Foxy's optics went wide with surprise as she noticed the little group of spectators that they had gained. "Hey, guys! What's up?" "Pretty good fightin', Little Bee." Skidz replied, and Foxy smiled. Thanks, Skidz. I got your brother pretty good." "I was going easy on you." "Yeah, uh-huh." Foxy replied with a roll of her optics. "I was!" "Okay, then do you wanna show me how you really fight over in the training area?" There was a pause, and he shook his head. "That's what I thought. It isn't the worst thing in the world to be beaten by a femme, you guys. The worst thing in the world is being beaten by a femme you don't know." Her joke was greeted with laughter, and she grinned. "Pretty good, Little Bee." "See, Jazz doesn't sulk because I've beaten him five times." "It was three!" Foxy laughed at his response, and continued talking, all the while attempting to raise a servo over Bumblebee's helmet. She pulled the 'bunny ears' trick on him, continuing to talk to the others so Bee wouldn't be suspicious. Jazz began laughing, and his face shield quickly came out to try to stop it. It didn't work, because Bumblebee had already heard his laughter. He looked from Foxy to the others, getting a gigantic grin from Foxy as she tried not to laugh. Instantly he ducked, and began swatting at his helmet with his servos, making Foxy laugh. He tackled her, still laughing, into the dirt, and she was only too happy to return the favor, the larger Autobots joining in after a few minutes.
After a short group scuffle, they got to their feet, Foxy still laughing to herself. "You had no clue, Bee." That sent her into more laughter, and he swatted a servo at her playfully, knowing that it was all in good fun. He got her in a playful headlock, and she tried to get out of it. It didn't help that she was now laughing harder and harder with each passing second, but Bumblebee didn't let her go. Soon, she was laughing so hard that she could only brush her fingers against his armor feebly. She certainly couldn't speak, and Bee dropped her at once, thinking that she was hurt. "Bee…" Her breath came in gasps, and she staggered to her feet. "I'm… I'm… I'm 'kay…" Jazz laughed to himself, and she was able to compose herself for a few shining moments. That helped her regain the seriousness that she needed, and she looked to Bumblebee. "I'm good, I'm good." He had come over, and was investigating to see if she was all right. She draped an arm across his shoulder armor, and he did the same to her. She didn't catch the look Skidz and Mudflap exchanged, but Bumblebee did. His cannon was soon out, and pointing at the twins. "Ey, chill! We didn't say nothin'!" "Bee… let them go… unless you'd like me to take care of them?" She headed over to the twins, and looked at them. "I've already taken down one of them, the other one should be no problem." "You're worried about us gettin' hung up on gettin' beat by a femme?!" "I'm gonna take this for as long as I can, Mudflap." She replied, and draped her arms over both their shoulders. "Besides, it's funny to watch." "Ey, c'mon, knock it off! That human stuff ain't cool!" "What, you mean hugs?" She replied with a grin, then proceeded to effectively scramble onto Skidz's back and ride him piggyback. "Whoo-hoo!" She exclaimed, laughing as he spun, trying to dislodge her. "Ride 'em Skidz!" She shouted happily, and was dumped off rather rudely. "Aww, c'mon… it was funny!" "No way, Little Bee!" He replied, and soon got into an argument with Mudflap about it. "You boys, I swear." She replied, rolling her optics. "Honestly, you'd think you guys never saw a femme that likes to do guy stuff before." "We ain't, Little Bee." Jazz replied, and Foxy sighed. "Then it's time you learned about it." With that, she launched herself at Bumblebee, laughing as he dodged quickly. "You're getting better, Bee. But, let's see you dodge this!" She leaped at him again, aiming for his legs. She was sent sliding underneath them as he jumped, and rammed into Jazz, knocking him down on top of her. "Gotcha, Jazz!" She exclaimed, laughing wildly. It was as though she was on an energy high, and couldn't be controlled.
