GOMEN! GOMEN! GOMEN! GOMEN! I FEEL HORRIBLE THAT I DIDN'T UPDATE! I had a bad case of writer's block or as Nosrevi — one if my OCs — called it, 'Boredom Block'. That name was more accurate... It's complicated, like in order to have a whole bunch of inspiration, I need to be at the perfect level of boredom, but if I'm too bored, then I can't think at all... So...yah...complicated... So in order to make up for it, you could read the last author's note on this chapter and in your review, put you answer! :3
Disclaimer: *Ahem* Tokyo Mew Mew did not consist of Kisshu and Ichigo getting together, Aoyuck dying (or dieting) completely, Supai, Dank, Honō, LeClean, Nosrevi, Retep, Nolram, Sivle, or any of my other OCs, nor figurines, jewelry — except for those really cheap pieces of jewelry on TMM — or screens — I LOVE THE SCREENS! — , therefore, I do not own Tokyo Mew Mew.
Thank you to all my precious reviewers and readers! Random: I see reviewers as family — even though I don't really know you — and readers as friends... If you're bothered by that, please tell me either in PM, or preferably in a review. Enjoy reading this chapter and please review!
Previously on Birthday Presents Can Change Everything:
"Wha...?" Ichigo asked no one. And looked down at the paper and back up to where the figurine once stood,"What do you mean...? I WANT TO GO HOME! KISSHU IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS —" She stopped mid rant, thinking. "Kis...shu..."
"Kis...shu..."
Kisshu froze, he turned after a minute to Pai,"I just head Koneko-chan!"
Pai looked over at Kisshu and snapped his fingers, summoning a small little blue screen, about two by two inches. He held it up to Kisshu's left eye, a faint purple light emerged from the device and covered his younger brother's eye with a net-like-light. It soon disappeared and Kisshu moved back and away from Pai,"What was THAT for?!"
"What? It did not hurt, did it?"Pai asked, making the small screen disappear and putting his hands together and slowly separated them to reveal a small growing blue ball of light that grew into another small blue screen. He then looked at the data he collected from the eye 'test'.
"Well, no. But you didn't have to do it!" Kisshu answered.
Pai sighed and looked up at Kisshu,"Your results showed that you are either suffering the overflow of the amount of stress, or you actually heard it. Do not get your hopes up. She could be dead by now. Who knows, maybe that was the last statement she said before she died."
Kisshu had ignored his long speech until he heard the word 'dead' and was taken aback by his words,"S-She wouldn't just DIE! She is stronger than that!"
"I hope you are right,"Pai responded as he went back to searching for Ichigo.
—WITH ICHIGO—
"Where...where are you...?" Ichigo slowly scanned her surroundings and looked down at the blue paper and read off:
Welcome Mew Ichigo, to the past, present, and future time periods. Here, you shall only be able to leave if you complete your 'mission'.
You Must Find The Weather Vial.
You and only you knows where it is, you told us that you had hid it for good measure thousands of years ago. Though, a hint was given:
It lies where Truth Seekers come for help, the only place the sun can hit, where only those who are destined to find it, can follow the blue path.
Ichigo stared at the note with a blank expression and slowly looked up in front of her as snow began to fall around her. She held the paper in her right hand and stood up, tightly closing her eyes and looking at the ground. Squeezing her right hand and wrinkling the paper, a tear slowly rolled down her face. Her head quickly jerked up, she wiped her tear with her left hand and took a deep breath. She opened her pink eyes and began walking in no distinct direction. 'I am going to go home. I'm not going to stay here.'
—WITH THE ALIENS—
Kisshu had begun pacing in his room soon after his talk with Pai, breathing heavily, he was on the verge of freaking out, and it didn't help when Taruto came running into the room.
"Kisshu!" Kisshu quickly pulled out his dragon swords and threw one at Taruto, who barely dodged. Taruto's eyes grew wide as he shook all over, panting with the sword less than two millimeters from the top of his head. He slowly slipped with his back on the forest green wall down to the floor.
"Taruto!" Kisshu ran over to the younger child, he pulled the sword out of the wall and made it disappear and tried to get a response from Taruto. "Hey, Taruto! Speak!"
Taruto looked up at Kisshu with shocked eyes and realized what happened,"I'm fine! Get away from me! I'm not a baby!" With that, he pushed Kisshu away and stood up and Kisshu followed suit. "I was going to say we have a reading."
"From Ichigo?!" Kisshu asked hopefully.
Taruto looked down and to the right, away from Kisshu and said sadly,"No..."
His older brother immediately went to go sit on the bed, a blank stare crossed over his face as he looked at the floor and with no emotion or hope, said,"Then what was it?"
"One of the Vials."
Kisshu's head jerked up with a shocked expression and then jerk to his left to stare at Taruto,"What?"
"The Vials, they are returning," Pai said from the door as he walked in.
"Does this have something to do with the bracelet?" Kisshu asked fearfully.
"I believe so."
Kisshu was left to ponder over it until a great disturbance came. "You guys were having a party and didn't invite me?!" Sivle appeared next to Kisshu, quickly puting his arm over his cousin's shoulders,"So?"
Pai simply shook his head and walked out of the room, Taruto rolled his eyes and said,"We weren't having a party."
"Oh," he took his arm off of Kisshu and asked,"What were you doing then?"
"The Vials are back," Kisshu said, still not completely back from his little world of shock.
Sivle's eyes narrowed in thought,"Vials? Oh... Those Vials..." He continued to think for a minute, then exclaimed,"NANI?!"
