Chapter 9: "That Morning"

"USUI!?" Sasuke was surprised, as his eyes opened widely.

"Hello, Mr. Prime Minister. It's been an honor to meet you here, defenseless. How's Japan doing?" Switch asked.

Sasuke did not just accept Switch's appearance in front of the door. He was still under the atmosphere, that he was going to meet his fiancée instead of his old high-school friend. SoSasuke yelled, "Why? Why are you wearing a pajama—No! Why is it you? I've made myself ready to meet—"

"Aaaah, Switch! You're finally here! Come in, come in!" Bossun appeared at the corridor from the living room, shouting at them to come in.

"Yo, Bossun. Let's go in, shall we, Mr. Prime Minister?"

"Do—don't call me Prime Minister! I don't want to jinx it, Usui!" Sasuke pointed at Switch, who was taking off his sandals.

"LOL. By the way, I'm sorry for not being Mrs. Tsubaki, LOL."

"Annoying!"

The topaz-eyed man walked into the corridor together with the man in green pajamas. They were having a conversation on their way to the living room. Both of them were really seldom meeting each other ever since they had graduated from Kaimei High, but the chat was rather long. They were still talking when they entered the living room.

"—So Hime-san asked you to stay over too?"

"Yes. It's Sunday tomorrow, so why not? Well, I'd still come even if it wasn'ta Sunday though. Chief Executive has too much free time," spoke Switch.

"Geez. Never say such a thing in front of your employees, Usui," suggested Sasuke.

"But that's the truth, you know. I own a hospital and I have more leisure time compared to the other doctors!" Bossun joined the conversation.

"You… you inherited my father's hospital in MY place! You should take a good care of it, fool!"

"Well, I do! But the truth is I can even manage such a huge foundation, the well-known 'Fujisaki Foundation', at the same time!" He bragged.

"Man, you guys sure are lazy since high-school. If only you were 10 years younger, I'd punish you in front of my class!" Himeko also joined the fray, bragging about her being a teacher before she got married.

"I was not lazy! I still studied even in that tense atmosphere!" Sasuke denied Himeko's statement.

"Let's have a seat first. Switch must be tired coming all-the way here!"

"Nope. I'm travelling with my beta version of "Dokodemo Door", so…"

"Do—dokodemo door? You mean that thing in Doraemon's pocket which could sent us go wherever we want? You've made it?" Bossun's eyes widened as wide as it could, soon after Switch had told him about the method he used to get to his house. "I want to try it!" spoke Bossun, with sparkling eyes.

"I'm sorry Bossun. It is not completed yet. You see, I originally came here with Momoka, but she texted me just now that she was at the Tokyo Tower's restroom, instead of this house. She should be here in 5 minutes though."

"Wait. So Momoka is coming too?" asked Bossun.

"That's what I've just said," he confirmed.

"Yaay! I only see her on TV these days!" Himeko raised her hands in joy. "By the way Switch, how is she? When will you propose to her? Ushishishishi! Even Tsubaki is going to get married!"

"Why do you use 'even', Hime-san?" Sasuke wondered.

"Well, you look like that type who says 'Working is more important than my wife!' Hahaha!" Himeko awfully mimicked Sasuke, getting laughed at by her husband. They then cooled down, since Sasuke didn't make any comebacks, and decided to be quiet instead.

The housewife asked Switch again about Momoka. He answered right away, "I won't marry her. Not on her young days, at least. It would be a trouble if a star like her gets a boyfriend, or even gets married."

"Switch…" Himeko frowned, feeling sad for the man with glasses.

"That's why, up until now we only contacted each other via email or call, which the system I made myself, so that nobody will track our conversation," he grinned.

"You sure have it hard way, Switch…"

"She worked really hard to make me speak with my own mouth again. I owe her and eventually fell for her," he spoke, turning his head to the couple. "By the way, didn't you three also have your romance lives in a hard way?"

Bossun looked at his wife with relaxed expression, and then to his twin brother. He then had his eyes back to Switch, "Yeah. That might be true. Hahaha! Without that case, we would not understand each other's feelings like how we are now!"

"The same goes with me. I might not understand what 'romance' is, if it wasn't for that case!" Sasuke commented. "It sure was an annoying time for us, because we had to study hard for exams and find the culprits at the same time!"

"That's what the culprits want," Switch remarked.

"Yeah. My quizzes' grades were very bad! It gradually increased after we caught the culprits though!" Bossun smiled widely, wide enough to let a string of his nose hair shown, much to Himeko's tsukkomi.

The husband poured the tea in the pitcher to the cup, that was on the table in front of them, and then served it to the newly-come guest. He nodded and took the cup, sipping the tea before he said, "I bet you guys were in the middle of chatting about 'The President's Harem' case, weren't you?"

