My name is Remvis, the great and powerful! I mean, Remvis, the somewhat great, and only a little powerful. So I started writing this as soon as I could, but I had been a senior in high school up until june, so I was mega busy with life. And now that I finally have time to write, I hit a major writer's block that had to do with not knowing how to move forwards. Anyways, enjoy the read.

Day 65

Over and Over, Their Day Shall Go.

Over and Over, They Make it So.

Together they Must, Their Lives Remold.

Together at Last, As Was Foretold.

On the Day of Love, Conjoin their Hearts Two.

Until they Are One, Their day Shall Ensue.

Percy's POV

I woke up the next morning at six and promptly decided to go back to sleep.

An hour later I awoke to a strange sight; Aphrodite was hovering over me, staring at me with a strange look on her face. "Do you... normally get blessings from people before they give them to you?" She asked.

My mind went blank for a second until I remembered the events from yesterday. "Oh, you mean the part where I have your blessing to change clothes all the time and always smell good? Yeah I, " I almost told her about the time stop, but I should really consult Artemis about it before we tell anybody who might not need to know. It was apparent that Aphrodite's blessing stayed throughout the night, for that same strange reason all the other changes stayed.

"Actually, I need to talk with Artemis about something, can this wait?" Aphrodite looked at me in confusion for a second before smiling at me and saying, "Sure, Percy, take all the time you need."

Creepy. If she wasn't going to ask about anything else, I might as well get going. "Thanks." I said as I got up and wandered to the dining hall.

When I arrived at the dining hall, Artemis was waiting for me at the entrance. "Come." She said. "We have much to discuss."

Indeed we did. I began to think about yesterday as I followed Artemis out of the hall.

*Flashback

Athena paced back across the room. "You are the first male to join the Hunt since Orion... So tell me, Perseus Jackson, what do you intend on doing with Artemis?"

Her stormy grey eyes pierced mine own, and for a second I couldn't think. Once I finally received thinking capacity back, I understood the implications. I had somehow bypassed most of Artemis' safeguards against getting close to men and had somehow wormed myself into the circle of people she could feel comfortable around. She was close to me; close enough to be considered a good friend.

I looked towards the Goddess of Wisdom and I gave her a friendly smile. I had already made up my mind on romance long ago.

"Don't worry about any ulterior motives that I might have. Long ago I figured out that I wasn't going to pursue romance unless I knew that the person would reciprocate my feelings. I don't plan on trying to make Artemis fall in love with me, and I certainly can't force myself to fall for her."

I could only think about what I was saying as it happened, as well as the implications. "But I promise you, Athena, that I will not seek a romantic relationship with Artemis unless she directly tells me that she is in love with me. If such a thing happens Athena, I swear on the River Styx that I will not betray Artemis in any way."

I stood up and looked her in the eyes. "I swear to be loyal." The Goddess looked back at me as a clash of thunder sounded in the distance, sealing my oath of conditional loyalty*. She gave me a wry smile, and began to laugh. Not the best thing to happen when you realize that the person in front of you could easily have you sent to Tartarus, but the laughter slowly died out and she held out her hand.

I took it, (a little apprehensively) and she gave me a half smirk and said, "Well, Perseus, I suppose that calms any worries I might have had about the situation. All I can do is ask that you tell her not about this conversation; Artemis doesn't exactly like it when her family manipulates her life, even to protect her."

I understood. She made her father promise not to force her to get married, and later on her brother had Orion killed. Even I wouldn't like it if someone else made decisions for me. "I promise not to tell her unless she asks, but I won't lie to her."

Athena smiled at me and nodded her head. "Understood, now I think it would be best if you didn't speak to Artemis for the rest of the day. If my guess is correct, there will have been a prophecy about the two of you, one which it is not yet your time to hear. If she chooses to divulge the information to you, that's up to her. But don't try to find out your half yet, as I said, you aren't ready for it."

I thanked her and slowly made my way out the door...

Flashback end*

Artemis' POV

As I walked towards the archery range, which had become the usual place for us to meet on the today's, I thought a little about the first half of the prophecy that I had been given.

Over and Over, Their Day Shall Go.

Over and Over, They Make it So.

Together they Must, Their Lives Remold,

The first line clearly referred to the fact that our day kept repeating. The second line insinuated that it was our actions that caused the day to repeat. The third line said that we needed to work together to remold our lives. This probably meant that we just needed to work on making our lives different? I wasn't quite sure at this point.

