Chapter Nine: Completion
Disclaimer: I don't own it
This Is The Enforcer Speaking,
Another new chapter, long after that last, I know. Thank you to my constant readers and new readers as well. Now…
On To The Story…

Bulma lay back in the tub, resting against Vegetas chest, eyes heavy. She couldn't believe how relaxed she felt after Vegeta bathed her with more gentleness than she could have imagined. How was this the same man who destroyed worlds? Steam rose up around them, nearly lulling her to sleep, but Vegeta had other ideas.
His hand crept slowly up her thighs, coaxing her to allow him access to her core and that delicate bundle of nerves there. Butterfly's fluttered through her stomach as Vegeta worked her with his hands. Whimpering Bulma arched into him and begged him for more. Lifting her in his arms Vegeta spun her to face the edge of the tub. Bracing her hands on the edge of the tub she looked back over her shoulder as the Saiyan Prince settle himself behind her. He took himself in hand and filled her in one smooth motion. Bulma's breath caught at the sensation of being filled so completely.
Heart soaring Bulma could hardly believe that this was where her life had led her. Who would have thought that of all the people in the universe it would be Vegeta who captured her heart?
Wait. What? Bulma shook her thoughts away. Not prepared to dwell on them and instead chose to lose herself in Vegeta's touch, his smell, his very essence as he thrust into her forcing her to work to stay upright.
Vegeta buried his face into the edge of her hair and breathed in her scent before kissing his way down her throat, nibbling gently but not breaking her skin. The sensations took Bulma's breath away.
"Let me touch you." She struggled to say between his powerful thrusts. "Please, Vegeta."
Bulma found herself being spun, moved through the water, as Vegeta sat down with his back to the wall of the tub and drew her into his lap. Bulma's knees slammed into the bottom of the tub but she hardly noticed as she sank down onto Vegeta thick length. He gripped her ass in his hands as she rode him, grinding herself against him as he thrust up into her, Bulma dug her fingers into his shoulders to steady herself.
His eyes bore into hers and reminding her of the darkness of space. Of a blackness so pure and endless it stretched into eternity. A blackness that you could lose yourself in. Vegeta gripped her hair, forced her gaze from his and pressed her lips to his throat.
"Do it." He growled, voice guttural, deeper than normal. His skin burned hot against hers as she hesitated. More than any human ceremony this would bind them together irrevocably. What if he died? He could very well do so in their next battle, and it wouldn't be his last. Through and through he was a warrior and would forever seek out his next challenge. Each one more dangerous than the last. What would she do? Would she wilt away like a flower without the sun? The answer came to her with clarity.
She would survive and she would bring him back. If there was one thing she'd learned in all her adventures was that in this universe death was not always a guarantee, in fact, it could be downright optional.
"Now." Vegeta demanded, his voice strained. Bulma obeyed his command. Vegeta's bullet proof skin gave way to her. Part of her mind knew that this was only possible because he allowed it.
Vegeta's ki burst out around him, it engulfed her, sinking into her flesh, filling her with heat and power. Was this how he always felt? Bursting, full, of energy?
It was incomprehensible. It was too much. Pulling away from Vegeta she screamed.
Hands rough Vegeta yanked her to him and bit her without preamble. Something inside of her soul gave way, she felt it as surely as she felt her heart hammering in chest, at the same time as his energy exploded outward from them both. Most but not all of his ki left her and Bulma knew that the piece of him that remained was there to stay. Connecting them.

In the quite aftermath only the sounds of ragged breathing and dripping water filled the air. Most of the bathwater had been relocated outside of the tub. Vegeta held her to him and ran a thumb along the mark on her neck. It ached. Weird how it hadn't hurt at the time.
She could feel him, a glowing warmth in her chest, like the summer sun after a long winter.
"Is it…is it the same for you too?" Bulma asked, softly touching her chest.
Vegeta gave a curt nod. She could sense his unease.
"What's wrong?" Bulma asked.
"I do not know how this connection will affect us. Not fully. It may have unexpected consequences." He paused for a moment. " Aside from that…I do not think, feel or behave as a human male. What happens when the day comes that I am not enough for you? Or when I do something you cannot forgive? I do not know if I will ever learn to feel the way you do. Part of me wonders, have I condemned you to a lifetime of misery? Bound to one such as myself."
"Our bond is unbreakable, isn't that what you told me?" Bulma looked up at him.
"Yes."
Bulma nodded not taking her eyes away from him. "I'm not asking you to be anything other than what you are Vegeta, Prince of all Saiyans." Bulma smiled at him. "Strong, proud, arrogant and a good man." She ran a hand through his thick hair then cupped his smooth face. "You are what I want. Good, bad, and everything in between. You can't scare me off and I will not regret being with you."
"You are a stubborn woman." Vegeta frowned down at her.
Laughing Bulma leaned up to kiss him on the lips. "If I wasn't so stubborn you wouldn't want me. You think destiny would pair you with someone who couldn't deal with you?"
"I am warning you. I will offend you at least once a day."
Bulma rolled her eyes at him. "I would expect no less."

