"So you mind telling us why the hell you're here?" Marceline asked as Hunson was in his room changing.
"My brother, Marissa and Benjamin and I were on a double date when we were attacked by were-gnomes, and then they took Be-"
"Get to the point,"
"Long story short Ben and I went to the Candy Kingdom to find Marissa and my brother when we found everything in ruins. We found Pyro, Marissa and PB all unconscious, but that was when he found us…"
Finn roared viciously as he lunged at Flame and Ben. (I changed Flame Prince's name to Pyro because Jarred was just a terrible name for him and it's fire-related so…)
Ben pushed Flame aside, causing him to get tackled by Finn.
"Benjamin!" Flame screamed.
"Go! Leave! You need to run as far away as you can and don't look back!" Ben shouted, holding Finn back from ripping his face to shreds.
"No! I'm not leaving you!" Flame protested before throwing a fireball at Finn. Finn hissed in pain as he was knocked off Ben and flew to the wall.
Flame grabbed Ben's wrist and ran out, bringing him with her.
"Wait! What about the others?!" Benjamin questioned.
Flame stopped in tracks. She'd forgotten about them.
"There's got to be a way-"
Ben was cut off by Finn slashing him in the back, and collapsed to the floor.
"Ben! Finn, what the junk?! Why are you doing this?!" Flame demanded.
Finn only grinned evilly, revealing razor sharp canine teeth, and said in a deep demonic voice, "Finn is no longer here…there is only…KAOS!"
Large black dragon wings suddenly grew from Finn's, or rather, Kaos's back.
"No…the demon…he's in control of Finn's body now…" Flame whispered fearfully, backing up.
Kaos the demon darkly chuckled. "That's right…body, mind, and soon, SOUL!"
On the last word black lightning struck from the sky and onto the building, instantly lighting the whole place on fire.
Flame fired a jet of flames from her feet and palms, flying out a window and away from the building just a few seconds before the whole place explodes, somehow taking half of the kingdom with it.
The explosion almost reached Flame, but a sonic wave hit her, causing her to fly off course and crash land into a wooden shack in an alley and fall into unconsciousness…
"After I blacked out, I woke up to see Finn, uh, I mean, Kaos killing the Gumball Guardians. It was terrible. I don't think there was any other person in the kingdom alive. Some were either dead or had fled from the place…and because of my selfishness…B-Ben and th-the others a-are…" Flame stammered, fighting back tears.
"I…I can't believe it…Bonnie…sh-she…she's actually…oh Gob…what do I tell Hoby…?" Braco rasped sadly, bending down on his knees, his hands on his face.
"This is all my fault…I had called Finn a goody-two shoes for no reason…I'd been teasing him for all these years now…heh…karama's a bitch…" Marceline stated, also attempting to hold back tears.
"It's okay, Flame Princess…" Simon said, putting his hand on her shoulder. "It wasn't your fault…guys…the past is the past I know it's hard but you gotta put it behind you and forget about it. You should know that by now, Marce, and Magic Man. What's more important now is that we stop Kaos and save Finn so we save the future…"
Marceline sniffled, wiping her eyes before putting on a serious and determined face. "Simon's right guys…moping and thinking about the past won't get us anywhere. We have to just forget about it and look on to the future!"
"What future?!" Braco yelled. "We are no match against the Forgotten, Deadly and Legendary Demon of Pure Evil, Kaos! Even with the Lord of Evil! And even if we were, how are we supposed to defeat him without possibly hurting or even killing Finn?! There is no future! We are all doomed! And hiding won't help either! He's sure to spread his reign all over Ooo, and then maybe even other dimensions, including this one! How can you say forgetting about the past and focusing on the future will also bring back our loved ones! And those others who lost their lives?!"
"We can avenge them. So that they didn't die in vein!" exclaimed Marceline.
Braco only shook his head, laughing. "Avenge them?! HA! Still won't do anything! Looking ahead towards the future won't do any good of bringing back everyone just as much as looking back at the past won't do any good! There is no hope! We don't have any destinies or fates! We're all going to die and there's nothing we can do about it!"
"How can you say that?!" Marceline shouted, grabbing Braco by the collar, her fist in the air ready. She was on the verge of punching his lights out. "Together we can still stop him! We can't give up now and have all we went through go to waste! Is that what Bonnibel would have wanted?!"
"Don't you dare ever mention her name, you foul creature! How would you possibly know that?!"