We arrived at the archery range, and I turned to Percy. "I received the first half of the prophecy yesterday, and I figured most of it out. It tells us that our day will repeat, and that our actions cause this to happen. The last part is that we need to work on changing our lives together before cutting off.

Rachel told me that it wasn't a good idea for you to get your half of the prophecy yet, even if it would be helpful for us to understand it better. So basically we need to do different things."

Percy nodded his head a few times before a wide smile grew on his face. "I guess I was right when I said we would just have to try doing everything. And the next best idea that I have is to totally prank all the other gods and goddesses with shenanigans!"

Why had I known that he would want to do something like this? Why had it not even phased me when he suggested something random? Probably because I had been thinking something similar, but hey, what're you going to do?

I let out a laugh and said, "alright then, but we only have today to do it, let's get the huntresses in on this, and we can write letters until noon, and then we can send those letters out."

We both grinned in anticipation before dashing off to discuss with the huntresses what we had planned.

*a few moments later*

I hadn't expected this. As my huntresses gathered around the table, Percy surprised me once more by pulling out a giant board and markers. On the board were the names of gods and goddesses.

"We're here today..." he began as he passed out markers, "to prank the gods. If any of you want to try something, then write it on the board next to the god or goddess you want to prank."

I could only watch with slight confusion as the huntresses cooperated with Percy. When had they started to like him as a person instead of treating him like any other boy? I couldn't remember. The huntresses were acting like they always did around camp on their free time, goofing off, throwing ideas left and right. "Fill Ares' pants with itch powder!" "Superglue Zeus to his throne!"

The comments continued, pandemonium broke out as each of the huntresses joined in on the activity at hand. Percy was laughing along with some of the suggestions, and tossing some of his own into the mix. When had he become so familiar with my girls? It was as if I was looking at a happy family, it just seemed so right...

I was broken from my reverie as Thalia tossed a marker to me. "What do you think we should do milady?"

I grinned, thinking about all of the things that could be done, before I got to work on the board.

Hephaestus' POV

As I entered my workshop after a short break I stopped. Something seemed off. The automatons looked like they were in the same place... I cautiously moved through the workshop. The forge was still lit... I made to grab the wrench that was on the table next to me only to find that I couldn't lift it.

"What the..." the wrench was glued to the table! As I made my way around the workshop, I tried to lift each object. They were all fastened down with glue? Who on earth would have had time to do such a thing?

I ripped one of the hammers up, and the table came with it. My plans of making more automatons and weapons for the day were ruined!

I fell to my knees and sobbed "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" To the empty workshop.

Day 66

Athena's POV

I had just come back from my bowling tournament when I froze. I couldn't believe it. How on earth did these pass my security system? How on Olympus did all these get into my house? There were spiders everywhere. EVERYWHERE. In my study, in my bedroom, in my hairbrush in my toilet.

I checked the monitors. Nothing. No sightings of anything, and the video went untampered. Just spiders appeared out of nowhere. I couldn't handle it. I teleported out, hoping to get to the bottom of this.

Day 67

Aphrodite's POV

There was something off about my investigation of operation Pertemis. Surely it was extremely strong, not quite on the level of love yet, but the bond between the two had grown almost double overnight. As I made my way to investigate and watch the pair, I observed them interacting with the huntresses, who also seemed to be treating Percy with respect.

Truly curious, I couldn't tear my eyes away as they made plans, of which I overheard a few of them, but not quite all. My musings were cut off a few minutes later when I realized that they had all left and I was alone in the dining hall. I gave out an exasperated sigh, where could they have gone?

It was no use in attempting to track them down, so I decided that I might as well make myself ready for my date with Ares by taking a shower. Minutes later, as I washed the conditioner out of my hair and looked in the mirror, I froze at the sight of myself.

Inky, teal green mixed with maroon hair. Disgusting, utterly and horridly dyed mix of obnoxious clashing colors. I couldn't go out looking like this. I looked into my shampoo bottle. I could see the dyes in there now. Who would do such a thing? I tried to wash it out, but the clashing colors only seemed to intensify with the new shampoo. It couldn't be... the dyes were in every bottle? I checked them all. I was in anguish to find that I had been horridly sabatoged. I tried to snap my fingers to change my hair with my godly powers, but it refused to change. I fell to my knees as the thought that I couldn't go out in public looking the way I did, and let out a huge "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooOooooooOoOOOOOOOOOO!"

