DARTHEMIUS AN!

Not much of an AN again. I simply don't have much to say except for one thing…

You know, guys… The amount of reviews has been surprisingly low as of late. I don't know if it's my writing level dropping, or just slow updates, but I've found myself really losing all small motivation I had before. Even most people that used to review me before stopped. Tell me just one thing…

Do you think I should stop?

Well, that's all I wanted to share with you today. Have fun…

...

Chapter nine: Precautions.

"Hell yeah!" – talks.

'Art is a blast!' – thoughts.

"Know your role!" – demon blades.

"Katsu!" – demonic/jutsu.

...

Next day. Hokage's office…

"Well? Tell me the news?" Sasuke asked, crossing his arms as he, Sakura, Gai and Sandaime himself occupied the office.

"Certainly." Hiruzen replied. "But first I must ask you. Are you sure…?" He asked, doing a slight head motion at Sakura.

"Of course." Sasuke nodded. "Sakura possesses superior analytical abilities to us all. She is smart and don't forget that she also remembers the future."

"Oh, right." The Hokage shook his head. "I'm sorry for my forgetfulness. Now the news I bring are not exactly good. We weren't able to locate Tsunade. Instead we found her apprentice…" He said as his face fell.

"Shizune…" Sakura whispered. "She's dead, isn't she?"

"I'm afraid so." Hiruzen confirmed. "We have confirmed it was Naruto."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "How if I may ask?"

"She was shot in the head with that weapon you tried to explain to me before. We have found several villagers here in Konoha killed the same way. There is no doubt. Besides, we have a witness." Sandaime stated. "A local barmen saw the entire interaction. He said that Tsunade approached by a group of four. One was identified as Naruto. And he said that Naruto did something to Tsunade after which she took that… gun from him and shot Shizune herself."

Sakura closed her eyes in grief. "Shizune-sempai… Wait a second! That barmen saw the entire thing, and they let him go?!"

"Yes, he was surprised himself." Hiruzen explained. "He said that one of them wanted to take his life, but others denied him that."

"Strange." Sasuke muttered. "Naruto is not exactly known for self-restraint."

"That's where you're wrong." Gai suddenly spoke. "You've only actually seen Naruto… the real Naruto, after he already became a demon. And there is a slight problem with that."

Sasuke's eyebrows furrowed. "Explain yourself."

Gai took a deep breath. "You see, I think that Naruto's behavior was influenced by his demonic part. He…"

"Of course it was!" The Uchiha snapped. "He murdered millions! He destroyed villages, towns and even whole countries! He…"

"That's exactly my point." Gai interrupted. "He was not himself."

"Yes, he was!"

"No, he wasn't." It was the Hokage this time. "I actually agree with Gai on this one. If what you say is true, and he really is responsible for the Hyuga incident and… near destruction of your clan, then he can't just be simply a homicidal maniac."

"That's right. He was much more subtle and calculating before becoming a demon. Hell, he almost stole the forbidden scroll of sealing right from under our noses."

"Hmm…" Sasuke paused. "Suppose you're right, what then? What's the problem?"

"The problem is that you haven't seen that side of his." Gai explained. "And he just might have returned right to it."

"Oh my god, that can actually be right." Sakura said deep in thought. "This means it will be much harder to outsmart him like we did before."

"Outsmart him?!" Sasuke exclaimed sarcastically. "Since when did we outsmart him?!"

"Remember the Konoha invasion, Sasuke?" The kunoichi replied. "When we used elders to banish him? Or when we used seals on Konoha to prevent him from teleporting here? Or when the Order…" Her eyes widened. "That's right, the Order!"

Sasuke rolled his eyes…

"You're talking about these people who helped you during the battle of Iwa?" Gai asked. "You might be right. Their intentions were by no means pure, but they were helpful."

"Yes, we can at least join forces for mutual benefit." Sakura agreed.

Sasuke rolled his eyes again…

"Very well. Tell me their location so I can send ANBU to contact them." Hiruzen spoke, taking a piece of paper.

"Well, I don't really know where they are…" Sakura began. "They appeared so suddenly and…"

"Enough." Sasuke finally spoke. "They're already dead." He said, making everyone's eyes widen.

"Dead?" Sakura asked. "But why?"

"Naruto, why else?!"

Gai's eyebrows rose. "You think he already took them out?"

Sasuke shrugged. "That's what I would've done…"

Some far away church…

"If the events of that terrible time were to reoccur, the fusing of both the demonic and human realms, we, weak humans, would have no means by which to oppose our submission. And so I ask you to unite. And pray that even if such a dark time of chaos were to revisit us, our gracious Savior would shelter us from the storm. Let us pray!"