"Well she is over a thousand years old. And PB was close to that age. I'm sure they met long before any of us, excluding Simon and Hunson, were even born." said Flame. "She's bound to know more of Bonnie than any of us, despite you being her husband."
"Exactly!" Marceline said. "Thank you for backing me up, Little Red!"
"Whatever!" Braco growled. "That still doesn't change my mind."
"Pfft. I can't believe this. It's sad that Bonnibel married this cowardly loser. And what a great role model you are for your son, too."
"SHUT UP! I'm only saying this because it's the truth!"
"Braco, c'mon, man. Listen to yourself. A grown man like you quitting? That's not the Braco I knew." Magic Man stated.
" And what Braco did you know?" Braco asked furiously.
"He was the Braco that never gave up on any simple task. Not even getting something. When his mother asked him to help her find her earring, he never gave up. It'd be weeks, and he'd still be looking for it. Then finally, it'd come up out of nowhere due to a certain someone finally finding it. It was the same for school too. He never gave up studying hard to get good grades, which usually got him bullied and picked on, but he didn't even care. And helping others. When he and his mother were ever at the market, he'd sometimes ask random strangers if they needed any help finding something or doing something, which most of the time got him in trouble, but was still worth it for him anyways. He also never gave up on forcing himself to eat nasty vegetables so he could grow up to be strong like his father. And most of all, when he had met Bonnibel Bubblegum, he had went to such high measures that normal people would think would be crazy and give up themselves just to be with her. He had risked his life, and he even gave up his own regular appearance to be with her. When he had found out the PB he had been with almost two years was just a fake, he went straight back to the Candy Kingdom, determined to get the real deal. See what I mean now?"
Braco sighed, wiping his eyes and face from the tears that had fallen. "I…"
"…Dad?"
Everyone turned to see Hoby standing beside a fully clothed Hunson.
"Found the little rascal hiding under my bed," Hunson said, chuckling.
"Hoby? What are you doing here? You're supposed to be back at home!" Braco exclaimed, going over to his son.
"I know but…I just didn't want to be afraid anymore…I'm sick of hiding all the time…I wanna be a real hero like Finn…I wanna actually accomplish something that me and you and Mommy can be proud of."
"Son…" Braco looked back at the others who were smiling at him. He sighed. "I'm sorry, but…I just can't do it…it's too dangerous, Hobus…"
"B-But Daddy…!" Hoby started.
"No, son. It's just not safe."
Hobus looked down in disappointment before forming a fist, shaking it in exasperation. "I don't care what you say, Dad!" he yelled. "If you're not going…th-then…then I will!"
"No! It's too-"
"Wasn't it dangerous for you to go to the Vapor Swamps to retrieve the Soul Stone for Bonnie?" Flame asked.
"And wasn't it dangerous itself to say yes to helping me and Magic Man?" added Marceline.
"No! I refuse! I refuse, I refuse, I refuse! I'm not going to be foolish like you morons to go out there and get myself ki-" Braco stopped when he realized what he was saying, turning back to Hobus. "Hoby I didn't mean-"
Hoby with tears in his eyes only backed away slowly before charging out.
"Stop! Hoby!" Braco called after him but to no avail.
"I'll go after him," Magic Man said before teleporting from the room.
"So now what?" Flame asked.
"…I'm going home…" Braco whispered, walking over to the portal.
"What? But what about your so-"
"He obviously hates me now!" Braco screamed at the princess before claming down. "So what's the point? What's the point of anything anymore?" And with that Braco exited through the portal.
"Okay, now that that's over, we'll need some help. I've got a friend who knows how to deal with demons and seals. Simon how about you? Anyone? Or any objects?"
"There is the Demonic Wishing Eye that Gunter-"
"What the hell?! And you let that evil being have it?! It could use it for-"
"Making copies of itself and taking over Ooo? Yeah, that event has already happened when my alter-ego was still around. I took it from him and hid it. If I think hard enough I can possibly remember where it is."
"Well go get it then! Also when you find it, meet us at Aaa's Nightosphere."
Simon nodded before going through the portal.
"Why the Nightosphere of Aaa, Dad?" Marceline asked in confusion.
"We're going to need all the help we can get. Which means we'll also have to ask help from your mother, your brother and Fionna and Cake." Hunson morphed into his demonic form. "C'mon! It's one hour and 14 minutes by foot, but only 55 minutes by flight!"
"What about Magic Man and Hobus?" questioned Flame.
"Don't worry. Eric will know. Now let's go!"
