A/n: For people who do not read Naruto, I want to tell you that Sasuke left the village for revenge and to get trained by Orochimaru, who had his own plans for what to do with him. Sasuke's entire clan was wiped out by the Elders of Konoha who had ordered Sasuke's older brother, Itachi to kill his own parents. Itachi was a determined person, but he loved Sasuke too much to kill him, so when he left him, the Elders of Konoha decided on killing Itachi. Itachi escaped, and young Sasuke thought Itachi was behind all the mess. He knew Itachi was way more powerful then him, so he trained hard. But when he heard Orochimaru was going to make him his student, he agrees. Itachi is in the Akatsuki, but Sasuke kills him later on in the Manga. He realizes his mistake, and decides to take over Konoha. This is the part when Sasuke is leaving the village.
Ch. 9 Sweet dreams...again
I was in a dark street this time, and something told me that this was the only way out of the village. Village? Konoha, something in my head answered. I knew I heard that somewhere, but I couldn't remember where. There were buildings around me, with Japanese letterings on them. Then I saw a girl with soft pink hair, but sad green eyes. Her hair was cut short, with a headband to hold loose strands back. I recognized her as a younger Sakura, around twelve-thirteen. She was standing in the middle, staring at the brick pattern on the road.
Then a guy with bluish-black hair came walking up the road with a backpack on. His hands were stuffed inside his pockets. It seemed as if he was determined to go towards a set destination and wasn't going to look back. And then he noticed Sakura.
"What are you doing here in the middle of the night?" he asked her coldly. But there was a glow to his face.
Sasuke! I stared at him, wondering if it was really him.
"This is the only way out of the village," she shot back. "All those things we've done together as team #7! Why don't you remember?"
Sasuke said something like, "I am in the Uchiha clan. My purpose is to avenge. The past doesn't matter to me. Now I've chosen my path and I'm going to seek revenge."
Sakura started to cry, hopeless heart-broken sobs. I immediately felt something in my heart throb. She really didn't want him to go. I was a guy so I didn't really know about all this stuff, but I could tell she really had feelings for him.
"Why don't you ever listen to me, Sasuke?" she yelled. It went on for a while until Sakura was screaming to him, "I love you Sasuke! I don't want you to leave. I'll scream and the whole village will come…I'll…"
It didn't take a smart kid to know what was going on. Sasuke was leaving the village. Suddenly Sasuke wasn't in front of her, with his back faced to her anymore. There was a rush of wind, and he was now behind her, facing her back.
She gasped and her eyes widened. Then she fainted, and everything around me started to black out.
The last thing I heard in the darkness of the dream was Sasuke.
"Thank you Sakura, for everything," he whispered.
Then the vision dissolved into a different one, and this time, I was in a weird patterned floor inside a tunnel like passage. Sakura was running past me, her face twisted with anger. The only thing different about her was that she was wearing a different outfit. I ran after her, noticing a ray of light from a hole at the end of the tunnel. When I got outside I saw Sakura screaming at this other kid who had an expressionless face. Her fist was pointed to him, and she was angry.
Then a cold, piercing word made Sakura look up. "Sakura."
I also looked up, and standing in the rim of the hole stood Sasuke with an evil, cold expression on his face. He was wearing the same outfit, with the sword on his back. Sakura gazed up at him, scared. I heard more footsteps, and Naruto came running up to Sakura. He also looked up at Sasuke. Another man with a weird mask like thing walked up, also with an expressionless face.
They started to talk, and then suddenly Sasuke was behind Naruto holding up his sword against Naruto's neck.
"I thought you were going to become Hokage," Sasuke snickered. "Why do you waste time trying to bring me back?"
Naruto gritted his teeth as he replied back, "How can I become a Hokage, if I can't even save my own friend?"
Sasuke pulled back his sword, aiming to kill, but the kid with the expressionless face held on to the sword.
"That," Sasuke said, his face still blank, "is a correct move."
Naruto somersaulted to the back of Sasuke, grabbing his shoulder to attack. Then Sasuke released a flash of lightning as he said, "Chidori Stream!" throwing Naruto and the expressionless faced kid backwards.
"Sai!" Sakura screamed.
It was the first time a dream seemed like a dream, because everything happened so fast. Sasuke had taken out his sword, which had electricity flowing through it. His face was twisted up in cold, and hatred. I decided that I probably didn't want to duel him anymore, staring at the deadly blade.
Sakura came towards him saying something like, "I'm going to fight you with my own strength!"
His face softened by a little, as he turned his sword towards her, but the older guy with the weird jaw mask thing came in the middle. Naruto was on the floor, clutching his stomach. I thought he had a bad stomach ache or something, but it didn't seem possible. The man with the mask thing was obviously defeated, since Sasuke had his sword through him. Something told me that Sasuke was taking the energy out of the man.
Then, Sasuke's eyes changed into red with black lines. Sharingan, the same voice in my head told me. He looked at Naruto, thenn as sudden as ever, the man with the jaw mask sprouted wood from the hole Sasuke had pierced into him. Sasuke stepped back, and the man with the jaw mask created a house of wooden logs around him to keep Sasuke trapped in.
Sasuke just blasted through the house and stood on the cliff again. He rose up one of his hands, his eyes gleaming with evil as he said, "This is the end of you."
But this other man suddenly appeared next to him and grabbed his hand and chuckled evilly. This man had weird black lines around his eyes.
Bad case of mascara, I thought.
He also had an evil, powerful face. Orochimaru, the voice said again.
"Now, now, Sasuke. We don't need to use that jutsu." Orochimaru said.
Another man with blond haired with glasses appeared next to Orochimaru.
"Yeah," he chimed in. "Besides, we need them to get rid of the Akatsuki for us."
Sasuke snorted. "That," he told the blonde with the glasses, "is a pathetic reason."
But the three held up their hands and vanished in three columns of flames.
Naruto, Sakura, the man, and the kid called Sai stared up, their faces filled with hurt and defeat.
Then Naruto crumpled to the floor and bended over, his head on the rocky ground and fists next to him.
"I couldn't do it again," he sobbed. "I couldn't bring him back again."
Sakura had broken into tears, "Why are you crying? Tears won't bring us any closer to bringing back Sasuke."
Naruto raised his head and stood up, trying to foster a more determined face. Then everything went black, and my dream was over.
