"Ah! Momo! She looks pretty here," Anna exclaimed when she saw the portrait of her new friend.

"Oi oi oi, that girl, she's a princess?" Sanji asked. "What was she doing in the forest?"

"Forget what she was doing, if the Marines find out about this, we're going to be beheaded!" Franky whispered loudly. Anna and Kaito looked to one another. Their expressions showed confusion. Beheaded?

"Not if we're trying to find her family," Sanji said. "We're not technically viewed as bad guys anymore."

After the huge war that took place the Straw Hats and the Revolutionary came out victorious. Blackbeard was killed, and Akainu was overthrown by a new fleet admiral. During their journey to different islands, rumors and facts spread all around the world about the Straw Hats and how different they are from other pirates. They were considered "heroes," which Luffy did not like. When Coby took over as fleet admiral, the Marines turned over a new leaf and started over from scratch with the help of the Revolutionary. The tenryuubito's title was taken from them and they now live as regular civilians on the islands.

As of now, Luffy still reigns as the "Pirate King" where he is now staying on an island with his crew raising a family. When they first landed on Harumi, the citizens felt self-conscious about them at first, but after interacting with them, everyone, or at least most of them, grew to live with them. They were just normal people after all. Even the royal family grew to deal with them. However, times can be difficult when the crew is filled with misfits, and that's not just the kids.

"Then again," Sanji continued, "we've gotten into some major trouble because of these." Sanji wiggled his son's arm. "Let's just hope that they don't misunderstand, otherwise we're in a shit load of trouble."

Suddenly, the crowd of people gathered around started running towards one direction. While holding onto Anna's leg with one hand, Sanji wrapped his other arm around Kaito's shoulders and pulled him close when people started running into them. Franky accidentally lost the flyer. More people ran into him due to his large size. And when they did, they complained that it felt like they were running into a metal wall.

"What's going on?" Anna asked.

"SANJI! FRANKY!" Both Straw Hats turned at the sound of their name being called. From the direction the crowd was heading toward emerged Chopper in his human form. He was running toward them while tears streamed down his face.

"Chopper, what's going on?" Sanji asked.

"Its terrible! They're being arrested!" Just from that, they already knew what he was referring to. They sprinted into a run, following the crowd and snaking their way through. Franky and Chopper led the way due to their enormous size pushing people away. Sanji tightly held onto the two little kids on him.

"I see them!" Franky said. When they got to the end, they see Luffy, Nami, and Vivi surrounded by guards. Vivi was being handcuffed while the other two were already chained. When Sanji reached the front of the crowd, he forced himself to stay in his spot. If it weren't for Anna and Kaito holding him, he probably would've went all out.

"What is going on?" Sanji murmured to himself.

"W-Wait!" Momo cried. Suddenly, a woman appeared from the crowd. She ran to where Momo stood and gave her a big hug.

"Chihiro-sama! We've been searching the whole island for you for days! I'm so glad your safe!" said the woman. Chopper eyed the woman. She looked like she was in her mid-forties. She wore a long blue dress that reached down to her ankles. She was short, probably the same height as Nami. Her long black hair was down and it flowed against her back. The only question is, who is she?

Momo wasn't sure where to begin. She couldn't recall who this woman is to her, but she seemed oddly familiar. She called her "Chihiro-sama" which must be her real name. She didn't know how to respond. "U-Um.."

"Take those three to the castle. I'm sure the King and Queen would like a word with them," the woman ordered. "Let's go, Chihiro-sama. Your family is waiting for you at the palace."

"B-But-" No matter what, Momo couldn't say the words she wanted to say. The people that saved her were being arrested. This woman said she had a family waiting for her at the palace. Just a minute ago, she didn't even know who she was. As of now, she didn't know who to trust. Momo crouched down and curled into a ball while covering her ears. Tears were streaming down her cheeks as she sobbed. The raven-haired woman crouched down and wrapped her arms around her shoulders.

"You must have been through so much with these pirates. Luckily we found you. Let's get you back to where you belong. I'm sure your parents and your onee-sama will be ecstatic to see you," the woman said. Momo protest as the woman took her away.

Nami walked side-by-side with her husband and friend. They've been free from the Marines' hands ever since Coby took the title as fleet admiral. Who'd have thought they'd get themselves into this kind of situation? It was clearly a misunderstanding. Sure they didn't have any proof, but they had Momo, and she's more than enough evidence to prove their innocence. Her main concern, however, were her children.

