(Welp, after figuring out you can't have the Crimson and the Corruption in the same world, and I want the Crimson in this fanfic, I consulted my mighty brain! If you have any ideas for how to add in the Crimson, please let me know!)
Chapter 9: How Things Have Been Lately…
Hello oh sweet journal of mine, Dave here to tell you about how things have been going over the past few months, so here goes…
(Larxene)
I was just walking around our house, which has gotten considerably bigger. Those twits Axel, Roxas and Xion are deciding to build our Castle That Never Was here. What a joke. Anyways, I saw some blueberries, one of my favorite things to eat, so I picked some. As soon as I grabbed the berries another hand met mine. I summoned my Trancheuse and held them up to the guy's throat. "Please! I only need these for some dye!" the man yelled. He screams like a girl, heh heh!
"Dye, you say?" I said, unsummoning them. "You mean like colorings, right?"
"You could say that. I am but a mere Dye Trader named Ahinadab. And you are?"
"Well, if you're here, I can assume you're lost. Name's Larxene, Number 11 of Organization 13."
"Very interesting… Would you mind if I stayed at your humble abode for a while? All this time I have been attacked by slimes, and-"
"Alright alright, you can stay! You should get acquainted with our home though, it is anything BUT humble."
"Alright, I shall go introduce myself. Carry on." And with that, he left.
He left the blueberries there. Heh heh, sucker! I took them.
(Steve)
It was just a normal day of looking around for anything suspicious and the mass murder of slimes. After cash checking, I assumed we have about 50 silver coins of this world's currency. It wasn't long before I saw a man trying to swindle a Green Slime. Surprisingly, it liked him! "Um, sir? Do you happen to own that slime?"
"No sirree, but they all seem to like me! You, sir, seem like the perfect person to be my assistant! My name's Gilbert the Merchant! And you are?"
"Steve. You can stay at our house, if you like."
"Why thank you, kind sir! I will be sure to work on setting up shop immediately!" And he left for home.
Well, I guess being his assistant can't be that bad, I mean, all the money we could earn! And Green Slimes seem to like him, too.
(Pewdie)
I was out in the mines looking for copper, iron and other resources for our aid. Along the way I stumbled upon a deep cavern, which my 'old friend' Toby was exploring. "What brings you here?" he asked suspiciously.
"Mining. You?"
"I saw a couple of shady characters head into this cavern, so I thought I'd bust them. Wanna join me?"
"Sure! I've got nothing else to do other than look for ores that could be in here anyways." We joined forces for now.
Deeper in the cavern, after I took out a pack of Giant Worms and Toby covering me from Demon Eyes, we reached a point where we heard voices.
"Interesting," a female voice said. "These crystals have the ability to increase one's vitality. Do you hear this Boften?"
"Yeah, yeah." A scruffier, dwarfy voice said. "When do I get to blow stuff up?"
Then a very familiar voice resounded. "I went with you guys to find my friends, not to look for crystals!"
"S-stephano?" I asked with great glee.
"Those are who I was looking for!" Toby said. "Let's meet them!" We jumped down, using the water to cover ourselves.
"Hello there, strangers." I introduced myself.
"Yes, hello. And you are?" The woman studying the crystal asked intently.
"I'm none other than Pewwwwwwwwwwwdiepie! And this is my friend Tobuscus." I answered confidently. Nothing could stop me with Stephano around.
"Pewdie? Is that you?" Stephano said, looking over at me.
"You know him? Anyways, my name's Boften and the pretty lady over there is my nurse friend Caitlin. I blow the stuff up and she heals me afterwards." The dwarf-person said.
"We found your friend, Stephano, looking around calling your name. We decided to let him join us so we could find civilization." The nurse Caitlin said. She was pretty cute, which reminded me of Marzia. If Stephano was here, surely she must be, too!
"You can stay at our home, but we'll need a lot more rooms…" Toby said.
"Stephano can stay in my room, we're practically bros!" I said happily.
"Then it's settled! We are going to stay with you and your friends!" Boften exclaimed. "And blow up tons of stuff too!"
"Wait," Toby said. "…How do we get out?"
Luckily I had a supply of dirt blocks on hand.
(Nobody)
As Pewdie and the others exited the chamber with the Heart Crystal in their grasp, a miniature pair of sunglasses, a pair of white eyes and a crystal ball is consulting in the shadows.
"It has begun…" The crystal ball said. "Begin Phase One of our Master Plan. I trust you two won't fail in separating them."
"Oh we won't." The sunglasses said. "We're their sworn enemies! No way are they going to leave us alone long enough."
"We won't fail, sir." The white eyes said. The two figures disappear, leaving the crystal ball.
"Prepare yourselves, Pewdie, Steve."
(Roxas)
"ARGH! How are we ever gonna start this project?!" Axel said angrily.
"Calm down, Axel, we'll find a way," Xion said, trying to calm down and furious pyro.
"If only we could find a way to paint blocks…" I said, contemplating the situation.
"Did someone-a say-a paint?" An Italian-like voice sounded, and we turned at the voice. Standing there was a man wearing painter's clothes and holding a paint brush and bucket.
"Can we help you? " Axel said.
"No, no, it is I who can help you," said the man. "My name is-a Guido. I am-a a fine painter-a who specializes in painting-a."
"Great! We'll set up a residence for you immediately, and can you get us some white paint while you're at it?"
"A-sure-a!" Guido said.
"Great, we can finally start our building project!" Xion exclaimed, her happy self back.
(Dave)
And that's how everything has been! I have to go now, something about supervising the CTNW project. So bye!
(This is my longest chapter yet, spanning three entire pages and the course of two days! Please read and review as always and we have a special surprise next chapter!)
