Chapter 9-The Calm before the Storm

The visual kei idol sat on his sofa in his greenroom trying to absorb the new information he was fed just a few days ago. How the fuck is that guy related THE Hizuri Kuu? Former acting
teacher? A senpai? From what I found out, he was previously in LME but this was way before that bastard joined LME.…or…
The singer pulled his hair in frustration thinking that his last assumption is definitely not the case. That can't be possible…Kyoko's overactive imagination must be rubbing off on me. At the very least I was able to get his manager's contact information. The idol smirked refusing to accept the fact on how much he had to beg and beg the upper management and his senpai, who he knew the actor had worked with in the past, to give it to him. I'll give him a call after this variety recording.

"Fuwa-san it's time for you to be on standby!" A staff called. The singer sighed as he made his way out of his greenroom, meeting up with his cast members of the
drama.

"I can't believe that I'm stuck here doing this variety show with you of all people." The teen actress growled.

"Feeling is mutual." He smirked as he headed towards the set faster. Why you!

"Mogami-san calm down. We're going to be on set with our Dai-senpais after all. WE must not
lose face here." Ren tried to reason, as much as the actor wanted to punch the arrogant singer. The actress knew her senpai was right and exhaled trying to calm her nerves down as she heard the hosts of the show introducing them. The cast members appeared out of the doors and headed down the stairs to the center
of the floor, as they faced the five handsome males host of the show.

"And today's guest are the drama Romantic Princess Team!" one of the host, Sakurai Sho introduced, as the audience cheered.

"Yoroshi onegaishimau!" the cast members greeted.

"So it's everyone's first time appearing in VS Arashi right?" One of the main host asked.

"Yes and thank you for calling us to your show Sakurai-senpai." The singer greeted, giving his idol smile, as the audience screamed in excitement.

"Oh yeah we've met a few times in Music Station right? I remember cause you have the same name as our Sho-chan here." The bratty member, Ninomiya Kazunari, remarked, as he chuckled.

"Sho and Sho. A double." The eldest, Ohno Satoshi blankly stated, giving a slight giggle. The
young teen actress stood there speechless, not knowing what this situation was. Wha-...What is happening here? How does this bastard know THE Arashi senpais?! They are like gods in the
entertainment business, a place objectively even higher than even Tsuruga-senpai. And yet THIS IDIOT is acting like they're buddy buddy?!

"And also it's not our first time meeting with Ren-chan, I see you're tall as always neh? I'm so jealous~" The tallest, cheery member, Aiba Masaki, smiled.

"It's been a while senpais." The actor bowed, giving his gentlemen smile, as the crowd of
women in the audience screamed louder..

"As usual your gentleman smile seriously gets all the ladies huh? And you work with all of us
in each of our respective drama. You're basically Arashi family aren't you? You should join this side instead of there!" The youngest Arashi member, Matsumoto Jun joked.

"Matsumoto-senpai I can't possibly leave the heroine of the drama now can't I?" The actor smiled back, as the young teen blushed slightly as the comment.

"So this is the new rising star rookie actress everyone is talking about? I've watched Dark Moon, I really like your portrayal of Mio in the drama and I'm also watching Boxer R." Nino complimented, earning a blush from the young teen.

"Eh for the 39th Awarded Best National actor to compliment on a kohai's acting, it's surprising neh? I don't think I've ever heard our Ninomi give a compliment to a kohai ever, in the 20 years I've work with him, other than our Ren-chan here." Aiba giggled.

"T-Thank y-y-ou, Ninomiya-sama, but I'm still a novice that still has much to learn."

"Hahas and so modest too. Nino you should learn from her." the Sakurai Sho joked, as
everyone in the audience laughed.

"Hmph! Well let's get started with the games shall we?" The bratty member pouted, earning more
laughter from the audience and from the guest, as the actress felt all of her nervousness fade away from the sound of everyone's laughter. She spotted the eldest member of Arashi giving her a warm smile to her and mouthing "Don't be nervous". She flinched slightly, surprised at the action, and smiled back
nodding a thanks, as she took her seat with her cast members waiting for the games to be set. They truly are amazing. They were able to make my nervousness disappear just like that, knowing I was nervous, especially Ohno-san. As expected of senpais, I cannot lose!