BLAST.

Everyone jumped in their seats when the front door was suddenly blasted away, revealing a single young man in black coat and sunglasses.

"Who are you?" The old man on the pedestal asked, narrowing his eyes. "Why have you disturbed our sacred ceremony?"

"Hmhmhmhm." The young man chuckled darkly, slowly walking inside. "Rejoice, old man… For your prayers have been answered."

"W-What?"

"Oh? Weren't it you, who just rallied these people to pray so that the fusion of the demonic and human realms won't happen?" The young man grinned. "Well smile, because it really won't happen."

The old man looked at him in confusion. "…Who are you?"

The young man slapped his forehead. "Of course, where are my manners… Besides, I haven't done that in a while." With that he straightened his coat and readjusted his sunglasses. "Well, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! Shield your eyes and cover your ears, for you are witnessing the brilliance of one and only… The jabroni beating! LALALALALALAAAAAAAAAW! Pie eating! Trail blazing! Eyebrow raising! Glasses wearing! People killing! And, without a shadow of doubt, the toughest son of a bitch there ever was! Great Uzumaki Naruto!"

Old man's eyes widened. "Uzumaki Na… But that's impossible! You should be…!"

"I should be drinking and having sex!" Naruto interrupted. "Instead I have to do this thing all over again. BUT! To spare myself the trouble of waiting for you imbeciles to show yourself, I decided to come to you myself."

"You will not stop us!" The old man screamed. "Soldiers! Kill him!"

"Oh, wait, wait, wait!" Naruto exclaimed, waving his hands. "Before you do that, let me just… speed up the process a little." With that he raised his right hand and snapped his fingers.

CRACK.

Everyone looked up to see a large man in a red coat burst through the ceiling and land right in front of the old man on the pedestal.

"Good morning!" The newcomer greeted… before taking out his gun and aiming it right at the old man's forehead.

BANG.

"YOUR HOLINESS!"

"Now…" Naruto said with a devilish grin. "Now you can kill them all."

Konohagakure no sato. Hokage's office…

"So you're sure they're dead…" Gai muttered under his breath.

"Absolutely." Sasuke stated, crossing his arms. "If we want to dispose of Naruto once and for all, we have to forget about any help we used in the past. That includes the Order and summons."

"Wait, we can't abandon summons!" The Hokage argued. "They're our companions and…"

"And useless." Sasuke interrupted. "If Naruto was able to defeat them all before, they're useless against him now. All we can do now is unite all of shinobi nations against him."

"So you're saying summons are worthless…" Hiruzen summarized. "But humans are not?"

"You are forgetting something, Hokage-sama." Sakura spoke. "Or to be frank, you don't know it yet."

"Don't know what?"

"What Naruto initially wanted." The kunoichi stated.

"And that is?"

"The world." Sakura finished. "He wanted to become the single ruler of everything. Not just the human world, but the demonic world as well. And though he failed, he was this close to doing just that."

"No." Sasuke suddenly stated. "That's not what he wants anymore."

Even Sakura was surprised by this. "What do you mean, Sasuke-kun?"

"I can understand how he thinks." Sasuke stated. "Too many variables…"

Now Hiruzen was completely confused. "Can you translate this please?"

The Uchiha sighed at this. "That means too many unknown factors. You see, Naruto believed he knew everything. But there is a force out there that can break all his plans…" He snapped his fingers. "…Just like that. And until he understands it all, he will not rest."

"And?" The Hokage asked. "What can we do about that?"

"…Absolutely nothing."

The Order of the Sword headquarters…

"C-Credo…?"

Girl named Kyrie never gave into despair. She always understood that she lived in a cruel world, a violent world. World that can break a person in less than a second. Yet she never gave up. Kyrie always thought that if she can ease people's sufferings, even just a little, than it's enough. And she actually believed that…

Until today.

Today Kyrie has finally realized that she didn't even know the meaning of words cruelty and violence. One by one she saw her friends, accomplices and fellow order members get massacred by a group of… She didn't even know how to describe these… people. She wanted to say demons at first, but no. Demons would be a complement to those… creatures.

Yes, they all looked ridiculously humane, but only a madman could call them that.

One was a girl with long black hair that had some infernal monsters at her command. And they literally tore people to pieces and eat them alive while said girl… danced around soldiers, who attacked her in desperation.

Second was a man… who didn't even need any monsters. He was one himself. All of them were, but this man? He… bit his enemies and drank their blood! And that's when Kyrie thought she had seen everything…

Third was a woman with long blond hair. She was dressed in a tight leather outfit and was less terrifying than others… But twice as deadly. That's because unlike others she didn't play with her enemies and simply strike them down with her sword, or incinerated them with strange yellow lightnings.