"Yeah. You see, Sasuke came all the way here to consult about his wariness of re-meeting his bride, and you know it well that a flashback about that case is inevitable, if we want to talk about his love life."

"Indeed. If our culprits didn't do that, I believe Tsubaki would be dating Katou-kun instead LOL," Switch smirked, staring at the topaz-eyed man.

"DE—DESPICABLE! I AM STRAIGHT! And that 'LOL' is annoying! Stop saying that acronym!" He opened his eyes wide, blushing. Sasuke sighed, his eyes on the Fujisaki couple, "The culprits didn't only affect my romance life, but also yours, Fujisaki. Don't talk like I am the only one who has a trouble with this matter!"

Upon hearing his statement, Bossun and Himeko turned their heads toward each other with red blushes on their cheeks. Their cheeks got even redder when Himeko spoke, "Yeah. I still remember that Friday morning, when you confronted him to save me, Yuusuke."

"U-uugh. That's embarrassing, you know."

"Y—yeah. You are right. It was embarrassing," she agreed.

"It's your fault for telling me such a thing after school on the previous day!"

"But I'm glad I had told you my feelings. It made me… relieved," said Himeko, putting her head to Bossun's shoulder.

The messy-haired man had his eyes back to his twin brother before he spoke. "Hmm, I guess Sasuke is right. We also have to thank the culprits LOL."

"Agreed, Yuusuke LOL."

"LOL. That makes me the only one whose love life wasn't affected by that case LOL."

"Enough with the 'LOL' thing, LO…! AAARGH I ALMOST CAUGHT UP WITH IT!" Sasuke covered his mouth with his hands, blushing.

FLASHBACK, 10 YEARS BEFORE THE 'PRESENT' TIME.

It was a Friday morning and the seniors would face their second semester mid-test on Monday. The students were prepared by their mentors by doing quizzes and exercises. Sasuke and Bossun were taking the same quizzes as other students, but the twins hadn't done quite well on them. It seemed that they were quite bothered by the case.

The brothers met each other in front of the school gate.

"Fujisaki."

". . ."

"… Are you still in shock for what Agata-san said?"

". . ." He still did not answer.

"Fujisaki!"

"... Ah, Tsubaki? So you call him Agata-san now? What happened?"

"Well, yesterday right after our cram school was over, he suddenly came and asked me to call him that way, or 'brother'. He also, asked me to teach Saaya. So we exchanged emails last ni—Wait. Answer my question first, you fool! And I've told you about the-Agata-san thing yesterday when we went home together!" Sasuke snapped.

"I'm sorry. Right now, my head is full," the red-hatted man spoke in a deadpan tone. His twin brother was a little surprised with his unusual response.

"So you are still in shock, after Agata-san stated that our brains are in trouble! Well, we failed in his easy quizzes after all… It's understandable if he scolded us like that," Sasuke spoke, taking off his shoes to change into his indoor ones. There were students, coming from the entrance door, and they did the same as Sasuke did, since they had just arrived at school.

"It's not important now. What's more important is to find that Shimura guy and settle this quickly, because this case sucks a lot," Bossun spoke, taking off his shoes as well.

"Yes, right. I had found out about that guy last night. He's not a good guy, you see. He was a member of the spider association, which the student council had suspended last year. However, he was not there when we confronted them, because he was a transfer student. He must have moved here to gather with fellow members. Unfortunately, the organization itself had already been dismissed right after he transferred. I guess he's still holding a grudge against us," Sasuke stood still, waiting for Bossun, who was still in front of his locker.

"A transfer student in an evil organization, huh? That should explain why Switch doesn't have his information. We really have to meet him quickly. What about taking a detour to 3-F to take a look at his face, Tsubaki?" his expression suddenly changed, from serious into a grin.

"Hmph. That's my plan."

Bossun and Sasuke had now changed into their indoor shoes, they walked to the corridor, and then headed to the stairs. The corridor was crowded, because some students were still coming, bringing books and notes with them. They usually wouldn't have brought books or notes, if it was not for the next week's mid-test exam. On the other hand, the twins should have done the same, if it were not for the case which was bugging them.

It annoyed the long-lost brothers, because they could hear everyone talking about them on their backs.

"Tch. I can't believe that that expressionless clueless guy can make a harem of quality women!"

"Have you heard about the news of the horrible case of The President's Harem? Rumor has it that Ex-President Tsubaki had also added Unyuu-senpai to his harem!"

"WHAT? He's terrible to the core!"

The enraged Sasuke couldn't hold his anger any longer. He would have exploded, if Bossun wasn't there to stop him from storming to those students, who talked behind them, spreading false gossips. They continued their journey to class 3-F, instead of wasting their limited time on those students.

"HUH?!"

