The thing I think I love
Will surely bring me pain
Intoxication, paranoia, and a lot of fame
Three cheers for throwing up
Pubescent drama queen
You make me sick, I make it worse by drinking late

Jasper

"Good morning Isa."

She had just woken up and curled into a ball, rubbing her face against my chest. She and Angela stayed up basically all night, falling asleep just a couple hours ago, watching their movies.

"Morning." She mumbled burrowing deeper into my chest. "I have to get up, don't I?"

"Only if you really wanna wash your hair." I said against said hair.

"I washed it last night." She whined.

I raised a brow and picked up a strand of her hair. I brought it in front of her face and showed her the crumbs imbedded in the strands.

"I hate Ang." She groaned, sitting up.

"I love you too bestie." Ang said sitting up with her.

Their laced hands fell in Isa's lap.

"Are you ready?" Isa asked.

Ang nodded and they started their elaborate handshake.

I moved away quickly, avoiding Isa's hair as they ended their handshake with the usual hair flip.

"Come back." She pouted as Ang headed to the bathroom.

"No more hair flips." I said walking at a human speed towards the bed.

"I promise." She smiled.

I laughed and kissed her nose. We talked about nothing in particular as Angela took a shower.

"Show up for Comp. please?" she asked.

"I'll see what I can do." I said pushing her hair from her face.

"Ok."

"I need to go home and get the truck." I said quietly as I heard the shower cut off. "I'll be back in a few."

She nodded and chewed her lip. I felt her conflicting emotions as I stood and walked to her door.

I walked down the stairs slowly as I felt her work closer to a decision.

"Jas."

I stopped at the door and caught my tiny mate as she jumped in my arms.

"Yes?"

She kissed me lightly. "Bring me lunch if you can come." She said quickly before kissing me again and running up the stairs.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. Isabella will be the death of me.

Isabella

I bit my lip to hide my smile as I sat on my bed and watched Ang get dressed.

"I'm assuming it went well." She said brushing her wet hair.

"I'm not freaking out right now so yeah." I sighed. "He knew I was conflicted about something but he let me work through it."

"So all is well?"

"I ran back upstairs before he could say or do much of anything but I'm sure it is. I'm gonna hop in the shower now."

"I'll set out your clothes."

I walked to the bathroom and showered; washing my forever long hair twice.

I dried my hair and looked at myself in the mirror. For the first time in five and a half years, I finally felt semi happy with my body and it was all because of Jasper.

Jasper was my biggest supporter in getting better and he constantly told me how much he loved my body and how beautiful he thought I was.

I looked in the mirror and lifted my hair, letting it drop heavily over my shoulders. I bit my lip as I considered it.

Maybe I'll straighten it today. I plugged in my straightener and headed back to my room.

"I'm straightening my hair." Ang said when she heard my door open.

"I was just debating that." I said pulling on the clothes she left out.

"How does it feel?" she asked when I finished getting dressed.

I chewed my lip as I looked at myself in the mirror behind my door.

The black shorts she picked brightened my already pale skin but I wasn't focused on that. My thighs, my legs in general, were well toned from my years of dancing and they looked great in the shorts. My scars were contained to my arms and the black long sleeved V-neck she chose hid them.

"I like it." I said quietly. "I think I'll be fine."

"We always have clothes in Jas's truck for situations as such." She reminded standing behind me. "I love you."

"I love you too." I said turning and hugging her.

Besides Jasper, Angela was my number two biggest supporter. She made sure I was always comfortable with whatever she picked for us to wear. Yes, we were that disgusting best friend pair that matched but it was generally with the same color or general outfit; never an exact match.

She always reminded me of my escape routes if necessary and, like Jasper; she never forced me to eat too much but still encouraged me to eat. She also encouraged me to move out of my comfort zone with some things.

Ang was the best friend I could ever ask for and she kept Peter in check when necessary. It was an all-around win for everyone involved.

I quickly straightened my hair and decided against my contacts for the day. I put on my glasses and walked out of the bathroom.

Ang met me at the landing for the stairs and we made our way downstairs. She handed me my phone and bag after I pulled on my well-worn all black Vans.

She slid on her own Vans and I grabbed a pop tart for us to share. I ate half of one before I was full and finished a water bottle while she ate the rest.

"Jas is here." I said as I heard his truck.

We walked out to his truck and climbed in. Ang kissed his cheek, ignoring Peter's slight growl, and I kissed him lightly.

"Don't the two of you look so pretty." He drawled sweetly as he pulled off.