And finally… Kyrie shuddered, turning her head to the fourth and final person in the enemy group. He was by far the scariest. No, he wasn't ugly as hell. On the contrary, it was quite a handsome young man with spikey blond hair and a pair of sunglasses on his face. And no again, he was not committing atrocities like others as well. Then what he did?

Absolutely nothing.

Indeed, this man just stood there, with his hands crossed in front of his chest and simply observed… Until her brother Credo approached him with a naked sword. What happened next was a scene thorn directly from a nightmare. The blond man didn't even lift a finger. Instead, several strange spiritual swords appeared around Credo and pierced him from all sides next moment.

And that's where Kyrie found herself now… staring into dead glassy eyes of her brother.

"Hey, Naruto!"

The blond man turned his head to see another blond woman appear beside him out of thin air.

"Did you find her, Tsunade?" He asked.

"Uh-uh." The woman named Tsunade shook her head. "I don't know if they hid her somewhere else, or simply haven't resurrected her yet, but I wasn't able to find any traces."

"Hmm…" Naruto looked around… until his eyes finally fell on a terrified red haired girl, hiding behind a bench. "Well, let's see."

Kyrie's entire life flashed before her eyes as the man named Naruto slowly approached her. Step by step she counted what most likely were the last moments of her life.

"This might sting a bit." He finally said, touching her forehead with two fingers.

Kyrie's head exploded with pain… however it was over almost as soon as it began.

"Oi! Hanabi, Trish, Alucard! Finish it, we're leaving!" Naruto called, withdrawing his hand.

"Ho? Found her already?" Alucard replied, letting another bloodless corpse fall on the floor.

"No, she's not here." Naruto stated, waving his hands. "I assume she does not even exist in this world."

"Is that even possible?" Tsunade asked.

"Naturally." Naruto said with a shrug. "The whole Uchiha clan is alive… well, almost whole. So it's completely possible that someone else can be dead in their stead. Luckily for me, it was that bitch Misako. Well, at least I won't get any nasty surprises like last time." He turned his head. "Are you done?"

"Some civilians are still alive…" Trish responded.

"Leave them." Naruto commanded. "They are irrelevant."

"Got it!" Hanabi approached him with a cheerful smile. "When will we finally get to the dessert?"

"Later." Naruto replied. "First I need to…"

"Oh? What have we here?" Alucard asked, finally noticing Kyrie's presence.

"Don't even think about it." Naruto stopped the vampire in his tracks. "She's a virgin."

"Checked already?" Trish exclaimed with a smirk.

"I did." Naruto said, furrowing his eyebrows. "And we don't need more vampires running around. Leave her."

"You're just gonna let her escape?" Tsunade asked. "Even after she has seen all our faces and heard our names?"

"Ahahahaha!" Naruto laughed. "In about a week the whole world is gonna know all that and more. She's useless for my goals and powerless to stop me. We came here to destroy the order and we did, let's not waste more time."

"Exactly!" Hanabi exclaimed. "Let's go straight to bed!"

"Not yet. I have to do one more thing first." Naruto stated. "But I alone will be enough for that. You four go to the Rice Field country. Find there my associate named CC. If my guess is correct, she will find you herself."

"And where are you going?" Trish asked.

"I'm gonna take a little… precaution. Go." He said and four others disappeared on his command. "Actually… hey, girl?"

Kyrie slowly raised her head to look at him.

"Do you want to live?"

Unable to squeeze any words from herself, she simply nodded.

"Good, then do me a little favor." With that he pulled down his sunglasses and Kyrie's heart skipped a beat… or five. "Go to a village named Konohagakure. Find Uchiha Sasuke there. And say that we're not done… not by a long shot. Got it?" He asked as flames started to engulf his body.

"Y-Yes."

Konohagakure no sato. Dungeon…

"What are we doing here?" Sasuke asked, entering a dark room with no windows.

"We are here…" Sandaime began, closing the door behind him. "…Because I managed to complete at least a part of our plans. You can reveal yourself now."

And just as he said that a single man stepped forward into the light. The face was familiar to Sasuke, though he could not remember where from. The clothing however…

"Akatsuki?" Sakura asked, voicing his thoughts.

"Well, that was fast." Sasuke stated, crossing his arms. "Fancy explaining yourself?"

"Wait… Shisui?" Gai asked quietly. "Is that you, Shisui?"

"Hai, it is me." The man exclaimed, removing his hat.

"Shisui…" Sasuke whispered the name. 'Where did I hear that name before?'

