A/N: Hey guys! I have a special request for you! Could you possible help me think of a good superhero name for Angie? I think I have a good one, but I'm not sure if it will work. Just leave your ideas in the reviews please!

Disclaimer: *sigh* I'm really getting tired of this. I don't own any characters from Sky High, or Rose. I only own Adam, Angie, Jeremy, and the Twins

One Week Later…

Angie P.O.V

"Can anyone tell me who a fictional superhero was?" asked the bald teacher at the front of the room. I was currently in Superhero: Fact or Fiction class. I felt so out of place in the super classes. All of the teachers picked me to answer questions, but I never got any of them right.

"Angie." Mr. Baker called on me, snapping me out of my day dream. "Could you possibly tell the class a fictional hero?"

"Uh," I blushed from the sudden shift of attention. "The Green Lantern?"

The entire class burst into laughter. The teacher sighed.

"No Ms. McLine." Mr. Baker walked up to the board and began writing random stuff down. "The Green Lantern was an actual hero. He was able to summon objects with his mind, thus giving him the capabilities he appeared with in the comic books."

I shrank down in my seat. How can they expect me to know all this stuff, when I've only been a hero for a week? I was taken out of my reverie as the bell rang.

"Okay class," Mr. Baker called over the noise. "Your homework over the weekend is to find a superhero with your power and interview them. See you Monday!"

"Finally!" I exclaimed, rushing out of the room. "I thought he would never stop talking!"

"Really? I didn't peg you for a school-hating type." Adam drawled from behind me. "I figured that you would leave that to me, Rose and Jeremy."

"Nah," I walked with him to the school's entrance. "I like normal school. Not this." We waited there for Rose and Jeremy.

"What did you think of your second week of school?" Adam asked, throwing his arm around my shoulder. He still hadn't worked up the nerve to ask out Melody, but he was beginning to talk with her.

"I guess it was okay." I grimaced. "After that...occurrence… with Lash, he left me alone."

"And you're upset with that fact?" Adam lifted an eyebrow. "I figured you would have been happy about that."

"I am." I reassured him quickly. "It's just the fact that he promised revenge."

"Pshaw." Adam muttered. "Knowing Lash, it was probably only meant to scare you."

"I don't know." I rubbed the back of my neck. "With the way he said it, he meant it."

I shuddered, remembering the look that had been in his eyes after that kiss. He meant what he said about getting revenge. All week, he had left me alone. Not even a glance was thrown my way. He didn't pick me for Save the Citizen, and even when I was picked, he never fought me! He was acting like I didn't even exist!

"Hey guys!" Rose called. She skipped merrily over to us and flopped down on the ground. "So I heard that a certain someone was planning a certain something!"

"Who told you about the bomb?" Jeremy cried, grabbing her shirt. "I thought I told him to keep it hush-hush!"

"It's not about you or your insane mumblings." Rose snapped at him and pushed him away. "It's about Lash and Angie."

"I thought you said he was leaving you alone?" Adam asked, lifting an eyebrow.

"I thought he was too." I muttered and turned to Rose. "Do you know what he's planning?"

"I think it has something to do with you and Save the Citizen." Rose scratched the back of her neck. "I couldn't get any more than that. Lash and Speed caught me eavesdropping before I could find anything else out."

"Well that helps." Jeremy muttered. "Now she's gonna be even MORE paranoid!"

"What do you mean even MORE?" I glared at the blonde. "I have not been paranoid."

"Hey there, Angie!" a large hand grabbed my shoulder and pulled into a hug.

"EEK!" I shrieked. "AWAY WITH YE, DEMON!"

I struck out with my arms and legs, hitting the personal space invader anywhere I could. I was soon restrained, and was being held down by a pair of scaly arms. I looked up and smiled at the bruised face of Phillip Goodwill.

"Hey Phillip!" I said bashfully. "Sorry about, um, freaking out."

"It's no problem." He lightly touched his eye, and winced. Adam let me go and I walked over to Phillip.

"Here." I placed a hand on his face. "I can heal that for you."

"You should," he mumbled. "You caused it."

"So," Adam placed his head on my shoulder. "What was that about NOT being paranoid?"

"Oh shut it." I grumbled. I focused my energy on Phillip's eye, and released enough to heal the bruise. "I really am sorry about this."

"It's no biggie." He smiled and waved it off. "At least you didn't blast me through a wall."

I winced as he reminded me of the "Lash Incident". I glanced around nervously, trying to assure myself that nothing was going to happen. Jeremy was right. I WAS acting more paranoid. I could hardly be blamed for it, though. I've been having this feeling all week. It's like I'm being watched. It's how I was feeling right before I was pulled out of my old school and forced to come here.

"What's so bad about this place?" Jeremy asked me, placing his hands on his hips.

"Nothing," I reassured him. "I just miss my old friends. That's all."

"Hey!" Jeremy snapped his fingers in a sign of a great epiphany. "What if we met your old friends? Then we could all hang out together!"

