Golden
Hello everybody and welcome back to chapter nine~!
This story came together with the help of Persona 2 Innocent Sin, (which I just started and love), Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4 the Animation/Golden Animation, Persona 3 FES/Persona 3 Portable/Persona 3 Movie #1 Spring Of Birth and Persona Q Shadows of the Labyrinth, (which I'm still trying to complete – it's a fan service story so I'm taking a bit more than just 'taking my time').
Moving on, for the title… I decided to do something simple, ('Golden' … It has a unique ring to it that I like)…
I hope you guys enjoy this. Please leave feedback.
Anyway onto the summary;
Returning to normal life in the city wasn't that hard as Yu Narukami thought. It's only barely been a week since the craziness of the Midnight Channel of him, Rise and the rest of the investigation team - teaming up to dance their way through ending waves of shadows and down to the real cause of why people, once again, were going missing. However, now after finally settling back in his home, he faces challenges as a third-year, his unique and awkward family and the possibility of tragedy right around the corner – Yu Narukami is seemingly on his own as this new version of the 'Midnight Channel' has appeared in the real world. Will he rise up again to face this evil? Or shall the truth and destiny of all of man - doomed by shadows that plague his home?
After awaking from a long slumber – Minato found himself back in the world of the living. With the aid of Elizabeth, an ex-velvet room attendant, Minato gets back in touch with life – only to be brought into a world he thought he completed. This time around Minato is trapped within the Midnight Hour. Despite concerns from an outside party – he's not worried. However, it's clear that somethings aren't the same as they were once. Things start to unravel as he tries to defeat a new evil all on his own and of course Ryoji is always along for the ride. How will that shape his world? Will anything come and change or will he fall under the weight of what the Midnight Hour has to offer?
With Jitsuko persona powers awakened, Yu and Minato have a great new ally. Despite easily balancing her day to day work and her abilities during the Midnight hour – Jitsuko feels something dark lingering along her shoulder at every turn. How will Jitsuko handle this problem? Will she break under this dark aura?
Oh, as the story goes on – I shall update the summary, so try not to skim over it.
Next the keys or special notes you need to look out for within the story, so you all can understand.

Hmmm... so does this mean that Jitsuko's mother is that greedy fox? (Seriously he (she?) charges 10,000 yen for one heal at the 9th level social link!)
Not going to lie – on my play-through of Persona 4 Golden with the fox, I've never got that far. If so – I'm so sorry, that's a lot of money! Also, you'll just have to read to find out. :)
(If I get any reviews I'll answer them here. Unless you don't want me to – just put in your review that you just want me to pm you back and that's fine as well.)
I don't really have too much to add but I would like to give thanks to the songs 'Connect' and 'Irony' by ClariS to finally help me figure out how my ideas of this story as they finally clicked together.
Nevertheless, let's jump right into the story!
Yu idly tapped his pencil on written pages of paper of his English notes. Nothing of too hard of concepts – really it was Mrs. Chino's idea for a quick review. It was weird seeing Mrs. Chino drop her guard a bit when she called roll. First impressions were tough and very confusion at times. Ever since last year – Yu does it best to try to see what a person is really like – good or bad – before making a choice on either or not he would act on said impulses.
Gray eyes that brewed storms glanced between notes and the window. It was really such a nice day. A blank expression held so well, couldn't flatter at this time. It's not a problem – Yu wasn't that weak. But, he was. Maybe it was because he found what he was able to do verse what he had limits on what he could do. Sure, he saved everyone – yet at the same time it weird since being bad, even with the current situation, the world wasn't on his shoulders.
However, if the world was on Minato's shoulders, then it fell to Yu… who was next? Yu only hoped that person he or she would be strong enough to face it along with whatever friends he or she gained along the way.
Class rolled on without a problem, however Mrs. Chino gave them a task without skipping a beat – right before the bell,
"Alright class, remember interview one of your family members about their past and bring it in… if you're able to write a page on it, I'll give you some extra credit points. Okay, great! Have a good lunch!" She stopped then gasped quickly adding, "Oh, and don't forget class – test next week on Monday." A light groan of protest fill everyone's ears but there was nothing more than that. Then right on que, Mrs. Chino dismissed them. Yu didn't realize how stiff her was until he slowly stood and stretched, popping a few bones back in place and rolling his shoulders and neck.
As Yu gathered his things, Mrs. Chino went by his side,
"Mr. Narukami." Looking up, Yu slight braced himself for some type of negative comment. He really wasn't feeling it today after the other night. However, to his surprise she only smiled, crossing her arms in a playful manner. As if she was going to surprise him, however she only told him, "Relax, no need for all of that. I was telling you that I was looking forward to reading your paper tomorrow night."
"Oh, I see. I'll try my best. We didn't do a lot of this at my old school." He explained which she nodded,
"I figured, I'm trying something new myself all the while following the structure you need to get into college. I have high hopes for you Mr. Narukami. If you need any help, drop by the teacher faculty around four-thirty, I'm usually there until eight."
"Oh?" Yu questioned as Mrs. Chino raised a brow,
"Well yes, you're not the only student I have... besides you're the only one that recessives help, actually I tutor some students before and after class. I feel like I should repay you for helping me through the school black-out, I really appreciate it." Yu didn't know what to say, however he smiled nonetheless and bowed his head slightly,
"It's really isn't a big problem; however, you are welcome." Yu only looked up when he heard a snort like laugh from the teacher,
"Yes, go on and eat lunch. Have a good day, Mr. Narukami."
"Right, I will. You have a good day too."
"I'm planning on it." She told him, smiling. Yu felt his bond with Mrs. Chino grow as he grabbed his bag and lunch. Mrs. Chino moved out of his way so he could each lunch on the roof top. As the day went on, in the back of his mind, Minato and Jitsuko condition were building. However, he hadn't heard anything from Minato so he figured he would take that as a good omen.
Minato accepted the tea he was given afternoon after Jitsuko finished her praying sessions, it wouldn't be too much longer before Yu got out of school. Minato figured it would be a good time to meet up and chat on what they were planning on doing next. He would sneak around the place, however, he nearly got caught after breakfast… he was sure that Jitsuko was the only one who could see him, but he couldn't be too careful.
Sighing heavily, Minato picked up his tea and took a drink, glad that it finally cooled off.
Getting home, Yu got a surprise but the wonderful smell of food cooking from the kitchen.
"Hello?"
"Welcome home honey!" His mother called as Yu took off his shoes and made his way to the kitchen as his parents were cooking dinner.
"Hey, I hope you'll be hungry soon. Dinner will be ready within the hour." Yu didn't even care if he wasn't later, he would just eat with his family.
"Of course. What are we having?"
"I hope you're okay with burgers and a side of vegetable and rice."
"Sure, sounds good. Do… you guys have to work tonight?"
"No, we finally got through all our work to have a moment to ourselves and to you." His father chimed in, moving over to ruffle his hair before leaving to go to the bedroom. He was always a man of a few words, completely different from his uncle. A light smile appeared on Yu's face. He was going to enjoy himself tonight.
I'm sorry everyone, I know it's a filler – just bear with me please. I hope you enjoy the chapter. Thank my beta reader for all her hard work. In any case, I'll see you all in the next chapter!
Ciao~!