The game proceeded without any conflict but soon game after game, instead of focusing on winning
against the host of the show, the games started to turn into a battle between the actor and the visual kei singer…well more like the Sho trying to outdo the actor, as Ren tried to keep his composure. In result the team ended up losing many of the games horrifically, and after the fourth game, the players were given a 15 minutes break while the staff were setting up for the final game, Kicking Sniper. The 5 idol members noticed the strain on the opposing side's teamwork, as they nodded to each other and made their way to the other team.

"Say Fuwa-kun, Ren-chan and Kyoko-chan, can we see you for a second please?" The leader, Ohno, asked as the three jumped slightly, knowing what was coming, and made their way to the back on the set, where they'll be no prying eyes or ears.

"I'm going to put this bluntly." Nino began, as his eyes turned dark, and cold, glaring at the three talents.

"You guys better get your shit together and actually try your best to win on the next round. This recording has been a bust, with us just winning and at this rate the entire shoot in general is going to be a NG. If you guys so much as to try and bring our ratings down due to your own personal problems, prepare yourselves." Nino warned, his expression was even more frightening than the Emperor of the Night. Kyoko screamed internally for her life as her anger antenna was overly reacting to the kill intent in the air. She immediately went down to her knees and began to grovel,

"MY APOLOGIZES SENPAI! PLEASE FORGIVE THIS LOWLY KOHAI FOR DENTING THIS SHOW'S REPUTATION!" Kyoko nodded profusely in apology. The members felt their sweat drop on the back of their head at the overreaction that they were getting but accepted it nonetheless.

"Kyoko-chan, our Ninomi didn't mean to scare you like that but you know this show is really important to us, and these games are not just about winning or losing, we need to think of the way each games are played as well as even the point balance to make sure that the overall shooting has enough development and content in them so that our audience will watch, and so far with just us winning, it's not enough content for a good episode, even when we were going really easy on you guys. Viewer might think it's boring that we're just winning all these game and others might even question the teamwork of your team." Aiba explained, frowning in disappointment.

"So either actually TRY to work together, especially you Fuwa, cause don't think we don't noticed your little battle with Tsuruga, or expect punishment." the rapper, Sakurai Sho threatened, sending chill down everyone's spine. Stupid Shotarou! It's all your fault!

"Now now, Sho-chan let's not scared them. Listen on the final game we'll give you guys a handicap and so if you follow my instruction, maybe you guys can turn this around." The leader (Ohno) suggested. The three bowed once again before returning to their seats, as the final game was starting. In the end the drama team made a miraculous turnaround winning with a 20 point lead, thanks to the handicap that was given to them. After the shoot had wrapped up Sho had headed towards his greenroom, and he began dialing a specific number on his phone.

"Hello this is Takaki Rui." The man answered,

"Hi Takaki-san, I want to introduce myself, my name is Fuwa Sho, and I wanted to discuss a few things regarding an important matter with Mr. Hizuri, is it possible to meet up with him at his earliest convenience? It's my understanding that he is staying in Japan right now." Sho smirked. Finally

To say that today had been a long day was an understatement to the actor, after the awful variety shooting, after he had to go record a commercial, which the lead actress in that commercial kept messing up, and then a photoshoot or RMandy and finally had to make an appearance for a talk show. When he finally reached his apartment, he dragged his feet and fell unto the couch, covering his eyes with his arms. It wasn't until a few seconds later that he had felt his back pocket vibrate, as he lazily reached for phone and answered his phone."Hello?"

"Hey kid it's me." the voice answered.

"Dad?! H-how did you get my number?!"

"Hey kid, sorry for calling you on short notice, Boss gave me your number since this is kind of an emergency." The Hollywood actor answered. Ren was immediately silent, trying to deduce what kind of emergency it was that made his father even call the president to get in direct contact with him.

"Are you familiar with Fuwa Sho?" Kuu began, as the actor instinctively gave an inaudible growl upon hearing the cursed name.

"What about him? And second why and how in God's name are you bringing him up?"

"Well it's no news that I'm staying in Japan for a few weeks for my movie promotion here. He somehow got my manager's number, probably through someone people I worked with that are senpais at his company, and called asking him if he can meet up with me to discuss some important matters. I thought it was some sort of job offer that his company made him give, since he is a top talent that the company has, but when I met the young lad a few hours after the call, while he did mention maybe possibly acting for his special PV that he was going to show in his world tour, he mentioned you and was trying to probe any connections that we had. Of course I simply told him that you were just my kohai that ended in the same company that I use to work for, that we just happened to get acquainted with during my stay in Japan last year, and that we just naturally kind of got close from there." The Hollywood actor explained. Ren was stunned that the idol was able to come already this far in his little investigation and thank god that his father was smart enough to lie and put a temporary block in that.

