This story is going to be based around the pairing Shi-Woon and Chang-Ho. Shi-Woon is the main character, if you haven't been able to pick up by now. Chang-Ho is the main bully of Shi-Woon in his early years. Chang-Ho later becomes part of the SUC (Soldiers Under Command) and still has a vendetta against Shi-Woon.
Spoilers: If you haven't read up to the point in New Waves where Shi-Woon goes back to school to keep Sae-Hee safe, the setting of the conversation will not make sense. However, many of the references I do make should make sense to people who have finished Breaker.

Anyways…
The sun beat down on the rooftop, forcing sweat to slip down Shi-Woon's neck and slide between his shoulder blades. But it wasn't the hot sun that was causing his clothes to stick to his skin, but the anxiety of watching their plan fall to pieces. This wasn't how the day was supposed to go! Sure, he knew the risk. Sera Kang had been extensive in her lecture of what could happen. It had taken hours of discussion as she bulleted out the many options that could erupt from Shi-Woon's decision. Save for a meteor, Shi-Woon thought they had all the situations planned out.
But he hadn't thought about his best friend turning into some 6 foot lingerie model.
Or about her having a long ass whip that she pulled out of… where, her bra?
…Actually that wouldn't be surprising.
And now Jinnie had been physically thrown from the roof leaving only Shi-Woon and the dorky glasses guy against this "Thousand Face Ha-ru". Where were the rest of the resistance? Shouldn't Smiling Sword be getting here soon?
Shi-Woon grimaced as he surveyed their situation. Their only way off of this roof was over the railing or through the roof access door. And the SUC captain was standing between them and the logical exit.
"We have to make a run for the door, it's the only way we will survive," The glasses boy hissed from Shi-Woon's right, his hand pushing him to go for the door. "Quickly, while she's distracted."
Shi-Woon stumbled forward before bolting for the exit.
"Wha- Ooh! You think your smart, huh? Come back here!" Ha-ru flicked her whip out to catch the racing teen, but the glasses haired boy pulled a sacrifice play, jumping in front of the whip so Shi-Won could make it to the door. He fell to the ground as the pain ripped through his back.
Shi-Woon grabbed the handle only to realize it was locked! He almost ripped his pockets out trying to grab the key. He heard another swish of the whip and knew this time it was going to hit him if he didn't get this stupid door open! He finally was able to fit the key in and yank the door open.
And was bodily shoved out of the doorspace.
He was shoved so hard that he fell over the curled up body of his comrade, landing heavily on his back, knocking the wind out of his lungs.
"Well, well, took your time," Ha-ru drawled, settling her back against the railing of the roof as she observed the group of boys who marched out into the open, all of them in Skeleton suits.
"We're here now, so shut up, hag," A familiar voice barked back. Shi-Woon felt his stomach drop as he watched the one person he never wanted to see again step out the doors and onto the rooftop.
His head was cocked back showing a column of his neck in a show of supremacy. The slow smirk on his face showed the two teeth that were missing at the front of his mouth. "Yo! Shi-Woon. It's been awhile."
Shi-Woon could only stutter in response, the panic widening his eyes. "Cha-Chang Ho...!"
Chang-Ho took a swaggering step forward. The way he stood made the clothing pull taut across his well defined chest. All of the training he went through was for this day.
"I dreamed of the day I would meet you again. I've been waiting!" Chang-Ho crowed, grinning at his prey.
"That's so cute!" Ha-ru yelled out, her hands coming up to fist by her mouth.
Chang-Ho and Shi-Woon turned to stare at Thousand Face Ha-ru, in confusion.
"Oh, sorry," the blond giggled, "That was just such a cute thing to say that I couldn't help but squeal."
"Cute?" Chang-Ho repeated, uncertainly.
"Well, I mean, you said you've dreamed about seeing him again!" Ha-ru exclaimed. "You can almost feel the sexual tension!"
Shi-Woon stared at the bright-eyed and large smile covering the woman's face. Though, frankly, Shi- Woon was having a hard time keeping his eyes up there.
"Wh-what!?" Chang-Ho coughed out. "No. That's not what I meant! I was just meaning that I've been anticipating this day!" At Ha-ru's deadpanned stare, he extrapolated. "You know, I really wanted to pound him into the ground!"
"Woah," Ha-ru breathed out, "That was..."
