Hey lovely readers! SOOO sorry it has taken me so long to update! I am in my school's musical so I have rehearsals and such keeping me super busy. I hope you guys are still enjoying this story. I love writing Liam, he is just so adorable! Please enjoy!
Finn is picking up Liam from school today since it's last day of school, and the high school gets out because of final exams. Plus, Rachel is six and a half months pregnant now and she's tired a lot so Finn tries to help out with Liam as much as he can. That doesn't stop things from being really exciting though, Finn and Rachel just found out that they having a girl and of course, Liam is beyond excited about getting a little sister. He's always taking care of his momma though and Finn thinks that is just the sweetest thing in the world.
"Daddy! I didn't know you going to pick me up from school today!" Liam says sming.
"I got out of work early and Mommy's pretty tired so I told her I could pick you up from school today." Finn tells his son.
"Oh, Mommy is always tired now."
"Well, your sister is a pretty tough job, she wears your mom out."
"Oh. I didn't know."
"I thought maybe you and I could go pick up some things at the store for your sister, so we can surprise Mommy. What do you think of that idea?
"Oh yes please! I love surprising Mommy!"
"Okay, we'll go do that then!"
"Daddy? Is my sister going to be okay?"
Finn starts to get concerned. "Of course she is, Buddy. Why are you worried about that?"
"Because, Mommy said she's going to be tinier than I was."
"She'll be fine, Kiddo
"And what about Mommy? Is Mommy going to be okay?"
"Mommy will be okay, you don't need to worry about her."
"Can we get a stuffed animal for my sister?"
"Of course we can!"
"Daddy, look! This bunny is just as soft as my lion?"
"I think Faith will like that one. Good choice !"
"Is that my sister's name, Daddy?
"Mhmm, her name is going to be Faith Starr Marie Hudson."
"That's really pretty."
"It is, isn't it?"
"And she has two middle names, just like I do!
"Yeah, it was your mommy's idea."
"It was a good idea."
"Yeah, do you think we should pick out some outfits for your sister too?"
"Uh huh."
"Ok, you'll have to help me, you know I'm not the best shopper."
"This is pretty, Daddy. We could get her this dress."
"You have good taste, you know that."
"I know Daddy, Uncle Kurt and Uncle Blainey told me that."
Finn chuckles. "Of course they did."
"Did I do a good job of helping?"
"You did an amazing job helping me. We need to get home now so, so we can show Mommy her surprise."
Liam smiles. "Mommy is totally going to love it."

"Hey you two, I missed you guys." Rachel says yawning, her hands resting on her prominent baby bump.
"We missed you too, Mommy. We brought you a surprise." Liam says.
"Oh you did, what kind of surprise?"
"Oh, Liam and I just did a little bit of baby shopping." Finn says smirking.
"You did? Let me see!" Rachel squeals.
"Liam, picked most of this stuff out, he's clearly got much better taste than I do."
"Oh you two, these adorable. Thank you so much."
"I picked out the bunny, Momma." Liam says proudly.'
"I'm sure your sister will love it. How was your last day of school?"
"Good."
"That's good, can you go play in your room a bit so I can talk to your Daddy?"
"Yes, Mommy."
"Is everything okay, Rach. Is there something wrong with the baby?" Finn asks.
Rachel smiles a little. "No, Faith's fine, she's just getting a lot stronger, come here and feel."
Finn gently places his hands on Rachel's stomach and smiles. "Oh my goodness, she's a strong little girl, that's for sure."
"I just want her here already."
"I know, she'll be here with us soon enough."
"You can talk to her if you want, I think she likes the sound of your voice."
"Hey there, princess, it's your daddy, I just wanted to tell you that I love you and I can't wait to meet you." Finn whispers pressing a gentle kiss over Rachel's baby bump.
"Can you feel how strong she's kicking, that means she loves you, she loves her daddy."
"How'd we get so lucky, a perfect little boy, and soon enough we will have our perfect baby girl."
"I don't know, but our family is perfect."
"I forgot to tell you, but my mom is coming out to see us when Faith is born, but mostly so she can take Liam off of your hands so you can take care of our baby girl."
"Your mom is a saint, she really is."
"She just loves us, she really loves you, she always has."
"And she sure does love Liam, that's for sure."
"Who doesn't, he's such an awesome kid, well behaved too."
"Yeah, I just hope he does okay when the baby comes."
"He will, come on, he's beyond excited to be a big brother."
"But Finn, he's so used to having our undivided attention, the extra time with the baby is going to be hard on him."
"I know, but he's going to be fine, I'll keep him busy so you can take care of Faith, it'll be no big deal."
"I just, he's my little boy, he's always been, I just don't want him to forget about that."
"Rachel, he will always be your little boy, he's a mommy's boy, he loves you."
"So, does that mean that Faith is going to be your little girl?"
"Of course she is, are you kidding, she'll look just like you, how could I not fall in love with her cute little face."
"I love you, you know that?"
"Of course I do. I love you too."
"Should we go check on our little man?"
"Yeah, that's probably a good idea, but I'm sure he's fine."
"I'll go, I've hardly spent any time with him today."
"He's missed you, I think he'd like that."
"Hey Sweetie, what have you been up to?" Rachel asks Liam.
"Playing with cars. With my track that I got for my birthday."
"Oh, I see, you want me to play with you?"
Liam giggles. "Mommy, you don't like playing cars."
"I know, but I wanted to spend some time with you, I've missed you, and I want to make sure you're doing okay about the baby."
"I'm fine, Mommy. But I'm scared⦠nevermind."
"What is it, baby you can tell me."
"What if you and Daddy don't love me as much after my sister is born."
"Honey, why would you think that? That would never happen."
"Because⦠the baby will get more time with you."
"Liam, look at me. Daddy and I will always have time for you."
"But, I'm your little boy, what if that goes away?
Rachel's heart breaks. "Come here, Pumpkin. You remember what I said about the day you were born?"
"That I made you super happy?"
"Right, and you know what?"
"What?"
"You still make me that happy every morning when I wake up, I think about how lucky I am to have you."
"You love me that much?"
"I love you so much, more than you'll ever know." Now, why don't you come here and give me a hug."
Liam's eyes widen when he goes to hug Rachel. "Was that my sister, Momma? I think she moved.
Rachel grins. "Yeah, she did. Faith's just telling you that she loves you, she loves her big brother."
"I love her too."
"Good, now let's go sit with Daddy, I bet he's almost done fixing dinner."