She pulled him up, then was back to bouncing from one to the other. Wheelie screamed and ducked as she went flying by him, sure that she would crush him. "Watch where the hell you're goin'!" He shouted angrily, but she seemed not to hear him. "Ey, it's like she's been pumped full of high-grade or somethin', Bee!" Jazz shouted over Foxy's excited shouts. He ducked as she went whizzing by his head, and didn't see Bee nod in agreement. Finally, they were able to corral her in between the four of them, each holding onto one of her limbs. "Little Bee, chill!" "We've found our secret weapon, Jazz." "What're ya talkin' 'bout, Bee?" Bee nodded at Foxy, who was grinning delightedly. She looked like she was having the time of her life. "She ain't the secret weapon." Jazz replied, a shake of his head given. "Secret weapon? What's the secret weapon?" That seemed to have gotten her attention, and Bumblebee looked over to Jazz with a nod. Jazz understood what Bee was doing, and continued talking. "It's a secret, Little Bee." "Well, yeah, I sorta figured that. But is it something we're guarding? Where is it? What does it do? How does it work?" Skidz and Mudflap slowly lowered her feet to the ground, seeing that she wasn't going wild anymore. "Not even the Decepticons know about it, Little Bee. We don't even know about it." "Then how comes Bee called me the secret weapon? And you said that I wasn't. You guys know something…" The two let go of her, and she stood up, looking from one to the other. "Where is it? Are we allowed to see it?" Bee motioned for her to come closer, and she did, sure that she was going to be told the secret of the location. "There is no secret weapon." He whispered, and her optics grew wide. As she watched, he gave her a large grin, happy that his plan worked. "That's not funny…" She pouted. "Why would you pull something like that?" Jazz and Bee just laughed, then the group began heading into the hangar. Foxy followed after them, still pouting at how easily they had outwitted her.
She sighed, then her form gradually shrank to the Porsche hologram, then back down to her human form. A large yawn parted her jaws, and she lowered herself to the floor in between Bee and Jazz, smiling as Wheelie came over to 'protect her'. She always called it that, even though she knew he loved to snuggle with her. She tossed the blanket over both of them, looking up at Bee impishly, a corner of the blanket draping down half of her face, one of her fox ears poking out on the side that wasn't covered. His face lowered to her level, and he gently lifted the blanket up. She wrapped an arm around the back of his helmet, letting her head rest gently against it so she could look into his optics. "Night, Bee." She gave him a soft smile, then sighed happily as his finger began petting her hair. "Night, Jazz." She turned to her other companion, giving him a wry smile. "Night, Little Bee." She peeked underneath the blanket, and grinned. "He's made himself comfortable." She replied, seeing Wheelie snuggled up in the crook between her knees and her stomach, the little 'bot already in recharge and snoring, as was his usual. She got a little more comfortable, then pillowed her head on her bag and slipped her hands underneath the blanket, shivering slightly as she tried to get warm. Her hands found Wheelie, and she pulled him closer, finding that he generated a slight amount of heat even as he recharged. That amount would be just enough to warm her hands for the moment, and she smiled softly, the entire hangar pitch black due to the human staff all shutting the lights off. She snuggled underneath the blanket a little more, sighed quietly, then began to doze. As she did, she heard quiet voices coming from both sides of her. She was able to recognize Bumblebee's, and after a bit more words were exchanged, she discovered that it was Jazz.
"Bee, she's really diggin' on you." "Her and I are simply friends, Jazz." "Doesn't look like she thinks that way, homie." "We may be best friends, but that doesn't mean that we're anything else." "Not now, anyways." Jazz replied, and she heard Bee sigh. It was true, she did feel rather fondly about Bumblebee, but she had Fillmore, and she intended to keep it that way. She was in no way that kind of person, and she didn't want to become that, because she herself wouldn't want to be played that way. Her and Bumblebee were… like siblings, about as close as her and Lightning. She discovered that there was no sharp pang of homesickness any longer whenever she thought about them, and wasn't sure if she liked it or not. Her mind drifted into a deeper sleep, and everything she had heard was forgotten about for the moment.
