"speaking"

Sarah seemed just fine when Thor found her sitting in her assigned room typing something on her computer.

"What's that you're doing there?" He asked sitting down on the edge of her bed.
"Updating the blog on my website." She replied.

"We need to talk about what happened between you and Loki." He sighed some of the anger he'd been trying to suppress returning at just the thought of his brother.

"What's there to talk about?" Sarah asked.
"Why was he there?" Thor questioned.

"I got the impression that he's been following you around, and he decided to ruin my morning by showing up and trying to sway my affections." She explained, "he was very upset when I both insulted and rejected him."

"Really now?" Thor said unable to fight back a very satisfied smirk, he had always found Loik's reactions to not getting his way amusing.

"I thought he was about to have a tantrum." She chuckled.
"But he didn't hurt you or try to?" He asked his tone mirroring his concern for her well-being.

Sarah shook her head and sighed as she finally turned to look at him. "What's the damage?" She asked already dreading the on coming bills and arguments.

Thor winced.

He knew that she was referring to her apartment. "Tony kept your personal and sentimental possessions safe from any destruction, and has already paid your landlord for damages." He told her. "Everything will be just fine when you return."

Sarah nodded happy that she and Amanda wouldn't have to find a way to pay for anything, and that they hadn't been evicted.

"So long as someone cleans up the mess." She said.

Amanda was entertaining herself by watching everything that Dr. Banner was doing in the lab. She wasn't as interested in the work as she was in the man doing the work.

"So you're the Hulk huh?" She asked breaking a thirty minute silence.

Her staring had been making Bruce somewhat uncomfortable and agitated, but some of the tension had vanished once she'd ended the silence.

"I am..." He replied after a minute, he was still not comfortable talking about the other side of himself, or looking at it as a good thing.

"Thant's really cool when you think about it." She said musing to herself out loud, "kind of hot actually."

Bruce froze. She'd...well, she'd just referred to him the Hulk included as hot. And she'd done so as casually as if she were talking about the weather. "What makes you say that?" He asked swallowing hard since his mouth was suddenly so dry.

"Well, its simple really," She smiled with a little shrug, "sexy brooding scientist one minute; then a strong ferocious muscle man the next."

"And you think that's hot?" Bruce asked confused.
"What's not to find hot?" She asked confused by his question.

"Come on Doc..." Tony chuckled entering the room, "she is genuinely hitting on you, and it looks to me like she wants the whole package."

Amanda gave Bruce a flirty little wink as she confidently strolled out of the room. Bruce felt his face heat up as Tony's laughter at the situation increased.

"The poor man..." Sarah said when Amanda had found her and told her all about the conversation she'd had with Bruce.

"You know...I haven't seen Captain America since we've been here." Amanda said changing the subject.
"Thor says he doesn't live in the city, but he'll be here soon since Loki is lurking around." Sarah told her.
"How is tall blonde and handsome?" Amanda chuckled.

"He's very amused with how we handled Loki," Sarah sighed. "But he is pissed that his brother was even there in the first place."

"Can't really blame him..." Amanda shrugged completely understanding Thor's reaction.

Sarah was silent for a minute longer, "I need to speak with Agent Romanov." She suddenly said standing and leaving the room.

"I'm going to go and watch Dr. Muscles some more!" Amanda giggled a bit too happy about the thought of seeing Bruce again.

Do they really think they've won by whisking the woman away to their little air fortress? Loki thought mockingly. He'd infiltrated that flying hunk of metal once, and he could damn well do it again.

But this time I won't leave it in the air. He thought with an angry and determined glare.

"I hope you and your little friends are ready for me brother."
