Giselle:

This one will be one of the rare times I do a school fiction, so please tell me what you think of it. The truth is I don't like doing high school fics.

Ash: 16

Giselle: 16

"No, how did I fail my test?" Ash asked in shame as he dropped the test sheets on the desk in front of him, he drooped his head in shame realizing what this could mean for his chances to get his first pokemon, "this isn't good, how do I show my face to mom now?" Ash asked as more shame started to think silently to himself.

Meanwhile a girl with long black hair, wearing a red dress with a white blouse and knee high socks with black shoes approached him, "the teacher did say to study up," she said with a frown, "anyone that fails the test also has two days to study so they can get a second chance," she said with a smile, "not like I need it I got a perfect score," she boasted with a proud smirk.

Ash looked up with a frown, "nice job rubbing it in Giselle," Ash retorted angrily.

Giselle grabbed a seat and placed it in front of Ash's desk, she sat down and looked at the disappointed Ash, "alright Ash, I will help you study, on one condition," Giselle remarked with a bright smile.

Ash looked up with hope, "how did I know the most popular girl in school would have a condition to help someone study?" Ash asked with a smirk.

Giselle glared at Ash because of the question, "well if that's the way you're going to thank me, then forget it," Giselle replied with and before picking herself up off the seat, she placed the seat back to it's original location and started to walk out of the room.

Ash watched as she walked slowly to the door tormenting her class mate, "alright I accept," Ash said with anger, he watched as Giselle walked back to his location and placed a text book on his desk, "but before I go on, what is the condition?" Ash asked the young lady.

Giselle let out a sneaky smile before sitting down in front of him, "it isn't much Ash, you just have to take me out on a date," Giselle remarked much to her class mates surprise, "providing that you pass the test of course," Giselle added with a smirk.

Ash just sat there in shock not knowing what to do or say, Ash turned his gaze back to the text book to start studying up, "this isn't good every male student is going to want to kill me now," Ash said under his breath while writing down notes and practicing some of the tasks in the text book.

Giselle watched and placed her hands under her chin, she witnessed Ash focusing on the test and started to smile, "let's see if you got some of the questions right," Giselle said while taking the paper away from Ash, she looked at the answers and much to see some improvements in his marks, "seems like you still need some more study time," Giselle remarked happily, "come back here tomorrow, I will make sure you get a perfect score in that test," Giselle declared her resolve.

Ash walked out of the room after doing some extra study, he started to think about how his luck changed after failing the test, "great I better not show my mom this bad test," Ash told himself on the way home. Ash folded the test paper up and completed his journey home.

(The next Day)

Sitting in the library of the school, Ash was reading the text book with even more focus, he looked up to see Giselle approach him, "Ash, I thought I told you to meet me in the class," Giselle said with her fists clenched.

Ash looked up with a smile, "I like the library, it's a quiet place, it helps me focus," Ash confessed with a smile.

Giselle looked at Ash with a warm smile and sat down next to him, "you know, when you focus you're ready to achieve anything," Giselle pointed out quietly as she continued to help Ash with the studies.

They continued to study until it was lunch time, Ash placed the book back on the shelf and left the library to go and see the teacher, Giselle followed Ash to the class room confident that he was going to pass the test this time around, 'come on Ash, pass this test,' Giselle thought in hope.

In the class room Ash sat down with the test paper in front of him, he gulped quietly and closed his eyes, "this is it," Ash said silently as he opened his eyes, he grabbed the pen and looked at the first question, as the time passed Ash wrote down the answers to every question to the best of his ability.

"Ash, time is almost up," the teacher said with almost an hour passing.

Ash looked at the pages of the test and did some quick edits to his answers, Ash continued to turn the pages to make sure that he felt like he got the questions right, the teacher walked up to Ash's desk, "I am done sir," Ash declared with a smile before walking out of the class.

Ash didn't notice Giselle standing outside of the room, his nerves were almost at the edge and his hands were now shaking, "So Ash, how did it go?" Giselle asked surprising Ash.

Ash turned around with a nervous look on his face, "I don't know," Ash confessed with a frown, he walked up to the library to calm his nerves, Giselle just stood there feeling sorry for Ash, she allowed his to walk to the library on his own.

As the hours passed Ash became more and more nervous, he continued to read the books inside the library, suddenly Giselle burst through the doors panting from exhaustion, she approached Ash and handed him the papers, "see, Ash I knew you could do it," Giselle said with a smile.

Ash looked at the test paper in amazement, "I got a ninety out of a hundred?" Ash asked as a smile appeared on his face, "thanks Giselle," Ash said with a thankful smile.

Giselle took Ash's hand and smiled at the thankful trainer, "now that you passed your test, tonight you have to take me to the festival that is in town," Giselle said with a proud smile before leaving Ash who was speechless from the request that was made to him, before Ash could move Giselle ran back and kissed Ash on the cheek before leaving the scene.

Ash placed his hand on the spot that was kissed shocked at what had happened, he looked down at the test with a proud smile, "maybe this isn't so bad," Ash told himself before starting his journey home.

Hours later Ash was ready to go to the festival when he heard a knock on the door, he walked up to and opened the door to see Giselle wearing a beautiful pink dress, she took Ash's arm and dragged him out of the house, "Ash, time to go," Giselle said enthusiastically towards their first date.