"Thanks for the save dad." Ren sighed.

"Not a problem, now care to explain why this fellow was trying to dig around? What exactly is happening over there? Tell me everything or else you'll hear from your mother young man." Kuu questioned, raising his eyebrow in suspicion. Ren sighed and knew that he was eventually going to have to tell his father everything about him and Kyoko but didn't know that it had to be this soon.

"Alright I'll tell you, but please don't tell mom yet, or boss ok? Please?" Kuon begged, knowing this was the only way to get his father to keep his mouth shut. Ren began storytelling everything that had happened from the beginning on how he met Kyoko when he had followed his father to Kyoto all those years ago and who Fuwa Sho was to her and everything up until the present, that the three of them were now shooting a drama together and how he let Kuon slip when Kyoko was sick, etc. After finishing his story, everything became dead silent, bringing the heavy tension in the air. Ren gulped, slightly panicking on his father's reaction.

"So…..that bastard had the nerve to use my precious other "son" like a maid and just dumped her like she was just a useless object?! Where is he, where does he live, cause I'm gonna give that little shit a piece of my mind!" Kuu snarled, and knowing his father he is definitely a person who is capable of doing more than just that, his mother would probably be worse if she ever found out.

"Dad, let me handle it from here, this is my fight with that guy and I don't want to involve you and make Fuwa even more suspicious of our relations."

Kuu sighed, knowing that his son was right, "You're right, but son, wouldn't it be better to just tell that girl everything? I mean you can't keep this hidden forever, it's just not fair to her and I think the sooner you tell her the better."

"I know, I know, it's just it's easier said than done, I don't want to lose her, and I feel like, she'll close her heart and never want to see me again if I tell her." Kuon sighed, hanging down his face in fear.

"I don't think that girl can ever hate you if you're just honest with her, she might be surprised yeah, but if she's the girl that I got to know during my stay there, she'll definitely understand or at least try to. So try and find the courage to tell, her or someone else is going to sweep her from under your nose and you're going to regret it." Kuu snickered, before hanging up on his son. Tsk...hate to admit it but he's right…..but how am I going to tell her?

The next morning, Ren tried to mentally prepared himself, brainstorming multiple ways on how he was going to confess to Kyoko about everything. However, no matter what scenario he came up with it always led to the worst one, he was panicking and it prevented him from getting any sleep the night before. Thank god for the triple shot expressos. He walked towards his greenroom to prepare for the shoot, and begrudgingly noticed a certain singer standing in front of his door.

"To what do I owe this honor of having you stand on my greenroom Fuwa-kun?" Ren used his gentlemen smile. The singer simply smirked before going back to his own greenroom. The actor just stood there, wondering what had just happened, and whatever it was it seemed like he didn't have much time. He needed to talk to the teen actress as soon as possible.

Wh-what? Himeno what are you trying to say?" Emp stuttered, baffled at what just came out of his grand daughters mouth.

"I said I want to be the one to take over the company as the next successor instead of letting any of these four take over." Himeno repeated, her eyes reflecting her sheer determination that screamed that she wasn't going to go back out or even take a no as an answer. Emp blinked a couple of times as he then began to laugh hysterically at the outcome of this situation. He knew that the his granddaughter has been trying to figure out a way to save Natsume from taking over the company but never did he expect this.

"Alright alright, you win and it's my loss, but Himeno, let me warn you, you have to prepare yourself, cause my board of directors will be the one to judge whether you are fit for the seat or not. You understand what the means don't you?" He smiled, knowing her answer.

"Of course! I'm up for any challenge, bring it on!" She declared as her grandfather proudly nodded.

"Then it's settled, I'll sign you up for the best tutors to help you with the preparation." He smiled, as he signaled the maids in to escort their young lady out of his office. She smiled and followed the maids out as she began preparing for what she knew would be hell the next few weeks. As soon as the door closed behind Himeno the two men stood their in silence not knowing what to say in front of Emp.

"So are you two just going to stand there like a couple of deers caught in the headlights?" The older male chuckled, taking a sip of his tea.

"So now you two and your younger brothers are no longer obligated to take over my company, what are you guys going to do now?" He continued to asked, snapping the two out of their thoughts. They didn't think that the heiress would go as far as thinking of taking over herself and her declaration to her grandfather had just left the two speechless.

