A/N: I guess that I can't say this enough, I'm so, so sorry. And I can't promise that I'll update regularly, but I will promise that when I feel bad about not posting, I will post. And it seems that I feel bad about it around the end of every month, so when the end of the month comes around, I'll try my best to update.

I pulled the curtains apart and relished in the cold sunlight that winter brings with it. The vast land of Hogwarts was covered with a thick blanket of fresh, untouched snow. I looked down at my current attire, baby blue shorts, and a white tank top, and a pair of knee high socks. If I wanted to be the first to get outside, and worship this moment, I would need to make a giant change, in my outfit that is. I'm sure I can beat the crowd down, but I would have to be fast.

I pulled open the doors to my wardrobe, and got out the first pair of pants I saw, and the thickest long sleeve I had. I pulled them on over my clothes, and wrapped a scarf around my neck, and tugged on my shoes, and promptly ran down the several sets of stairs. Out of breath, and rosy cheeked, I stumbled and fell, face first, into the fresh snow. I heard a ringing laugh, a snort, a bark, and a scoff. That could only mean one thing, the Marauders.

"Way to go Nielsy." I stifled a giggle, and pulled myself onto my elbows. "Can one of you hunks help me up?" I said reaching a hand up. I was met with a surprisingly soft hand. That must be Sirius, because everyone knows that he uses lotion every night, I heard that he sleeps with it in gloves. I huffed, and brushed some of the snow off. Most was melted, and I was a little colder than I should have been.

I shivered, but ran ahead of them anyway. I ran well into the fields, and spun around in a circle, something I did every year. But oddly, something felt off. It could possibly be because I don't have my longest time friend, for once, by my side. I felt the heartbreak set in, once again. But soon that melted away, when I saw the amazing group of friends I have. Sirius, James, Peter, and someone I consider a bit more than a friend, but inevitably is just a friend, Remus.

I smiled at them, and felt the pain of a thousand heartbreaks fade away. "Ni'ellei, wanna make snow angels?" Peter asked quietly. I smiled gently at him. "Sure man. Let's do it." Little did I know, but I would regret this very. Very, very much. But in the moment, it was a lot of fun.

Just before dark, we stumbled back into the castle, starving from skipping out on lunch so we could have some extra time in the snow. Sirius told a stupid joke, and like always, we laughed. "Hey, tonight we're having a 'Guys' night, but since you're not a guy we can change the name to 'Marauder's Night, just for you. You can skip if you like, but it's not against the rules for boys and girls to spend the night, as long as no…eh, well you know…happens." James said cautiously.

"Well, I do trust the four of you, some more than others…" I looked pointedly at Sirius, "But that's beside the point, I do trust you all, and I assure you I'm cool with staying the night with you guys…it's the guys in your dorm that make me a little uneasy, so if I may, I will politely pass." I smiled at them, and sat in my usual seat.

The rest of them sat down soon. "Well, there's the thing. We're not going to be sleeping in our dorm." James said, a smirk adorning his face. "Oh? We're not are we? Well where are we going to sleep then?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. They all leaned in closer to me, and simultaneously whispered, "The room of requirement."

"That's just an old school teacher's tale. It's not real." I smiled disbelieving. "Now, that's a lie, and meet us all in the commons, twelve sharp." Remus said calmly, leaning back in his chair. The others followed suit. "Well, what's the plan, what should I bring? All those things." I waved a bit. "Well, pajamas, and your wand that's it really." Peter was still whispering. "Oh, no problem then. I'll probably just wear my P.J.'s then." I responded.

"Cool, cool. Well it's all planned out, so, without farther ado, can we please eat?"I t And eat we did.

"Remus, what's wrong?" I turned to my side to see a very twitchy Remus. "Oh my god! Remus I think you're having a seizure…" I cast a freezing charm on him, and he stopped, obviously, but that won't stop the reaction when the charm wears off…
