Well, Little Ducklings, I officially live in Mississippi. Joy. Well, new school and friends joy. Well, on the plus side, at least I don't have to put up with those idiots from last year... Well, lets get onto the story!
Disclaimer: I'm done with these. Ya'll know the drill.
Kim's P.O.V
I can't believe what Ragnarok said to Kilik. And in front of Wendy! That poor girl must've been so confused. It's not everyday you hear true racial slurs like that between residents of Death City. As we got off the plane, I made a beeline for Wendy, Jackie following close behind.
"Wendy!" I called out urgently.
She turned around, "Yes, Kim? Is everything okay?"
I grabbed her shoulders and looked straight into her eyes, "Wendy, I need you to listen very closely."
"I-I'm listening," she stuttered out.
"I need you to never, NEVER, repeat anything Ragnarok just said to Kilik. Those are terrible words to call people and they are incredibly offensive to anybody, especially those with the same skin tone as Kilik. Do you understand?"
Wendy nodded, "Yes Kim, I understand."
I smiled and released a breath I didn't know I was holding, "Good. Since Patty's already went to the hotel room, I'll take you there myself. Then we can go get some dinner after you get settled. I'm sure Jackie would like to go see Harvar." I looked over my shoulder at Jackie and noticed her blushing; I sniggered, "Miss Straight-Laced chick isn't so Straight-Laced, now is she?"
Jackie looked away, "Tch. Shut up Kim."
I looked over to Wendy to see her smiling at us.
"What are you smiling about?" I asked.
She shook her head and said, "You guys act cold towards each other, but you're really close. You're like Natsu-san and Gray-san."
"Whose Natsu and Gray?" I asked. The named Natsu sounded familiar.
Wendy froze and acted like she slipped up at something. "O-Oh... They're just t-two people on my team back home," she stuttered out.
"How are we like them?" Jackie asked.
Wendy stopped walking, and smiled as if she were remembering something. "Well, they're always fighting with each other, but if one of them are in danger they'd their own life to save the other."
"Pssh! Well that's what nakama do. The closer you are, the more you fight, both for each other and each other. That's what completely normal," I said, and I continued walking, "However, the fact they're so close is a good thing. It means they can rely on each other if something really bad happens."
Jackie smiled, "Yeah it's nice to have people like that. Everyone in team Spartoi is like that. Especially Black*Star and Kilik."
"Kilik? I can see Black*Star like that, but Kilik seam pretty level-headed and kind..." Wendy pondered out loud, trailing off.
"Kilik is a lot like Black*Star. He picks a fight with anyone who he knows will fight him, but unlike Black*Star, he knows his limits and won't pick a fight with someone who doesn't want one; then to those who he doesn't fight, he is kind. However, like Black*Star, he is extremely loyal to his friends and will save them at any cost. He was part of the team to rescue Kim and I from a witch's grasp, despite the fact we were trying to kill him..." Jackie explained, but I had to cut in.
"Jackie. Don't bring up bad memories," I demanded, looking down.
She paused then replied after a moments silence, "Right. I'm sorry Kim." Then she did something I did not expect. She came up behind me and gave me a small hug, "I really am..."
"Tch. It's not a big deal, just don't do it," I said shrugging her off, pulling the tsundere act out.
The walk continued in silence. Just as we were about to cross the beach to go to the hotel, there was a giant crash. When I turned around, there was a giant Kishin with cold, glowing, red eyes.
Wendy's P.O.V
We had been walking in a light atmosphere after Kim had brushed off the incident of the Witch's control. If I wasn't who I was, I might've thought Kim didn't care, but I noticed Kim jerk slightly when Jackie brought it up. However, after that momentary silence, a giant monster crashed out of no where. It was easily five meters tall with no hair, read, glowing eyes, and bladed hands.
"JACKIE! TRANSFORM NOW!"
"No need to yell Kim, I'm on it," I looked over to see Kim extended her arm with her and open and Jackie was glowing. Suddenly, the monster brought a hand down where Kim and Jackie were.
"KIM, JACKIE!" I cried out, fearing they had been crushed by the terrible monster.
"Sheesh Wendy. No need to yell, we're fine. Is this what you feel like, Jackie, when I tell you to transform?"
"Feel my pain, Kimmy."
I looked up to see Kim standing on what looked to be a lantern, and she was flying.
"You okay, Wendy?" Kim called, looking down.
"I'm fine... Where's Jackie, though? Is she okay?" I called up, worried.
"I'm fine."
I looked around, unable to tell where the voice came from. "Uhh, that's great, but where are you..."
There was a sigh, and the voice came again, "Look up." I looked up
"So... Where?"
Kim rolled her eyes, "She's the lantern, Wendy." Suddenly, Jackie's face and collar area were revealed. It looked like she wasn't wearing clothes.
"See Wendy? I'm perfectly fine," Jackie said smiling. I sighed in relief, but stopped when the monster roared again and swiped towards Kim and Jackie.
I shouted again, "KIM, JACKIE!"
"Oh hush, Wendy!" Kim's voice came again, but behind the monster this time.
"We have this, Wendy. Trust us," Came Jackie's voice.
I watched them start to fight the monster. By the looks of it, Kim and Jackie were winning, constantly darting around it, letting out a rush of flames, and striking at it like the lantern was a giant mace. Suddenly, a blast of fire larger then one I've ever seen Natsu-san blew from Jackie and the monster transformed into a round red thing. The next thing I know Jackie had grabbed the thing.
"Thanks Kim," Jackie said as she started eating the thing.
"Welcome!"
I looked at it and asked, "W-What is that?"
Jackie finished eating and said, "A Kishin soul."
"W-Why'd you eat it?"
"So she could get more power," Kim said
"So... You ate it?!" I asked more shocked then anything else.
"Yup! It actually tastes good to us weapons." Jackie said, smiling
I was stuttering and confused and shocked when Kim grabbed my arm and said, "Come on Wendy, lets go to the hotel..."
So I'm hoping that this chapter was better then my last two. I don't know what was up with them. I might re-do them. Then again, their crapiness is apart of this story. Anyways have you guys heard the song 'Wiggle' by Jason DeRulo? It just makes me burst out laughinging every time I hear it. Anyways... I have an anime recommendation... Mekaku City Actors. You should also read the manga, which is called Kagerou Days. And why not listen to the songs by Vocaloid, known a Kagrou Project. Serious, they're all good.