"The second person who wasn't at the clan meeting was Uchiha Shisui. Earlier today he was found dead. He was your close friend, Itachi. You said it yourself that you thought of him as your brother…"

"Uchiha Shisui!" Sasuke exclaimed loudly. "But you're supposed to be…"

"Dead, I know." The man replied. "But I couldn't die… not after Itachi gave his life to me."

"He… what?"

Shisui looked down. "Itachi, he… When no one believed him about Uzumaki Naruto, Itachi decided to bring out the truth by any means necessary. He told me that he will most likely die. And if that is to happen, he asked me to leave the village. He said that if Naruto were to learn about my power, than all is lost."

"Your power?" Sasuke thought for a moment. "Don't tell me…"

"Yes." Shisui's eyes shifted. "I have Mangekyo Sharingan. And when Itachi was found dead, I made a deal with Hokage-sama. I took the blame for Itachi's death and left the village as a criminal. My mission was to infiltrate the organization named Akatsuki as a double agent and analyze the potential threat."

Sasuke smiled in amusement. "And? Did you?"

"I did, but… Sasuke-kun, prior to our meeting Hokage-sama told me at you have information about Uzumaki Naruto's skills. I want you to tell me."

Sasuke glanced at Sandaime, who nodded in response. "Sigh… Are you sure?"

"Yes. I must know that Itachi did not die in vain."

That did the trick.

"Very well. It's better for you to know beforehand anyway." Sasuke closed his eyes for a second and then opened them sharply. "Sharingan!"

Next moment Shisui found himself in the middle of a large city.

"Uzumaki Naruto… The man I once called my best friend…" Sasuke's voice echoed in his head.

"Fatal Eclipse!"

"He placed himself above humanity and discarded it like a useless tool." Sasuke said again as Shisui watched the whole city become nothing but dust in a matter of seconds.

"A weapon given to him by his father to fight evil of this world…"

"Fuinjutsu: Shiki Fujin!"

"He used as something to unleash his own evil upon the very place he was supposed to protect…"

"Soul Drain!"

"Friends…"

SLASH.

"Family…"

SLASH.

"Home…"

BLAST.

"He has discarded everything he had for power he possesses now. And this power will destroy… not just him, but everyone else is well. He must be stopped. Otherwise… there will be no otherwise."

Shisui took a step back in shock. "All that… did it actually happen?"

"That and more." Sasuke stated. "I only know so much."

The older Uchiha gulped the lump in his throat. "H-Hokage-sama? Is there a way to use my special power against him?"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow at this. "Special power?"

"Yes. I possess a unique power even by Mangekyo standards." Shisui explained. "A genjutsu called Koto-amatsukami. It allows me to enforce my will upon anyone without him even realizing it. For example, I can make you hate Konoha, and you will. But more importantly, you will genuinely believe that your wish to hate Konoha is your own."

Sakura's eyebrows rose. "That's… amazing."

"But will it work against someone like Naruto?" Gai immediately wondered.

"Doubtful." Sasuke concluded. "Genjutsu is, after all, a chakra skill. So it can only be used on beings that have chakra."

"Still worth a try." Sakura parried. "Besides, we can test it on some low level demons first. If it works for them, it might also work on Naruto and…" Her eyes widened.

"Everything okay, Sakura?" Sasuke looked at her worriedly.

"Y-Yeah, it's okay. I'll tell you when the meeting is over."

"Very well." Sasuke turned to the Hokage. "It's good that you have a contact in Akatsuki, but what about the rest of them?"

"They are mostly mercenaries and criminal outcasts." Shisui answered instead. "They won't be hard to convince to work with us. The problem is the leader… Or at least it was a problem."

"What do you mean, Shisui-kun?" Hiruzen asked.

"Simple. Leader's goal includes the capture of all nine biju. If what you said about Naruto is true, than that plan is doomed already."

"It is." Sasuke nodded. "And if they disagree with Naruto being a real threat to them, please don't forget to inform those leaders, that he already killed them once and knows all of their weaknesses."

"I will. Is there anything else you wish of me, Hokage-sama? Or should I depart?" Shisui asked.

"Wait, Shisui-san!" Sakura suddenly called. "Actually there is something I wish to ask of you."

"What is it?"

"Can you use your… special power?" The girl asked. "Like… right now?"

"Why would you need it for?" The Hokage asked as his eyes narrowed slightly.

"It's not for me, it's for… someone else." Sakura exclaimed, looking down for some reason.

"Who is it?" Shisui wondered. "And what did they do for you to actually revert to… that?"

"I don't know the full extent of what she did, but I believe it's the only chance for her."

Hiruzen tilted his head to the side. "She?"

Sasuke's eyes widened…

The Land of Swamps…

"Kaa-sama!" A young girl screamed at her mother in fear.

