"Always Attract" - You Me At Six

"If it hurts this much, then it must be love. And it's a lottery,

I can't wait to draw your name."

Wallace's Point Of View
"BOOYAH" Cyborg shouted after defeating me at a videogame. I clearly wasn't paying attention to it. My mind was on a very different subject. Raven.
"Dude, you've been defeated like four times in a row! What's up with you?" Beast Boy asked me, with a mixture of amusement and worry in his face.
"Sorry, I was distracted." I responded.
"That's quite obvious." The green man added. "What were you thinking about?"
"I bet is a girl" Cyborg commented. "It's that or his hair."
"Nah, don't be silly Cy, he's no Speedy to be worrying about his hair so much. "
"Then it is a girl. " The half-robot said.
"What if it is?" I asked, angry.
"If it's not your fiancée then you're gonna be in trouble. You know how bad she gets when she's angry. " Cyborg said.
"Dude, remember the time we were on a battle and Star said some real nasty things to her when she tried to poison Robin? Damn, that was some serious shit." Beast Boy chuckled, as if it had been a good time. "It was like four, maybe five years ago. We had to sedate both of them. Star was in the infirmary for a several days."
"But don't forget how badly injured Jinx was. She's lucky she made it out alive! Star's real tough." Cyborg commented.
"Yeah, and all that because Jinx wanted to poison Robin. Damn." Beast Boy paused. "So, who where you thinking about?"
"It's not of your concern." I answered. "So don't bother me. "
"Dude, you are spending so much time with Raven that you're starting to become just as rude as her. I hope you don't become a cold hearted bitch, just like her." The grass stain was way past the line now.
He received a really nasty glare from Cyborg. "You ever call my little sister that again and I guarantee you, you'll no longer have testicles"

I shook my head and said "If weren't so fucking ignorant, maybe you'd be able to get to know her better, Garfield." I stood up, and left. I headed for my room.

I entered my room rather angry, not with Beast Boy, but the entire universe. I found Jinx sitting in my bed with a rather slutty lingerie on.
She got up in a very sensual way.
As I closed the door, she approached me, slowly, but surely. The light was dim. I could barely see anything.
When she was close enough to me, she stroked my cheek with the palm of her hand.
"Would you like to play with me, candyman?" Her voice was croaky. With her other hand, she reached the doorknob and locked the door.
"I heard you've got the biggest lollipop in town."
What the fuck? I am seriously not in the mood for this. Of course we have done it before. Hell, we would be doing it like bunnies these days, but with everything that has happened in these few days, I can't even kiss her.
"I'm not in the mood, Jinx." I said. I tried to 'slip' away, but somehow she held me back.
"You're always in the mood, Wallace."
"No, I'm not always in the mood. Didn't we talk about this earlier? You always think you're right, when you aren't."
She backed off and turned away.
"And I am not in the mood to argue. Still, you're always going to be in that stupid sexual mood."
She grabbed her clothes and decided to go into the bathroom that was in the room to change.
"You're surely the one to talk." I rolled my eyes, unlocked the door and left the room.
This day has been weird. I just hope I can talk to Raven later.
She's the one who's keeping me sane these days.
I decided to wait for her in the roof. She always went there in the nights, and it was getting pretty late.

After what seemed like an hour, it was already pitch dark, with a few stars. She arrived, walked up to me and asked "What's wrong?"
"Nothing important really." I said, changing my mood. I was quite down and all thanks to Jinx. "I was waiting for you"
"You were waiting for me? Why?" She was clearly confused.
"Can you, stay with me here?" I asked. I didn't even wanted to talk. I just needed to be with her.
"I can try." She said dryly. She sat down next to me.
There was an uncomfortable silence.
My mood darkened.
"You know, just because everything is basically shit right now, doesn't mean you can't have fun. " She said. "If you want to, we can go with the other Titans and play a game or something. "
"I appreciate your attention, but right now, I don't want to talk to Jinx. I don't want to see her. "
"What happened? I thought things were fine."
I glared at her.
She giggled. "Alright, maybe not fine but you guys did talk to each other. "
I explained what happened an hour ago and I knew she was holding back laughter.
"She… Was she really in such mood?" She let out a short chuckle.
"What can I say?" I smirked. "I'm irresistible."
Her face was a mixture between a smirk and a frown. "Keep on dreaming, sweet cheeks. "
I got up, and she did as well.

"So, is it true you're always on the mood?" Raven asked me while we both began to walk towards the ladder for the floor below us.

"Who knows" I said as I felt warmth in my cheeks. She looked at me and gave me a smirk.

"I know." She said. She was still smirking, and I liked that. "I know sometimes you can be mature enough to stop thinking about sex."

"Put emphasis on the word sometimes, please." I said, joking. The warmth that was once in my cheeks was now gone. She snorted and so did I.

As we made our way to the common room, we decided to stop by in my room for a jacket. I paced quickly to my closet and grabbed a nice leather jacket.

"Do you want one, Rae?" I asked.

"I'm fine, thank you." She replied.

"You know it's gettin' pretty cold, are you sure you don't want one?"

"Uh... No thanks. The cold does not bother me. "

I put on the jacket and walked out of my closet. "Fine, princess. You'll be begging me for my jacket later on." I smirked while opening the door.

"Who says I will?" She said and walked out of my room.

"That sweater of yours. It's too thin." I said, stepping out of my room as well.

"As I said before: The cold does not bother me. " I love her voice. It's so... mysterious.

"You'll see. You just wait." I said, winking. We laughed and proceeded to go to the common room. As we arrived, the boys were playing video games as usual, and Starfire was playing with Silky.

"Hello friend Wallace and hello friend Raven!" Star shouted with a huge grin. "Would you like to go to the mall with the company of me today?"

"Thanks Star, but Rae and I were planning to play some board games with you guys." I commented. Beast Boy rolled his eyes as Robin paused the video game.

"That'd be great! We haven't played a board game in years!" Robin said.

"I am really looking forward to play the game of the board with you, friends." Stat exclaimed. "Count me in! I'll beat all of you!" Cyborg said.

"Which one shall we play?" Robin asked.

"I suggest monopoly. It's my forte." Raven said.

"Aw yeah! Don't worry Rae, I'll get you a booby prize after I win."

"Not necessary. It is I who will win."

"You wanna bet, lil sis? If you win, you get $100 bucks."

"And if she loses?" Beast Boy asked.

"I'll get $100 bucks." Cyborg said.

"Fair enough." Raven said.

Robin, who went for the game, came back really quick. We all sat down in front of the TV. I sat down next to Raven. We played monopoly for hours. It was stressing as fuck. "You can't do that! it's against the rules!" "Shut up! You're not my mother" "How do I buy this?" "You stole my money!" "Fuck you! I don't want to play anymore!" And many more arguments took place that day. The last two remaining members were Cyborg and Raven. I decided to stay beside Raven, unlike everyone else who also lost. They went to sleep.

But it was a horrible decision.

"HEY! That's MY property." "You ain't got no money!" "You have to pay." "You are going to lose." Two more hours of arguments. At least these ones were a bit more civilized. It was twelve past two in the morning. Raven won the game. Cyborg paid the bill and dragged himself to his room. After a very long silence, I spoke up: "So... want to watch a movie?"

"Sure, why not." She said. "I'd love a good movie." She began to clean up the games remains and I began to make some popcorn.
