The dreaded rain had put a dent in her plans; she glared at the window which shielded her from the said rain. It was so quiet at her house now, seeing how she was the only one living there now.

"I hate rain." The girl muttered.

The girl let out a sigh as she then picked up her phone that sat next to her. She opened it and saw she had an email from a very old name.

"Hey Kasumi-chan here, (⌒∇⌒)ノ it's been a while since we've seen each other! I'm actually in Ikebukuro for a couple days, want to catch up? Hopefully! Cya soon Ai-chan!" The text read, under the name "Kasumi."

Aihi blinked at the messaged before she decided 'what the heck' and replied to the message. She hopped off the table she sat on as she went towards the front door to leave the shelter that protected her from the rain. Her plan would have to be put on hold, but who said parts of the plan couldn't be done today? Aihi chuckled to herself as she put on her magical water resistant shoes and short coat before picking up one of the umbrellas and leaving her home.

Sure Aihi didn't receive a message back from the supposed Kasumi, but she was just bored sitting at home; her precious plan was ruined. She knows the patterns of her two victims well, and rain makes both of them not do what they normally do.

Aihi had walked around Ikebukuro for a bit until she stopped in front of Russia Sushi, she'd probably stop there to hide out later for dinner. She spotted the familiar van which caused her to instantly walk over to it and spot the people inside. She stopped next to the passenger side before knocking on the window, she held the umbrella so that water wouldn't splash or rain into the van as the passenger window rolled down.

"Hey Aihi," Kyohei said.

The person in the passenger's seat was Kyohei, and the person in his driving seat was Saburo like normal.

"Aihi-chan?!" the call of the Otaku's from the back called.

"What are you doing out in this weather?" Saburo questioned.

"The rain ruined my plans okay? And it's boring back home, it's so quiet without Masa." Aihi muttered being reminded of her brother.

"I'm sure the youngling is fine Aihi. Actually Shizuo and Tom just passed by not too long ago." Kyohei said.

"What's your plan Aihi-chan? Does it involve Izaya?" Erika's voice called out.

"No way, it's gotta be Shizuo!" Walker said.

Aihi shook her head at the two's words, as her phone's ringtone played out. She reached into her pocket and pulled it out. It was a reply from Kasumi.

"Cool! ヽ( ´¬`)ノ Hey meet me a block away from Russia Sushi, ok?"

Aihi nodded to herself putting her phone away before Kyohei gave her a questionable look.

"Oh that's nothing; I'll see you guys later." Aihi muttered giving the guys a wave and walking off.

"Be careful with the weather Aihi!" Kyohei yelled as he rolled the window back up.

Aihi didn't respond as she walked up the side street and ended up at the corner where she spotted a female figure standing under an umbrella.

"Kasumi?" Aihi asked, as she stopped a little ways from her.

The girl turned around and Aihi noticed the pampered princess look the girl had. She had strawberry-blonde hair that was long and curly, with a stylish grey knee length jacket and black boots.

"Hey Aihi-chan right?" The girl asked.

Aihi nodded as girl then cheered as she walked over and linked her arm with Aihi's.

"Come on I've got just the place we can catch up at!" The girl said.

Aihi was dragged with the girl a long way until they turned into an alley were at the end of it had two men standing there. Aihi instantly went on alert; she stopped the girl from walking any farther.

"What is it? Those two are with me!" Kasumi said.

Aihi unlinked her arm as she stepped back a step, while Kasumi turned around and looked at the girl.

"Say… Kasumi, you remember what you told me before I moved right?" Aihi asked.

"That I would miss you, yeah? Of course, I remember." Kasumi replied.

"There was a bit of advice that you gave me. Remember what it was?" Aihi asked.

"To watch out for the color gangs?" Kasumi asked.

"Yeah… that was one thing. The other was to watch out for Yazuka, which I have been doing. But now that you're here, I wonder why your buddies haven't told you." Aihi said, narrowing her eyes at the two men who stepped closer.

