The meeting was called. The twelve Olympians watched the screen before them. The strawberry haired child, Ichigo Kurosaki, had pinned down a satyr in less than ten seconds. "How is he able to do that?" Hermes asked.
"I don't know," Hera said. "But I disapprove of him and his sister cussing so freely."
"But you haven't said anything about his previous actions." Dionysus commented. "Why is that, Mother?"
The Queen of Gods stayed silent, as if she was afraid of her own answer.
"That can be saved for another time," Zeus interrupted. "For now we need to know what this child is capable of."
Ares rose. "I would be more than glad to test his strength."
A person snorted and tried to contain their laughter. Everyone turned their attention to Poseidon. "Do you find something amusing?" Demeter asked before her younger brother could.
"Ares just reminds me of a college." Poseidon smiled and turned to his niece. "I'm sure you know why I'm laughing, Lady Artemis. After all they have the same abrasive personality."
The Goddess of Hunts took the thought into consideration. After a couple of minutes, she was trying hard to control her laughter. "I understand," she replied. "Those two are a lot a like."
"Anyways," Zeus interceded, "we need to know how strong he is without fighting him." He glared at his son, whom sat back down. "Any suggestions?"
"Don't even bother trying," Poseidon commented.
He was the center of attention again. "And why would you say that?" Athena challenged her old rival.
He leaned forward and slowly explained it. "Ichigo Kurosaki has the same fatal flaw as my son; personal loyalty. He will do anything to save his friends. When his other sister, Yuzu, was kidnapped, Ichigo went through the broken gates of Hell to save her."
"There is only one hell." Ares argued. "Remember? Your brother is the king of that one."
"There's another one," The King of the Seas insisted. "Ichigo had to leave three of his friends there, but he was able to save them."
"Nobody can go to hell more than once and survive!" Hermes argued. "It's impossible!"
"My son and this child was able to," Poseidon retorted. "They are both invisible."
Zeus slumped in his seat. "By Tartarus. . . .their's TWO of them?!"
The room was silent until Aphrodite finally said, "Hold on a second."
The attention was averted to her. "What is it, honey?" Hephaestus questioned.
She looked around the room one more time before she locked on to her husband. "Where's Apollo?"
~Ichigo's Pov~
I opened the door to the nurse's office. No one was in there. I sat on the bed and waited for the nurse to arrive. After five minutes of waiting, I started to search through the cabinets for a gaze while my ankle started throbbing more.
Stupid Grover. He didn't have to break it!
Eventually I found it. As I started to wrap it, the nurse came in, but instead he was a dude.
Instead of yelling at me, he asked, "How do you know how to do that?"
"I've seen my dad do it before," I muttered as the gaze slipped through my fingers. It stopped rolling when it hit the nurse's foot. He grabbed it, forced me to sit down on the bed, and started wrapping it for me.
"Which class were you in when this happened?" he asked.
"Mr. Brunner's." I answered. "Mythology."
"Do you know any stories?" The nurse questioned me again. "Any gods or goddesses?"
"I know a few immortals." I replied happily but winced when he touched my ankle.
"Which one is your favorite?"
I paused and recalled when a certain teacher said those exact words. "Are you going to laugh at me and call me a liar if I do?" I retorted.
He laughed and said, "Of course not! It's your opinion. What other people say doesn't matter, got it?"
I nodded my head and thought back to the few immortals I heard and read about. "To be honest I thought the legends behind Hera, or Juno if you prefer it, are a little farfetched."
"It doesn't matter which name you use. I know all their names." He looked up at me and asked, "Why do you think that?"
"Everyone thinks that she wants a perfect family." I started out. "When I was reading some of the stories online and thought about them real hard, I realized that all Hera wanted was her family. She isn't the goddess of family for nothing."
The nurse stood and when he did he was smiling at me. "I'm sure the Queen of Gods is happy with what you said." Then he asked again, "Which one is your favorite?"
"My favorite immortal is Lady Artemis." I answered proudly, which I could tell made him happy.
"And why is she your favorite?"
I thought for only a second before answering. "She is the goddess of hunt and moon. Lady Artemis would accept any girl into the hunt, including ones who's once been raped."
"Why does she allow them?"
I blurted out the answer, but for some reason, I thought somebody else heard the answer. "Because she was raped herself."
The rest of the event was foggy. I remember asking him who his name was. He had laughed and said, "My name's Apollo, of course!"