Day 68

Ares' POV

I was feeling kinda pissed. More so than usual. Like, REALLY pissed. It was fricking Valentine's day, and Aphrodite had promised that we would go out and have a good time.

The "love goddess" was nowhere to been seen. Hadn't been around this morning, wasn't around now. I looked at my pimped out watch to find that it was 3:47 in the afternoon. Wtf Aph?

I swore to myself and made my way back to my motorcycle, which was parked a block away from where I had been standing. As I sat down, the sound of a giant fart could be heard from underneath me. Wtf? As I got back up, I examined my motorcycle to find out that the seat had been replaced with a woopie cushion disguised as a motorcycle seat. And not only that, but the cushion kept refilling with air, and couldn't be removed.

What the Hades was going on here? It was Valentine's day, not April fool's. I snarled to myself and got back on my motorcycle, making a face as another huge gastrointestinal noise let loose. I swore that I find find out which god or goddess pulled this off and I would destroy them.

Day 69

Dionysus' POV

I was hanging out with ol' Chiron playing some go fish when Will Solace came up to me. "Hey Big D, your kids need you in the strawberry fields, something along the lines of the crop is ruined."

What. "What?" I asked. "I'm gonna have to check this out, Chiron." The centaur hero trainer nodded in understanding, and I made my way out to the fields. When I got there, my kids were scrambling to pick the strawberries, and they were eating them with looks of disdain on their faces.

I walked up to Pollux, and he said "Dad, I'm glad you are here, all the strawberries taste like mangos. I have no idea what is going on here!"

Mongos? What in Tartarus was going on? I grabbed a Strawberry and popped it in my mouth, and sure enough, it tasted like a mango. "Outrageous!" I yelled. Clearly some sort of magic was at work here. I flashed to the Olympian counsel room to call for a meeting.

Day 70

Demeter's POV

As I heard the call for a meeting, I made my way over to my cabinet. There isn't any way I'm getting stuck in a boring old meeting without the best thing created by mankind: cereal. Imagine my horror when I open it up, and there's no cereal there at all. I was shocked for a minute, I had just stocked my cabinet this morning with a fresh supply from my secret stash of Wheat Thins.

I went to my basement and found out that I had been completely cereal robbed, not a single cereal box was to be found. I was being upset, only one being could have stolen from me. I flashed to the counsel hall to make my complaint.

Day 71

Narcissus's POV (because lmao)

I was busy staring at myself in the lake as always, admiring myself. Gods I was beautiful. Like, drop dead gorgeous. I swear that I could look at myself for centuries. That jawline, those sparkling eyes, that amazing hair. Truly the gods could not compare (AN: rhyme intended). Everything about myself was perfect, absolutely perfect. As I was busy staring at myself, there seemed to be some sort of background noise, apart from the usual fangirls that always surrounded beautiful me.

I wasn't going to listen in, but I overheard the words, "More beautiful than Narcissus." And I knew that I had to see this. I looked over to find some decently handsome demigod, but he was no match for me. I said aloud, "What's all this about someone or something having more beauty than me?" And the demigod let out a smile. Not one of those me smiles, mind you, the kind that makes you fall head over heels in love, but more of a laughing smile, the kind that makes you think that people are making fun of you.

He held out a mirror, an oddly shaped one at that, full length with slight curves, and said, "Here, Narcissus, why don't you give it a look, this is a magic mirror that makes then person in it look the was that they actually do in real life. Every other reflection just shows what you want yourself to look like." I took a look in it and gasped at what I saw.

The horror. My perfect jawline, ruined, my delectable figure, distorted so that I was much too fat… or was it that I was naturally fat and the water had been tricking me the entire time? My eyes still sparkled, but much less so than before. My hair was a disaster. Why would nobody tell me about this? No, better question, why would anybody ruin my ignorance? I fell to the ground, hands on my face as my tears went streaming downwards to the ground as I let out a long, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Day 72 (around 4:00 P.M.)

Zeus's POV

I was busy arguing with my wife over infidelity when I felt the meeting summons from Dionysus. What could that drunkard need so badly that he's ruining a perfectly good argument for? I stared at my wife and said, "Later." Before flashing to the throne room and settling in my seat.