Aihi heard steps behind her as well as Kasumi laughed.

"I guess he was right about you. It has been a long time though Aihi, I used to be a quiet girl who got picked on. But after you left I changed. It was him to put this together though; I'm surprised you actually followed me." Kasumi said.

"Oh Izaya's been pretty busy hasn't he? I wonder when he found out I knew you," Aihi asked as she glanced over her shoulder just in time to see a figure go to grab her.

"Don't rough her up boys." Kasumi said.

Aihi let go of her umbrella as she dodged the first man's grab, she then lifted up her right leg and kicked the guy who missed her so that he would run into the other two near Kasumi. The second man behind her grabbed a hold of her jacket at her shoulder, Aihi grabbed the man's hand as she slightly turned to him lifting up a hand which connected with the guys elbow and pushed up really hard. The man loosened his grip as Aihi then stomped on the man's foot causing him to let go entirely. Aihi quickly looked over her shoulder to notice the three men running at her.

"Didn't you know? I eat Vendy-machines for breakfast." Aihi said, then turned to run out of the alley but stopped at the site of more men at the end of it.

"Oh trust me, he told us a lot of things." Kasumi said.

Aihi looked around the alley but couldn't find anything, so she had to just accept defeat.

Izaya felt like something was off about the day, but he just couldn't place it. Could it have been the rain that spoiled his plans for the day or the knocked over chess piece on his board? It gave him a nervous feeling seeing his queen piece being knocked over; maybe he would have to leave the safety of his home to go check on her. So, he did.

Izaya did make it to Ikebukuro with quite a rush, almost forgetting his umbrella before he left his place. He did stop over at the Kida household but ended up empty handed. If it wasn't raining Izaya would have mailed Celty into looking for the elder Kida sibling. Now he was off to Russia Sushi, the only other place he knew Aihi inhabited other than her job. He was slightly upset when he came up empty handed, but he did notice the van parked in its usual place. The rain was at least letting up some, making the informant pull out his phone and look through some things.

He then received a new mail, which caused him to almost break his phone.

"I wonder how she'll end up." The text read and had an attachment video.

The video is what made him almost break the phone… Aihi was fighting some Yazuka thugs that he recognized, before she was overpowered. He even spotted the other female in the background, Kasumi Nase.

He had to get back to Shinjuku and figure out where they had taken her, he had to go through some really old contacts but he wasn't going to let Aihi be the subject of his fuck up.

Celty received a text message from Izaya that caused some worry in the Dullahan. Thankfully the rain had stopped and allowed Celty to be able to use her bike and go around and search. The text gave her small details of a place for her to pick up a package and that she should get there as soon as possible.

Celty now was outside of where the package was located, had a few cars parked outside. That's when she heard the yelling that made her pull in and notice one of the doors to the build was open. Celty looked in casually before she noticed a person being thrown and smacked next to the door she was just looking through. That's when she noticed an out of breath Aihi taking down several of the people that surrounded her.

"Oh yeah you piece of shit, you use that type of mouth to talk to your mother?" Aihi yelled.

One of the people surrounding her yelled and ran at her, and ended up being punched in the face.

Celty didn't want to question what Aihi got herself into this time, but Celty knew Aihi couldn't keep this up for long. So she intervened.

Aihi sighed as she held onto Celty while they rode on Celty's bike.

"Thanks Celty." Aihi said.

The other woman couldn't reply as she was driving but Aihi knew she meant well. They ended up at a red light soon after which allowed Celty to pull out her PDA and type on it.

"[I won't ask how you got into that mess, since I think I can figure that out. Are you sure you don't want to get checked up with Shinra?]"

"Nah, just take me to Izaya's so I can punch the bastard in the face." Aihi groaned in a reply.

"[Okay then.]"

Celty obliged the girls request and did drop her off in front of Izaya's place, Aihi hopped off the bike and handed back Celty her shadow made helmet.