Bulmas blood boiled, he'd been right of course, already she was pissed off at him. After waking up alone and finding the bed where Vegeta had lain down with her for a nap cold and empty, she'd gone in search of the wayward Saiyan. Unsurprisingly he'd been training and when she'd tried to get him to stop because he was still injured he'd had the audacity to yell at her.
Okay, they'd just had the talk about basically accepting Vegeta as the asshole he was, but it hadn't even been a full day yet. Couldn't he behave at least long enough to finish healing?
Leave him alone? Bulma fumed. She didn't think so. If he wanted to be a jerk, she'd show him why you didn't mess with Bulma freaking Briefs.

Vegeta finally powered down the GR near two in the morning. Bulma watched the lights flicker out from her balcony.
A wicked grin crossed her face as she hurried back into her room. She knew he would be hungry, tired, and grumpy. It was like a twisted version of Snow white and the seven dwarves only she wasn't a Princess and she didn't have seven dwarves. Only one really annoying one.
Mentally counting down the seconds. Bulma waited on the screaming to start. You see, there was only one food known to mankind that Vegeta hated, flat out refused to eat. Something about it tasting and smelling like old socks. So what had Bulma done? Well, she just might have ensured that the only food available in the entire house was the one food that Vegeta hated above all else and that was…
"Woman! What the fuck?"
Curry.
Laughing wickedly Bulma scrambled into bed, flipping the lights off to conceal her final pay back. She listened to his steady approach. Tracking him by the steady stream of curses flying out of his mouth. Suddenly her bedroom door flew open.
"I demand to know why there is only toxic waste in the kitchen."
"Oh, but I thought you loved curry. I even made extra for you." Bulma lied into the darkness, barely concealing her laughter at the enraged Prince standing in her doorway.
He growled at her from where he stood. "You know damn well I despise that garbage as much as I despise Kakarot!"
"Opps. My mistake." Bulma dead panned. "What are you going to do about it?"
She gave her tone a teasing lilt; being intentionally suggestive.
"Is that what you want?" Vegeta's tone changed slightly. He was clearly interested. Perfect.
"Maybe." She taunted. Honestly surprised he was falling for it. She saw his shadow move across the room. The bed dipped as he started to crawl on to it. When he was nearly on top of her Bulma hit the button on the remote control for the room's lights. Bright lights flooded her bedroom revealing her revenge.
At the sight of her pure horror etched itself across Vegetas face.
"What…what is this evil?" He reared back as she reached for him. Nearly tumbling off the bed in his haste to escape.
"Is something wrong Vegeta? Aren't I beautiful?" Bulma batted her eyes at him, pouting. She knew she looked like a hot crazy mess with her hair up in curlers, a green mud mask on her face and the coup de grace, her fuzzy, pink onesie pajamas.
Sitting up she made to grab Vegeta again. This time he did tumble form the bed, dragging sheets and blankets with him. Bulma barely missed being yanked off the bed along with her comforter.
"Evil, vile woman." He said as he backed away, hands raised to find her off as she stalked him.
"Oh, but Vegeta don't you want to see my tail?" She said as she spun around to show off the fluffy white bunny tail on the back of her PJs. They were a left over from a Halloween costume from years before.
"That is a vulgar atrocity." Vegeta snapped as he edged to the door. "You are going to pay for this someday woman."
"Try me homeboy." Bulma smiled wickedly. Though she didn't doubt for a second he was going to seek some sort of revenge but she would worry about that later. He honest to god snarled at her then but Bulma knew he wouldn't hurt her. "Now, you go enjoy your dinner and contemplate your life choices. Specifically, the ones involving you screaming at me."
"I am not apologizing to you." He grumped, crossing his arms. "I need to train unless you want murdered by those androids in two years."
Rolling her eyes Bulma knew damn good and well that Vegeta cared more about defeating Goku and less about defeating the androids. "I don't expect you to apologize but you'll be the one dealing with the consequences when you act like a giant asshole to me. Now off you go. Even a gorgeous, genius, such as myself needs her beauty sleep." She made to paw at Vegeta, he took another step back. "Unless you want to go a round?"
Shaking his head Vegeta beat a hasty retreat mumbling curses and insults under his breath as he went.
Grinning Bulma slammed her door shut. That'd teach the almighty Prince, Bulma decided, as she headed to the bathroom to get ready for bed.

A/N: Well here is the update. I hope you all enjoyed it. I've been in a playful mood lately so wanted to add something kind of funny into all the drama. Thank you to my constant readers how stick around despite my unreliable updating. Honestly there was such a long gap between the first seven chapters and my last couple of updates I forgot where I was going with some of this and had to spend a minute picking the threads back up. Anyways, please review if you have time! Thank you!