I glanced around my super-powered friends. Jeremy had an insane smile on his face. Adam wore a scowl that would frighten the devil himself. Rose was holding a ball of lightning and wore an "innocent" smile. Phillip was teleporting random objects to drop on people's heads. I shook my head with a sad smile on my face.

"Sorry guys." I told them. "I don't think my old friends would, uh, get you."

"Is it 'cause I'm blonde?" Jeremy placed his hands on his hips again. He looked like a prissy deva. "I though normies liked blondes."

"No you idiot." Rose lightly slapped him. "It's because we have powers, isn't it?"

She turned to me expectantly. A smirk adorned her face, and she had a black eyebrow lifted skeptically. I smiled at her and nodded, proving her assumption correct.

"I knew it!" she pumped a fist in the air. "Pay up Brisingr!"

Adam grumbled slightly about clairvoyant kids and cheating. He pulled a crisp twenty out of his pocket and handed it over to the cheering black-haired girl.

"What is this 'bet' about?" I glared playfully at the two.

"It was about why you wouldn't want us to meet your old friends." Adam grumbled reluctantly. "I bet that you wouldn't want us to meet them because you liked us better. She" Adam pointed at the still-gleeful Rose, "bet that is was because we had powers, and you know that we would have freaked them out."

"And I was right!" Rose sang in a high voice. "The Queen is ALWAYS right!" She danced around and held the twenty dollars about her head.

I laughed at her poor attempt of a rain dance and joined her.

"FEMALES RULE!" We shouted, dancing in a circle. We were soon interrupted by a deep voice.

"Are you so sure about that, chicas?" Alejandro called over to us. "I'm pretty sure that males are in charge of the world right now."

"And look at what that caused for the world." Rose snapped, her hands immediately charging with lightning.

Alejandro's eyes widened, and he took a small step back. His brown eyes narrowed in on the bill that Rose had clutched in her non-sparking fist. His lips lifted in a smirk.

"So," he crossed his arms across his chest. "You came across some money, did you Hex?"

"That's hardly any of your business." Rose bristled, her frame now shaking in anger.

If I had learned anything about Rosalind Hex, it was that money was a touchy subject for her. She had confided in me that her family was a little tight on the greenbacks, but she begged me to not feel any pity for her. She hated people that pitied her because of her money situation.

"What did you do for it?" Alejandro asked, pressing further. His smirk had become a full-blown grin.

"Not anything that you're thinking!" Jeremy snapped. He pushed his way in front of Rose and glared at the Spanish villain. "Rose would NEVER do something like that!"

"Sure she wouldn't." Alejandro muttered. He was about to add another snide comment, but he was cut off as Rose fired a ball of lightning at his head.

He said nothing as he walked back into school. The early lunch bell rang and Adam and Jeremy rushed inside to get their food. They were growing boys, after all.

Rose hadn't moved an inch. I carefully made my way over to her, keeping my eyes trained on her still-sparking fists.

"Rose?" I called softly. "Are you alright?"

"I'll kill him." She growled. "Soon. But not now. I have to eat lunch first."

I smiled, relieved that she was acting like her normal Alejandro-hating self. I linked my arm with hers and we made our way into the crowded cafeteria. Rose slipped into the lunch line, shocking anyone who came too close to her. She returned to our table a few minutes later with two Hero sandwiches.

"Lunch," she declared. "Is served!"

I dug in. I scanned my eyes around the room, bored with the meager conversation that occurred at my table. I froze in my chair as I made eye contact with Lash.

It's been a whole week, and he hadn't acknowledged me in any way, shape, or form. The lack of his contact had made me uneasy. The reason for that feeling, I don't know. But when his eyes met mine after a week of no contact, I felt a squeamish feeling in my stomach.

"Hey Angie," Adam nudged my shoulder. "We're going to go get some ice cream. You want some?"

"Sure." I told him, breaking my staring contest with Lash. "Get me chocolate please."

Adam nodded and left with Rose and Jeremy. I turned back to where Lash had been sitting, but he wasn't there. I let out a small sigh of relief and turned back to my lunch.

"Did you miss me?" Chocolate brown eyes burned into mine.

My eyes widened, and I backed my seat up. Striped limbs climbed over the back of my seat, effectively holding me in place.

"You're not going anywhere until I get my revenge." Lash stated. "I've actually been thinking about it too."

"Oh really?" I asked, narrowing my eyes. "And what, exactly, have you come up with?"

"I was getting to that." Lash said through clenched teeth. "And I decided that it shall be put into action during Save the Citizen!"

"And why are you telling me this now?" I asked. "You know I'll just avoid your little plan."

"I know." Lash smirked. "I also know that you'll wind up trying to find out what I've planned, but you won't be able to. That alone will eat you up inside until you're begging to find out what it is."

I swallowed nervously. Lash got me on that one.

"I know you better than you think I do." Lash muttered. "I've been watching you this whole week."

"B-but!" I stammered out. "You haven't even LOOKED at me this entire past week!"

"Hmm," Lash grinned evilly. "That means that you've been looking at me, doesn't it?"

