I want to say thanks to those of you who have read, followed, favorite and reviewed my story! Sending lots of love to you guys! :)

First of all I'm really sorry I haven't updated in over a month. But my lift has been like an emotional rollercoaster ride. First my grandmother got diagnosed with breast cancer, and then had a surgery. And suddenly out of nowhere I got a job as a substitute at my old school, which is amazing. And then my grandmother started to lose her hair, right up to Christmas.

But I'm overjoyed that people still are reading it, and please have patience more chapters will follow, but I can't promise when.

~Enjoy

"Whoa, did I miss something?" It was Tig asking with a silly voice, and the grin on his face matched the voice. All I wanted to say was: "Fuck off!" – But I kept my mouth shut; I think I have made enough trouble… For tonight.

"Miss O'Neal and I just had I little disagreement, but we're good now. Aren't we?" Jax whispered the last part in my ear, still standing tremendously close to me. I just nodded and wished them away.

"A shop assistant is needed at checkout 4." A voice said over the shop's radio. I was strolling down the rows with a cart, when I heard the woman's voice. Today I was determined to get a certain man out of my mind, and it was not in a good way that he was there in the first place. And the best way to get him out of my mind, was working with the things I loved; my store.
At the moment I was looking for paint, white paint to be exact. My plan was to paint an old chest of drawers in the color of white; it was a plan to make it more chic and saleable.

And they say
She's in the class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately,
her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us

I kept walking down the row, as the woman's voice was replaced with a song. It had a nice and joyful melody, but the lyrics were sad and a bit depressing. That was when I thought back to what happened the day before.

And they left, but only left. I knew that someday – one day, they would be back. They would be back with whatever they kept in store here. And when that happens I will be facing even more gang members than just Tig, and Jax, and Juice. God only knows whether they will be worse than Tig or just as sweet as Juice.
I looked at the cashier table, and I saw a key, well it was my key; the key gave access to the whole shop and to my apartment. I walked the distance from the table I had been clenched to, to the cashier table, where I took the keys. Then I clenched my hand around the keys; slowly sinking to the floor, with my back against the cashier table. Ever so slowly tears started to form in the corner of my eyes, and not before long they were streaming down my cheeks. I squeezed the keys harder and harder in my hand.
I had to get this anger and rage out of my body, and the only way to do that was if I screamed, so I did.

"Arrrrrgh!"

After this burst of anger, which by the way didn't help at all; I cried a little more, while thinking about this deal between the Sons and my dear dad.

Why dad did you ever do business with the devil and his henchmen? There must have been another way to get 30,000 dollars – the bank?! The bank was the only other option apart from the Sons; we didn't have any other family relatives in the States or in the world for that matter. Well we once had my grandparents, but they died years before my mom and dad. And what we had left was each other.
But why them? Why ask the devil himself?!
I had to know why my dad of all people had to take a loan of 30,000 dollars. That was one of the things which pestered me the most: Why the hell did he borrow 30,000 dollars, and why did he do it when he was in prison? I knew he had done it from inside of the prison, my dad would never in a million years talk with people like them.

I don't know how long I sat there on the floor, crying and squeezing the keys in my hand. But sometime around midnight, I opened my hand to see that I had squeezed the keys too hard, because it had left deep marks, and some were even bleeding. After I switched off the light, I checked that all windows and doors were securely shut and locked. And to be on safe side I double checked, I wouldn't want a thief stealing it all; stealing my life, or another forced entry by someone I know – no it would be as if hell was on earth.

"Em! I knew it was you!" A childish voice yelled, and it was the exact same voice that brought me back to the store. I looked around for the source of the voice, but found none.
Then suddenly out of nowhere, someone was hugging my legs so tight that I couldn't budge. When I looked down at my legs that were tightly pressed together, I saw the 3 feet 5 inches tall boy hugging my legs. At the mere sight of him, I smiled and giggled a bit too.
"Well, who do we have here?" I said with a teasing voice. "Isn't it my savior from last night? What was his name again?" I continued with the teasing voice, while I smiled at him. I called him a savior, because of the wet rag-scene from last night, where he was like a knight in shining armor; saving me from the deadly dragon.
"Abel!" He yelled, with his arms in the air; a sign for me to pick him up. He yelled so loud that I was pretty sure the whole store could hear him, but to hell with them, I could care less if the whole world could hear him. If something or someone could light up and save my day, it would for certain be this little guy.
I picked him up, and as soon I did so, Abel cuddled his arms around me; like I was his long lost teddy bear.
"Then how are you, Abel?" I asked, while lightly poking his tummy.
He giggled shot before answering very quickly. "I'm fine…" He smiled at me; after which he asked me: "Em, how's your hand?" He gave me a concerned look, then releasing my neck with one of his arms; this arm started searching for my injured hand. I showed him my right hand for him to see; it was still bruised, but the swelling had decreased.
"Look it's all fine…" I turned my hand so he could see every inch of it. I could see the disbelief in his eyes, but before he could say anything at all; an Afro-American woman came trotting down the row.
"Abel Darling – There you are!"
I looked from Abel to the woman now in front of me. She had such kind eyes, full lips, and a smile which I believed could light up the world for generations. Her hair was all black, and in her ears hung a pair of pearl earrings that complimented her dark skin tone.
She stopped in front of us, me still holding Abel in my arm, and the right hand was still showed to Abel. She quickly looked me up and down, before asking: "Who are you?" She had a definite tone to her voice; I could feel that she didn't trust me fully with holding Abel.
Who is she? Jax's wife? I looked at her hand, but found no ring. Hmm… Who is she then, a girlfriend? I looked at her once again. No she's too old – isn't she? Oh God, I had to find out who she is!
"I'm Emily, also called Em, by this little guy." I answered with a smile, and then ruffled Abel's hair. "And if you don't mind me asking who are you?"
"Duh Em, she's my nanny - Neeta!" Abel said, while he looked at me like I just asked the dumbest question in the world's history. Oh right, his nanny – You're so stupid Emily!
I stuck my hand out, for us to shake hands and sort of become acquaintances. "I'm the latest friend of Abel…"
"And she's dad's friend too!" Neeta took my hand and shook it, smiling at me and laughing at what Abel said. I looked at Abel, and gave him a nervous half-smile. Shh! Friend of Jax; I wouldn't put that label on myself – not at all. I barely know him; even though he knows all about my life.
After we shook hands, Neeta said: "Abel you can't run off like that, this place is huge; you could get lost." She smiled sweetly at him. "But I was not lost! Em was right here!" Abel said; looked at me, with a huge smile plastered on his face. Neeta lightly shook her head. "Anyway, we have to go home now, before daddy comes home."
When she said that; I put Abel down, and ruffled his hair even more.
"Can I visit Em then?" Abel asked Neeta, not even looking at me for my permission to visit me.
"I'm sure you can Sweetie." She said. "But you have to ask daddy first; it might happen that he's going to visit her soon."
What?! Hopefully not! Well it would be fun to have Abel over, but Jax? No way!
