Welcome back! -No flames please, and I don't own anything but my OC's!
Chapter 9; Deify (Disturbed)-I love that song~~
It wasn't too long before Twister and Tea stopped and the other five looked up. "A c-cave?" asked Khloe, drenched and shivering. "Yeah. We should keep out of the storm here." Twister spoke, his blue eyes going to his sister for confirmation. Tabia was a little ways from everyone else, her arms crossed and shivering, seeing her hair down was an odd sight, something the gang wasn't used to.
"S-sure! Does it have a heater?!" Was Tabia's response. "It's a cave, Tabi'." Joey reminded her and turned back, seeing that the girl's teeth was chattering.
The friends entered the cave and a flashlight shone on them, and Tabia recognized the voice.
"Sheesh, you guys look like drowned rats." Tabia managed a smile and replied, "I'm surprised you don't. What are you doing here, Michaela?" Michaela's eyes rolled, and she turned around. "Follow me." There was a sound like a door opening and the friends followed Joey's ex.
When Tabia stepped in, heat greeted her. She looked around and saw a living room with a TV playing the news.
"Wow! How did you find this?" asked Khloe, amazed. Michaela gave the unfamiliar girl a wink, "It's a little something called dimension jumping! I did it while Tabi was in Egypt! A wondrous thing to do when you're bored!"
"Where did you go?" asked Tristan as Michaela went to a closet and brought out towels. The seven each took a towel. "I've got clothes in the room down the hall, across from that is the bathroom, maybe you guys want to wash up." Tabia stood and hurried down the hall.
The wet friends watched the news, a few movies and started watching an Anime called Dragon Ball Z.
In the middle of episode 3, Tabia walked in the room, eating a croissant. "Thanks for the hospitality." she spoke and Tea went to take a shower. Michaela looked at her friend and pat the couch. The others were in wooden chairs.
Tabia's hair was still pretty much soaked and down, but it wasn't dripping. She wore a pair of black leather pants and a purple tank top, under a black hoodie. It was unbuttoned and finally she had on white ankle socks, her boots in her hands as she set them by the door. Finally the Millennium Pendent was around her neck, but it was soon placed in the bag she had with her and set by the TV.
It was around midnight when everyone fell asleep, Michaela laying on the floor next to Joey, her blue and red hair tied back with a ribbon. Michaela was curled up next to him, her head resting on his chest, sleeping soundly.
Twister was sitting on a recliner, his girlfriend on his lap, a blanket on top of them.
Khloe was laying on the couch, her eyes closed and her long hair down, her arms crossed. Tristan was sitting down on one cushion, Khloe's head resting on his lap. The only two that were awake were Tabia and Yami. The girl's glove was in her bag, along with her deck and pendent. She was sitting in front of the window, her green orbs tired, but she wasn't going to have it.
"You should get some sleep." Yami spoke up, from his seat at the table. Tabia kept an emotionless gaze out the window. "No thanks, you go ahead." she replied.
"I wasn't asking." he replied, almost without hesitancy. "I never said you were." she said. About thirty minutes later, Tabia was bored from looking out to darkness and so she slipped her shoes on and went out her deck, starchip glove and Pendent with her.
The girl exited the cave and noticed the storm was gone and that the moon shone brightly in the sky.
She walked, it felt like hours, but she knew it was the silence that annoyed the hell outta her.
When Tabia thought about treading back and getting some well needed sleep, she found that familiar spiky coal black hair of her opponent. He was walking, more like stumbling, tiredly.
"Hey!" yelled Tabia, energy returning to her as she jogged over to the stumbling boy.
The boy looked at Tabia, his onyx eyes squinting in the darkness, his onyx orbs reaching Tabia's emerald green ones. "You..?" he wondered, only seeing her eyes. Tabia smiled slightly. "Hey man! My name is Tabia, I was your opponent, remember?"
"Oh. You." said the boy as he grabbed her shoulder, steadying himself. Tabia wrapped her arm around his shoulders. "Jeez, what happened, you hungry or something?"
"I could do with some food." he replied. Tabia fished some crackers from her pocket. She gave them to the boy. "Here, I've been eating bread all day." The duo sat on some rocks as the boy chowed down. "So, you know my name, what's yours?"
The boy flat out ignored her and instead asked her a question, "Do you know someone named Michaela Williams?" he asked and Tabia sighed in frustration. "Yup. She's a friend of mine." she replied, her green orbs flashing with annoyance. "Can you take me to her?" he asked and Tabia shrugged. "What's in it for me?"
"Protection from the one you share a body with." he replied, hotly and Tabia stuck her tongue out.
"I don't need protection from Akila. She's my friend, and I trust her completely." Spiky hair rolled his eyes. "Your funeral." he shrugged as the duo stood up and started to head back to the cave.
Michaela woke up and sat on her knees, yawning and her hands went up to rub her eyes of the drowsiness. She looked around and saw Yugi sitting at the table, his head laying on his arms. Yet Tabia was nowhere to found. The girl with dyed red and blue hair sweat dropped and thought, 'Yami is going to murder her. Poor girl.'
She stood up and dusted off her sweat pants.
"You awake too?" asked Khloe. Michaela looked at the unfamiliar girl and gave a nod. "Yeah. Can we talk?" she asked. "Are we not talking now?" asked Khloe. Michaela rolled her blue eyes at Tabia's friends attitude.
"Follow me." said Michaela and she motioned for Khloe to do so. The two walked in a bedroom, Michaela sitting on the Queen sized bed with royal purple sheets.
"Hey, I have a question." said Khloe, sitting beside the girl who decided to lay on the comfortable bed. "Shoot." said the older girl. "What's Dimension Jumping?" asked Khloe, her tan skin clear to the friend of Tabia.
"Erm... Well, I guess it's like a wish. Yeah. You wish for something special and it happens." Michaela explained, albeit poorly. "What was your wish?" asked Khloe. "To be someplace where I could help out the most!" answered Michaela, her eyes looking away. "I ended up in the Dragon Ball Z universe and made friends with Bulma Briefs. That's where I got the house. It's a Capsule."
"You helped here fine." spoke Khloe. "Well you know what they say, 'It hurts to change, but it also hurts not to change'. Sorry that was random."
Khloe smiled faintly, looking at Michaela. "You don't need to apologize. Hey, um, Michaela?" the girl sat up and looked at the Egyptian teenager. "Hm?"
"You like Joey don't you?"
Michaela jumped up from the bed, not looking at Khloe, but she could tell there was a blush on her cheeks. "You and Tabia are going to kill me." she muttered sourly.
Khloe stayed on her seat, on the bed in the Capsule her mother's friend made. "It's alright," she muttered, after Michaela left the room. The lights were dim. "I know already, Auntie Adrianna." whispered Khloe before falling asleep on the comfy bed.
Tabia and the mysterious spiky haired boy stepped inside, quietly and the female looked around, and noticed her friends were still asleep, and so she tip-toed to Michaela and poked her side. If she wasn't careful, she would be caught.
"Hn? Tabia what are you doing awake?" asked a tired voice and the young woman froze in her tracks.
~Dammit!~