"Just so you two know, the decision is now all up to her." He simply stated, which meant that Tatsuya was at a disadvantage, as he clenched his fist knowing full well the meaning behind those words. It meant that she can freely choose who she wants by her side.

"This doesn't mean I'm giving up." He glared at his rival.

"AND CUT! THAT WAS PERFECT! LUNCH BREAK GUYS!" the Director yelled, as everyone began walking towards the cafeteria.

"Tsuruga-san!" The actress called out, as she was running towards the actor.

"What is it Mogami-san?" The actor smiled perfect timing, I needed to talk to her anyways.

"I was wondering if you wanted to have lunch! Yashiro-san wanted to me to make sure you weren't skipping your meals." Kyoko gave her mom look, of course, there is no way she'll invite me on her own. Ren sighed internally. But this is the perfect chance to ask her!

"Mogami-san I actually wanted to talk to you about something important." The actor began, as he brought her to a secluded part of the building to make sure that no one was able to hear their conversation."

"I wanted to ask if it was okay if we can meet tonight after the shooting? I have a quick photoshoot after this but I should be done within an hour." He began to asked.

"I do not think I have anything after the shooting so I'll wait at the agency then for you to finish. What was it that you wanted to talk about?" Kyoko dared to ask.

"...Let's just say, it's going to be another Maui omurice night." Ren answered, as Kyoko immediately stopped in her track, tugging on Ren's sleeves giving her senpai a worried look.

"I'll explain everything later tonight ok? So please don't look so worried Mogami-san." The actor tried to reassure. Suddenly a hand came in between them cutting in between Kyoko's hand that was on the actor's sleeves. How did Fuwa know we were here?!

"What are you two doing? You two are going to start unnecessary rumors!" Sho screamed, breaking the atmosphere. Kyoko inner demons reacted immediately and they came raging out ready for carnage, as they began attacking Sho.

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT FROM YOU OF ALL PEOPLE SHOTAROU! WHOSE THE ONE THAT CAME INTO THE DARK MOON SET AND CAUSED A SCENE DURING THAT DISGUSTING GOD FORSAKEN CHOCOLATE INFESTED DAY HUH?!" Kyoko screeched. In the midst of the chaos, Ren slipped into his Cain and pulled Kyoko away from the Sho, hoping it would stop the scene from gaining attention of the staffs or the other cast members.

"I don't think now is the time to be acting like this, don't you think little sis?" Cain whispered in english. The actress stopped, regaining her composure and looked back at Sho with her arms crossed around her chest.

"You are right, but I don't know what came over me." She replied

"It's happening again..Her weird character change...is she pretending to be someone else?" Sho frowned, until something then hit him, finally getting a small hint on what was going on.

"Who are you. Are you Mio?" Sho began, hoping he was in the track right, however the actress in front of him smirked, putting her hands on her hips reflecting the self-confidence she had.. No its not Mio, she is more lady like.

"So you finally noticed huh? Setsuka Heel is the name." Setsu smirked, as she gestured one of her hands to her chest to introduce herself.

" And this is my brother, Cain Heel." She introduced, as Cain took her side, coldly glaring at the singer in front of him. It's him! Sho recognized that cold stare, remembering the times the actor had given him the same glare as the guy in front of him.

"Brother?! I don't remember Kyoko ever acting as this guy's sibling in any drama!" Sho retorted, pointing at the actor.

"Well let's just say that we were created for a "different" purpose." Cain smirked, bringing his hands around his sister's waist, giving a slight peck on his sister's temple. Sho's eyes widen in disbelief, pointing at the intimate gesture, "W-w-w-w-w-wh-h-hat a-a-re y-y-ou t-tw-o d-doing?!"

"What? Nii-san and I were always like this." Setsu smirk, moving closer to her brother, as if to provoke the singer. The idol raged, bringing out his inner demon as he tried to pull the two apart.

"Kyoko would never want to do this kind of thing with this guy! I'm the only one she's ever gotten close with!" Sho retorted. Setsu grinned, before laughing hysterically at the statement that she just heard from the singer.

"Hahahaha, only you? Only you, you say. How narcissistic. Humans changed you know..take you for example. Though you were once that sweet prince to Kyoko, you who still somwhat took care of her and played with her in the past, you changed completely into the hated bastard you are today. So what makes you think that she won't change? Or better yet change her prince? Do you honestly think that increasing her hatred for you will honestly keep your place in her heart?" Sestu glared coldly.

Both Sho and Ren actually just stood there speechless at the actress' sudden confession. Sho felt a stab in his heart, as he began to panic.