"You've been disrupting my plans for way too long, Miroku." Some strange bodiless being of dark energy said. "I don't need your power anymore. But you must also understand what that means…"

Woman named Miroku glanced over her shoulder sharply. "Shion! Where is your bell?!"

"Ah! I…"

"DIE!"

Next second a great mass of dark purple energy attacked the little girl from above.

"SHION!" The woman screamed and rushed to her daughter, but…

"Hmhmhmhmhm." A dark chuckle suddenly came from the place Shion should've been. "Made it just in time it seems."

(Starting song: "Endless Despair" By Daisuke Ishiwatari)

"You…" A hollow demonic voice echoed. "Who are you?"

The dust finally cleared, revealing a young blond man in sunglasses, standing in front of trembling Shion.

"I could tell you, but I completely don't want to." The man stated. "Besides, I don't feel like explaining myself to a piece of garbage. Now shut up."

"What?! Do you know who I am?! I am Moryo! The…!"

"Bakudo #73 Tozanshou."

"Gah!" Moryo gasped as he was suddenly trapped inside of some blue energy pyramid. "What magic is this?!"

"I told you to shut up." The blond man repeated, compressing the pyramid a little.

"Gyah! S-Stop this!"

The blond simply ignored demon's plea and turned to the woman. "Priestess Miroku I take it?"

Miroku glared at him, preparing for the worst. "What do you want, creature?"

The man raised an eyebrow. "Creature? Is that any way to treat a man who just saved your daughter's life?" He glanced at the little girl. "Go ahead, run to your mommy."

Hesitantly at first, Shion took a few steps around the stranger and then, realizing that it was safe, dashed to her mother as fast as she could and hid behind her.

"Awww, how cute." The man commented.

"Tch." Miroku gritted her teeth. "Enough! Who you are? What do you want?!"

"Ah, forgive my lack of manners." The man said and bowed gracefully. "The name is Uzumaki Naruto. And I am here with a little proposition…"

"I refuse." The woman cut him off abruptly. "Now begone, demon. You will not find any servants here."

"Servants?" Naruto asked in amusement. "Oh, but you are so very wrong, my fair maiden… By the way, is it okay to call a woman who has a kid a maiden?"

Miroku just glared at him more intensely.

"Hahaha, alright fine." The demon waved his hand. "I'll tell you what I want." He said, walking closer. "And you should really hear this out, woman. It might save your life… literally."

"I'm not afraid of dying." Miroku stated confidently. "Priestess' life is a sacrifice."

"Ah…" Naruto's face twisted in an evil grin. "While that may be true, and while you might really not care if you live or die, I suggest you look… down there." He said, pointing his finger.

Miroku did and… gasped. Her daughter was looking up at her with shaking tear filled eyes.

"Sh-Shion…"

"Kaa-sama…" Shion sobbed. "Are you going to die?"

Miroku's heart was about to split in two just from seeing that.

"Well, isn't it a sad thought?" Naruto asked mockingly. "A cute little girl, who only has her mother she adores very much, is gonna lose her in about ten minutes. How horrible… How horrible indeed."

Miroku's own eyes watered. "Enough… I believe in my daughter, she is strong."

"Nah, not really." Naruto exclaimed, looking somewhere to the side. "I know for a fact that she will spend next half a decade by pitying herself and snapping at everyone else. Oh, and she will be completely lonely through all that."

"How do you know that?!" Miroku turned to him sharply. "Do you possess farseeing powers?"

"Nah, not really." Naruto replied. "And while I can explain how I know it and where I learned it from, I completely don't want to. And besides, the explanation will take too long. My proposition, however, will not."

The woman hesitated for some more moments, but then looked down in shame. "I'm listening."

"Finally!" Naruto exclaimed happily, raising his hands in a relieved gesture. "I thought it would be at least five more minutes down the guilt line… No matter. Tell me first, priestess Miroku, were you going to sacrifice yourself to seal this piece of trash right before I arrived?"

"…Yes, I was."

"And that's exactly what I'm proposing." Naruto stated. "I waste him instead of you. You get to keep your life and your daughter. Watch her grow up, get married and maybe even give you some grandchildren."

"O-Oi…" Moryo raised his voice.

"I told you to be quiet." Naruto snapped at him.

The woman remained silent for some moments. "…And? What do I have to do in return?"

"Don't worry, nothing grand. Call it a little… precaution on my side." Naruto explained. "Last time I almost paid the ultimate price for being too careless. I won't do so again. In fact, you won't even have to do a damn thing if the events will turn out one hundred percent in my favor. But if they won't… I will require you do one thing and one thing only.

"I…" Miroku began, when shu suddenly felt something tugging on her dress. She looked down to see Shion's crying face.

