Chapter 9: Ah hoy!
Klaus POV
The plane finally landed 5 hours later at Naples International Airport in Spain. I was resting on the couch I put Caroline on, her head resting in my lap, as I stroked her soft blonde curls whilst she slept. Her face was the epitome of exhaustion and tiredness. I had her wrapped in a large warm red blanket, with the only thing she is wearing underneath was the sweater I put on her after the ceremony and her tattered underwear.
After I put on the sweater and carried her out of the ceremony area and towards the awaiting jet along with my siblings and their mates. Who would've thought that all the originals to balance out nature had fated mates that were decided centuries ago by the spirits. Stefan with Rebekah, The Bennet witch with Kol, my second least favorite doppelganger, Katerina, with my elder brother Elijah, and my dead brother Finn with his equally dead wench Sage.
All were on the plane with my mate and I, headed towards our summer house in the Naples country side villa, three were knocked out (Caroline, Bonnie, and Rippah) to ensure our safe arrival and just to get them there and contained without much of a fight. When they woke up unexpectedly mid-flight, it was chaos, first Caroline woke up which instigated the others to awaken, and took triple the time to restrain and get them under control. The serum given to Caroline and Stefan was a souped-up version of a tranquilizer, enough to put down a herd of cows for half of a day, but for the two baby vamps about 6 hours, and Bonnie a usual sedation of general Anesthetic and will be out about the same amount of time, about 7 hours.
It was just about a 30 minute ride from the Airport but it takes about just that long to shut down the plane and load up so we were kind of pressed for time. Elijah was helping get Stefan and Bonnie into their respective mate's cars when it became my turn. I smirked over at my sleeping beauty and gently lifted her body into my arms, stood up and made my way out of the plane and to my designated car. The back doors were opened by Elijah and I gently slid Caroline into the car and rested her body on the back seat I sat on the front console and brushed a stray hair out of her face, while adjusting the blanket. Elijah cleared his throat and I stepped out of the vehicle and softly closed the back door.
Elijah handed me the keys that I generously took, "Niklaus, considering what happened on the plane earlier maybe we separate them until they have become more…amicable towards their own mates at least."
I nodded and ran a hand through my hair "Ok, You and Katerina take the summer house, send Kol and Bonnie to the apartment in Rome, Bonnie will be out longer than any of them. Bekah and the Rippah to the vineyard, and I will take the Island. We will talk in a week from today, keep your phone on brother."
Elijah nodded, "Shall I call the Philippe to ready the boat and Island for your arrival and to take you and Miss Forbes to the Island?"
"Yes and have him rig the bed with the ropes and cuffs, and tell him to have back up chains and human blood."
With that he smiled, retrieved his phone from his and walked away I smiled and turned my way back to the car, my smile dropped, she was beginning to stir I needed to start moving now or she will wake prematurely. "KOL! Give me one of Bonnies' sedatives Caroline is stirring."
He flashed to me, "Nik this will only keep her out for half the time it does Bonnie." Kol handed me the syringe
"I know I just need her out for the Car and boat ride. Change of plans you are heading to Rome and Bekah to the vineyard, I'd hurry before your mate awakens."
He flashed off quickly and I entered the car and drove away. I activated the modified child locks to where only I can open the doors from the outside, besides the driver side door of course. She was stirring more and more as I entered our personal port where the ship was ready to go, I exited and Philippe was there to greet me.
"Mr. Mikaelson so good to have you back, any bags today?"
"Yes they are in the trunk, is everything prepared the way I asked of It." he unlocked the trunk and removed two bags of both mine and Caroline's clothes, and took them to the ship and came back.
"Yes sir, the house is stalked in both food and blood; the ropes and cuffs are ready for use and attached to the bed, extra chains at the caves and plenty of local to fed off of, but on the other side of the island, they should leave you alone sir. And if not tell me and I will deal with them. "I nodded and slapped his back and put a wad of one hundred dollars into his hand and thanked him. "You are all set up in your estate room sir and cuffs and ropes have been added to the bed as well as fresh blood in the cooler. I will be your captain today also sir we should reach the island in about an hour and a half. We push off as soon as you enter the ship sir."
He went onto the ship and got it going I went over to Caroline's side and begun to open the door when it was kicked open and I was pushed to the ground and a streak of light left the car and was 50 feet away when she collapsed in exhaustion, got up and was jogging as fast as she could without using up all her strength.
I flashed to her and wrapped my arms around her center and flashed her to the boat right as it was pushing off, and the gate closed. "No, let go of me you bastard, stop touching me." she fought as hard as she could but it just felt like a newborn agitated kitten.
I laughed and walked her, well more like lifted and carried her, to our estate room, opened the door and threw her inside closed and locked the door behind me.
She landed on the bed and it took her awhile to regain her composure and attempted to stand from the queen sized bed as the boat continued to rock back and forth. She glanced up at me then back to the bathroom door and flashed herself inside before unloading her stomach in the on-board toilet. I sighed and walked into the bathroom, kneeled down beside her, and kept her hair from her face as she continued to throw up, rubbing her back soothingly as she began to dry heave, and sat back against the cold tile.
She looked at me, well more like glared, "Why are you doing this. Haven't you done enough?"
I sat oppositely of her and looked her over "I did what I had to do for us, for our future. But that can wait, are you ok, you look pale and sick."
"No Klaus I am absolutely fine, the last 72 hours I have been drugged and compelled, been deprived of blood then had yours shoved down my throat, been through 3 rituals that I don't even know what the last one did to me besides extreme pain, been humiliated and had to kill one of my best friends because you deemed it necessary. No Klaus I am perfectly fine couldn't be happier. Just feel like I got hit be a truck twice, and I am sick to my stomach because you decide putting me on boat was a good idea, and I have the migraine from hell. So please stop talking unless your next words are 'I'm letting you go Caroline' 'it was all just a dream'."
I sighed and stopped talking as she curled into a ball on the bathroom floor and brought her knees to her chest and tucked her head. I stood up and she tensed, I opened my hand to her, palm up, offering her a way up.
She shook her head and I sighed, "Love you'll feel better on the bed I promise I'll leave you alone the duration of the ship ride, just let me help you now."
She hesitantly took my hand and stood, before crashing into my chest, I steadied her with my hands on her hips, when something passed in her eyes. She quickly swiveled and wrenched the towel rod out of the wall and into my stomach while she made a dash for the door.
I grunted as I ripped it from my stomach and threw it strategically at her, and it landed into her leg while pinning her to the front door. She screamed out in pain as my wound closed and I made my way towards her. I removed the rod from her leg and caught her as she collapsed in pain; I also pulled the syringe from my back pants pocket and quickly injected her with the anesthetic.
Caroline collapsed quickly as I moved her to the bed and laid her down, her blood soaking through the sheets. I groaned and went over the on board mini fridge and grabbed a blood bag and sat in my high back chair.
"Well this is going to be more difficult than expected."
Dun Dun dunnnnn. I'm back and can't wait to read all y'all's reviews. I was only able to do this with a double snow day off for school, in freaking Texas! Oh well
Love,
M
