Rachel sat in Professor Xavier's study. She hung her head in shame and discontent. Scott was found earlier that morning in the same condition that Jean is in.

"Professor, what's happening to me?" Rachel asked.

"I'm afraid I don't know," said Charles.

A couple of hours later, Rachel finds herself in the kitchen making tea. She poured herself a cup then sat down at the table. She stared out the window in a daze.

"Hey," she heard a voice say from behind her.

She jumped in her seat. She spun around to discover the voice belonged to Logan.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you," he said.

"It's okay," said Rachel. "I made some tea. Would you like some?"

"No thanks. I don't drink tea."

"In that case, there's a beer in the fridge."

He took a beer from the fridge and sat across from Rachel.

"I heard about what happened to Scott," he said. "Are you okay?"

"I really don't think I am. Something's happening to me. Something bad. Logan, I'm scared," she said.

"It's okay," Logan said, trying to soothe her.

"No, Logan, it's not okay. Nothing is going to be okay until Scott and Jean are back to normal," Rachel argued.

"Rachel," Logan said, taking one of her hands in his, "it's okay. I'm going to help you through this."

That time when he said, "it's okay," she believed him a little bit.

For the next few days, Charles tried to teach Rachel how to control her powers. He told her again and again, "You must control your powers. Don't let your powers control you." Every time she heard him say this she would think, Easier said than done.

She figured that's what was happening to her; her powers were controlling her. The very thought frightened her. She was afraid of what was happening to her. She was afraid of what she was becoming.

One night Rachel went to bed at the same time she always does. She woke up a few hours later, not in her own bed, but in the bedroom of Professor Xavier. He shook her awake.

"Huh? What's going on?" Rachel asked groggily.

"Rachel, do you know where you are?" asked the professor.

"Professor?" Rachel asked, becoming more aware of her surroundings. "What's going on? How did I get here?"

"You were sleepwalking," said Professor X. He went on to explain that he woke up to find Rachel's face hovering over him.

Rachel thought for a moment. Kitty said she saw Rachel sleepwalking the night before Jean was found comatose.

"I think I know what I was doing in here," said Rachel.

"What's that?" said the professor.

"You're lucky you woke up when you did. If you had stayed asleep you would have ended up in a coma."

Rachel didn't go back to sleep that night. She now knew how she hurt people without being aware that she's doing it. It's because she was asleep when she did it. So she decided, for the safety of her friends, that she wouldn't sleep ever again. Unfortunately her fear clouded her sense of logic.

On her third day without any sleep she foraged through the kitchen cabinets. When she couldn't find what she was looking for, she slammed the cabinet shut. Kitty and Rogue who were sitting at the kitchen table, jumped at the sudden noise.

"Is something the matter?" asked Rogue.

"We're out of coffee," said Rachel. She ran her hands through her hair with a disgruntled sigh.

"You don't look so good," said Kitty. "Maybe you should go lie down."

"I can't. If I lie down I'll go to sleep," said Rachel.

"And that's a bad thing?" asked Rogue.

"It is if you're me," said Rachel.

She took a soda from the fridge. "This'll have to do," she said before leaving the room.

Later that night, Rachel sat on the floor of her bedroom reading a book. Her vision started to blur, even with her reading glasses on, and she couldn't concentrate on the words in the book. She hung her head back so it rested on the edge of the bed.

"I don't think I can go on like this," she said to herself.

She stood up from the floor and lied down in bed. She decided that a little nap won't hurt anybody. As she drifted off to sleep she didn't worry about anyone getting hurt. The fatigue at this point was too much to handle, and all she could think about was a good night's rest.

Rachel awoke to find herself in a honeymoon suite. She wrapped a sheet around her naked body and walked over towards the window. The hotel room overlooked Tokyo, Japan.

"Wow," Rachel gasped. "It's so beautiful."

"It is, isn't it?" a voice said from behind her.

Rachel spun around to find Logan standing before her. He wore nothing but a pair of boxers. He had a towel draped around his neck, suggesting that he had just got out of the shower.

"You've been here before, haven't you?" asked Rachel, turning back towards the window.

"That's right," said Logan.

"That's good. We don't have to hire an interpreter."

"You know, the view isn't the only beautiful thing here," said Logan.

"Oh, really? What else do you see that's as beautiful as this magnificent view?" asked Rachel.

"You," he said simply, as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Rachel giggled.

"I'm so glad I married you," she said.

She turned around in his arms and kissed him passionately on the lips.

Rachel woke with a start. What a weird dream, she thought.

She looked over at the clock on her bedside table. It read 2:00 PM.

"Oh, crap!" she cried out. Not only had she slept all night, but she slept in too.

Without even stopping to change out of her clothes from the day before, she bolted out of her room and ran down the halls. She burst through the door of Professor Xavier's study.

"I fell asleep last night! Is everyone okay?!" she asked frantically.

"Calm down," said the professor. "You don't need to worry. Everyone's all right."

"Are you sure?" asked Rachel.

"Rachel, I assure you, everyone's fine," said the professor.

"Oh, okay then," Rachel said, a bit embarrassed by her sudden outburst. "I accidentally slept in, so I'm running a bit late. If you could, please let Mr. McCoy know, and tell him I'll be meeting him in a few minutes."

"Of course," Charles smiled.

Rachel went back to he room to get dressed and grab her books. Then she headed down the halls again to meet with Hank. As she was walking down the halls she ran into Logan.

"Hey, where ya off to?" he asked.

"I'm off to meet Hank for my daily tutoring session," she said.

Logan nodded understandably.

"So, I had a dream about you last night," said Logan. Rachel became very alert by this.

"You don't say," she said anxiously.

"Does a honeymoon suite in Tokyo ring a bell?" he said with a smirk.

Rachel's eyes widened at this. Luckily, they arrived at Hank's office just as Logan said this.

"Well, this is my stop. Talk to you later, Logan," she said quickly as she stepped into Hank's office.

What was up with that dream? she thought. Is it possible that I have feelings for Logan?