The next morning she stretched out underneath the blanket and heard a grumble. She looked down and found Wheelie, barely out of recharge, watching her with a rather displeased expression. "Sorry, Wheelie." She was given another grumble, then he fell back into recharge, curling up against her chest again. She rolled her eyes, then seeing that it was still rather early, she decided to catch more sleep. She wrapped her arms around Wheelie, and began to drift into sleep again.
She was jolted awake by the floor shaking near her, and her eyes popped open, only to find a yellow, three-'toed' foot in front of her face. "Wha's with all the runnin', Bee?" She mumbled groggily, swinging herself up in a curtain of hair. He scooped her up, brought her closer to his optics then gave her a nuzzle, and she giggled at the greeting. "Geez, I haven't gotten a 'Good morning' like that in a while, it must be something special." He nodded, then set her down, looking as though he was waiting impatiently. "Oh. Sorry." She swapped into her Porsche hologram, then into her Autobot form. "What're we doing today, Bee?" For an answer, he grabbed her servo, and began pulling her along again, although this time he was running. "It must be really special." She commented, having to run to keep up with him. He looked back at her and nodded, then concentrated on running towards the training area. "Bee, am I late for training or something?" He shook his head, and she sighed. "I guess I'm going to figure it out as we go along, then?" Another nod, and she sighed again. "Figures, I get stuck with the one Autobot who likes to keep the good secrets to himself." There was a quiet laugh from Bumblebee, and she smirked.
He led her straight into the training area, and she spotted Ironhide and Optimus watching her and Bee. "Morning. Am I late for something?" Bee shook his head, and Foxy sighed. "Bee, stop keeping secrets… I hate secrets because I never find out what they are." Bee just laughed and shook a finger at her. "We were able to configure a working portal to transport you home, Foxy." Optimus' words shocked her, and her optics went wide. "It'll set you on the outskirts of your home, to avoid questions." "...But…" She was speechless, her mind reeling wildly. "But… but… but…" It seemed as though she couldn't get any farther then that, and the three turned worried optics to her. "Is this not what you wanted?" "I appreciate it, Optimus, really, but it's just…" She looked to Bumblebee, and Optimus nodded. "You are not going alone, Foxy." Now she really was confused, and gave him a look, as though he was speaking a completely different language. "This portal is compact, and mobile, which means that we can move it to many different locations around the base. We are putting it underneath the hangar, in a specially-guarded room." She shook her head, her optics wide. "I never would've believed it… not even for an instant.." A bewildered smile was appearing on her face, and Bumblebee draped an arm across her shoulder armor. She returned the gesture, and turned to him. "You're going to love it. All of you are. Ironhide, there's an ex-military Jeep there, he's just like you, and he's got an entire Hut full of weapons, they're the coolest things… Bee, you'll get along great with Lightning, and maybe Mater too. Depends how much you like goofy trucks." He shrugged, and she laughed. "Optimus, there's Doc, and Sheriff, I know they'll like you." "I have discussed with the blue one already. He's a good car, Foxy." "Jazz would probably get along with the DRH and Ramone, they're just like him." She went off, babbling excitedly, at least until Bumblebee put a servo over her mouth to prevent her from missing what they needed to say. She attempted to mumble something out, but he held up a finger. "Foxy, there is only one problem with this plan." She turned to Optimus, and he continued. "If we do this, there is a higher chance that Megatron will be able to infiltrate your home." "I'll never stop fighting him until he's pried from my unmoving servos." She replied around Bee's servo, her optics narrowing, and Optimus nodded. "Very well." "When are we leaving?" "We need to get the portal up and running. It will take time." "All right. Thank you, so much, all of you." She replied, and launched into training with Bumblebee again.