"What could you need that's so important, Dionysus?" I asked my son. He looked around, kind of like those shady bad guys in movies before a transaction, and said

"Somebody is using magic on my strawberries to make them taste like mangos." What on earth? I sighed.

"Let me guess, you want to figure out who the hell did this instead of just turning them back to normal?" I was getting pretty tired of the day already. The other Olympians slowly flashed into their seats, and I noticed that Ares, Demeter, Hephaestus, and Athena were all pissed off. What the heck was going on? As I questioned each of then, I came to the conclusion that someone was trying to mess with the Olympians. When Aphrodite finally flashed in, her hair a mess and she was crying, I knew that it must have been a prank. And who could have done such a thing?

It must have been Poseidon! He was the only one that wasn't here… Never mind, he just flashed in, looking tired and ragged. "Atlantis, turned entirely into wine, merpeople completely drunk. No hope of fixing it. He gasped out before collapsing to the floor in exhaustion. Only two people I know could have pulled off such a thing.

"Apollo! Hermes! You are hereby banned from all video games for half a year!" I shouted out. Clearly only the biggest trouble makers in the pantheon could have pulled all this off, especially since neither of them had been pranked. They both tried to deny their involvement with any of the pranks, but I knew better than that.

"Meeting over, you can all go back to your lives!" I grabbed my opened can of sprite before taking a drink. Hm, it tasted weird. Suddenly, I had a massive boner. What. The. Fuck. I looked down, and an emptied out box of Viagra was right next to where my sprite had been.

"Who THE BLOODY HELL DID THIS?" I shouted in anger. The other gods looked at Hermes and Apollo, who tried to stand up, but they couldn't move. "We didn't do it! We've been super-duper magic glued here since you first convicted us, we can't even flash out!" I was very upset, and it seemed like most of the other gods were trying to contain their laughter. When I looked to my wife for help, I saw her on her I Pad, looking up some lady named Lorena Bobbitt, who apparently castrated her husband because she found him cheating on her with other women… oh shit.

Day 73 (5:00 P.M.)

Apollo's POV

I was in the middle of talking to a hot chick named Vicky or something like that in a bar when they came in. Instantly I knew who had gotten Hermes and I into such a mess. I excused myself and went over to the pair, intending on setting the two straight.

"Hello little sister." I said as I approached. "And you brought culprit number two with you as well." I grit my teeth slightly in annoyance. My sister's eyes narrowed as she said, "As we both know, I'm the older one here, both literally, and mentally, and if today's events are anything to go by, I hope for the future that you remember it or else dad's going to give you a MUCH bigger punishment than no video games for a couple months. Make that no girls for a century and we'll see how quickly you call me big sister."

I paled a little at the thought. No girls? I couldn't deal with that! "I suppose I can deal with calling you just sister, perhaps." She nodded. "It's been a pleasure doing business with you Apollo, now come on Percy, we got a 'date' to get to." The two of them smirked at each other while I spluttered. "Wait, what do you mean by 'date', Artemis? You two aren't going out are you? What the hell?" and there the two of them go, right out the door. What the hell was going on?

Percy's POV (9:00, beach)

Artemis and the Huntresses and I were all down at the beach, laughing over the day's events. Whenever we had figured out a prank, we did it, and then proceeded to do it over and over each following day while completing more pranks so that we could eventually prank everyone at once.

"and did you see Apollo's eyes when he thought that we were actually going to go out on a date?" I heard Artemis ask. The way she said it, as if it would never happen, made me feel a little down, but I knew that she, as a maiden goddess would probably never see me as a lover. But I can probably say that I was slowly growing feelings for her, as possibly romantic feelings.

"Yeah, he looked like the world was coming to an end!" I joked back. For now, I would see how things played out. After all, there's always tomorrow.

Annnnnd Cut! There you have it everyone, the infamous chapter nine of A Year In A Day! On that note, I need to confess something to you guys. Having a gradual friendship into romance story is great and all, but what kinds of things would you like to see happen? Mind you that if I keep it up at this pace, I'll have to include tons of friendship days before Artemis begins to fall in love with Percy, or else they'll end up together by the time half a year is up. I don't have a problem with that, but then I would have to change the name of the story to fit. So let me know your two opinions, what things would you like to see, and should I change it so they get together after only 180 days or so of being trapped? Thanks for reading. Word count without author's notes: 3715. See you in your reviews! ~Remvis.
