Oh I'm trying this new thing where I'm going to try and answer fan reviews/ comments of my story. So feel free to leave a comment and I'll try and address it in upcoming chapters. -thebonafiedone
Chapter 9
*Clang, Clang* A headache started to brew in the back of my head and pulled me away from my dream. * Clang, Clang* At the second ring my eyes popped open to reveal I was in a tiny holding cell lying on top of a twin sized bed. My whole body was sore as I tried to move to see what was making that clanging sound. Where the hell am I, and how did I even end up here?
"I see the drugs must've finally worn off, are you hungry?" Siva asked me while wheeling a tray. He pushed it to my bed and opened the doors underneath the tray, and pulled out some food. He set two pieces of toast, eggs, and a piece of bacon on tray, with a glass of milk. "It's not much but you need to eat. I'm sure yesterday took a lot out of you so you need to regain your strength."
The food looked delicious but I couldn't bring myself to eat. "Where am I?"
Siva chuckled, "We're on a newly inhabited planet. thousands of miles away from planet Vegeta. I didn't want to leave you down here but I wasn't sure how you would act when you woke up." He handed me the cup of water for me to drink. I wanted to refuse but I was in such an abstemious state, thirst compelled me to take his offer.
"You know I'm really happy to have found you," Siva began explaining myself while sitting down beside me on the bed. I continued to gulp down the water to quench my thirst.
"Since the day of the escape all I could think about was about how you saved all of us. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you."
I put my cup down and avoided making eye contact with Siva, "I'm shocked right now. I appreciate you coming to find me but how did you find me?"
"It wasn't easy, it was more by chance actually. I crossed paths with a being named Frieza who wanted hated the Saiyans just as much as I did. He came up with the plan to invade Argo. He would be able to control the mines and we were able to come through on a rescue mission."
"So you firebombed those houses, and killed those Argians?"
"A tragic lose for them but if it meant seeing you again, then it was a necessary sacrifice."
"But all of those Argians, they were innocent and lost their lives all for what? Siva this isn't right."
"Did you actually prefer to stay behind with those monsters...?" Siva's voiced raised slightly in annoyance. After he composed himself he continued talking, "Look Chichi I did what I had to. I couldn't stand the thought of you being a slave for any moment longer." Siva placed one hand on top of mine and caressed my fingers. "You're the only person I ever think about." Siva took my hand in his and brought my hand up towards his mouth, "If only I could turn back time, I would've treated you better then maybe you would just willing come to my side." Our eyes met for a short moment but I pulled away from him. Siva was clearly disappointed at my sudden rejection as he stood up to leave,"You should finish eating, I'll come back in an hour and I'll let you out of here."
After an hour or so Siva returned and opened the door to the holding cell. He lead me outside the building, opened the next door allowing me to walk through first, "Welcome to the new Earth." The new Earth was very beautiful and resembled the old Earth almost exactly. A transport trolley pulled; Siva, myself, and several others boarded the trolley to leave. The trolley drove us to an extremely tall building. Probably the tallest building on the planet so far. "Alright gentlemen," Siva announced. "Let's get everyone situated around here. C'mon people let's get to work." Several workers surrounded the trolleys and allowed us to exit. They led us inside the building. We waited in single file line for someone to take our names.
"Next!" the person at the desk kept calling. "Next!"
I walked slowly up to the desk. "Name please."
"Ahh, Chichi." He scribbled down my name and some extra stuff next to it.
"Alright move along now." Another person came and grabbed my arm and lead back further into the building. "Hey watch it," I said trying to reclaim my arm back. In the next room I was examined by a doctor, to make sure there was no major harm done. Afterwards I was directed to a room where Siva was waiting. "Glad you made it back here." He got up from behind his desk and approached me. "So what do you think so far?" I took a good look at my surroundings again before answering him, making sure to look out the office balcony to get a good look of the entire town.
"This place, it's very beautiful. It looks exactly like the old Earth. How'd you find this place?"
"Well I found this place. In my first year as an astronaut, this was one of the first planets that I explored. It looks exactly like Earth, so naturally this was the first place I thought of as a new home." He pulled a cigar out of his drawer, walked out to the balcony and started smoking. "We're all trying to rebuild our lives here now. We have nothing else to go back too, this is our home now." Siva turned and looked at me; he made instant eye contact with me which brought me back to our little encounter in the cell. I gave him a slight smile and broke eye contact. *Knock Knock*
"Siva, Russet has asked for you to come to the conference room." "Okay, I'll be there in a minute."Siva placed his hand on my shoulder, "I'll be gone for a while; I'll have someone escort you out." I stayed quiet not knowing how to respond to him anymore. "You'll get used to being here, Chi. Trust me you're better off here." He walked out the office leaving me there for a minute until someone came in and escorted me out. The worker lead me outside to a group of people who were waiting outside. A carriage pulled up that was pulled by a horse like creature.
