This chapter is very short and was mostly to get me back into the groove of this story.
APOV
Confusion and fear coursed through my body when my father touched my shoulder and suddenly my husband was gone. When I looked up I felt the air leaving my lungs in a rush. I looked around in shock and awe, somewhere in the back of my mind the scene was familiar. The sky was red as fire, occupied with 3 red suns. Trees and grass stood everywhere but strangely it didn't look like a forest or the woods at all. I could hear what sounded like a waterfall and I could just barely see what looked like a stream in the distance. The air was clean and crisp, unlike anything I can remember experiencing. It seemed untained by humans, no pollution, dust, smoke, or anything. I took a deep breath and my insides went cold with the air.
"Welcome home" my father's gruff voice said.
I could almost taste his happiness. Wait, what? Taste his happiness?
"Dad, Bella" Emmett said.
I turned and looked at him. He was staring down at Bella worriedly. He slowly lowered her to the grass floor. Emmett waved his hand and all of a sudden there was a stream of water making it's way towards us. Now there was a stream that passed right by us and dissapeared into the distance. He waved his hand again and the trees seemed to part enough to bathe Bella's still form with wierd red sunlight. I gasped in surprise.
"Well we have two options" the man said. "We can wait until Mary regains her powers and she can pull her own energy from Isabella. Or I can go ahead and pull the engery from her and replace it with her own."
"Do the second one!" Emmett demanded.
"But if I do it than Isabella may lose all of her memories of anything outside of this place and her family. She will not remember her mate or any of the past they shared, when she meets him it will be like the first time. She will also be like a newborn."
Emmett stared down at Bella for a full 5 minutes before answering. "How long will it take Mary to regain her powers? How do you give her back her powers?"
"I flush her energy out with mine. She will technically die, when she come back she'll be like a newborn as well. 10 minutes"
"That's not bad" I finally spoke up. "Will I still have my memories?"
Emmett turned to me then turned back to his- our- father.
"Yes" He spoke. "But you won't have any of the control that comes along with those memories. You'll remember being able to say no to your thirst for human blood, but you won't have the control to say no to your hunger for energy."
"We can do that so we get her back, but what about Bella? Is there no way for you to leave her memories?"
"I don't know"
"Just do it. She could use a fresh start anyway"
"She may just need energy" I whispered. "She might just be weak"
Emmett eyes shot up to mine in surprise. "What?"
"I don't know... I was just thinking she may have lost a lot of energy by doing whatever she did to me earlier."
Emmett turned to his father and explained to him what happened.
"That's possible" the man, my father, said. "For her to have completely taken that from Mary, as a vampire, may have exhausted her. When was the last time she fed?"
"It was a few weeks before the whole thing happened" Emmett answered.
"Then that's entirely possible"
"If so then what do we do?"
"She will awake on her own"
"How long?"
"I don't know. Could be 10 minutes, could be 20. She's here so it should only be a few seconds as the earth and water work to heal her."
That is amazing.
"Mary, are you ready?" He turned to me.
I looked up at him and gasped. He looked different here, his skin almost glowed, he wasn't pale anymore. He also didn't appear as tall as he did at home. About 10 minutes had passed since we got here.
"I'm ready" I whisper.
JPOV
I searched tirelessly for her. My entire family did. Even Edward helped knowing when we found Alice, we'd find Bella. But this was her fault, Alice was fine before she came.
"Alice has the right to know about her human life, you know how much she wanted answers, now she's getting them."
"FOR HOW LONG? WHAT IF SHE DOESN'T COME BACK?" I screamed at him furiously. "It's been 10 years! We have searched the entire world 3 fucking times!"
I could feel Edward's depression and it made me even more depressed.
"We'll find them" He whispers sadly.
But as the days wore on I began to lose hope more and more. Before I knew it she'd been gone for almost 20 years and there was no where else to look. I wanted to die but I was still hoping she'd find her way back home. And back to me.
Sorry for the unbelievablely long wait. I was at such a loss for what to do and I just didn't want to write anymore. If you guys are still there thank you for your patience and support.
Should Bella lose her memory or not? I'll write it out both ways and go with what you guys want. The next chapter will be out as soon as you guys tell me what you want to see.
