up. "All done!" She said ruffling his hair. "Do try to be more cautious!"
"Thanks Lenalee!" He said as he drew his hammer and it grew in size. "Let him go Tyki, this is my fight, he took My Lord! I'll kill him!" Lavi growled. Looking back at his mate, Tyki let Link fall to the ground. The look in Lavi's eyes made Tyki feel proud. His little fire bird sure was a ball of fire for sure! Bringing his hammer over his head, he hit Link with it, sending him into the wall to the left of Lavi. "Fight back!" He said as he hit Link again with his hammer. "It's no challenge if you just die!" Lavi yelled, as Link fell out of the wall; barely hanging on to his consciousness. "Get up!" He snarled pointing the tip of his hammer at Link. The blonde looked up at him with half lidded eyes. Lavi growled at the look he saw in his eyes. Hitting him again with his hammer he fell to the ground. "You took my Lord and the princess… Do you honestly think I'll give you any kind of mercy! No way in hell you bastard!" Lavi said as his hand became engulfed in fire. "Stand up now!"
With his face bloody and bruised, he gripped the wall with his hands to pull himself up. With a laugh he lunged at Lavi, and with a flick of his wrist Links body began to burn within Lavi's red flames. "M-Master… I… I- I'm so so-rry! I could revive you! Forgive me!" Link screamed before his body fell to the ground in a black heap of ash.
"It was a death, he didn't even deserve… He should have suffered more!" Tyki growled.
"Bravo… Little fire user!" A voice said from behind the group.
"You're Rouvelier, aren't you?" Road asked turning to the man that was still chained to the melting wall of ice.
"I am, indeed, I am Malcolm Rouvelier, and I am the Lord of this castle!" He said with a sick smile on his face. "I wish I could meet you under better circumstances but I seem to be in a bit of trouble… If you could just-"
"There's no way in hell we're untying you!" Road said, looking up to the man.
"You little brat! You better untie me and obey a dominant when he orders you!" He said before there was a hand wrapped around his throat.
"I would watch who you're talking to, you pitiful excuse for a demon!" Tyki said squeezing Rouvelier's throat.
"Don't kill him Tyki, we're taking him back!"
"Taking him where…" A calm, voice asked. Turning around to yet another new presence, the group was met with soft spoken woman. Vaneal growled at the woman but did not attack her as he wasn't ordered. Holding her hand out to the fox, he stopped his growling and laid back down.
Looking at her with surprise, the group looked at the woman in awe as she walked in to the ice covered room. She looked at Link's burned body and shook her head sadly. "Such a young boy…" She said before she looked up at the group. Walking over to Road and Tyki, Lavi and Lenalee watched her walk to them. "If you would, could you please release my mate's neck…?" She said in a gentle voice.
Looking to Road, she nodded and Tyki released Rouvelier from his group, the woman dipped her head to Tyki and turned to Malcolm. "At least you're good for something, now unchain me!" He growled at her as she simply looked up at him. "Do as you're told!" He snarled when she turned from him.
"Where ever you intend to take him… I must ask if you will allow me to come with you…" She said looking down at Road.
"Of course, but may I ask who you are?"
"I apologize, how rude of me! I am Hevlaska and I am his mate!" She said nodding her head towards Rouvelier.
"Well, I don't sense any kind of evil from you and would be happy if you come with us to be a neutral being for us." Road said holding out her hand to Hevlaska. She took it and dipped her head to Road. "Now that all of this has been taken care of, we'll just wait for Kanda to give us his signal! But first," She stood back in front of Rouvelier and looked up at him. "You'll be going to sleep in one of my dreams for a while!" She said as she reached up to his struggling form and touched his forehead. His body went limp and he fell against his chains. Turning to Tyki and said: "Take him down and drag him upstairs back to the roof. We will wait for Kanda and Allen at the portal!"
"Yes, mistress Road!"
"Hurry, Kanda, we won't be able to stay in this realm for too much longer!" She said looking to the door way where they had all come in.
A/n: I do apologize for it taking so long everyone! I had a bit of writers block in the very middle of this chapter but after going back and reading a section of the manga, it clicked! And if any of you were wondering the scene where Allen was talking to Alma and Kanda finally came; yes that was a scene I used form the manga that I just altered to fit into this story! Oh, and I wasn't all that fond of the scene with Lavi and Link... I'm actually a Link/Allen fan to some extent... and I like Link so I didn't have a lot of fun writing that scene, and sorry to all those Link fans! But Look forward to the next chapter soon! Allen will have his baby in the next chapter... So make sure to review and let me know how you felt about this chapter, and maybe depending on how many reviews I receive from this chapter will determine a few things in the next chapter so remember that when you guys finish this chapter! Thanks for reading and see you next chapter!