Shi-Woon blushed at the turn of phrase. It sounded so… dirty.
"Nooo! No, not-not like that," Chang Ho stuttered out. "Like, you know, like…" Words were failing the 16 year old as he tried to explain his intense dislike for the young boy in front of him. He turned to look at the other SUC members, hoping that they would help him out.
"Uh," one of the nameless boys started, looking a little uncomfortable. "Well, we wanted to be supportive of your choices, and you were talking about this kid all day, so we kinda assumed…"
"I didn't mean it that way!" Chang-Ho spat. "I just want to fuck him over!"
The group collectively groaned. And Chang-Ho felt his face start to burn.
From anger, of course.
"Not like that, guys!"
"Uh, I believe you," Shi-Woon rose his hand slightly, like he was in a class or something.
"Shut up, Shi-woon! No one asked you!" Chang-Ho barked back at his only supporter. Shi-Woon put his arm down with a pout.
Ha-ru rolled her eyes at the interaction. "Oh, just admit it! You want to have sex with Shi-Woon."
"Who's going to have sex with Shi-Woon?!" Jinnie thundered, appearing behind the SUC captain, fully recovered from her fall down the side of the building.
"Jinnie!" Shi-Woon shouted joyfully, happy that she was okay and even more happy that she had interrupted that weird conversation they were having.
"Ah, you made it back," Ha-ru smirked as she looked over her shoulder carelessly.
"You're not going to touch Shi-Woon!" Jinnie declared, blasting towards Ha-ru and almost nicking her shoulder with a kick.
Ha-ru jumped back, flipping over her own head, her skirt somehow staying in a perfect circle and not getting that annoying corner that just stays up on that one side but won't go down even after you iron it. And then it gets all static-y and starts attaching itself to your tights. And eventually your standing there thinking, 'Please don't look at my panties' because the skirt has worked it's way up to the top of your thighs.
Wait. Where were we?
Oh right. Eh-hem. Boob lady jumps backwards.
"You think you can take me on, little girl," The Victoria Secret model hissed, smiling coldly. "I'm taking that boy, and there is nothing you can do to stop me."
"Bitch! You are not going to take him from me now! I've been after that ass for the entire first part of New Waves! If I don't screw that boy soon I am going to break something!" Jinnie yelled.
Shi-Woon choked in shock.
"You really think you can stop me?" Ha-ru laughed out.
Jinnie sneered. "I have half of the fanbase behind me. And that includes the guys. Do you even realize how hard it is to get a male shipping fanbase! I am not going to lose to you!"
Ha-ru looked stunned. "That is pretty impressive."
Jinnie smirked. "You think I ran around in a maid costume for fun? I needed to shed the tomboy look, and everyone knows fetishes are the way to any man's heart!"
"Wait a minute… You like me?" Shi-Woon asked, clambering to his feet still stuck on the part where Jinnie had talked about "screwing".
"You might have the cleavage," Jinnie continued, "But I have the close relationship that was made closer by me choosing Shi-Woon over my own family!"
Ha-ru raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Sure you might have me beat, but this wasn't about my relationship with the boy." A slow smile started to cross the woman's face.
Jinnie's eyes narrowed in anger. "Then who could possibly-"
Ha-ru lazily pointed over to Chang-Ho who was looking thoroughly lost with the whole situation. "He's been that twerp's bully for over three years," Ha-ru explained carelessly. "You might have 4 months of that boy's time, but that can be excused as a crush. Chang-Ho is obsessed."
"I'm not obsessed!" Chang-Ho whined, but was ultimately ignored by the two girls.
"But- But," Jinnie stuttered out, "they can't get together! They hate each other!"
"Sexual tension." Ha-ru dismissed.
"One almost killed the other!" Jinnie shouted back.
"Hah!" Ha-ru grinned, "When have yaoi shippers ever allowed that to effect their ship? Plus, it was totally a jealousy thing."
Jinnie grit her teeth at that. The woman was right! Yaoi shippers were infamous for shipping unhealthy relationships! A simple bullying that might have almost led to suicide was child's play in comparison to other notorious ships!
"Just because they could have a sexual relationship doesn't mean they're gay!" Jinnie countered.
"Bitch. This is a fanfiction, all men in fanfiction are gay."
Shit! The second rule of fanfiction had been implemented! There was no way to escape the shipping now!