"What's wrong, Fujisaki?" Sasuke approached Bossun, who was holding a piece of paper on his hand. It seemed as if there was something written on it.

"Himeko…"

"Onizuka? What's with her, Fujisa... OI, FUJISAKI! Where are you going!?"

Bossun took off, leaving his twin brother in the dust. Sasuke ran after him at the corridor and caught up quite quickly. He was more athletic than Bossun after all.

"Fujisaki, what's with that paper?"

"They got Himeko…"

"Huh?"

"THAT SHIMURA GUY SAID HE HAD SEIZED HIMEKO!"

"What?! THAT Onizuka? How come!? He must be very strong! Let me help you!"

"No, he told me to come alone."

"You fool! That's a trap for sure!"

". . .!" Without answering his younger twin brother, Bossun kept running up the stairs.

"WAIT—AAAGH !" Sasuke tripped, when he was about to take another step up the stairs. Bossun failed to notice it, as he continued running to the 3rd floor. "Tch. That fool!"

The Leader of Sket-Dan had finally arrived at the radio room. The door was closed, but he could hear voices from the inside.

"Hmph, without your hockey stick, you are nothing! That one time you beat me was all thanks to your hockey stick!"

"Release me, you idiot! Do you really think the teachers will do nothing about this?"

"Khu khu khu. You are the idiot. Do you really think that we do this without back-ups? Hahaha!"

"Boss, it seems like her boyfriend is not coming. What should we do with this woman?"

"Hmph. He's such a chicken. I even do all the troubles kidnapping this woman. You can do whatever you like with her!"

As soon as Bossun heard the woman's voice, he slid the door open violently.

*BANG!*

"SHIIIIMURAAA!"

"Bossun!"

"Ah! Speak of the devil," spoke a huge tan-skinned muscular man. Bossun could see him very clearly from face to face; he had a yellow dyed hair, sharp eyes, and thick eyebrows.

"I won't let you lay any of your fingers on her, Shimura! Get away from her!"

"Hmm? Or else what?"

"Or I will use violence."

*pi!*

"You? Violence? HUHAHAHAHA!"" Shimura stepped back, sitting on a desk.

"So what of it? You will regret it if you see my wrath!" Bossun clenched his fists.

"Oh, you want to fight me? Well, that if you can defeat my subordinates first…"

"Bossun! You idiot, don't fight him! You won't be able to defeat him!" Himeko screamed.

"Haaah!" Bossun charged first. However, he failed to get through the underlings and was punched in the stomach instead.

"Just give up. You are as weak as a jelly bean. Hahahha!"

"You…! UAKH!" Bossun took another beating.

"I will stop them if you do what I say…"

"As if I would do something as petty as you! UAAAGH!"

"It's simple! You will only tell the whole school, that you are the one behind 'The President's Harem' case and swear it!" Shimura said.

"I won't!"

"Is that so? Then we will beat this girl instead~"

"DON'T YOU DAAAARE!" Bossun yelled.

"Bossun, I am alright! Don't ever say it!" Himeko spoke, as the two of Shimura's underlings made their way to the corner of the room, to Himeko's side.

"… Youuuu!"

"Hahaha. This will be very fun, don't you think?"

"Right, bro!"

Suddenly, Bossun got an enormous power and stood by his feet. He jumped towards the underlings, while they weren't paying attention. He successfully punched their faces, sending them unconscious.

"So you could move like that, huh? But unfortunately…"

"Bossun… I'm sorry!"

"What!?"

Bossun realized that Himeko's hand was hand-cuffed to a fixed desk, that could not be moved from the floor.

"Haha! You must beat me, if you want the key!" Shimura laughed maniacally, jiggling the key that was in his pocket.

"Tch… FINE…" spoke Bossun angrily.

"Bo… Bossun?"

"Just tell me one thing, before I kill you," he stood from the desk.

"…"

"Why would you do so much over this dirty wom…"

"SHE'S NOT A DIRTY WOMAN!" He cut in. Bossun looked really in rage. His glaring eyes were almost bugged out and his breathing was heavy.

"Bossun…"

"HIMEKO IS MY WOMAN! SO DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HER, YOU DAMN GORILLA!"

...

Upon hearing his words, Himeko could not help, but skip a heartbeat and blushed, "My… my woman?" She was dumbfounded, but also happy at the same time.

"UOOOOO!"

Just when he was about to do another charge, something flew towards their direction and hit the big guy. Bossun stopped his charge, and looked at the situation. It turned out that Shimura had just been hit by a blunt kunai.

As Bossun turned his head towards the door, a silver-haired man appeared.

"Katou, huh?"

"You okay, Fujisaki?"

"What took you so long? This should be your job as a student council president!" Bossun lost his balance and was dropped on the floor.