The carriage brought us to where the housing area was. The building where the newcomers stayed at was like a simple army barrack. Women stayed in one side of the building while men stayed on the other side. I sat on the bed that was assigned to me. It was the bottom bunk of the bed set that was in the middle of the room. I sat down on the cold bed and suddenly a wave of loneliness came and swept over me. This would be the first time I wouldn't be sharing a bed with someone, I didn't think such a small detail would ever bother me. These past couple weeks I've either been sleeping with Kakarot or Bulma, although its probably more for safety than comfort but I feel some sort of connection because of it. I've only known Bulma for such a short time but I already feel like we've grown so close, especially after everything that we've been through together. Then there's Kakarot; I'm almost scared to even think about the context of our relationship. Yes it's supposed to be slave and master but when I really think about it he doesn't treat me as such. It's difficult to describe he keeps a close watch on me but it feels more like a dog protecting its owner.
I laid back on the bed to rest for a minute but every time I closed my eyes, I could only recall the last moment I saw Kakarot. I've never seen him so defeated and by a human nontheless. I could recall the burning anger in his eyes as I was dragged on to the spacepod with Siva. All I could see was his eyes as they burned their image into the back of my eyelids. "Chichi" I heard my name being whispered, I quickly sat up to see if someone else was here but no one... maybe I'm imagining things. The left side of my neck began to tingle a little and was warm to touch. No... that wasn't my imagination. Kakarot was coming, its just a matter of time before he finds me.
Siva requested that I join him for dinner. I was escorted to his office by another worker, and gently knocked on the door. "Come in I'm almost finished." The worker opened the door to allow me entrance revealing Siva sitting at his desk analyzing a map. He was eager to see me as he came up to give me hug. I instinctively pushed him away a little trying to put some distance between us. He noticed and quickly apologized. "Sorry, um it looks like dinner won't be for another 15-20 minutes. We can wait here if you don't mind?"
I nodded in agreement and took a seat on the couch that was across from his desk. The atmosphere was awkward, I began fighting with the limning of my pants.
"I want to apologize about how I treated you from before," Siva handed me a glass of wine to sip on. "I was confused in what I wanted..."
"I don't understand did I make you confused?" I asked trying to keep my calm. This conversation was bringing up old memories that I had long forgotten. Before Siva had left for his space mission he broke up with me by introducing me to his new girlfriend. She was beautiful and talented, a real trophy wife. I was heart broken back then; I felt as if Siva had taken my very last breath but that was long ago, I've moved on since then.
"No I just thought I wanted more than a simple housewife as my partner but I was wrong. Me and that other girl never were a match for each other our relationship was completely shallow. I couldn't stop thinking about you since we broke up and when I finally saw you on planet Vegeta it was like God had answered my prayers."
I was taken back a little by his sudden revelation. I've made peace with what Siva's done to me but those feelings for him I used to have, I don't have them anymore. He held my hand and came in closer to me. "Siva enough; I've forgiven you but there's nothing between us anymore... we should go." Siva pulled underside of my wrist to his mouth and began to nibble on it, ignoring what I previously said earlier. With each nibble it sat a slight jolt up my arm, I closed my eyes trying to pull my wrist away. Siva's gripped tightened and as I grew more anxious I instinctively said the only word my mouth could form, "Kakaort..."
At that moment Siva stopped and looked up at me with disgust, he pushed me back on to the couch. He towered over me and held my hands up above either side of my head. "I can't believe you called his name, someone who's killed your family and taken you hostage. You'd rather be with him, that monster, instead of with me?" Siva dug his face into the crook of my shoulder and proceeded to nibble at my neck. "I won't let you get away from me, not this time."
As Siva continued to nibble down my neck I gathered up my energy and kneed him between the legs. He doubled over in pain as I rolled him off my body. He grabbed my long hair and wrapped it around his fist. "Fine, if I can't have you, then no one can." Siva pulled me by my hair back into the holding cell and threw me in there. "Maybe you'll change your mind after a couple days down here.
Hey, let me out of here!" I yelled shaking the bar door trying to loosen it to escape.