"We had to be pretty enough for you." I said rolling my eyes as I put my feet up on the dashboard.

"Represent for the third musketeer that leaving us for two days." Ang added.

"I might be able to show up on Monday, hopefully." He said rubbing my leg.

I hummed. "What are you gonna do today?"

"Peter is paying for my new phone and probably fix up the cabin some." He said as he pulled into the school parking lot. "I really wish I could stay."

I pouted lightly as Ang slid from the car and Peter followed. She was still mad at Peter about breaking Jas's phone and he knew he had a hell of a lot of making up to do.

"Try and get into Comp.?" I asked. "I really want you to be there."

He pushed my hair away from my face and cradled my face in his huge hands. "I'll see what I can do."

I nodded and hugged him. "Bring lunch if you can." I said against his ear.

I felt him nod against my hair. I pulled back and kissed him. He kissed my nose and we both heard the bell ring.

I slid from the car and reached back in for my cell phone. I pulled down my shirt and walked to my locker with Angela.

"Calc.?" I said as I pulled out the books I need for my first to classes.

"Calc. Is Jas gonna show up?"

I shrugged. "Hopefully. I asked him to bring lunch if he does."

She nodded and we hugged before going our separate ways.

Classes were boring, even more so without Jasper. Calc. was marginally better with Ang, but without Jas to share emotions it wasn't the same.

We agreed to meet at the usual table outside when the bell rang and I made my way to Music Appreciation.

When the bell rang, I started the walk to the table looking at my feet.

Hallway there, I felt Jasper throw his arm over my shoulder. I knew it was him because no one would ever dare touch me.

"You're the best." I signed easily as he took my books.

"You asked and I missed you; Peter is so annoying." He signed as I opened the locker. "How did I ever survive without you?"

I giggled quietly and hid my smile behind my hair. "Did you tell Ang you were here?"

He nodded. "Change of plans. Our table is in direct sunlight. We're sitting inside today."

I shrugged and we walked to the cafeteria. I wrapped my arms around his waist as we walked through the line. He added my usual granola bar and lemonade to the tray and paid before we went to sit at a table in the far back of the room.

Jasper

I sat with my back against the wall and Isa sat as close to me as possible. Ang sat across from us and pulled out her phone.

She was used to us not talking if we were in the cafeteria and the usual form of communication was a massive amount of texts.

I set Isa's items in front of her and watched her immediately look at the wrapper.

I took them from her and unwrapped them for her. "No counting numbers when you're with me." I said handing her the bar before shredding the lemonade label. I slid them back to her when I finished.

"Be with me always?" she asked with a soft smile.

I played with the shredded paper. "As much as possible."

I pulled out my phone when I heard Alice and Rosalie whispering about us. I glanced at the girls who were whispering and pointing at Angela's phone.

Disaster is headed our way. –Jasper

Of course it is. They can't be in the same room as me without starting shit. –Isa

Accurate. –Ang

Em and Rose sat at the table and stared at Isa as she picked at the granola bar.

"You gonna eat it?" Rosalie asked rudely.

Isa looked up from the bar and pushed her hair from her face arching a perfect brow. She mouthed 'problem?'

"Just wondering if you're gonna eat or not." Rose clarified. "You look a little faint."

I growled lowly in my chest.

Isa rested a hand against my chest and shared a look with Angela. Ang nodded and picked the chocolate pudding off of my untouched tray.

"What are you up to?" I signed to Isa.

"Nothing." She signed simply. Her and Angela's emotions were too basic for that to be an accurate statement but I decided not to push.

Ang struggled to open the pudding, squeezing the tiny tub.

"Oops." She said as she finally opened it.

Rosalie decided to sit next to her and was in the spray area when the pudding exploded. The chocolate splattered all over her hair and face.

Isa and Ang's emotions skyrocketed. Their amusement and satisfaction were at an all-time high but their faces never showed it.

Isa's face was still as blank as it was when they sat down and Ang's face was apologetic.

"I'm so sorry." Ang said, grabbing napkins.

Instead of dabbing at the pudding, she smeared the dark substance into Rosalie's light colored jeans.

"Stop." Rosalie screamed causing everyone in the cafeteria to look at her. "I will kill the both of you for this." She stomped off.

Emmett and the rest of the family followed. Ang and Isa pulled out their phones as soon as they cleared the doorway.

That was the best thing that has happened yet. –Isa

Much fun. All of the excitement. –Ang

These two are going to kill me.