Midway into their sparring session, Ironhide decided to jump in as well, to see how well she could take on two opponents. Her style was quickly modified, and she continued sparring with the two of them, ducking and dodging, then tackling when necessary. She had just managed to pin Ironhide on top of Bumblebee when Optimus called her name. She looked up, forgetting that he had been watching "You've gotten much better." She smiled, then let Ironhide and Bee up. "Thanks, Optimus. I'm going to need it if I have any hope of taking on Megatron." She yelped as Bumblebee tackled her from behind, sending her sliding across the floor. He was chirping happily, and perfectly positioned on her back so she couldn't get up. "Hi, Bee…" Still he didn't get off, and Foxy could only wonder why. She got her answer when she discovered fingers poking the ears on her helmet. "Hey, c'mon!" She began laughing, finding the situation too funny to resist. "Bee! Let me up, dude!" Still he didn't, just continued fiddling with her ears. She sighed. "Looks like we're gonna have to do this the hard way, eh?" Without waiting for a response, she felt around for one of his feet, and tugged on it, hard. Nothing happened, and she sighed again. "Bee… I do have to get up, you know." It seemed as though he was too fascinated by her ears, and she managed to get her servos underneath herself. She pushed up, and he was sent rolling off, giving her enough time to get up. "I really should've seen that coming." Sure enough, he tried it again, and Foxy launched herself into the air, landing on his shoulder armor. She ducked as she almost smacked face-first into a light, and she activated her face shield. "There." She tried helping Bumblebee balance, but with no luck. He just kept tottering around, until finally Foxy and he went down to the ground. She jumped off in mid-air so she didn't end up hurting him, and went into a roll along the floor, the wall stopping her. "Well now I'm stuck." She muttered, finding everything upside-down, including the Bumblebee that was running towards her. He grabbed one of her ankles, and lifted her up by it, making her laugh. "Bee, c'mon, put me down!" He lowered her slightly, and she squealed as she saw the floor creeping closer. "Not on my helmet!" He paused, and she dropped her servos to the ground, trying to scurry along it using them. It worked, to an extent. Bumblebee had a good grip on her other ankle as well, and he allowed her to 'wheelbarrow' herself to the wall, then let her feet drop when she had. "Pick on the short one, huh?" She replied with sarcasm, then leapt at him with a grin, unnoticable because of her face shield. He moved aside, and she landed in a crouched position, then whirled around and lunged at his back, where his doors were. "I've got you now, Bee!" She exclaimed in delight. "Hey, your doors look like wings…" She replied, and squealed as he tried to claw at her with his servos. She leapt off his back, and went rolling away, only to have Bumblebee sit down, right on her back. "Bee! Your butt is crushing me!" She exclaimed shrilly, and began flailing her arms wildly. Still he didn't move, and Foxy began laughing, finding the situation too funny to resist once more. "Don't just lie there, Foxy! Get up!" Ironhide exclaimed, and she reached up a foot, and tried kicking Bee off. It didn't work, and she tried again, this time reaching farther. It still didn't work, and she noticed that he was sitting on her shoulders, right where her feet couldn't reach him. She tried thrashing wildly, but it didn't work at all. "I'm really stuck…" She mumbled, and heard Bee's laughter. "Comfortable, Bee?" There was a servo on the top of her helmet, and she sighed. "Yeah, yeah, you win, you win." He got off her back, and she got up, giving him a look. "Pick on the younger one, eh?" He nodded, grinning, proud of himself. She rolled her optics, and he put her in a tight headlock. "You wanna play it that way? Okay." She took off in a front flip, expecting him to let go. When he didn't, her optics widened in surprise, and the two were sent into an awkward front flip, both landing on their backs.