"Dad, where are they taking Mom?" Kaito asked.

"Let's go. We need to let the others know before we can do anything else," Sanji ordered the other two. He kept a tight hold of his son's hand as they snaked through the crowd of people. Franky and Chopper were right behind them. Sanji didn't want the youngest ones getting involved. Furthermore, if any of the citizens recognize them as the Straw Hats, they'll most likely get arrested as well, and Sanji didn't want that when they have Kaito and Anna with them.

"I'm surprised you didn't jump in there and tried to stop them, not that we want you to," Franky said.

"Believe me, I wanted to. But that would've put all of us into bigger trouble."

"Dad?" Kaito shook his father's hand.

"Mom's going to be away for a little while, Kaito. Don't worry, she'll be back very soon," Sanji reassured him, then glanced up at Anna. "Your parents will be away for a little while too, Anna."

"Why?" Anna asked.

Why? Sanji honestly didn't know how to respond to that.

"E-Eh? What do you mean they were arrested? They just went to look for her family!" Zoro said. "And since when did Momo magically turn into the princess? I thought Haku only had one daughter."

"What an amazing turn of events," Brook said. He casually took a sip of his coffee at the dining table.

After Sanji called the rest of the crew, everyone agreed to meet at Sanji's home. Everyone had gathered in the living room while Kaito and Anna were sent upstairs so they wouldn't hear their conversation. The oldest kids were downstairs listening as well. Taichi, Haru, and Syo took the news the hardest.

"Who knew that girl turned out to be the princess?" Aria asked. "Well, from her appearance, she did kind of looked like a princess. And Haru was going on about her looking like a ghost. I bet he had a crush on her."

"What should we do?" Kaya asked. "What if they're locked up in a jail cell as we speak?"

"Kaya," Usopp said while shaking his head, indicating for her to stop.

"When we moved to this island, we made an agreement with the royal family that we won't do anything pirate-related so long as they treat us like everyone else. The royal family are good people. I'm sure they'll overlook this as a misunderstanding," Robin said.

"Yeah! Momo will tell them the truth!" Aria said. "She won't betray us after saving her."

"Or what if it was a set up to make us look like criminals?" Franky wondered. He received a smack to the back of the head by an arm that appeared on his back, courtesy of Robin.

"Now you're going to far," Usopp said.

"If our parents won't be back tonight... what will we do?" Syo asked sadly. The Straw Hats noticed a sudden change in Taichi, Syo, and Haru's behavior when they found out about the news concerning their parents. After finding out about their parents, Haru hasn't been his usual cheery self. All three children haven't been their usual selves. Haru has been quiet. He only spoke when spoken to and acted overly polite to others, as if having a good behavior will bring his parents back. Taichi, on the other hand, has been very distant.

"We'll do nothing. I'm sure those three can talk their way of this. As for Luffy's kids, Chopper and Brook will be staying with them for the night," Robin explained.

"Staying with us?" Taichi asked.

"So to say if this was a "set up," we'll have someone watching over you," Usopp said. "Just if it was a set up, just saying. Besides, we can't leave you alone by yourselves overnight yet."

"So, we can at least guarantee our parents and Auntie Vivi will be back here tomorrow?" Haru asked.

"As soon as possible," Robin reassured him.

"I demand to see the king! This is outrageous..." Luffy's voice trailed away from exhaustion. One touch from the cell bars and his strength was immediately drained. He fell till his back was flat on the ground while he still gripped the bar.

"Stop touching the bars already!" Nami said. Luffy pursed his lips, then let go of the bar. He folded his arms and stared at the ceiling.

"We've been here for three hours and no one has come down to get us," Vivi said.

"Is Momo really the princess of this island?" Luffy asked.

"By the way those guards and that woman reacted when they saw her, most likely. Only question is, why are we taken in when we were just trying to return her to her family? We didn't do anything wrong!" Vivi said.

"I never knew he had another daughter," Luffy murmured.

A guard appeared on the other side of the cell. His sudden appearance made the girls jump, but Luffy stared at him as if he were expecting him. The guard took out a ring of keys from his pocket and started unlocking the cell. "The King will see you now," the guard said.

