Hey people! How are you guys doing? This chapter may contain overly suggestive toughts/scenes (not really though) but this fic is rated T. So, BEWARE! I'll try writing longer chapters because I've noticed my previous ones are way too short. Enjoy! I DON'T OWN ANYTHING!
I Hate You…or Not
Ch. 8 The Calm Before and After the Storm
Prince Garrett "Gary" Oak's P.O.V.
I hear dishes clanging in the kitchen below and I reluctantly and slowly open my eyes. I'm met with a pleasant sight. Leaf...just like an angel in her sleep...or more like a wolf in a lamb's body...
I smile as I see her snuggle closer to my chest, completely not minding the arm I have protectively around her. When I shift, she whimpers and wraps her arms around my neck tightly. So cute...Though, she'd probably kill me and then herself when she wakes up.
She suddenly moves and I feel her leg entangle with mine under the blanket. 'Oh s***' I think. I let go of her waist and feel my body start to heat up rapidly.
I try shaking her gently. "Uh...Leaf...Leaf..." She stirs a little and raises her knee so that it's a centimeter away from touching my groin. I can't suppress the groan that slips out of my mouth and I immediately slap my hand over my mouth.
I watch in horror as her eyes open in slow motion. Shoot, I was hoping I could slip away without her noticing. It was nice knowing you people...

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! GARY MOTHERF***IN OAK! YOU ARE DEAD!"
I started sweating furiously. "But, you see Leaf, it's really not my fault..."
"Are you implying that it was mine?!"
"Well...not exactly. As much as I enjoyed the moments-"
"Come again?" A dark aura formed around her.
"Ah- I mean I didn't expect to wake up in that position!" I covered my head in fear of receiving a concussion.
She raised her fist and I anticipated the blow.
"OWWWWW!" I howled in pain, clutching my head, desperately trying to numb the pain.
Leaf stalked off, slamming the door to the bathroom loudly.
"STUPID PERVERTED IDIOTIC MORON!" The outburst is slightly muffled through the walls but I still wince.
Fifteen minutes later, Leaf walks out dressed in casual clothes that the maids had prepared for her the night before. She wore light blue skinny jeans, a white lace cami, a salmon pink blazer, obviously designer sunglasses, and tan heels (outfit is on my profile). I stare at her for a solid 15 seconds before she walks up to me and pounds my head in for good measure. But I realized I can't even feel anything anymore...
She struts out the room and I hear her shoes clomp down the wooden stairs.
I breath out a sigh of relief and go into the bathroom to dress myself. I wear dark blue jeans, a loose white t-shirt, a designer brand black coat, my signature black shades and black shoes.
I cautiously walk down the stairs, peeking into the dining room. I open the brown wooden door slowly and step inside. Leaf notices me instantly and glares daggers at my head. I shiver.
"Good morning everyone." I announce my presence. My parents and the royal family of Aurora nod in acknowledgment.
I take my seat at the table and start to eat my breakfast.
"So, Leaf dearest, did you have a good night's sleep?" my mother says suggestively.
Leaf forces a smile. "Of course, your highness! It was very restful. Isn't that right Gary?" She stiffly turns towards me.
"Huh? Oh, yes, definitely." I try not to stutter.
"That's wonderful. We'll be taking your size measurements today you two, so be prepared for a long way ahead!" my mother says way too cheerfully.
We finish breakfast quickly and prepare to go to the wedding attire boutique where the owner is my mother's good friend. The two families duck into the shiny black limo. There is little talk during our trip.
As we all exit the vehicle, I put on my shades, anticipating the usual onslaught of flashing.
"KYAAAA! It's the Prince! GARY, PLEASE MARRY ME!" a girl squeals excitedly.
"No way! He's MINE!" a second high-pitched voice shouts.
"AHHH! The face is off limits!" the first female screeches as the other starts pulling her hair.
A crowd starts to swarm around us after hearing the two argue loudly. Paparazzi soon follow with their blinding cameras.
I look over at Leaf who looks a little queasy right not. Right, she's claustrophobic. This might be bad...
I overhear my mother say, "We should have brought along the bodyguards. How foolish of me."
I shove through the group of people and latch on to Leaf's shoulders. I forcefully push through the "ocean" and lead her to the boutique. My father does the same with my mother and the Aurora King and Queen follow suit.
"Prince Garrett, who is she? Is she your fiancee?" the reporters start to bombard us with questions along those lines.
Leaf grips her head. It looks like she's suffering from a headache. I furrow my brows in concern.
I finally reach the entrance to the shop and I practically shove us both inside. Two pairs follow us and the door closes loudly.
The owner of the store lock the doors immediately to our relief.
"Oh, is everyone all right? That must have been hectic. I'm sorry I had you guys come here personally. I should have traveled myself." The lady says worriedly.
"Oh no Dahlia! It's fine. It's better for us to get some fresh air outside of our abode anyways." my mother smiles.
"Let me introduce you to my in-laws Dahlia. This is the royal family of Aurora. Meet King William, Queen Violetta, and Princess Leaferia."
Leaf's parents bow politely and I assist their daughter in her curtsy.
"It's a pleasure to meet you!" Dahlia bows in return. "I'd like to add though, the Princess seems a little pale."
"Leaf, are you well my daughter?" her father questions.
"I'll be fine if I sit down for awhile." Her voice is weaker than usual.
"Then, please feel free to seat yourself over here dear." Dahlia guides us to the white leather loveseat.
"Rose, Joshua, and our guests, you can talk to me about your plans with me over here." They leave us by ourselves for a moment.
"Hey, you okay?" I ask softly.
She nods. "I'm fine, just a little dizzy from the previous occurrence."
"You can stay here for the time. I'll go talk with my parents while you rest."
"No!" her eyes snap open and she tugs at my coat. "Don't go! I think I'll see this morning's breakfast again..." she moans.
"Okay, I'm staying. Relax..." I lie her head down on my shoulder and she offers no resistance.
I softly smile at her occasional moments of vulnerability. 'You're still a young lady no matter what Leafy...'