Bee had let go of her eventually, and she was able to pin down his wrists and hips. "I've caught the sneaky insect by the name of Bumblebee!" She proclaimed, then let him up. Ironhide let the two know that they were done, and Foxy nodded. Bee placed an arm over her shoulders again, and she did the same to him. She had to reach up a little higher in order to even reach his shoulder armor, but she was used to it. The two headed back to the hangar, and Foxy again thought about Bee. She kept assuring herself that she liked Bee as a best friend, maybe a brother, but as a… 'mate'? She wasn't too sure. She knew that she did find him sweet, funny, and kind, and that she always enjoyed his company, but she wasn't entirely sure what else she felt for him yet. Possibly… no… well… he was slightly endearing, and she found that she very much liked to hear him chirp happily, and to listen to his voice. Would she trust him with her life, definitely, although she'd trust one of the others, as well. He seemed to be unafraid to let her know if he wasn't pleased, and that was something she liked as well. She found that the two of them had a lot in common, and she found that intriguing. He was a good fighter, that much was clear. She knew that he saw her as a best friend, and that was what she was going to try to see him as from now on. Nothing more, other then a brother. A good, fun-loving brother that had been there for her nearly non-stop during the last few months.
She noticed that Bumblebee was giving her a slightly confused look, and she gave him a smile. "Hi, Bee." For a response, he swapped back into a Camaro. "Feel like going for a drive?" "Ohh, gee... Bee, I dunno…" "I'll drive." She laughed, then gave in. "All right." She shrank down to her Porsche hologram, then from there turned the hologram system off. She opened the passenger-side door, slid in, and he took off. Soon, the two were whipping along the only road the island had, Foxy's joyful shouts getting lost in the wind.
Abruptly, Bee slowed to a stop. "Bee? What's wrong?" "It's your turn." "M-My turn?" "If you're ready to fight Megatron, then you're ready to drive." She shut her eyes, and didn't move for a while. After a few minutes, she nodded, unbuckled the seat belt, then maneuvered into the driver's seat. Bee's engine was already on, she could feel it throbbing through her feet. "Okay…" It was nearly a sigh, and she put her hands on the wheel. Her feet located the pedals, and with another nod to assure herself that she was going to be fine, she set off. It was incredibly slow going at first, and Foxy was nearly ready to give up on the entire thing. In fact, she would've if it hadn't been for Bee.
His words rang through her mind, and that was what was 'driving' her at the moment. She wanted to be able to do this, and finally be able to drive. And so the two continued driving, Foxy's speed getting better as she learned the turns and straightaways, what few there were. Finally, she was up to a normal driving speed, and dared herself to go slightly faster. She continued this, until taking notice that it was getting late. Bee slowed to a stop from her highest speed as of yet, which had only been forty miles an hour, and she climbed out, shaking slightly from euphoria. As soon as he was in his Autobot form, Bee began chirping happily, and he picked her up, nearly crushing her in a hug. All she was able to get out was a shaky sort of laugh, paired with a sort of dazed smile.
It didn't appear that she was completely aware of what had just happened, other then her being completely stunned. "I didn't hit anything." She replied, and the dazed grin grew wider. Bee laughed, as did she. She began babbling excitedly for the next few minutes, and not even Bumblebee was able to decipher the jumbled mashup of words. She settled down to sleep later, her thoughts still whirling in her mind.
She was too happy to sleep, even though it overcame her soon enough. Bee, who had been sitting at her side, looked up as Jazz came over. "She rechargin'?" Bee nodded, and Jazz sat down at her other side. The two began discussing in quiet tones the information that Optimus was locating the portal to get her home underneath the floor. They eventually decided that it was late, and Jazz headed back to his designated recharging place. Bumblebee laid an arm over Foxy gently, trying not to wake her, considering the way she seemed to be most comfortable with him, always close by his side. He found it slightly amusing that whenever she was needed, everyone (both human and Autobot) came to him first. He wondered if she was, as Jazz had put it, 'digging' on him, or if she just simply considered him the best source of entertainment. He decided to find out, and planned tomorrow to go visit Sam. That figured out, he proceeded to go into recharge, his arm still laid over Foxy gently.