"No," I blushed and looked away. "It means that I should know if you've been stalking me."

"Oh darn." Lash frowned in disappointment. "Your friends are back. Guess we'll have to save the rest of this 'get-together' for another time."

I looked up for the sight of my friends, and then turned back to Lash for a retort. I tilted my head in confusion when he wasn't there.

"LOOK OUT!" Rose shouted.

I whipped my head around and caught the fudge Popsicle that was currently aimed for my head. I smirked in victory and waved it above my head.

"Aww." Jeremy pouted. "I was aiming for your face."

"I noticed." I smiled and unwrapped the frozen treat. "I still caught it."

I tried to ignore the incessant feeling of uneasiness that plagued me throughout the rest of lunch. Luckily, I managed to cover it up by joking with Rose about Alejandro.

"Well," Adam stretched his large frame and stood up. "I think it's time to get to class. Hopefully I can blow something up in Mad Science."

"Oh yeah!" Jeremy high-fived Adam and picked up the trash from the table. "See you later, Angie!"

"I guess we should get going…" my voice trailed off as I realized that Rose went with Adam and Jeremy. I sighed at the impatience of my friends and grabbed my backpack.

"I just wish I knew what Lash was planning." I muttered to myself.

I stopped in the middle of the hallway and faced palmed once I realized what I was saying.

"What is wrong with me?" I asked myself. "First, I find myself attracted to him. Now, I'm ACTUALLY worried about what he told me! Pull it together!"

"So, you're actually being bothered by this?"

I whipped around and glared at Lash. His face was lit up with a gleeful smirk. He pushed himself off the lockers and placed his hands on both side of my head. I tried to bring my knee up to nail him in the crotch, but he moved his leg in between mine.

I was officially screwed.

"Could we possibly NOT be touching?" I asked sarcastically. Lash leaned his face closer to mine and grinned.

"Nah." Lash chuckled. "I prefer this position."

I felt my face heat up as he pressed closer to me. I moved my hands up and charged them up with purple energy. Lash's eyes widened and he quickly moved his head down. He pressed his lips against mine fiercely.

The first time Lash kissed me, it felt forced. There was something different about this kiss. My purple eyes fluttered shut, and I felt the energy fading from my grasp. Completely against my will, my arms wrapped around Lash's neck. Once again, Lash slipped his tongue into my mouth and left me breathless.

Soon, I regained my senses and opened my eyes again. Lash's chocolate brown eyes burned into my own. He pulled his lips away from mine and smiled. Not a smug smile, but he had a genuine smile on his face.

I pressed a hand to my lips, wincing as I felt the slightly bruised flesh. Several moments later, my powers kicked in and I felt the swollen skin heal and fade back to normal size.

"Well," Lash's voice broke me out of my trance. "You didn't seem to mind our second kiss."

"Uh." Was all I could manage. I really didn't expect this. When people thought of Lash, they imagine pain and torment. When I thought of Lash, I didn't know what he was. Sometimes he was gentle and sweet, and other times, he was fierce and a force to reckon with.

"Speechless, I see." Lash let go of me and stepped back.

I stood there in dumb silence. My brain was still fuzzy from the kiss.

"I'll see you in Gym." Lash winked and walked away.

My body mourned the loss of his warmth. Part of me wanted to run to him and kiss him again, but I quickly shook the thought from my head. That was probably his revenge. Now I don't have to worry about anything.

But why did it feel so genuine?

If it had been revenge, shouldn't he had taken a picture, or done it in front of everyone? Instead, why ambush me in the middle of a deserted hallway?

I looked up at the clock and nearly swore when I saw I had 30 seconds to make it to Super Hero History. I sprinted down the hall and located my room. When I arrived outside, I cursed again when I remembered that Lash was in this class. Instead of freaking out, I calmed my thoughts and walked in the room just as the bell rang.

"You're quite the lucky one, aren't you Ms. McLine?" Mr. Kistner drawled. He had a small smile on his face.

"I guess you could say that." I laughed nervously and sat down in front of Lash. I kept facing forward, trying to ignore the fact that brown eyes were burning a hole in the back of my head.

"Well class," Mr. Kistner turned back to the class and walked to the front of the room. "Now we gave to move on to the section of history I like to call, 'The Rise of the Hero'. In this chapter, we will look at the beginning of the Hero Movement."

I leaned down to get my notepad out of my backpack, and felt a small tickle on my butt. I whipped my head around and glared at the all-too-familiar striped appendage sliding back to its original place on Lash's desk.

"What?" he asked, lifting an eyebrow. "Can't blame me for touching something so tempting."

I turned back around in a huff. Instead of replying to him, I would ignore him until I figure out exactly HOW I felt about him. I can imagine what Alex would say.

'He's the hot bad boy! Go for him!'

Oh poor Alex. If only you knew what the meaning of 'bad boy' is here.

A/N: And it ends the way it begins. Angie and Lash sitting right next to each other after a *ahem* special encounter. R and R guys!