"Kaa-sama… Please don't go." The little girl pleaded. "Don't leave me, kaa-sama!"

"Yes, don't leave her, kaa-sama." Naruto mocked. "You don't want your daughter crying for hours over your dead body, right?"

"Gh." Miroku gritted her teeth. "You are a cruel man, Uzumaki Naruto."

"Aren't we all?" Naruto asked, spreading his hands. "However right now I'm being cruel to someone else and being nice to you. It will be foolish to waste such an opportunity, don't you think? Don't you love your daughter? Don't you want her to be happy?"

"…I'll do it."

Naruto's grin widened. "Excellent." He said, pointing his right hand at the pyramid with Moryo.
"Time to die."

"W-Wait! Forget about that foul woman!" Moryo yelled. "I can be more than just a debtor; I can be your ally!"

"I don't need any more allies." Naruto stated, creating a sphere of black energy on the tip of his fingers. "They will only slow me down."

"NO!"

"Cero Oscuras!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

"KAA-SAMA!"

"Close your ears, Shion!" Miroku yelled, covering her daughter with her own body from a massive surge of energy that tore the pyramid, along with Moryo, to bits. The force of the blast was so overwhelming that they both were almost sent flying. There was something, however, that was keeping them in place.

'Of course, he needs us alive.' Miroku thought, concluding that it was Naruto who shielded them. 'Me at least.'

"Hmhmhmhmhm." Said demon chuckled when the last energy pieces finally disappeared from view. "That was quick, ne?" He asked smugly, walking closer. "Now about what you can do for me…"

Konohagakure no sato. T&I dungeons…

"SAKURA!" Ino screamed, running over and hugging her friend. "Thank god you're back! Please tell me you've come to get me out."

"Indeed I did." The pink haired girl stated, hugging her back.

"R… Sob… Really?" The blond leaned back a little to look in Sakura's eyes.

"Yes." Sakura smiled gently. "We're here to get you out."

"About damn time." Neji grunted, standing up.

"Don't be like that, Neji-kun." Uchiha Mikoto said, smiling at him. "I knew it was just a misunderstanding."

Sakura's smile fell. "I wish it would've been so, Mikoto-san."

The woman tilted her head in confusion. "What do you mean, dear?"

Instead of reply, Sakura simply stood aside, dragging Ino with her… And allowing two other ninja to dash past them.

"Gah!" Mikoto gasped in shock and pain when her body was suddenly slammed into a cell wall. "Wh-What's going on?!" She asked as she was being restrained by four strong arms.

"It is you who should be answering this question…" One more person stepped into the light. "…Mother."

Mikoto's eyes widened. "Sasuke-kun? What are you talking about I don't understand…"

"Of course you do." Sasuke interrupted, walking closer. "Last time I learned it only post-factum. But now… Tell me, mother what was it?"

"Huh?"

"What made you join Naruto?"

Woman's mouth opened in shock. Quickly she took a glance at her surroundings, noticing the looks Sasuke, Sakura and two ANBU gave her. 'They don't even doubt my involvement. Well then…' She finally closed her eyes and…

"Hmhm…"

"What?"

"Hmhmhmhmhahahaha!" Mikoto laughed hard. "What made me you ask?! Nothing!"

Now it was Sasuke who stared in shock. Not because of the information, but because of the voice his mother had. It was the same, yet completely different from what he remembered. Cruel… Sadistic… Uncaring. Everything he didn't associate with his mother…

Just like Naruto told him…

"Tch." Sasuke hissed through gritted teeth. "You killed Itachi I take it."

"You can say that." Mikoto replied. "Little shit didn't know his place, so I had to kindly point it to him."

"Kindly, huh…"

"Oh yes." The woman grinned. "Allow me to elaborate…"

Sasuke's eyes widened. "MOVE!"

"Mangekyo Sharingan!"

BLAST.

"Sakura!"

"I'm okay!" The girl exclaimed, still holding onto Ino's terrified body.

"Wh-What was that?" A shocked Neji asked as he was placed back on the ground by one of the ANBU.

"That, boy, is what made the Uchiha better than Hyuga." Mikito responded, walking out of the dust cloud. "My family's ultimate doujutsu… Mangekyo Sharingan." She stated as her Sharingan eyes twisted again, forming a six petal flower.

"Ultimate…" Sasuke muttered. "That means…"

"You guessed it right, you little shit." His mother said, cocking her head back arrogantly. "Not just Mangekyo Sharingan… Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan!"

"Itachi…"

"Exactly!" Mikoto confirmed. "I don't know how you learned that information… or about Naruto-kun for that matter, but you made my life much easier." She said as dark green chakra started to form around her.