"Morning Momma."
"Morning, could I make you some breakfast?"
"Yes please! I'm hungry, Mommy."
"Baby, you're always hungry, you get that from your daddy."
"But I'm a growing boy."
"That's right, you sure are."
"When's Daddy coming home?"
"He'll be home after lunch."
"Can we go see him at work?"
"I don't think that's a good idea, he has to get his classroom all packed up for the summer. He will be really busy."
"Oh okay."
"But look on the bright side, you and I get to get to spend the whole day together."
"Yeah! Can we bake cookies?"
"Sure! What kind do you want to make?"
"Chocolate chip! That's the best kind of cookie there is. They are delicious."
"Yeah, those are your daddy's favorite kind too."
"We'll save him some right?"
"Of course we will. He'll be so happy that you thought of him."
"I want to make cookies now, Mommy!
Rachel grins, Liam really is like Finn's twin. "Nope, you have to eat your breakfast first, then you can have cookies, too much sugar isn't good for growing little boys like you."
"But it's so yummy, Mommy."
"Eat your egg first, and then you can have cookies, I'll even let you have a few extra chocolate chips."
"Oh boy! I like it when you let me have extra chocolate chips, they are so good."
"Yeah, they're yummy, aren't they? You're such a good eater, you know that?"
"Yeah, Daddy says that I get that from him."
"Oh you do. You've ate well ever since you were just a baby"
"Was I a cute baby?"
"Yeah, the cutest. You're still cute though."
"Daddy says I was tiny."
"You were. You were only 6 pounds and five ounces."
"How big do you think Faith is going to be, Mommy?"
"Probably a little bit tinier than you actually."
"Is that a bad thing?"
"Not as long as she's healthy."
"Is she going to look like you, or like Daddy?"
Rachel smiles. "I don't know, we'll have to wait and see."
"I want her here now though now though, Mommy!"
"I know you do, so do I."

"Hey you two, I'm home." Finn says.
"Hi Daddy! Did you have a good day at work?" Liam asks.
"I sure did. What about you, little man, did you have a good day with Mommy?"
"Uh huh! We made chocolate chip cookies and we saved you some too."
""You did? That was awfully nice of you and your mother."
"I want to show you my picture, Daddy. I drew a picture for my sister."
Finn smiles, his son is just the sweetest little boy. "That's very pretty, I'm sure Faith is going to like it."
"I hope she does."
"She will, I promise."
"Daddy, can we show Mommy what you and I finished up yesterday?"
Finn smiles, he'd almost forgotten that he and Liam had finished up the nursery while Rachel was sleeping. "Oh yeah, good idea, Buddy."
"You boys have a surprise for me?"
"Yeah, but no peeking, Mommy." Liam teases.
"Okay, I won't."
Finn props open the door and Rachel's mouth falls open from surprise. "Oh boys, you fixed up the nursery, thank you so much!"
"You like it?" Finn asks.
"I love it, you two did an amazing job."
"Well it had to be all pretty, you know, for our pretty little girl."
"Liam was a big help too, he helped me put all the toys and books in place."
"Well, you two, this was very, very sweet of you."
"Liam, can I have a minute with Mommy? I'll be right back."
"Okay, Daddy."
"So, what do you think, is it good enough?"
"Are you kidding? Finn, it's perfect. It's so girly and princess like. I like the ballet slippers hanging on the wall by her dresser.
Finn smirks. "Look familiar?"
"Oh my goodness, those are mine from when I was a little girl."
"Yeah, your dads sent them to me. I thought they'd be the perfect sentimental touch for Faith's room."
"She's so loved already."
"There's a couple more things I wanted to show you."
"Aww, that's so sweet, look at her baby blanket, it's just like the one you had made before Liam was born."
"I knew you would love it all."
"I think Faith likes her room, she's kicking a lot, feel."
"Oh my goodness, she is. She's strong for how tiny she's supposed be. Is that right pretty girl, do you like your room?"
"She totally does, she's kicking again. she's happy. She's just like Liam was, she kicks a lot when she's happy."
"I thought so. Daddy loves you, Faith and so do Mommy and Liam. We can't wait to meet you."