"Well… Well… Well, the fanbase will never allow Shi-Woon to be turned over to that." Jinnie motioned in disgust towards Chang-Ho. "He has much better options in all the girls. Who could compete with the tomboy/tsundere, that I am or the cool collected kuudere that is Sera or the super cute, 'kinda creepy because she literally looks like she's 8' Sosul, or even childhood best friend Sae-Hee. He is surrounded by perfect matches for him!"
"Oh, please," Ha-ru rolled her eyes. "The boy's surrounded by girls who are half in love with him. He hasn't made a move in over 100 chapters. He's definitely gay."
Jinnie sputtered before rebutting. "Even if he is gay, he has much better choices than some bald, inverted bucktoothed, foul-mouthed, overweight, drab cretin!" Chang- Ho glanced at his stomach, wondering if he really did look overweight. "I mean, Shi-woon has a total badass older hottie of a teacher, a younger prodigy that looks like a girl, hell he even has some fluffy haired playboy at his beck and call!"
And it was in that moment that Shi-Woon realized, by god, he had a harem.
Ha-ru looked conflicted. The annoying red head had made a point! There were just too many good men that Ha-ru just couldn't decide who to go with! But there was one thing that the chit hadn't brought up.
"Sure, he might be more suitable for those others, but…" Ha-ru grinned evilly. "They aren't here right now. Chang-Ho might be cruel, derisive, and childish," One of Chang-Ho's comrades came up to pat the teenager's shoulder, trying to show solidarity against the hurtful words that were pouring out of the womens' mouths. "But he is here first!"
Jinnie gasped, once again realizing that the horribly big-boobed woman was right! If Chang-Ho kissed Shi-Woon before anyone else, he would totally have dibs! That's just how it works in fanfiction…
Ha-ru cackled at the look of defeat on her opponent's face. "It's only a matter of time before the punk tops your precious Shi-Woon."
"Well, Shi-Woon could be the seme." Jinnie muttered.
Jinnie and Ha-ru eyes met briefly before the two girls broke into laughter.
"Heeey." Shi-Woon whined. "Come on, guys."
"But all joking aside," Ha-ru finally straightened up, wiping some tears from her eyes. "I might not have a chance, but he definitely does."
Shi-Woon, Chang-Ho and the rest of the SUC were forgotten as Jinnie lunged for Ha-ru's neck.
Chang-Ho and Shi-Woon stood side by side, watching the girls fight, which was a lot less majestic and a little more… catty.
Shi-Woon glanced at his childhood bully from the corner of his eye, finally deciding that he needed to say what he thought before this got too out of control.
"Um, I'm not interested in you in that way," Shi-Woon muttered.
Chang-Ho turned to stare at him, confused on what this stupid boy was saying, but then suddenly and violently realizing what the kid was talking about.
"I-I don't- It's not like that!" Chang Ho shouted, his face going red. "I don't like you!"
He reached out instinctually, grabbing the geek by his collar and shaking him a little, pulling him close so he could hiss in his face. Shi-Woon's eyes were large in surprise at the move, his nose flared with his gasp, his mouth slightly open in shock, his lips soft and red. Chang-Ho stared, entranced by the small tongue that moistened the bottom lip.
"KISS!" Ha-ru screamed, her claw hands, grabbing the two boys heads and trying to force them together.
Shi-Woon screamed like a little girl. He struggled fiercely to stop his face from moving towards his enemy.
Ha-ru was forced to abort her attempt at sexual harassment, as Jinnie jumped on the older woman's back like a monkey.
"No! They must be together!" Ha-ru yelled. "They're perfect for each other!"
"What! How?!" Shi-woon yelled back. "He tried to bash my head in with a baseball bat!"
"You broke my front two teeth!" Chang-Ho yelled back.
Shi-Woon gaped at him. "You tried to kill me!"
"You avoided me for three weeks!" Chang-Ho growled.
"Because you tried to kill me!" Shi-Woon reiterated.
"Well! You… you…" Chang-Ho stuttered, trying to think of something else to blame on his rival. Chang-ho glanced back at the rest of the group for help.
The skeletons looked at each other unsure of what to say. Except a much older and taller looking skeleton who stepped forward, his hands on his hips.
"Well, I definitely think that you two should go and see some counseling," the boy remarked. The other skeletons started to nod along thoughtfully. "It's obvious that there is some major communication issues going on with this relationship, and you two won't be able to get through it as a couple unless you get some professional help."