"What is that, Sasuke?" One of the ANBU asked.

"The strongest Mangekyo technique, Susannoo." The youngest Uchiha stated. "Be on your guard, Kakashi. This has just become much harder than we initially thought."

The ANBU nodded. "What do you propose?"

"We cannot let her escape this building. If she does, she will be able to use civilians and weaker shinobi to cover her escape. And that is something I cannot allow." Sasuke explained.

"Aww, how cute." Mikoto exclaimed, extending her Susannoo and creating armor around it. "Afraid to let your mommy go?"

"Yes, I am." Sasuke said angrilly. "For if I let you do that, it will be Naruto's victory… I'd rather see you die! Now!"

"Fuuinjutsu: Sonhou Fuuin!"

"What?!" Mikoto exclaimed in shock when a pyramidal barrier appeared around her. "Tch. Don't underestimate…" She tried to break it down with her Susannoo sword, but it dissipated instead, furthering her surprise.

"You didn't actually think that I came unprepared?" Sasuke asked, relaxing his stance as six more ANBU landed behind him. "I'm not taking any chances with Naruto's accomplices. This barrier negates all chakra that comes from the inside… However." He placed his hand on the ground. "Outside chakra is a whole different story. Chidori Nagashi!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Mikoto screamed in pain as she was electrocuted by Sasuke's jutsu.

"S-Sasuke-kun…" Ino whispered in awe. Yes, she always admired Sasuke, but she never knew what he was truly capable of.

Neji on the other hand felt different. 'What the hell is going on here? And why do I feel so out of place?' He thought. 'This Uchiha kid though… He's strong. Maybe he could even provide me with some challenge…'

"Did you actually think you would be able to escape from the village on your own?" Sasuke asked, standing back up.

"Cough… Sasuke…" Mikoto stood up slowly. "You little piece of shit! I should've killed you when you were born!"

Now Sasuke hated to admit it, but it actually hurt. Hearing your own mother saying something like this… It wasn't really heartwarming.

"So what now?! Are you going to kill me?"

"Kill you?" Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "I could actually… Your death won't bring me as much pain as it did once. But no, there is one other thing I have in mind."

"Huh?"

"You see, killing you will be a small victory." The teen continued as one more person approached him from behind. "All these years Naruto was the one taking things from me… My turn."

Mikoto stared at the newcomer in shock. "You! That's impossible! You should be dead!"

"Dead? No… Redeemed, yes." The young man responded. "Mangekyo Sharingan!"

"NO!"

...

Well, that's it. As I said, it will be the last chapter in the arc regardless. Next time (if there is one) it will start on a new one.

And to not leave myself half-done…

Omake: Naruto versus Overlord Zenon part two…

...

Holt Village. Adell's house…

Naruto (Waking up): Uuuuuuugh…

Laharl: Finally awake I see.

Naruto: Ugh… Who in the blue hell are you?

Laharl: Laharl the Overlord. Don't you remember? We…

Naruto: No…

Laharl: Ouch, that hurt. What happened to you?

Naruto: Fucking Darth happened… Fucking Darth and fucking vodka… I swear I'm never drinking again.

Laharl: HAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! Bullshit, man. And I know we're not that close, but there ain't no way in hell you're gonna do that.

Naruto: Touche… Who are you again?

Laharl: Laharl the… Oh, no matter. Come on, I can explain it all outside…

Outside…

Naruto: Fuck, I hate the Sun…

Laharl: Hey, look who's up.

Rozalin (Waving a hand in front of her face): Yuk. Could at least take a shower before coming out.

Naruto: Fuck you, bitch.

Rozalin: WHAT?!

Naruto: You deaf, bitch?!

Rozalin: Why you…!

Adell: Ah, you're up! (Taking a battle stance) Now we can finally fight!

Naruto: No way… (Clutching his head) You were going to tell what I'm doing here…

Laharl: Well…

Adell's mother: Let me please, Laharl-san.

Naruto (With 'what the fuck' expression): Shit, you have an eye in the middle of your forehead, you know…

Adell's mother (Smiling): Oh-ho! Of course I know. It's been there for a while. Now look here, Naruto-san. We summoned you here for you to do our bidding…

Naruto (Snorting): You've wasted your time then. There is only one man I listen to… And that's only because I don't want to go back to Kishimoto.

Laharl (Flinching): Yeow.

Naruto: What, you know him?

Laharl: No, but you said it with such hatred that I even felt it.

Naruto: You bet! Try wearing fucking orange jumpsuits for ten years.

Everyone present: Damn…

Naruto: And it's not even the worst part! How can this idiot not understand that my damn dick can't fit in that stupid suit?! Do you know how much effort it takes to keep it hidden during shooting?!