"They are back," Kisshu said just as Taruto teleported out.
"But – but they can't be! They haven't been around for thousands of years! This could cause massive destruction for both our world and the human's world! This could disturb the time circle!"
"And you don't think I know that?!" Kisshu snapped back at him.
"Well...sorry..."
"Just go. I don't have the patience to talk right now," Kisshu said as he closed his eyes and looked down at the ground as Sivle sighed and teleported out. 'Ill find you soon Koneko-chan...just wait...'
—AT ICHIGO'S HOUSE—
"Ichigo! I'm home! Sorry I'm late!" Sakura said as she opened the door with her arms full of groceries,"Hmm? I wonder — Oh, that's right, she was going out with Aoyama-kun today for dinner. I wish I was here to take pictures! She and —" she quickly stopped and turned around to stare at the floor behind her, where she supposedly heard a creak. Nothing was there, so she continued to the kitchen.
After about five more trips to the car, she began to unpack the items from the bags to their rightful places. As she was finishing, small footsteps walking along the hallway upstairs echoed throughout the house. Slowly walking out of the kitchen, and turning left, Sakura went passed the breakfast bar, and up the stairs. Upon looking at the top of the staircase, a short figure appeared, about a foot tall with glowing red eyes and a sharp object in its right hand. Sakura let out a small scream and quickly covered her mouth with her right hand, and began to slowly inch down the stairs as the figurine followed slowly down after her. The evil little thing smirked as it held up the bloody object to its side,"You can't run."
—WITH AOYAMA—
The black haired, brown eyed boy sat at an oak table across from another black haired boy, this time, with blue eyes.
"Divad, I have a date tonight, plus I'm late!" The brown eyed boy complained.
"Trust me, she won't be there. Also, how many times have I told you, outside of school, I'm Rennoc, Ren–noc." The blue eyed boy responded in an annoyed tone.
"Gomen, Rennoc, but I need to go!"
"I was never your friend." 'Rennoc' stated at the same time. Aoyama looked over at him with a shocked expression.
"But, but we've been friends since second grade... You – you can't just say that..."
Completely ignoring Aoyama's statement, he continued,"I'm also not a human."
A black streak ran all around the small room, shaking the one hanging light on the ceiling as it came to a stop behind Aoyama, a small hand held a tiny knife to his throat, firm, but not firm enough to cut through the skin. Aoyama froze and stayed silent as the other boy walked over to him.
"Will you join me? Or die at the small hands of a tiny figurine?" A red glare was shot from a small shadowed figure from behind Aoyama, Rennoc held up his hands and quickly corrected himself as he slowly inched back,"Or die at the hands of a figurine!?"
The figurine moved its gaze back to Aoyama's head, tightening its grip. Aoyama slowly gulped, and said,"I- I...don't know...what to do..."
"Join me, in killing my enemies."
"Gi– Give me time to think..."Aoyama half-ordered and half-pleaded.
"Fine." Rennoc snapped his fingers and the black streak appeared once again and soon the figurine was gone,"You have one day."
Aoyama stared at his so-called friend as the boy smirked at his fake friend's pathetic-ness. 'I actually might not need him. Ever.' And with that, he teleported off to an unknown location, leaving Aoyama to think over a life changing decision.
—WITH ICHIGO—
'It must have been at least an hour or two since I came here... I wonder what everyone is doing right now... My mom probably thinks I'm out doing something for my birthday. Ryou let me off for work today, so he won't be caring at least until tomorrow around four. The mews probably think I'm out with my family or something. My dad was probably told that I was going out tonight. Pai, Taruto, and that other guy could probably care less that I'm not there. Kisshu, on the other hand, is either worried or also not caring. My life's a mess.' Ichigo collapsed to the ground, staring at the dark gray sky, snow continued to fall all around her as one fell on her nose. "I'm never going to make it out. I'm never going to have another birthday party. I'm never going to finish school. I'm never going to find the love of my life. I—"
"You're never going to make it out of here with that attitude." A male voice imitated her but with a different word choice.
Ichigo's eyes widened as she quickly sat up and looked over to her right where the voice came from. An alien emerged from behind a big hill of icy snow, his extra dark green — almost black — hair in its single tie on the side of his head, blowing in the wind. His dark gold eyes dim, showing age as he spoke,"You look just like her..."
"Like— like who?" Ichigo asked nervously.
"Like your great grandmother."
Hmm...interesting... Maybe I'll draw a picture of that image... Anyway, think about what happened in this story, 'kay? A LOT happened here... I'll try to get more out as soon as possible, I have break, but I have cleaning and chores to do and stuff... Anywho, I hope Aoyuck dies personally, but...I have no control over that... *sigh* I wish I did...
Pushing that subject aside, if you want a picture — or an idea — of any scene in this chapter — or any chapter really — tell me! It could be an 'I'm SO sorry I didn't update sooner' thing! I could make one for each of the people who ask...it wouldn't be too hard... There isn't that many people reading...and barely anyone reviews...so...yeah, that would be pretty simple... So you can ask me to do any scene in my story and I'll do my best to draw it nya! Fair enough? Good!
I'll try to update really soon and you can ask for a picture anytime during this story! I hope you have a very good Thanksgiving! I – for one – am very thankful to my readers and reviewers for taking the time to read and hopefully review my story. Arigatō! Ja ne! :3
Random: I wish there was a way to contact the guest reviewers...because I want to thank them along with all the other reviewers! :3