"We're not a couple!" Chang-Ho exclaimed, once more.
"Well not with that attitude," The skeleton retorted with a meaningful look.
Chang-Ho grabbed the skeleton wearing boy and started hitting him over the head repeatedly.
"Chang-Ho! Don't." Ha-ru yelled out, leaving her fight to go over to the teenagers who were all standing there watching as Chang-ho beat on the other boy. "Baby, honey. We don't hit our friends," Ha-ru admonished, reaching in to stop Chang-Ho from hurting one of his henchmen.
Jinnie stopped her attacks and waited for Ha-ru to settle her group out. She understood what it was like to have to babysit and she didn't blame the long-haired women from having to take care of the situation.
Shi-Woon looked on, a little worried for the faceless boy.
"Uh, sorry could you, maybe…" A meek voice whispered out.
Shi-Woon glanced around before looking down at the black-haired, glasses wearing nerd who he completely forgot about until that moment.
"Oh, yeah, are you okay? How are you doing?" Shi-Woon asked as he carefully extracted himself from standing directly on top of the other boy.
("Wow. He's nice to everyone," Ha-ru remarked, coming back over to Jinnie after she had finally got Chang-ho to release his grip on the nameless boy, and had sent the boy to stand in the corner.
"You have no idea! It is so fucking annoying," Jinnie remarked, crossing her arms as she watched the scene. "I swear… if every girl doesn't love him by the end of this Manhwa it's not because the creators didn't try hard enough.")
The glasses geek responded, straightening his clothes out. "I'm fine. The author kinda forgot I was here, but that's okay… Look the reason that I was brought back into the narrative was to give you the message that you can totally run right now."
Shi-Woon glanced around, realizing that the boy was right! If he ran from here he could make it to the edge of the school and then jump to his death! Which was looking a lot more preferable to whatever was happening here right now.
Shi-Woon took a step to his freedom, but Ha-ru jumped in his way once again.
"You're not getting away that easily!" Ha-ru yelled out.
Shi-Woon stumbled back. "H-how did you know-"
"He literally said that out loud. It was not that hard to overhear it."
Shi-Woon allowed the explanation. The kid wasn't being that quiet about Shi-Woon's possible escape. But now, Shi-Woon was in an even worse situation! He was surrounded, and the only way he was going to be getting out of here is if he did something drastic.
Shi-Woon stared at the glasses wearing boy, realizing that there was only one way to preserve his chastity.
He grabbed the boy by the lapels, was able to get in one meaningful and sincere apology before he shoved his lips onto the other boy's.
"NO!" Everyone screamed in sync, staring at the kiss. But they shouldn't worry too much, they were both ukes, so the pairing would never actually work out.
"He's not even a main character!"Ha-ru moaned, as she ran forward to try to implement the sixth rule of fanfiction: Love Triangle.
The scene devolved into madness.
So-Chun Hyuk gasped as he looked up from his computer. "I feel like I am missing something very important." He was seated in one of the many rooms of the Heavenly Way compound.
So-Jung Chang raised an aristocratic eyebrow at the younger boy. "Something important? Is there a meeting today? I wouldn't be surprised if the high council forgot to tell you about a meeting or something."
Usually So-Chun would shoot his uncle a glare at the rude insinuations he was making, but So-Chun was completely distracted by this terrible feeling. It was like something of severe importance was happening in the world and he was stuck in this room staring at his computer.
The young genius got up to pace the room. "Was it a meeting? Or maybe it has something to do with… Shi-Woon." The 100 year prodigy turned to stare out the window, wind brushing his hair back from his serious eyes.
His uncle sat watching him unimpressed by the dramatic pose and casually wondering where the wind was coming from, since the window was closed.
-Surprisingly one of the hardest chapters I've ever written. It was hard to make the transition from seriousness to humor and make it surprising too.
Uh, if your curious how I stand on this ship, well, I agree there are problems in the yaoi community with having unhealthy relationships (#badrelationshipgoals) but seriously, this boy has been bullying this kid for years. I kinda expect something's going on there, at least on Chang-Ho's side. And I mean, who wouldn't love Shi-Woon. He's as cute as a button and as sweet as chocolate. Though there are better options for Shi-Woon, in whatever type he likes. Women, men, or goblin.