"Thanks Celty, I owe you one." Aihi said.

"[Actually it was Izaya who told me where to go.]"

"Of course, he just wanted to scare me a little. Don't worry; I'm gonna go punch him now." Aihi said.

"[You able to get home safely after that?]"

"Yeah the house isn't too far from here, I should be fine." Aihi replied.

"[Well then I'll leave you to it, good luck Aihi.]"

"Cya!" Aihi waved as Celty took off on her bike back towards Ikebukuro.

Aihi then turned and went right up to Izaya's floor, and rang the bell. Surprisingly Namie answered the door with a dull look on her face.

"Can I help you with something?" Namie asked.

"Yeah is the bastard in? I kind of owe a punch in the face from the Yazuka." Aihi said.

"He's at his throne per the usual." Namie sighed as she let the girl in.

Aihi thanked the woman before she walked through and instantly went over to where Izaya's desk was. The said Informant was typing away at the keyboard, and every so often sending an eye over to his cellphone.

"At times I wish I was a ghost so I could haunt you twenty-four seven." Aihi said.

Izaya looked up from his keyboard with his usual smirk.

"You wouldn't do any justice as a ghost." Izaya replied, as he stopped working on whatever he was.

"Yeah true, true. Oh right, the Yazuka says hi by the way." Aihi said.

"About that…" Izaya started.

"Oh how you step it up, nice planning. Did you know I took out twenty four of them before Celty showed up? Was Celty even supposed to show up when she did? Because it looked like Celty didn't know about anything that happened." Aihi said.

"Listen…"

"Oh I'm not done. Why the fuck are the Yazuka after me Izaya? I'm sure you have an excellent reason for it. And for why my random old buddy from before I moved texted me out of nowhere. I don't even remember giving her my new number, let alone really wanting to catch up with her."

"Aihi…"

"No no no, no excuse for that. I really wonder what you told them about me. Did you tell them about Masaomi? Did you let them in on my daily business? I'm really curious now."

"…"

"Oh, no words from the famous information broker, I'm surprised."

Izaya stood up from his swivel chair during this conversation and ended up in front of the girl who continually giving him a glare.

"So what the hell did you tell them Izaya? I suppose more than what Kasumi told me." Aihi crossed her arms as she said this.

Izaya didn't reply causing the female to shake her head.

"What is your problem Izaya?" Aihi asked.

Izaya frowned at that question, he knew the answer to that question but yet he couldn't give it his trade mark explanation. He could see the bruise that was forming on the girl's cheek, making him frown even more. Izaya quickly turned away and walked back over to his desk.

"You've got nothing to say?" Aihi asked.

Izaya stopped just before he sat down, and turned back with a stern look; but he just was unable to say anything to her. He had been doing his best sabotaging a lot of the work he had been doing to help out some of the people in the Yazuka that he saw in the video of Aihi's 'kidnapping'.

"I'm so fed up with it. First my brother disappears and Shizuo's a little angstier than normal and now you're just ignoring me?" Aihi sighed, pinching the bridge between her eyes.

Izaya sat down in his chair before going back to work; he had to do something to resettle what happened.

"Stay here tonight Aihi." Izaya quickly said, not glancing up from his work.

"What?" Aihi asked.

She was confused but she didn't want to continue this cycle, so she plopped down on the sofa lying down. Maybe she would get answers from him later. She looked over at the table, which held a game board. It held several combinations of game pieces, but the one that stuck out the most was the fallen over queen. She ended up putting it right side up before she just fell asleep on the sofa.

Oh... Okay, I have no clue what really gave me the idea for this one. But hello there! It's been a long while hasn't it? Yeah I don't really have an excuse this time, but I found sort of some inspiration and wrote this up. I guess it was because I was watching Durarara x2! Shou. But heck, that totally couldn't have been it right? I think I might also actually write some more high-school style Aihi. So hopefully I don't get distracted again.