Adell's mother: Well, as sad as that is, I'm afraid we're still going to require your help, Naruto-san. You cannot refuse.

Naruto: Watch me… (Disappearing in a flash of black and reappearing in the same spot) What the hell?!

Etna: Duh, they summoned you, buddy. So you must either do what they say or kill that Adell guy.

Flonne: Yay! Naruto-san is gonna help us! Can you teach me something more after that?

Naruto (Slapping his face): Fine… What do you want from me?

Adell: I need to find and defeat Overlord Zenon! Only then all humans will return to normal!

Naruto (Waving his hand): Why would a demon care about a bunch of humans?

Adell (With wide eyes): W-What?!

Hanako: Adell-niisan is not a demon. He's the only one Zenon's curse does not affect.

Naruto: It doesn't affect him because he is a fucking demon already.

Laharl: Now that you think of it… Even in my weakened state, no human could do such damage.

Etna: Ho, now it makes sense!

Adell: No, it doesn't! I'm a human! I'm…

Naruto: Oh shut up! You know, I take it back. I'm not going to help you. (Pulling out his gun) Yeah, this will be much faster.

BANG.

Rozalin (Jumping in front of Adell): I won't let you.

CLANG.

Naruto (Watching in surprise how his bullet was repelled by some kind of barrier): Ho? A seal? Oh well… (Dismissing his gun and raising right hand again) Hadou #54 Haien!"

CRACK.

Adell: Ro-Rozalin…? What did you do?!

Naruto (Shrugging): No idea.

FLASH.

Etna: Huh? Rozy disappeared?

Laharl: Oh, I have a bad feeling about this…

Etna: Why?

Laharl: A strong sense of déjà vu…

Flonne: Oh, look up!

'Rozalin': Who has awakened me from my slumber?

Adell: R-Rozalin?

Naruto: Oh, oh! It was that red haired guy… Adell I think!

'Rozalin': Are you my enemy?

Adell: What? No, we…

Naruto (With a shit eating grin): Yes, they are. They aaaaaall are!

'Rozalin': I am a being of solitude. Everyone is my enemy.

Naruto (Shaking his head): The girl just needs a good fuck…

Laharl: Bad idea, man. She's bad news.

Naruto: I don't even know who… (Turning to Rozalin): Hey! Yeah, you! What is your name?

'Rozalin': Don't you know, you weak fool? I am Zenon! The god…

Naruto: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR… Wait, did you say Zenon?

Zenon: Yes, and you will pay for your ignorance.

Naruto (Watching in satisfaction how his body glowed white for a second): Haha, oh for some reason I really doubt that. These guys, however, are dying to have some fun with you. See ya! (Disappearing in a flash of black)

Laharl (Rolling his eyes): For some reason I knew it was gonna end like this…

Zenon: Are you my enemy?

Adell (Rushing towards Zenon): Rozalin! Get a hold of yourself!

THUNDERCRASH.

Laharl, Etna and Flonne (Flinching): Ouch…

Zenon: Dark Liberation!

Laharl (Looking at the sky): Etna?

Etna: Yes?

Laharl: Remind me to never ask that guy for help.

Etna: Certainly.

KO!

Winner: Overlord Zenon!

Five hours later…

Laharl: Hey Flonne! Where is the damn popcorn?

Flonne: Coming!

Laharl: Nice! I can never get enough of seeing Adell getting his ass kicked.

Etna: Well yeah, that's great to watch, but aren't you going to do something about it?

Laharl: Why should I?

THUNDERCRASH.

Etna: Well, who's going to feed you if they all die?

Laharl (With wide eyes): Shit, I haven't thought of that…

Etna: Obviously. You rarely do this anyway…

Laharl: Oh, shut up… But what should I do? She is a tough nut to… A nut… Hmm, I wonder if that'll work.

Etna: What do you have in mind?

Flonne: Oh, Laharl-san! Are you going to try… that?

Laharl (Shrugging): I'm not sure I can take her on in a fight even after all this time, so there is really no other choice.

Enta: What are you two talking about?

Flonne: Oh, you're about to see, Etna-san! Laharl-san became quite good at this.

Etna: Good at wha… (Eyes widening) Oh my god…

Laharl: Hey, Rozalin! Look what I've got!

Zenon: W-What are you doing?! N-No! Don't touch me there! KYAH!

Etna (Staring in shock): Oh my… Is that his…?

Flonne: Yup!

Etna: Is that what you two were always about at nights?!

Flonne: Not exactly…

Etna: How so?

Flonne: At nights and in the mornings.

...

And that's all. Be bad and drink cola! Also…

Fuck like hell and sleep well!

Darthemius.