"I was too busy with my new job. We haven't had someone in charge of general affairs yet," Kiri explained, walking towards the messy-haired man.

He took a short glance at the muscular man as he passed his body. It looked like Shimura was unconscious. Kiri diverted his eyes to Bossun, and then to Himeko.

"Hey! Behind you!" Bossun suddenly yelled.

"UGH!"

"You really think that such a small thing will defeat me!?" Shimura rose, pressed Kiri's head with his right hand, as if he tried to break it.

"Come on! You won't be able to release her, if you don't have this ke…" He rubbed his pocket. However, the key was not there. "Huh? Where's the key?"

"Silk is a master of magic. She could make things vanish in a flash." Suddenly some other people walked into the radio room. There were three of them: A messy brown-haired boy, a girl with a magical hat on her head, and a smiling boy with a hat.

"Looking for this?" said the sharp-witted boy, showing the key, which he had just acquired from his girl partner, on his finger.

"The Pocket-Dan!" Himeko yelled.

"Oh, you should not take your eyes away from that lousy ninja, senpai!" The leader of Pocket Dan, Tact, gave his warning to Shimura.

"What?"

Shimura had just realized that he was not holding Kiri's head anymore, but a mere tree log. Kiri had used his substitution jutsu to get away from him. The evil upperclassman threw it on the floor angrily.

"Brat, by 'lousy ninja', did you address that at me?" Kiri suddenly appeared behind Shimura, seizing and threatening him with a kunai.

"Well, who else could it be? You got yourself caught by that senpai," Tact smirked.

"It was intentional, Shorty. I must turn off the 'ON AIR' function, so no one will know there was a violent act here," he explained.

"HUH!?" Himeko was shocked after hearing Kiri's word. It was as if the time stopped for her. She didn't even realize that the pantomime, the other male member of The Pocket-Dan, had released her from the hand-cuffs.

She asked the ninja one more time to assure that she had heard it right, "Oi, Katou. W—was t-the 'ON AIR' function really active?"

"You don't know?" he replied.

"The whole school had heard Bossun-san's confession you know," the light-brown haired boy said.

"CONFESSION!?"

"It seems like that over-muscular senpai over there accidentally turned it on," Tact pointed at Shimura, who was seized by Kiri.

"Co—confession? Ah, that's right! That time when Shimura asked him, why he would bother come here fighting him!" Himeko spoke mentally, as she remembered the moment when Bossun had made her blushing crazily. "Anyways, how does Bossun feel right now? He must have been very shocked! That idiot!" Himeko turned her head to see Bossun, who wasn't looking at her. She could still hear his voice though.

"Is that so…? The whole school knows?"

Of course, stupid! Why are you so calm about it! This isn't like you! You should have been crying and asking 'what should we do, Himeko?' instead!

He turned his head slowly towards Himeko, with tears running down his cheeks, "What should we do, Himeko?"

"I KNEW IT!" She cried.

Watching this scene had made Kiri sigh, he then walked out of the room with Shimura, after the Pocket-Dan left. He later met Sasuke, who was still catching his breath at the corridor, and greeted him.

"Kaicho! You have bruises!"

"I tripped."

"I am sorry, Kaicho. I should have never taken my eyes off of you!"

"YOU DON'T HAVE TO!"

As if Sasuke already analyzed the situation, he didn't pay any attention to the radio room, but to his predecessor, "Kiri. I want to talk to that person you had just seized."

"What?"

Sasuke turned towards the helpless Shimura, shooting a sharp glare at him. "I don't want to do any meaningless violent act, so I will forgive you, if you just admit that you were the one who spread those nasty rumors about me," Sasuke remarked.

"Hmph! I'm not the one who spread those photos!"

"WHAT!? Then who?"

"You better tell him, if you don't want to be hurt!" Kiri threatened him.

"I'm being honest here. I'm not the one who took or spread those photos," he said. His eyes were telling the truth, "It was someone you know."

"Someone I know? Who?"

Meanwhile in the radio room, Bossun and Himeko were still sitting on the floor. They couldn't believe what had just happened. The atmosphere felt really awkward for a genuine tsukkomist like Himeko, so she called him to start a conversation, "Hey Bossun."

"What?"

"Why did you say those things?"

"What things?"

"Of course the 'Himeko is my woman' thing!" she explained, rather angrily.

"Ah! I—it's not like that, you see! I was about to say 'MY VICE-PRESIDENT', but my tongue was twisted, you see!" Bossun goofily answered.

"Is t—that so… Well, that's what I thou…"

"No. I meant it, Himeko," he cut in. His expression was really serious.

"Eeeh!?" the blond-haired woman yelled. Her cheeks were as red as a tomato.

Bossun took a deep breath before he spoke, "I like you."