The girls nodded and followed the Lord of Evil in the air, journeying to the Nightosphere in Aaa.
Ashley flew to the wall and collapsed to the ground. She had proven too weak for the Lady of Evil.
Marshall and Fionna were panting, tiring from the fight. But if they were going to the get out they had to beat Hanna. During the duel Fionna, without getting killed, tried to call Finn but he wouldn't answer. She then tried Jake since Cake was on her honeymoon with L.M, but Jake was also on a honeymoon.
"C-Can you…cover me, Fionna? I need to make a call…" Marshall rasped.
Fionna nodded, despite the fact she was laying on her back, taking out a bottle of water to drink.
Marshall dialed Marceline's cell as he sucked the red from an apple Fionna conveniently had with her.
….
….
….
"…Hello?"
"Yes! Marceline?!"
"Marshall! Good, it's you! I need to talk to you!"
"Well I need to talk first because Fi and I are in a predicament right now."
"Fionna's there too?!"
"Yeah. One night I was somehow kidnapped and dragged here in the Nightosphere to be the prize of the 946th Annual Nightosphere Duel! Fionna came to rescue me by participating, but when she won, Mom suddenly went on her fucking period and challenged Fi. Long story short, Ashley's not so bad and we need your help to defeat Mom."
"…."
"Hello? Marce?"
"Dad…we kinda got a problem…"
"Dad? Dad's with you?! Marceline?"
"Okay, look. It's my turn now."
*one story told later*
"And that's why we're coming to the Nightosphere of Aaa for you and Fionna's help, and including Mom's."
"Well what are we supposed to do?! Mom's starting to get up, and I don't think convincing her or telling her what you just told me is gonna help when she's do busy taking out her freakin' period rage on us!"
"Hmm…first think of a way of distracting the audience…"
"Why?"
"Just do it!"
"Okay, fine!"
Marshall turned to the crowd before shouting as loud as he could, "RIOT!"
Everything was silent for a few moments before the whole crowd turned into one mess of violent fighting, causing the guards to have to break it up.
"Marshall, what are you doing?!" Fionna asked in shock. "And who are you talking to one the phone?!"
"Done," Marshall said on the phone.
"Good. Now with the guards-"
"Got that too,"
"…Not even gonna ask. Now, GET THE SHIT OUT OF THERE!"
Marshall grabbed Ashley's unconscious body, carrying her over his shoulder and grabbed Fionna's wrist before taking off in the air out of the arena.
"Marshall?! What's going on?!" Fionna questioned.
"Okay, we're out. Damn, I don't understand why I didn't think of this earlier. So now what?"
"Go to Mom's place. It's where she'd least expect you guys to go. She'll obviously go to Aaa, thinking you guys went there."
"But then she'll suck all the souls in Aaa trying to find us!"
"No she won't. Remember? Annual Nightosphere Duel Rules? The leader of the Nightosphere is not allowed to wreck havoc while in another dimension during an Annual Nightosphere Duel. Even though she'll be pissed at the same time, Mom always remembers everything."
"Got it. So I guess that means we wait for you guys at Mom's residence,"
"Yep. See ya." Marceline hung up.
Marshall hung up his phone and put it away before finally getting to the Lady of Evil's house. It was basically the same as Hunson's only with some different pictures and paintings.
They went to the living room before Marshall set Ashley on the couch and collapsed to the floor along with Fionna.
"Glad that's all over, huh?"
Fionna sent her fist across Marshall's face.
"My cheek-meat! The fuck?!" Marshall shrieked in pain.
"I have no idea what is going on and kept asking you but you ignored me!"
"Talking to someone on the phone is rude, you know!"
"Since when did you care about manners?!"
"Since I wanted to. WHOA!" Marshall dodged another punch from Fionna.
"Cut that out! Look. You can either keep beating on me, or let me explain to you what happened while we tend to our and Ashley's injuries and rest."
Fionna blew a strand of hair from her fair, crossing her arms. "…Fine. Go ahead."
Marshall smirked. "Well, you got a first aid kit in your backpack?"
Fionna nodded, pulling out the First Aid Kit and tossing it to Marshall.
Marshall caught it, grinning. "Now. I'll go get us some food and then I'll start it off."
Hope you guys are happy I've updated this. I looks like this story has a lot more reviews than I thought it would have. Anyway, hope you guys liked this chapter. Also, why did I change my name? I was bored of my old one. Just got sick of it.
