When I arrived the Next morning at Camp Half- Blood Hermes immediately descended upon me,

"Change forms now," he demanded and I shook my head at him. Every god had a favorite human form to take. I personally liked looking like an eighteen year old with blond hair, blue eyes and a good tan. I found that many mortal women were attracted to this form in particular, though at times I would age myself to make them more comfortable.

"Laura does not know the boy she met on the first day of summer is you. You must change forms so she does not grow suspicious as all of the demigods know you are the one who found her." Although annoyed with he request I decided to comply and turned to one of my least favorite forms. It was disgustingly similar to the one Ares preferred.

"happy?" Hermes smiled at me. I could tell he was amused that I had chosen this form in particular.

"As much as I can be, come along. I want to have you meet her briefly so we can go on with out day and I don't have to worry about you trying anything," I groaned. I had forgotten that we had agreed to look for a house for Lynn, Will, Conner, Travis, and potentially Laura. Hermes had felt it would be fair to them if we found a home which would allow the five demigods to live together without the fear of constant attacks.

Conner Stoll was waiting outside of the cabin when we reached it. Hermes instructed him to wait outside with me while he went and spoke to Laura for a moment. I turned to the boy and offered him a poem. He looked confused an after a few haikus he excused himself and ran into the cabin. I made a mental note to teach Laura some of my poetry, as it was just as beautiful as she was. Besides the only thing better than my own voice reciting poetry was watching a woman recite a poem I had given her.

Conner returned moments later and told me that Hermes was ready for me to join them in the cabin. I threw the door open dramatically, hoping to make Laura laugh. She looked slightly scared when I came in and for a moment it appeared as though she did not realize who I was.

"Did someone mention me?" Hermes rolled his eyes.

"Hello to you too, brother, this is Laura." I smirked

"Good to see those baby blues open, sweetheart." She turned a shade of red I did not think was possible and began to cough.

"Thank you for finding and healing me," she said suddenly shy.

"Anything for a cutie like you," I winked at her

"That's enough," Hermes snapped at me. I could tell he was going to cut my time with her short if I continued"Must you hit on every girl you meet?"

"I don't hit on you do I?" Finally Laura cracked a smile and began to laugh, her father gave her a dirty look and she fell silent growing red once again.

"See even your kid agrees with me." Hermes crossed his arms at my moment and immediately I knew I had gone too far. For a moment I was concerned he would try to fight me, but I knew I easily overpowered him anyway.

"Just do what you came here for and leave already," he snapped. I smiled apparently we had come to the same conclusion.

'Fine, Laura I need you to kick off the blankets for a minute." She did what I asked and I immediately began to inspect her injuries. Other than a minor scrape there was nothing wrong with her, but I spent a few moments poking at her and trying to make it look as though I was healing the girl. Once Is as finished I took her hand in mine and pretended to shake it. Instead I pressed a neatly folded paper into her hand and hoped her father would not notice.

The note read:

Sweetheart,

Sorry about the new form, your father insisted. He also said I was not allowed to sing, dance, hire circus monkeys, or bring candy. Now, after yesterday, I think we should be more careful about when we hang out. Your father has grown suspicious of my absences. Meet me after Capture the Flag by the pine tree.

Your friend,

Apollo

P.S. A haiku for you

Good luck with the Ares kids

I cheer for my group

"It was nice to meet you, Laura," I smiled at her. Hermes began to tap his foot behind me and I smiled. I knew he would be mad at me when we left but I decided to ignore him. "Oh and one more thing, I wouldn't suggest looking for any more automatons anytime soon." She smiled up at me and I was once again distracted by her beauty,

"I'll try to resist." With that I walked outside and waited a moment for Hermes to join me. He looked furious with me. The two of us argued as we made our way back to the Big house and Hermes made plenty of threats that we both knew he would not be able to complete. I was still the most powerful of Zeus' sons after all.

Together we began to look at places where it was possible to give five fairly powerful demigods a place to live, we agreed that staying on Long Island made the most sense but we did not want them to be too close to camp, as the towns outside of there were nearly always swarmed with monsters waiting for a demigod to wander out of the protections of camp. Finally we agreed on a town and found a nice house there to set them up in. Hermes left to go inform the demigods about what we had found and I decided to return to Olympus and rest I needed to catch up on my beauty sleep after all.