"It's no use," someone said from the cell across from me. He sat Indian style in the corner of his cell on the floor. Although he was sitting I could tell he was rather short, bald, and had six dots on his forehead. He seemed to be traveling with someone else who was rather portly and had long spiky hair that reached down to his back. "They're not going to let you out of here so you might as well just sit tight and wait."
I shock the bars some more until I ran out of energy and slid down to my knees.
"So what are you in here for?" the bald one asked me. I looked over at him deciding whether I care enough to tell him or not.
"Because I'm not in love with Siva."
"You know Siva?" the portly one asked.
"Ya, what about it?"
"He's the guy that got us in here to. The three of us used to be astronauts together, but now we know his dirty little secret so he doesn't want us to interfere with his plan."
"What secret?"
They both looked at each and nodded in agreement of whether they should tell me, "When we were on our third mission, we ran outta fuel in the middle of space. Our ship was picked up by a nearby spaceship but it turns out they had no intention of helping us. The Saiyans took us into captivity and kept asking us for information on our planet. Like if they're strong and what part of the galaxy it was located. They tortured us for several days, well me and Yajirobe never said a word but the Saiyans promised to let us go if we tell them where Earth was. Siva told them everything they wanted know. Then the Saiyans held us as slaves as they went off to destroy Earth."
I was baffled by this information. Siva sold us out, he cost so many human lives just for a chance to be on the winning side. "How did you guys escape then?"
Yajirobe stepped forward to answer my question, "While on Vegetasai, Siva made friends with some of the guards and used them to get an escape ship. When the time was right, the three of us and the rest of the stowaways took the ship and left. Krillin and I threatened to expose as the traitor he really is and we were thrown into jail. How do you know Siva?"
"We used to date while he was in training, but he... all that's all in the past now. Dead on the old Earth." My home, my life, my father- all taken away by a coward of a man. As the anger grew inside of me I slammed my fist against the wall, I wanted to kill Siva myself but I was powerless down here. I craddled myself into my knees and closed my eyes. I could still see Kakarot's eyes and then the tinging in my neck started up again. After a while I could hear lots of commotion outside.
"Is that a Saiyan, how did they even find this place?" I heard Krillian say. I jolted over to the tiny window to see what was going on and sure enough Kakarot was standing outside scaning the area to see which building I'm in. His eyes catch mine through the window and I see him raise his palm and start gathering energy.
I immediately knew what was happening and yelled out at Krillian and Yajirobe, "Get down!" The wall exploded, I looked up and saw Kakarot floating above me. He landed in front of me and held out his hand in front of me. When I placed my hand in his he lifted me up to my feet, and I followed him out of the shattered entry way.
"I'm not going to let you get away." He pulled a huge bazooka gun from behind him. Kakarot held his arm out pushing me back behind him. Siva shot the gun and Kakarot channeled his energy to surround us exploding the missile. "What that's impossible, this should completely disable you." Kakarot charged at him, Siva put up the bazooka as a shield but Kakarot easily broke it and pushed Siva back onto the ground. "Wait please don't kill me. I'll do anything you ask for please just don't kill me." Kakarot charged more energy into his hand and held it above Siva about strike.
"Stop!" I yelled. "Don't kill him." I walked over to Siva and bent down so that I was in front of his face.
"Thank you Chi, I knew you wouldn't let this monster kill me." I looked into his eyes and shook my head at him. I gave him the hardest smack across his face causing him to fall over again.
"Vermin like you aren't worth the kill," I retorted. I saw Yajirobe and Krillian standing before Siva giving me a thumbs up. I gave them a nod at their approval and turned my back on Siva to return to Kakarot's side.
"I'm ready now." He lifted up into his arms again and we flew off to the mountains. There Kakarot had a tiny space pod big enough really for only one person. I sat on his lap and he input some data into the front screen that signaled for lift off. He tightened his hold around my waist and whispered, "hold on Chi, it's going to be a rough ride." We lifted off into space and I could see through the pod window the view of New Earth becoming smaller and smaller.

Mew57: Thank you for staying a loyal fan I'm glad you like the re-vamped version as well as the old one. To answer a comment I made Kakarot cold-blooded cause I think if was actually raised on Planet Vegeta he would grow more to have typical hot headed, cold-heated Saiyan qualities like Vegeta instead of his usually goofy demeanor in the show. To answer your question yes Chichi is the only human he's ever been with/will be with, he's just more in tune with his emotions because of his past and he feels he can express himself to her because she's human. Did that help?