Vivi couldn't believe what she was seeing. They were sent to the palace's dining room where a long table similar to the one she had in Alabasta sat in the middle and a grand chandelier hung above it. A large fire place was lit to keep them warm. However, that wasn't what surprised her. The King and Pirate King were having a couple of drinks and cracking up over something nostalgic. The King sat at the end of the table. His queen sat on his left with their eldest daughter next to her. The three of them sat opposite from them on the King's right. Momo was absent from the scene.

"Man, its been a while since we went drinking like this. We should get together more often and have a couple drinks, Haku!" Luffy said.

"Its been years!" the King said.

"I never knew you guys were so close," Vivi said. She really didn't. She always wondered why the king would let them live on his island so easily after all the ruckus the crew caused during their adventures. Now she knew why.

"When we first landed on the island, Luffy, Zoro, and I went to consult with the king about us living here. They became instant friends. As long as we abide by the rules like the rest of the citizens, there shouldn't be a problem with us living here," Nami explained.

"I never knew you had another daughter!" Luffy said to the King. "Last time I was here, Kara-chan was still a baby. She's around Taichi's age if I remember right."

"She'll be fourteen at the end of the year," King Hakuryuu said.

"Kara-chan's growing up into quite a lady," Nami said. "She looks like a real princess."

Kara huffed and looked away. The queen, Emilia, smiled and patted her daughter's head. Vivi could see the resemblance between the two. Kara and Momo both inherited their mother's shining white hair. Momo's eyes matched her mother's green eyes while Kara matched her father's blue eyes.

"I understand it was a big misunderstanding," Emilia started. "Our guards were ordered to find Chihiro and bring her home at all cost. When you resisted, it must've triggered the wrong message. I deeply apologize."

"Where is Momo, uh, Chihiro?" Nami asked.

"She's locked herself in her room ever since we brought her in. She wouldn't talk to any of us. Will you please explain to us how you found her and where?" Emilia asked.

"We found her in the middle of the forest," Vivi started. "She was wearing a blue tattered dress and she was bruised and scratched most of her body. We don't know how she got there. We were hoping you would know."

"She went missing during her grandfather's birthday celebration a few days ago. The forest is practically our backyard. She must've stumbled into it and gotten herself lost."

Kara grew tense, and Nami noticed. Kara kept looking down while fidgeting with her fingers. Beads of sweat were trickling down her temple. "Is something the matter?" Nami addressed her.

"I.. I think I might know how Momo got herself into the forest," Kara said softly.

"You knew?!" Emilia was appalled.

"It was my fault." Kara felt herself shrinking. "We were playing on top of the hill where she tripped and fell. She tumbled into the forest. I tried to look for her, but one of the beasts found me and chased me out. I tried multiple times to go back and look for her! That stupid monkey was always in my way."

"That explains why you always come home dirty and sweaty." Emilia facepalmed.

"I tried my best!" Kara was on the verge of tears. "I wanted to bring her back home!"

Hakuryuu patted her head, then titled her head down so her face was hidden. "You've done enough. You've done good and I'm proud of you, but remember what I said."

Kara took a big whiff and blinked a couple times. She looked back at her guests and smiled. This made Luffy smile. Haku was truly a great king and his greatness showed in his daughters. He raised them well. He only hoped he could be a good father to his own children.

"Can we visit Momo-er, Chihiro before we leave?" Luffy asked. "I'm sure the crew and our own kids are worried about us."

"By all means, go ahead," Hakuryuu replied.

Did you guys know that Taichi, Haru, and Anna spell out "HAT?" I admit, as the writer of this story, I didn't even realize that. It just turned out that way. 0.0

And so why did this chapter take long? First, I had school work. School is always a first priority (¬.¬). And second, it was really hard picking out the names of the royal family, especially the daughters. I know its weird, but I'm sensitive when it comes to names and meanings lol

- Kara (happiness/sunshine/smile) - 13 years old - December 7

- Chihiro (a thousand questions/miles (a hint to her future *winkwink*)) - 7 years old - August 28

Fun Facts:

- Yes, Hakuryuu's name came from Magi. I just liked the name lol I'll be using his nickname "Haku" whenever he comes up in the story.

- Emilia's name came from Hataraku no Maou-sama. I really liked the character's background and I wanted the queen to be a strong hero with a similar background. She often prefers to simply be called "Emi."
