It was some time later when the night's escapade finally caught up with the Jinchuriki and despite his wish to remain awake in the presence of the two women he inevitability wound up slipping away into the sandman's keep. The two didn't mind in the least as they carried on in hushed conversation, occasionally peering over at their exhausted friend in gentle concern. Ino at one point pointing over in a look that could only be described as awe struck.

Naruto's body had contoured around the sleeping kitten protectively as he napped, it was adorable. Sakura and Ino could only giggle softly as the image of a blonde fox sleeping beside the diminutive black cat, it's tail curled like his hands to keep it warm. The laugh faded into a warm smile as she realized that the face of the man child beside them was for the first time since Sakura had seen it, deeply in peace.

Naruto just went too far for me to enjoy anymore and RL has left me with no interest in trying to keep writing in this fandom. Therefore, this fiction is as finished by me as it every will be, and any one may continue should they wish. PM's are always welcome if you would like to know where I was heading with the story.
