I walked alone into the swamps behind Kerning City. When Shala and I returned to the city (using Dark Sight ability), from training against the Stone Golems, I noticed the Crocos in the swamp. They were strong, but not as strong the Stone Golems. Also their smaller size would make it easier for me to use my stabbing techniques.

So I got to the area with the Crocos and held my shield close to my body. When I stood alone there surrounded by the crocodile creatures I suddenly felt uncomfortable. There was something in the air…maybe evil? I don't really know how to explain it. It was like the feeling of being watched combined with goose bumps.

After a few minutes of hunting Crocos I knew something was wrong. The Crocos gathered in small groups around me like they were waiting for something. At first I thought they just did not care about my presence, but it was something else. That something else was Dyle.

I just killed a group of Crocos when he appeared. Like a monstrous bulldozer he rushed out from the deep swamp. It was a giant crocodile with a small red bird-like creature on its back. I was scared and let out a girly scream (you would too, don't deny it).

The giant crocodile chased me around in the swamp for several minutes. I was yelling and running, feeling nothing but pure fear. This guy…thing…creature was going to kill me!

Every time I tried to flee back to the city he cut me off before I could get out of the swamp: "Shala! Please be awake and come save meee!" I found a hanging rope, grabbed onto it and started climbing up. But when I got up a group of Crocos stood there. They smiled at me with their teeth exposed.

They pushed me down again to Dyle and I could have sworn he laughed just before snapping with his giant jaw at me.

"Hey you big bully!" The sound of Shalas voice was like listening to angels sing. She jumped out and threw a couple throwing stars to distract Dyle. He turned around but she was already beside me: "Let's get outta here, Rod."

We made it back to Kerning City, but my whole body was still shaking and trembling. Shala looked at me: "Why would you go into the swamp alone, stupid?" She stuck her tongue out: "I told you it was dangerous to go alone." And the only thing I could come up with was: "Sorry…"
