The rain was really coming down, drops hitting and streaking down Cloud's cheek, as if it were a tear. What was only a few minutes felt like a week spent in his thoughts. His eyes snapped up, shooting daggers at the hand extended to him. It looked dainty and inviting, a hand he might have welcomed before he met... Her.

Aeris stood there, with the same type of wolfish grin Zack had been brandishing, trying to coax Cloud up and to come with her. She faked sympathy and pity for him, but none of it was working, which had aggrivated her. Why woulndn't he come with her?

'Come on you loser, take the bait!'

He swiftly stood up, smacking the hand out of his way.

"Get out of my way, Aeris." A deep snarl escaped his teeth.

She looked shocked at him. Never had anyone spoken in such a manner to her. She was used to guys falling over her and moping about once she broke it off with them, and expected them to do so. But never had anyone ever yelled at her.

Blushing she practically moaned at him, " Oh that's it, yell at me. Hard..."

'This has to be an act... How stupid does she think I am?'

Cloud frowned at her, and walked past her.

"Where are you going? Tifa want's a real man!"

This statement made him stop dead in his tracks. Looking over his shoulder at her, she began to laugh at him. A wicked cackle. Cloud spun around launching a fist dead at her face, only to stop it before the blow landed.

"Shut the fuck up, you slut!" Cloud yelled.

Aeris' eyes widened as she took a step back, in shock that he almost took her out.

Cloud placed a firm hand on her forehead and gave her a push, knocking her down. He walked off as he heard her begin to weep. He didn't regret it.

...

Bright flashes flooded the room, eyelids began to flutter open. Confusion set in. Where is this place? Where is...

"Oh my god... " Tifa gasped as she noticed she was without clothes.

Panicing, she gathered whatever she could to cover up her soft, milky white skin. Salty tears welled up in her vermillion colored eyes. Memories of what happened flooded her mind, as she shot her eyes around. This had to be Zack's room.

she wiped her eyes and rapidly scanned for her clothes. Spotting them she put them on. They didn't seem to be in bad shape, which caused her confusion. If she had been defiled, why were her clothes so unscathed?

After pulling on the last bit of clothing, her eyes darted toward the door, where she heard a male voice laughing and speaking. She creeped over to the door and cracked it open. What she saw was Zack sitting alone on his sofa, with a bottle of something and his phone pressed against his ear. She began to listen.

"No, Sephiroth doesn't know, nor does he need to. That moron, Cloud believed it!" Zack stated as he began chuckling.

"All I did was have Seph come over and put on one of the shirts I had made for our band! BAH HAH HAA!"

Tifa sneered at him through to door.

'Tell me what you did to me, so I can kick your ass!'

"What? Did I... Oh you mean Tifa? No... Nothing happened... yet!" He began laughing again.

Tifa thought for a while, and decided it would be better to get out of here without him knowing and find Cloud. She scrambled over to a small window in his room and tried to pry it open. Stuck. She examined it a bit further only to notice that it had been welded shut.

'He must have planned this...'

She crept back to the door and peered out. It had gotten quiet, and Zack was no where in sight. She began to panic. The ruby eyes darted as a small shuffling sound was heard. They couldn't find the source of the noise, creating more fear in her heart.

"What exactly do you think you are doing?" A pair of deep blue Mako eyes met hers through the door.

Tifa shrieked and stumbled backwards.

The door squeaked open, as Tifa's eyes began to fill with tears. Zack's gaze had frightened her to death.

"Where are you, Cloud?" She whispered as tears ran down her face.

...

Cloud's dorm room door busted open, and in walked Cloud. He grabbed a cigarrette and lit it as he walked into the other room. Opening the small closet in the bedroom he started to shuffle about.

"There you are." Cloud pulled out a large bladed weapon. It stood roughly six feet tall and 1 foot wide, and had a triangular tip.

"Buster sword.." A mutter left his lips.

Cloud grabbed the strap he had for it, tied it around his torso and slid the blade onto his back. He finished his cigarette and pulled out another, lit it and continued to search the closet. finally grabbing his skateboard he departed.

'I am going to KILL Zack.'

Cloud furrowed his brow as he slid onto his board, speeding off toward Zack's.

On the way he passed Aeris, still sitting in the rain weeping, still no regret filled his aching heart. He realized Zack had to have planned this, and he would get Sephiroth next.

He approached Zack's dorm. Launching off his skateboard and charging through the door, breaking it with ease, he drew his large blade.

...

Zack pulled out his phone, thumbs clicking away for a few seconds, and returned it to his pocket. He advanced on Tifa.

He turned in anger when he heard his door bust open.

"Zack you bastard!" Cloud rushed up to him, and flung up his weapon, pointing to him with it.

"Give me Tifa!" Cloud growled."

"Woah there buddy! Who even says she wants to go with you?" Zack laughed.

"Shut up!" Cloud pressed the tip against Zack's throat, just hard enough a bead of crimson emerged and rolled down his neck.

Tifa shot up and ran to his side. She knew he would come.

Zack's expression turned giddy. He smiled from ear to ear.

"What?!"

Cloud turned to see his rival, Sephiroth.

"Am I late to the party?" Sephiroth chimed in, nonchalantly.

He brandished a 6 foot long katana like sword, and swung it with ease.

"What exactly is going on here?" Sephiroth demanded, staring everyone down.

"I'm saving Tifa from you dirty fuckers!"

"Not you, moron. Him!" Sephiroth pointed to Zack.

"ME?! You are supposed to give ME backup you fool not take HIS side!" Zack barred his teeth like a rabid animal.

"I sure as hell am not going to "Kill" anyone for you, if that's why you had me bring Masamune." Sephiroth replied, lowering his weapon.

Clouds gaze shifted between them, waiting for them to jump at him.

'Bring it on.'

"This is stupid. I'm out of here."

Sephiroth turned to leave, but was stopped by Zack tackling him down. Cloud released Tifa and told her to run while Zack was distracted. She wouldn't budge. He motioned for her to get behind him so he could at least protect her from him.

"I'll fucking kill you!" Zack had managed to wrestle away the Masamune, and lunged it at Cloud.

He attacked relentlessly with the incredibly long blade, but to no avail. Cloud was able to parry each swing. Clashing the blades together, they locked.

"I'll kill both of you! She was mine!"

Cloud turned to push Tifa further out of the way, their eyes locked. His gaze turned from anger, to apology, to admiration. He gave her a look of, "I love you".

"CLOUD!" Tifa shrieked.

Cloud's eyes widened as he felt a warmth in his chest. Looking down he saw the tip of the Masamune peeking through. Blood stained his shirt, as it came rushing out like a river.

"What the fuck did you do?!" Sephiroth decked Zack right in the jaw, rendering him unconcious.

He didn't like Cloud, but he would have never thought death upon him. He resented ever have adding him to his bands roster, and making friends with him. The guy was psychotic.

Cloud fell to one knee gasping for air. It felt as though he were drowning in his own blood.

Sephiroth pulled out his phone and called the emergency services.

"I... I will be.. fine."

Cloud stood up, and reached behind him grasping the blade that had run him through. Groaning in pain, he pulled it from within himself. Feeling feeble, Cloud supported himself against the wall.

"I am... I am fine.." He said in a breathy voice, clearly losing strength.

...

" I love you... Tifa..."

...

"Cloud?"

"Cloud?!