"Heh..so what, I hope that you remember the promise we made. The moment Kyoko even shows that she has feeling for a certain someone, she will be taken away back to Kyoto with me to live the rest of her days at my parent's inn." Sho laughed nervously. Ren flinched, at hearing that the actress had made such promise with that guy and began to clench this fist. He made her promise such a thing?! This bastard is asking for a beating.

"And what makes you think that at this point that deal holds an leverage for that girl? What if she thought screw with the deal, for once in my life I'm going to start living for myself and think of my happiness and not for others?" Setsu countered. Sho stood there now slightly trembling in anger, lost at what to counter that statement with. Setsu smirked and just took Cain's arms and she led the two away, leaving the idol at his spot. I have to be quick and find something on this guy before it's too late! Damn you Kyoko! You'll regret this. Sho stomped his way back to his greenroom, and quickly took out his cellphone. Come on pick up!

"I'm guessing you weren't able to get little red and tame the beast?: The voice on the other line smirked.

"Shut up! I need your help again. You obviously know something about that guy then you are leading on. So I want you to tell me everything you know." The singer demanded.

"And what makes you think that I'll comply to these demands?" The silvered haired singer scoffed, before continuing, "Even if the impossible happens where I do comply, this is the one thing that I will decline. I might know some details of his secrets but not all, and I don't ever want to see that man ever again, nor do I want to see anymore of his past secrets." Reino shuttered. Sho immediately heard the slight fear in the Vie Ghoul's leader's voice and though he didn't want to admit it, he felt a slight chill running down his spine.

"I already told you to start with that Hollywood actor, or are you that stupid that you hit a dead end?" Reino teased.

"Shut up, believe it or not I managed to talk to him, but he had nothing to say regarding that bastard!" Sho retorted. The Vie Ghoul leader sighed, not understanding why the idol couldn't put two and two together.

"Listen this is as far as I will help. Anything involving Tsuruga Ren I want to be far away from. Ja." With that the phone hung up.

"Damn it!" Sho yelled as he threw his phone against the wall. He begin to panic because he knew he didn't have much time. If Kyoko was serious about her earlier statement then it's only a matter of time that he'll lose her. Not on my watch!. Sho quickly picked up his phone and began googling the Hollywood actor. If that copycat is insistent that I start with the Hollywood actor then that's what I'll do. I began researching anything he could find about him until he stumbled upon his family relationship on his a fan page. He's married to Juliena Hizuri and they had one son, Kuon Hizuri. He took a look at the actor's work profile and to say that he was impressed was an understatement. He then researched about the model wife and their son. However not much information was found about him other than a few minor roles that he did years ago. He tried to dig further until he came upon a blog written in English on what it seems to be, about the younger actor. It somehow peaked his curiosity as he was able to make out the words disappear and where is he in the blog. So he saved the link and messaged it to his manager asking her to find a translator and have him translate this blog as soon as possible.

A car arrived at the LME building, and stopped in front of the entrance as the actress made her way to the car with a bunch of groceries in her hands.

"Otsukaresama deshita." The actress smiled.

"Otsukare" Ren replied. As soon as Kyoko snapped in her seatbelt the actor made his way to his apartment complex. Kyoko couldn't help but worry what brought on this sudden Maui Omurice night, but decided that it was best to just make sure that her senpai was not alone.

After arriving at the actor's home, she quickly made her way to the kitchen to prepare to make the omurice.

"Mogami-san I can make dinner tonight. You don't have to."

"Please let me, Tsuruga-san.. If there is an issue that you are willing to talk about, it's best we do it on a good stomach." She smiled as she began to take out the cooking utensils. After she finished preparing the food, they first ate in awkward silence not knowing what the other should say to break this tension. It wasn't until they took their last bite of their dinner that Ren finally had the courage to speak.

"So the reason why I called you here tonight is because there is something I need to tell you." The actor began, putting his hands together in nervousness. Slowly he took out his contact lense case that he had in his pocket and placed them on the table. Kyoko tilted her head in confusion as she started at the object.

"I don't understand Tsuruga-san. Was wearing contact this big thing you wanted to tell me?"

Ren shook his head and opened the case as he began taking of his cosmetic contacts. Kyoko's eyes widen as she saw the familiar bright hazel fairy green eyes appearing before her. The actor placed the lid back on the case he stared at the stunned actress in front of him with his natural colored eyes.

"C-Corn-"
